BBC [November 1] {The language is that of non-Muslims. This
could not be published in USA. The charge against this
hijabi woman was led by a Hindu lawyer. Also "US officials
believe,,," Is that law?]
A US woman who admitted leading an all-female battalion of
the Islamic State group (IS) has been sentenced to 20 years
in prison.
Allison Fluke-Ekren, a 42-year-old from Kansas, committed
terrorist acts in Iraq, Syria and Libya over an eight-year
period.
She also admitted to giving military training to more than
100 women and girls, including some as young as 10.
She pleaded guilty to the charges in June.
Ahead of the sentencing, prosecutors said the sentence - the
maximum allowable by law - would not be enough to punish her
but should be imposed regardless. Her defence team had
sought an unspecified shorter sentence, arguing that she was
traumatised by her experiences in war-torn Syria.
The former teacher grew up in the small community of
Overbrook in Kansas, according to court documents, and
became a fanatic militant who rose through the ranks of
IS.
While many other women joined IS - including some who fought
or performed other functions on the group's behalf -
Fluke-Ekren is a rare case of a woman being elevated to a
leadership position in the traditionally male-dominated
group.
According to the Department of Justice and public records
seen by the BBC, she moved to the Middle East with her
second husband - a now-deceased member of the Libyan
militant group Ansar Al-Sharia and IS - in the early 2000s,
during which time she still visited Kansas occasionally.
In or around 2012, she was smuggled into Syria and became an
active member of IS, marrying several other militants after
her husband was killed in battle. Two of her subsequent
husbands, including a Bangladeshi drone specialist, were
also killed fighting for the group.
Around four years later, she became a leader and organiser
of Khatiba Nusayba, an all-female IS battalion set up in the
group's de-facto capital of Raqqa, Syria. US officials
believe her primary duty there was providing military
training to the women, including in the use of AK-47s,
grenades and suicide belts.

Former President of Dar al-Taqwa mosque Pleads Guilty!
HOWARD COUNTY, MD — A 52-year-old Howard County man
pleaded guilty this week to a theft scheme of up to $100,000
that occurred while he served as president of the Dar
Al-Taqwa mosque in Ellicott City.
As president, Adnan Faiyaz Khan had access to checks and
debit cards from the mosque's bank accounts. According to
the Howard County State's Attorney Office, between Jan. 5,
2017 and Aug. 9, 2019, Khan used $40,000 in mosque funds to
make purchases for himself and his family, including light
fixtures for his home, a new vehicle for his wife, made
property tax payments for his business in Prince George's
County and spent money on personal activities and food
during a family vacation.
According to court documents, Khan did not have permission
from any of the Dar Al-Taqwa mosque board members or any
members of the mosque to use its money for his personal
expenses. Khan was sentenced to five years suspended with
two years of unsupervised probation.

Sikh Response to Blasphemy and desecration.
Eastern Punjab is in Turmoil.
BBC News [Nov. 4]
A radical Hindu religious leader, Sudhir Suri, has been shot
dead in north-western India.
The 58-year-old was killed on Friday while protesting in
Amritsar - home to the world famous Golden Temple, one of
the holiest sites in Sikhism.
Mr Suri was the self-styled leader of the fundamentalist
religious group, Hindu Shiv Sena.
A local shopkeeper was subsequently arrested in connection
with the killing, authorities said.
The Director General of Police in Punjab state, Gaurav
Yadav, said the suspect was being questioned.
"Whosoever is behind it and whosoever hatched the conspiracy
will be unveiled and those who are behind it will be
arrested," he said.
Sikhs in India and abroad have previously accused Mr Suri of
making derogatory comments about their faith and
community.
According to police, Mr Suri had been in Amritsar outside a
local temple, to protest against the alleged desecration of
Hindu deities.
In recent years Amritsar has seen a spate of apparently
religiously-motivated killings.
In September, a man was killed in public after being accused
of chewing tobacco and being drunk near the Golden
Temple.
Last year, a man was beaten to death after being suspected
of trying to commit a sacrilegious act near the temple.

Muslims make serious errors in the supplication [du'a] when
their dear ones die.
by Kaukab Siddique, PhD
It's matter of fact to say: We come from Allah and unto
Allah we return,
However many or most Muslims seem to be giving advice to
Allah, such as "give him/her the highest
place in paradise" or "forgive his sins" or "be merciful"
or "fill his grave with light."
They forget that Allah is most Merciful and All Knowing.
Strangely enough they often forget the advice Allah
has given us about how or what du'as we should make. The
du'as should be for ourselves or for other living persons
[not for the dead who will be judged according to what they
did when they were alive].
The most basic prayer is recited from sura Fatiha:
"Show us the straight way, The way of those on whom you have
bestowed
Your grace, those whose portion is not wrath, and those who
not go astray." [The Qur'an 1:6-7]
When we are under great stress and pressure, this should be
our du'a:
"Our Lord! Do not condemn us if we forget or fall into
error. Our Lord! Do not lay on us a burden like that which
you laid on those before us. Our Lord ! Do not lay on us a
burden greater than we have strength to bear, Blot out our
sins, and grant us forgiveness, Have mercy on us, You are
our Protector; Give us victory over the unbelievers. "
2:286
[Maulana Maudoodi writes from hadith that this was the time
when oppression of the Muslims had reached extremes, about a
year before hijrat. Tafheem ul-Qur;an Vol. 1, page 225]
Then in the open struggle against the oppressors, we are
urged to make this du'a:
"Our Lord! Forgive us our sins and anything we have done
that transgressed our duty, establish our feet firmly, and
give us victory against the unbelievers." [3:147]
So in hard times and good times, we should seek help from
Allah. There is no way for Muslims to join the oppressors.
Look at what happened in the final scene in Afghanistan when
those who had joined the occupiers were running after the
planes going back to America and falling off the planes.
Imran Khan Should be the Prime Minister but
---
by Kaukab Siddique
All over the country crowds have come out to protest the gun
attack on Imran which injured him and left one person dead
and 7 injured.
His enemies are trying to divert attention by putting the
blame on a crazy "religious" gun man.
Imran has specifically blamed conspiracy by the Prime
Minister, the Interior Minister and a senior ISI military
man.
Imran has called on the people to remain peaceful otherwise
the country would be in flames,
Whichever way Imran goes, huge crowds go with him. His party
has won just about all the bye elections. The people love
him for having said that America is behind his removal.
The people remember General Musharraf and all the generals
who sold out to Uncle Sam. All those Muslims in GTMO
humiliated and degraded were put there by the generals and
their servants.
General Bajwa goes to USA to meet American generals and the
contents of the confabs are never revealed.
At the top of the filthy killers in uniform are the
generals of the ISI, the spymasters. Imran is gradually
having to face these killers. As Imran was starting his
latest "Long March" two of these generals held their own
conferences and tried to spread confusion and fear about
Imran,
These tyrants in uniform always claim that they will let the
masses choose their own leaders and will not interfere in
politics [LOL].
More and more leaders of Imran's party, PTI, are daring to
criticize the generals, though often tongue in cheek. One
man named Arshad came out a bit too openly and was
terrified, realizing that his life was in danger. He fled
all the way to Kenya in Africa.
There he was shot dead, allegedly by the Kenyan police [!].
Political parties are trying to deflect and urging the
setting up of committees to "investigate" the murder.
Poor Imran is now saying that his "Long March" will go on
forever and he needs permission to enter the Red Zone in
Islamabad, like the Green Zone in Baghdad.
And today he was shot, "fortunately" in the leg, a near
disaster for Pakistan.
Pakistanis love the army and wonder why it is not taking on
India on the Kashmir "Line of Control."
More and more Pakistanis are remembering that this army is
the only one in the history of Islam which surrendered to a
Hindu army and abandoned the Islamic Bengalis who supported
Pakistan.
Iran
Massacre in Zahedan, retaliation in Shiraz.
Brief modern Iranian history
This happened on October 26:
"At least 15 people have been killed and 40 others injured
in an attack on a Shia religious shrine in the southern
Iranian city of Shiraz, according to country's state media
agency, IRNA.
The report said that the attack, which took place at the
Shah Cheragh Shrine early on Wednesday evening, was carried
out by three armed men who entered the shrine."
This is what happened on September 30 in Sunni city of
Zahidan, Iran.
"According to Amnesty International., 82 people have been
killed, with 66 losing their lives on September 30 alone,
including three children.
The protest "was bloodily suppressed by security forces. It
has since been named Zahedan's 'Bloody Friday'," said
Norway-based group Iran Human Rights (IHR).
Influential Sunni cleric Molavi Abdol Hamid charged that "a
group of officers opened fire Friday evening on a crowd that
gathered around a mosque, killing and wounding multiple
young people".
New Trend published the complete report on the massacre of
Sunnis in Zahidan. Iran behaved as if nothing serious had
happened and attributed it to "foreign interference."
[Iran's history: The regime in Tehran has been consistently
helping, Bashar Assad, the mass murderer of Syria.
SOHR has documented the murder after torture of 65000 Sunnis
in Assad's prisons. Another 45,000 cannot be documented
because they are in such bad shape.
Iran joined the United States/NATO and Iraqi Shias to
destroy the Islamic city of Mosul in Iraq which was
flourishing under the government of the Islamic State. A
British newspaper put the deaths of civilians in Mosul at
more than 40,000 with a million made homeless.
Iran joined Russia and the Assad regime to destroy the Sunni
city of eastern Aleppo in Syria. Countless killed.
Is Iran willing to fight Israel? For the last two years
Israel has been raiding Iranian military supplies stored in
Syria once or twice a month to help Hizbullah. Iran has not
been able to respond to Israel even once. Apparently Iran
only fights those who are weak and helpless.]
[Shiaism claims to adore various "imams" buried in various
parts of Iran. The Shias venerate these "imams" while they
denigrate the Companions of the Prophet, pbuh. In Islam
there is no place for pilgrimages to any mosques or shrines
other than Makka, Madina and alAqsa. Thus Iran has developed
a new religion which it claims is "Islam"]

Historic Crowds in Mali against Blasphemy
Bamako (AFP) - Thousands of demonstrators thronged Mali's
capital Bamako on Friday to protest the publication of a
video on social media deemed blasphemous against Islam.
Six people were held on Thursday accused of complicity in
circulating a "blasphemous" video showing a man making
"derogatory comments" and "insulting acts" against Muslims,
the Koran and the Prophet Mohammed, the Bamako prosecutor's
office said.
Police said the protest, called by the High Islamic Council
of Mali (HCM), gathered thousands of people, although
organisers estimated their numbers at more than one
million.
Slogans including "No to blasphemous comments" and "no more
attacks on Islam and the Prophet Mohammed" were visible on
the protesters' banners.
"What happened is unforgivable. The author of the
blasphemous comments must be arrested and tried," imam
Abdoulaye Fadiga told AFP.
Haby Diallo, a teacher at a religious school in her 40s,
said she wanted "inter-religious dialogue. Everyone should
respect each other's religion".
The six people were put in pre-trial detention notably for
refusing to tell authorities where the man -- who is still
on the run -- was hiding, a source in the prosecutor's
office told AFP.
The affair has caused uproar in Mali, where nearly 95
percent of the population is Muslim and the right to
blaspheme does not exist.
The HCM -- a grouping of religious leaders and associations
and Mali's highest Islamic body -- has called for the man
behind the video to be "killed
