Remembering Maulana Maudoodi

Kaukab Siddique had a personal Connection with Maudoodi, the greatest teacher of Islam in the modern times. Let us begin with his teachings which have been translated and distributed in the Muslim world.
Islam is a complete way of life
The Quran is the most revolutionary and transformational book in the world.
Hadith in the form of examples and teachings of the prophet, peace be upon him, can change the lives of human beings.
Muslims must not follow the western way of life. The west is accepting and following KUFR.
Allah has given us Pakistan. Here and wherever possible we should live according to the example[hadith] of the Prophet, peace be upon him.
Maulana Maudoodi taught Muslims that organization based on good leadership is essential.
We must work together in harmony and peace. Individualism is important if it does not become desire for egoism.
Pakistan is very important but its leadership should be Islamic. Nationalism is opposed to Islam.
Many people thought he was against Pakistan but when India attacked Pakistan he was on the radio urging Pakistanis to fight back.
Maulana Maudoodi opposed groups using Islam for group benefits. He opposed Qadianis [calling themselves ahmediyya] who were undermining the fundamental teachings of Islam. He taught that Muhammad, pbuh is the final leader of Islam and groups should not present their leaders as top leaders.
His teachings about modesty made him an opponent of western style entertainment and dramas.
He started the organization known as jamaate Islami.
He encouraged women to work for the Islamic cause.
Tens of thousands of women support Jamaate Islami.
The Saudis thought they could buy him because they have huge funds. He wrote a devastating book against them titled Khilafat O Mulukiat [caliphate and monarchy] [there is no kingship in Islam]
Jihad is central to islam but Jihad has rules. He published a book about Jihad.
RIBA [interest] capitalism is forbidden in Islam.
Racism , sexism, gambling pork, blood and liquor are forbidden.
He taught Quran, hadith, fiqh and seerat.
Muslims all over the world are One Ummah.
[Kaukab Siddique received numerous letters from Maulana Maudoodi. Some of these Siddique translated into English and published as a book titled COME, LET US CHANGE THIS WORLD.]

9/11 and America's Victimhood Platform
The events of 9/11/2001 were horrific and life-shattering. Seeing planes flying into and through buildings shook and emotionally destabilized all of us! Almost 3,000 people lost their lives that day.
Some of us lost loved ones from this tragedy, and over 9,000 people are dealing with 9/11 related illnesses.
Everyone is now learning that the government's efforts to reopen Wall Street under the guise of "proving" to the so-called terrorists that their destruction would not stop New Yorkers from getting back to work were really motivated by greed. The Mamdani Administration released 170,000 pages of the 9/11 report. Mayor Mamdani did not hold back when he said key government officials knew the air in the Wall Street area was still contaminated with asbestos and other debris from the collapsed buildings when they invited people to return.
Clerics from all faiths, first responders, and good Samaritans went down there to help with the clean-up, including coming to the aid of survivors. May Allah reward these volunteers for their efforts, especially since many of them have become ill as a result. Some have died from 9/11-related illnesses. The government has used different legal maneuvers to avoid paying any of these 9/11 victims for their medical treatment or any retribution to their families after they've passed away.
After the 9/11 documents were released, former New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani tried to distract people from his role in encouraging people to return to Wall Street too soon by stating that he was "offended" that Mayor Mamdani was attending the 9/11 Memorial Ceremony. Giuliani went on to say that Muslims are trying to take over America and Europe. However, having been immersed in that 9/11 dust as the buildings collapsed, his encouragement may have come from naivete. It is believed that politicians were tricked just as their constituents were at the time.
Although the events of 9/11/2001 were tragic enough, it is still important to understand the motivations behind these attacks. The American media wanted us to believe that these attacks were committed out of envy. I heard people in the media make comments about how these Islamic "fanatics" envy Americans for our "freedoms." However, the motivations behind those horrific events are just as horrific!
The deaths of 500,000 Iraqis children as a result of a U.S.-led embargo, as well as support for Israel's occupation of Palestine, are believed to be the prime motivators for the attacks on 9/11/2001. America and its allies have inflicted harm on certain Muslim countries, such as the Sudan, Somalia, Palestine, etc. It is illogical to believe that people will continue to allow America to oppress and steal these countries' resources without any retaliation.
The American media played an evil role in encouraging hatred toward Muslims. For instance, CNN played a video of Palestinians celebrating. The video was played while the World Trade Center was on fire, implying that it was current. The major red flag was that it was broad daylight in this video. As I had learned from New Trend Editor Dr. Kaukab Siddique, at the time, when it is daylight in that part of the world, it is nighttime here in America!
After being inundated with complaints from knowledgeable viewers, CNN pulled the video without explanation. CNN's silence indicated their actions were intentional. By the way, the video was 1990 footage of the invasion of Kuwait.
Particularly around this time of year, television stations air anti-Muslim documentaries about the Islamic State (or ISIS), Saddam Hussein, and other Muslims. The Muslims associated with the events of 9/11 were mostly from Arabia, but the others were from the United Arab Emirates, Lebanon, and Egypt.
The trial of the alleged "mastermind" Khalid Sheikh Mohammed was recently set to begin in June 2028, which would be a whopping 27 years after 9/11/2001! What gives the United States the power to kidnap people from overseas and bring them here for trial without concrete evidence? According to international law, these types of trials should be held in Geneva, Switzerland, a neutral country. I don't expect Khalid Sheikh Mohammed to have a fair trial, if he has one at all.
It is this type of arrogance, inhumanity, and abuse that created the animosity that led to the events of 9/11, but Americans do not want to hear this. They want to support the military's abuse of people overseas and play the victim at the same time.
We are not mourning victims of a mass shooting committed by an insecure, petty jerk! The events of 9/11/2001 were an extreme response to deadly American foreign policies. Until that is addressed, 9/11 memorial ceremonies will appear one-sided.
The media continues to promote the idea that the events of 9/11 were unwarranted. As a Muslim, I do not support such attacks, but I understand the motivations. The scary, unsettling thing is that there is nothing preventing such an attack from happening again. America never learned its lesson and has now engaged in a war with another Muslim country: Iran, a country with nuclear weapons, which I was taught went against U.S. policy to do.

NYPD Aid in Suicide-by-Cop
Police tried to coax a suicidal man down from the Brooklyn Bridge, and after just an hour, the man was shot dead. The shooting occurred at 4:15 am. The police shot the man to death when he allegedly lunged at them with a knife.
In the early morning hours of September 4th, a man scaled the Brooklyn Bridge, and police were trying to talk him down. According to Assistant Chief Jerry Dowling, commanding officer of the NYPD Emergency Services Unit, the man said, "I want to die, I want you to kill me. I have a bomb. You're not going to make me do something bad to the cops."
At some point, as ESU officers were talking with the man, he began climbing the bridge cables, but the officers in harnesses couldn't move as freely. When the man got within 3 feet, he allegedly pulled a knife and lunged at an officer, which is when another officer opened fire with one shot.
The man was taken to Bellevue Hospital, where he later died.
The NYPD Force Investigation Unit will investigate the officer's bodycam footage. So, there isn't an independent investigation unit. The NYPD will investigate the deadly force used by a member of the NYPD. Assistant Chief Dowling defended the officer's actions.
