What can Muslims learn from the recent mid term elections

First thing to notice is that the election victories were
very close except in Florida and Nevada. Only a very few
issues separate the two parties.
Cair is urging Muslims to celebrate that Muslims won
numerous minor positions. Cair has blundered again. These
election victories simply mean that educated, politically
savvy, Muslims have been assimilated into the non-Muslim
power structure.
A minority which is being absorbed into the powerful
majority becomes culturally and mentally extinct.
Even outstanding activists like Omar Ilhan have been not
only ineffective but have had to apologize even for minor
transgressions.
Both parties support Israel which has occupied Palestine
and committed genocide.
Both parties support the bombing of Islamic groups which
want an Islamic state. Note that these Islamic groups are
soft targets and cannot bring down US and Nato jets and
destroy Nato tanks without self-destruction.
By and large the American political parties either
support lgbtq groups or soft peddle their challenges to
religion.Support for abortions is widespread.
Islam does not permit cooperation with oppressors. It is
strictly HARAM.
So what should Muslims in America do?
Dawah. Take the message of Islam to oppressed Americans,
particularly women, prisoners, Black and Hispanic Americans.
Build mosques in the crowded areas, not in the
suburbs.
Protest against specific violations of human rights.
Write, email, come out on the sidewalks.
Remember that the prophet, pbuh, was known for his
support for women and slaves. Act accordingly.
Get legal support for Muslims and others who are being
oppressed in prisons.
Create links with Muslim countries, particularly African
countries.
Educate Muslims overseas about the realities of America.
Do you know that many Americans lack food and clothing and
health.
Refrain from bad language, threats and big claims.
Improve ourselves in health, patience and sharing. Do
not behave as if wealth is to be admired
Focus on behavior.
Palestine
Scores of Israeli settlers break into Al-Asqa
JERUSALEM, Sunday, November 13, 2022 (WAFA) – Scores
of Israeli settler fanatics guarded by police today broke
into the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in occupied Jerusalem,
according to witnesses.
The Jordan-run Islamic Waqf Department, in charge of the
holy site, said scores of Israeli settlers entered the
compound through the Moroccan Gate in groups and performed
rituals and Talmudic prayers there under the protection of
Israeli police officers.
Since 2003, the Israeli occupation authorities have been
allowing settlers into the compound almost on a daily basis,
with the exclusion of Friday, the Muslim day of rest and
worship.
The Islamic Waqf has repeatedly described the settlers'
presence in Al-Aqsa Mosque as provocative, saying that
Palestinian worshippers and guards at Al-Aqsa feel
uncomfortable with the presence of Israeli police and
settlers touring the Islamic holy site.
Israel captured East Jerusalem, where Al-Aqsa Mosque is
located, during the Six-Day War in 1967 in a move never
recognized by the international community.

Afghanistan

The Ministry of Defence has proposed an independent review
of how it handled allegations that the SAS executed unarmed
civilians in Afghanistan.
The announcement comes after BBC Panorama revealed that one
SAS unit was involved in 54 suspicious killings in one
six-month tour in 2010/2011.
A spokesperson for the MoD said the review would be led by a
senior judge.
But relatives of four men killed in a 2011 raid rejected the
review, calling for a full inquiry into the killings.
Turkey
A huge bomb esplosion in a fashionable area of Istanbul
killed 6 people and injured 81. No details yet. [Turkey is
supporting the US in Somalia.]
Ukraine
Russian forces retreated across the Dnieper river at
Kherson. This could be a trap, our analysts say. It is a
common tactic.
Political Prisoners
There are 2.3 million prisoners in the US according to
recent statistics.
Over 350000 of them are Muslims, mostly converts. Reports
indicate that they are the best behaved Muslims.

Who are the sahaba?
Sectarianism is rife in the Muslim world. Each country has
its own spiritual leader. Often the local leaders teach
the people what to believe. Often these local leaders are
swayed by the influence of western, secular, power
structures.
So we have sufi, tribal, regime-oriented and numerous other
versions of "Islam." In parts of India, Africa, Russia and
the United States we have "local" Islam. Even brutal tyrants
like General Sisi of Egypt and Bashar Assad of Syria go for
Eid prayers and are followed by religious lackeys who know
how to recite the Qur'an.
Regimes like UAE Bahrain and Saudi Arabia dare to link up
with Israel and use "Abraham Accords" as a religious hook.
Following the example of Christians who "love Jesus" many
Muslims have started claiming that their religion is perfect
because they love the Prophet, pbuh. Celebration of the
birthday of the Prophet, pbuh, is common among huge numbers
of Muslims who have no idea about the life of the Prophet,
pbuh.
All these divisions among Muslims make the ummah
insignificant on the global level although there are 1.8
billion of "us."
This leadership vacuum has become permanent because Muslims
are out of touch with the life of the Prophet, pbuh, which
is available to us only through genuine narrations by the
sahaba, the Companions of the Prophet, pbuh. No scholar or
leader is equal to the sahaba who saw the Prophet, pbuh,
stood by him and with him in his entire struggle.
The Qur'an itself was organized by the sahaba, chief among
them Usman, r.a.
How was the Prophet, pbuh, in Makka? How did he manage to
manage to move to Madina with the help of Abu Bakr, r.a.,
and his daughter Asma, r.a. How people like Bilal, r.a., and
Zayd, r.a., helped to put and end to slavery and how Ayesha,
r.a., brought leadership and scholarship to women.
What about the battles and who stood by him?
After he passed away, the sahaba defeated the empires of
Persia and Rome and hence we have the "Muslim world."
Notice how in America, those who taught the original Islam,
Maudoodi, Iqbal, Usman Fodio and Syed Qutb are ignored.
The people who are most highly praised in the Qur'an, other
than the prophets, are the sahaba, those who supported the
Prophet, pbuh, in Makka, and left their entire past behind
and moved after him to Madina. Then come those who welcomed
him and supported him in Madina. Then the next
generation.
Let us focus on those on who brought us authentic Islam.
"The vanguard (of Islam)- the first of those who forsook
(their homes) and of those who gave them aid, and (also)
those who follow them in(all) good deeds,- well-pleased is
Allah with them, as are they with Him: for them hath He
prepared gardens under which rivers flow, to dwell therein
forever: that is the supreme felicity.

The three-judge bench raised serious questions about the
police investigation, criticised the sessions court for
"glaring lapses" in the trial and said the judge had acted
like a "passive umpire".
The decision has angered the victim's parents, shocked
activists and lawyers and led to outrage on social media in
a country where tens of thousands of rapes are reported
every year.
"This is what justice looks like in India 2022," one Twitter
user wrote, sharing a photo of the woman's dejected
father.
Some compared the top court's decision with a recent order
by the Gujarat state government to release convicts who were
serving life sentences for the gang rape of Bilkis Bano, a
pregnant Muslim woman, and the murder of her relatives
during 2002 religious riots in Gujarat state.
Anamika's father told me that his "hopes of getting justice
were dashed in minutes".
"We had waited for 10 years for justice. We had faith in the
judiciary, we believed that the Supreme Court will confirm
the death penalty and my daughter's killers would be finally
hanged," he said.
The 19-year-old lived in Chhawla, a lower middle-class rural
area in south-west Delhi. In January 2012, she started a job
at a call centre in Gurgaon, a suburb of the capital, and
was the sole breadwinner for her family.
"She had just received her first salary and was thrilled,"
says anti-rape activist Yogita Bhayana, who has been
supporting the family in their fight for justice for the
past eight years.
On the night of 9 February 2012, Anamika was returning home
from work with three friends when she was abducted by men in
a red car.
The gruesome crime made headlines in India after her
partially burnt, horribly mutilated body with signs of
torture was found four days later.
During trial, the prosecution argued that the case against
the accused was watertight - they said they had found the
wallet of one of the three men at the crime scene, that the
suspects had confessed to the crime and had led the police
to the body and helped recover the victim's clothing.
DNA samples collected from blood stains, semen and hair
found in the seized car proved that the accused and the
victim had been in the vehicle, they added.
The trial court convicted the men and gave them the death
penalty two years later. While confirming their death
sentence, the high court described the accused as
"predators".
But Monday's 40-page Supreme Court order, authored by
Justice Bela Trivedi, questioned the evidence presented by
the prosecution and said it was possible that it had been
tampered with.

Regime Forcing Women to wear Hijab has Seriously Damaged the
Islamic Cause
A top Iranian actress has posted an image of herself on
Instagram without a headscarf to signal solidarity with
anti-government demonstrations.
Taraneh Alidoosti - best known for her role in the
Oscar-winning film The Salesman - also held a sign reading
"Woman, Life, Freedom" in Kurdish.
The slogan has become a common rallying cry among
protesters.
Demonstrations sparked by the death of Mahsa Amini in police
custody are entering their seventh week.
The 22 year-old died after she was arrested by morality
police in Tehran for allegedly violating Iran's strict rules
requiring women to cover their hair with a hijab, or Islamic
headscarf.
Ms Alidoosti is one of Iran's most successful actresses and
has more than eight million followers on Instagram. She
starred in The Salesman, which won an Academy Award in 2016
for the Best International Feature Film.
She has previously vowed to remain inside Iran at any price
and has paused her career to support the families of those
killed in the security forces' clampdown on
demonstrators.
Local human rights activists say least 328 people have been
killed and 14,800 others have been detained.
The star's post is the latest gesture of support by leading
figures in the arts and sports of Iran.
Last month, Iranian star footballer Sardar Azmoun backed
demonstrators amid increasing violence from the government.
The Bayern Leverkusen forward condemned security forces in
an Instagram story, saying: "Shame on you for easily killing
the people and viva women of Iran. Long live Iranian
women!"
Pakistan Finding a Way Out

Lahore: Nov 10: Jamaat-i-Islami emir Sirajul Haq has invited
the parliamentary parties for dialogue to develop a strong
mechanism to stop interference of establishment in
politics.
The institution, he said during a press conference in
Mansoorah on Thursday, has already promised that it would
stay neutral. Hence, he added, there was need to devise a
method and if required a fresh legislation to keep the
establishment away from political affairs, in light of their
pledge.
"We need a new social contract. Political parties must sit
together to ensure the supremacy of the constitution."
The country, he said, of-course needed fresh elections and
it was way forward to end the prevailing uncertainty. But,
he added, the fear was that no one would accept the outcome
of the polls, adding to the turmoil. So, he emphasized,
election should be held after electoral reforms with
consensus among all political parties.
"I met Imran Khan on Wednesday and we discussed all these
issues," he said, adding the JI will approach all other
political parties with the purpose to bring them on
table.
Haq regretted the PDM, the PPP and the PTI failed to
strengthen institutions and democratic system despite
staying in power for years. Each ruling party, he said,
wanted the institutions worked only for its agenda and they
all were desperate to get the backing of the
establishment.
The time, he said, has approached the politicians show some
seriousness and start thinking about the masses who were at
the ultimate losing end.
Election Commission, he said, should be financially and
administratively independent and powerful, free from
influence of establishment and political parties. The JI, he
said, suggestion was that the election should be held on the
principle of proportional representation as many democracies
in the world have successfully adopted the practice.
Haq who earlier presided over the meeting of the JI majlise
aamla (working council) welcomed the government decision of
withdrawing appeal in favor of riba, demanding from the
government give a roadmap for enforcing the Islamic model of
economy.
He said the youth of the country wanted real change and it
was evident from their participation in the JI youth
leadership convention in Greater Iqbal Park Lahore on
October 30.
"We want full support of the youth to transform Pakistan
into Islamic welfare state."

Poland was victimized in the Second World War, first by
Germany and then by Russia [Soviet union]. Poland continued
to resist through Polish forces outside the country. The
Polish resistance was organized and led by General
Sikorski, a highly respected leader for the Polish
diaspora.
The Polish officers corp stranded in Russia was the hope of
Poland's future independence once Hitler was defeated.
Stalin sensed that these officers would be obstacles in
Russia's path to hegemony in eastern Europe.
The entire officers corp was liquidated by Stalin and the
bodies buried in the Katyn forest.
When the German armies entered the Soviet Union, they
discovered the mass graves in the Katyn forest. Stalin,
however, claimed that the Germans had committed this ghastly
crime and were trying to tarnish the image of Russia.
The western powers easily accepted the Russian claim though
Germany brought in independent investigators to ensure that
the Russian hand could be deciphered.
All would have gone well for Stalin's claims except that the
highly respected Polish leader Sikorski was suspicious and
wanted the horrific crime to be investigated.
Despite Churchill's evasions, Sikorshi kept pressing for
investigation. Sikorski would not stop. He owed it to to the
people of Poland.
This was where British leader Churchill came into the
picture. He was a
great admirer of Stalin and saw Russia as the savior of
Britain which was under great pressure from Germany. Polish
troops overseas were under British command and rebellion
among them would be a disaster for British-Russian unity
against Germany.
It appears that British intelligence services brought about
the crash of the plane in which Sikorski and his entire team
was taking off from Gibralter. All of them drowned EXCEPT
the British pilot.
Irving carries out meticulous step-by-step research to show
that the plane's crash was NOT an accident.
Irving skilfully avoids blaming Churchill to avoid being
sued [or being arrested].
Without Sikorski the Polish forces became leaderless. The
Russian story was accepted and at the Nuremburg trial of
defeated and captured German leaders, Katyn was attributed
to Germany.
[Much later the truth of Katyn was uncovered but that is
outside the framework of this book.]
Muslims should note the Big Lie technique which Russia is
carrying out even today in Syria and Ukraine.
Also note the perfidy of Britain which gave Palestine to the
Jews.
Churchill is considered almost a prophet by western
journalists.
