The Strait of Hormuz has been successfully blocked by Iran. Despite daily bombing, Iran is openly defiant, and is sending drones and rockets to all those countries which are retaining US bases, though limiting damage.
Rights of Prisoners
In US prisons, the humanity of prisoners is ignored. They are reduced to numbers and their names are ignored. Islam teaches humane behavior towards prisoners. They should be permitted to wear their own clothes, and their families should be allowed to bring them food. There should be a program for each prisoner to re-enter into normal existence.
Both Islam and international law prohibit the torture of prisoners.
How Can Muslims (and Friends of Muslims) Resist by Peaceful Means?
Muslims are several billion globally, but are facing terrible oppression. Palestine is facing genocide. Egypt is under the heels of a monstrous dictator known as General Sisi. The terrible suffering of Palestinian children is instrumented by Israel.
Each Muslim can boycott products and businesses which support Israel.

The media say security was the tightest possible and security forces are being given the highest possible praise.
Then how was the suspect able to get through with several weapons? And even discharged a weapon? And shot an officer.
Why was the shooter stripped naked? If it was for injuries, why were no injuries visible in media photos or video? The way the shooter was treated raises yet again the issue of due process and the rights of a subject who has yet to be charged.
One report says some women hiding under tables during the shooting stole liquor bottles. And one man hiding under a table was gobbling up the expensive salad he said he had paid for.
Was the president shaken by the attack? Not at all. Soon after the incident, he came back and made one of his famous speeches.

In a strong and widely discussed statement, Claudia Sheinbaum has called on the United States to reconsider its long-standing policies toward Cuba, arguing that sanctions and pressure are harming ordinary people rather than solving political disputes.
Sheinbaum emphasized that what she described as a "blockade and threat" are not tools of justice, but mechanisms that directly impact the daily lives of Cuban families. Her remarks reflect a growing sentiment among several global leaders who believe that decades of economic restrictions have contributed to hardship without delivering meaningful political change.
Calling for a new approach, she urged a transition from an era of sanctions to one of cooperation, stressing that national issues should be resolved internally by citizens, within a framework of sovereignty and mutual respect. According to her, diplomacy—not pressure—should guide international relations moving forward.
Bedford-Stuyvesant (Bed-Stuy), Brooklyn, a predominantly black area, has been experiencing harassment by Orthodox Jewish real estate investors looking to buy homes in the area. Many residents have become annoyed by the constant knocking on their doors and being asked if they are interested in selling. Many residents have lived in Bed-Stuy for decades and have no intentions of moving.
However, these Jewish real estate investors have gotten slicker and more aggressive with their deceit. Now, residents have experienced evictions due to these same investors going to court and getting them evicted.
Last week, Councilman Chi Osse was violently arrested by NYPD officers after he intervened and protested their serving one of his constituents, Carmela Charrington, being evicted by a judge's order. Osse suffered a concussion. However, New York Attorney General Letitia James called it a property dispute.
Mayor Mamdani was critical of the arrest and has created a Deed Theft Prevention Office that will focus on deed fraud identification, prevention, and correction and remediation. Deed theft usually involves forged documents, foreclosure rescue scams, and misleading sales tactics that rob homeowners of their property.
Attorney and housing advocate Peter White will head the Deed Theft Prevention Office. He is an expert in deed theft cases, foreclosures, bankruptcy, and landlord-tenant disputes.
I do not understand why a deed theft prevention office has never been created before. Deed theft has reached epic proportions all over America. LifeLock offers deed theft insurance. So, they are making their money from this problem. Their infomercials can be seen at certain times of the day.

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said...
"A person whose last words are Laa ilaaha ill-Allah
[there is no God but Allah] will enter Paradise."

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:
"Whoever is killed for the sake of Allah is a martyr,
and whoever dies for the sake of Allah is a martyr."
[Source~Narrated by S. Muslim Hadith # 1915]
It is narrated that 'Aa'ishah (may Allaah be pleased with her), the wife of the Prophet (peace be upon him), said:
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said...
"The Martyrs are five (5)
the one who dies of plague,
the one who dies of a stomach disease,
the one who drowns,
the one who is crushed by a falling wall,
and the one who is martyred for the sake of Allah."

I asked the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)
about the plague, and he told me that it is a punishment that Allah sends upon whomsoever He will, and that Allah has made it a mercy for the believers, for there is no one who stays in his land at the time of a plague, bearing that with patience and seeking Allah's reward, knowing that nothing will befall him but that which Allah has decreed for him,
but he will be given a reward like that of a martyr."

Al-Buraydah ibn al-Husayb (may Allaah be pleased with him) said:
I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say,
"The believer dies with sweat on his forehead."

The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:
"There is no Muslim who dies on the day of Friday or the
night of Friday, but Allah will protect him from the
trial (fitnah) of the grave."

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said...
"A woman who dies with child is a martyr."
al-Khattaabi said:
What this means is if she dies with a child in her womb.
'Awn al-Ma'bood.
Imam Ahmad narrated (17341) that 'Ubaadah ibn al-Saamit said:
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) told us about the
martyrs and mentioned among them,
"A woman who is killed by the child in her womb attains martyrdom,
and her child will drag her by his umbilical cord to Paradise."
[Classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Kitaab al-Janaa'iz, p. 39]
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said...
"Whoever is killed defending his wealth is a martyr;
whoever is killed defending his religion is a martyr;
whoever is killed in self-defense is a martyr."
[Source~Narrated by al-Tirmidhi~ Hadith # 1421]
Salmaan al-Faarisi (may Allaah be pleased with him) said:
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:
"Guarding the borders of Islam for one day and one night is better than fasting and praying at night for a whole month, and if he dies (whist performing this duty),
he will go on receiving the reward for this great deed and his provision (continually),
and he will be spared the questioning in the grave. "

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:
"Whoever says Laa ilaaha ill-Allah,
seeking the countenance of Allah thereby,
and that is the last of his deeds, will enter Paradise.
whoever gives charity and that is the last of his deeds
will enter Paradise."
