The battle of Qadissia liberated Iran and led to 1000 years
of Islamic prosperity.
Iran, then known as Persia, prided itself on its regime's
wealth and military power though the people in general were
poverty stricken and oppressed.
The emperor ridiculed the messages of the Prophet Muhammad,
pbuh, which focused on tawheed, justice and the equality of
all humanity.
The emperor wondered how the raggedy people of Arabia could
challenge his might and power.
The emperor wanted to give charity and goods to the Islamic
people which he thought were their real concerns.
The Companions of the Prophet, pbuh, explained to the
emperor that they were interested in the worship of Allah,
the Creator of the universe.
The Persian attitude was that these Muslims are poor
uneducated savages. The emperor first tried to intimidate
and then humiliate the representatives of the Islamic army.
The emperor's masses compared the Zoroastrianism of their
homegrown- thousands of years old religion and found that it
was totally wanting in comparison to the issues and messages
of Islam.
Finally the Persians decided to crush the Muslims. The
emperor appointed a general named Rostum who was of
international repute and was deemed invincible.
The Persian army had 33 elephants. No tradition al army
could stand against them.
The Persians had several thousand archers who could pick off
horsemen at quite a distance.
The battle started near an Iraqi town named Hira in
November. 636 c.e., about 14 hijri. It went on for three
days and the Islamic forces suffered heavily from the
archers, and their horses were terrified of the
elephants.
Caliph Umar, r.a, had appointed Sa'ad ibn Abi Waqqas, r.a.,
one of the earliest converts to Islam. In turn Sa'ad got the
support of Qa'aqa al-Tamimi, one of the youngest converts to
Islam along with many other Iraqi fighters. Large numbers of
women, married and unmarried, had also arrived to help the
Islamic army.
The fast moving Islamic horsemen killed large numbers of
Persian troops but could not stop the elephants
Sa'ad then, after three days of hard fighting, told his best
horsemen to blind the leading elephant. The elephant was
confused and charged into his own army. The other
elephants too were confused, In the confusion of the
Persians, Sa'ad r.a., ordered an all out attack by the
entire Islamic army. Rapidly the Persians started retreating.
They were slaughtered by the mujahideen.
The battle of Qadisia was a great victory for Islam. Rostum
too was trapped in the melee of fleeing Persians and killed.
Caliph Umar, r.a., knew strategy and tactics. He sent the
Islamic armies, small in numbers but fast moving, to the
weak points of the Persian empire. Within a few years the
entire empire had collapsed and the oppressed masses started
embracing Islam in huge numbers.
Umar, r.a., had learned well from the Prophet, pbuh, that no
one can stand against the authentic teachings of Islam. The
Muslim volunte\armies moved across what is now Iraq. into
Iran proper. The Persian capital, surrendered and emperor
Yazdegard himself was killed.
Umar, r.a., built new cities in Iraq, not letting the
Muslims take anything from the Persian people.
The Islamic armies moved forward into what is now western
Afghanistan and even unto China.
Some of the greatest scholars of Islam were Persian.
Modern Iran is a sectarian state, first produced by the
Saffavid tyranny in the 16 th century, c,e. Over two hundred
years, the Saffavids forced the Sunni population to accept Shi'ism.
Later the Pahlavi tyrants linked up with Israel. Now Iran is a
great friend of Russia and of Assad, the mass murderer of Syria.
The word IRAN is a racist term meaning land of the Aryans.
Only Baluchis, Kurds and some Azeris are Sunnis.
Is there a mosque for Sunnis in the vast city of Tehran? Who knows.
A convert to Sunni Islam can be sentenced to death.
Iran should return to Islam. There is no hidden mahdi who
will solve Iran's problems.

RAWALAKOT (AZAD KASHMIR)-July 18: Jamaat-e-Islam Emir
Sirajul Haq has said the third generation of Occupied
Kashmir is now the torch bearer of freedom struggle, writing
the history of valor with their blood against ruthless
Indian atrocities.
"I don't recall any other nation than the people of Kashmir
have made such sacrifices for freedom in recent history," he
said while addressing a public rally at Rawalakot here on Sunday.
People of Azad Kashmir, he said, must boycott those
political parties who did nothing for Kashmir cause during
their rule. He said he felt surprised watching leaders of
the PTI, the PML-N and the PPP in AJK election campaign,
questioning what was on their credit for Azad Kashmir and
Kashmir cause. He said the youth of AJK was jobless,
majority of people were living in extreme poverty, inflation
was major problem in the area but the PTI and the PML-N
government of the AJK never bothered to address these issues.
"I request the people of AJK to vote for the JI on July 25
for their bright future."
He paid tribute to those martyrs who shed their blood for
freedom from India and to Kashmiri women who were struggling
side by side with men for the cause for decades. He said the
JI was also proud of it that its leaders and workers made
great contribution to freedom struggle. He said the JI was
the only political party of Pakistan who was pursuing the
case of Kashmir much more than any other party for seven decades.
Sirajul Haq, on occasion, also remembered the people of
Afghanistan and Palestine for their unmatched bravery
against occupied forces. He said people of Afghanistan won
the freedom by defeating the superpower and now the dawn of
freedom would soon rise on Occupied Kashmir and Palestine.
He said Muslim Ummah should join their hand to fight against
injustice and tyranny.

General Milli Yekjahti Council Liaqat Baloch while talking
to reporters on the occasion of the inauguration ceremony of
the unique un-dotted Urdu translation of the Holy Qur'an by
Prof. Dr. Muhammad Tahir Mustafa and his visit to the center
for collective sacrificial animals in Lahore said that The
Holy Qur'an is a miraculous inspired book. Until the Day of
Judgment, translators and commentators will continue their
efforts to translate the Holy Qur'an for the guidance of
humanity. The first un-dotted translation of the Holy Qur'an
in the Islamic world is a great achievement and a great
blessing and religious service. The right of the Qur'an is
to make it dominant and superior in the state system. The
Objectives Resolution, the 22 points of the Ulema, the
17-point Code of Conduct among all sects and the
implementation of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic
of Pakistan will make Pakistan a dignified, independent and
stable country. In this way, scholars and lovers of Islam
should unite on the national priorities and create an
environment for the guidance of the people.

In recent weeks, Al Qaeda has dedicated an unusual amount of
its propaganda towards encouraging attacks on Israel, Jewish
institutions, and Jewish people. Given shifts in the
Islamist extremist environment—including the outbreak
of violence between Israel and Hamas in May 2021 and Al
Qaeda's expectation that it will gain a safe operational
haven in Afghanistan as the United States withdraws from the
country—this suggests that Al Qaeda or one of its
regional affiliates may intend to recommit to attack Israel
or the Jewish Diaspora. In addition, the last time Al Qaeda
noticeably increased its messaging around Palestine was in
2019, and its affiliates subsequently staged attacks against
a hotel in Kenya and a military installation in Mali which
they claimed were in protest of Israel's "Judaization of
Palestine."
Now, the release of Al Qaeda's One Ummah magazine (an
official publication of the terrorist organization which
declares the group's focus and priorities to its supporters
and affiliates), the outpouring of violently antisemitic
rhetoric in response to the Israel-Hamas conflict, and Al
Qaeda's praise for Hamas field commanders in an official
publication—representing a shift in Al Qaeda's
relations with Hamas—all suggest that Al Qaeda is
recommitting to attacking Israel and Jewish people around
the world.

An Unusual Birthday Request
My birthday, the dreaded Fourth of July, is over. But my
birthday fundraiser, for the Aafia Foundation, is not. I
support the Aafia,Foundation for several reasons
It is one of the few (if not the only) organizations
which has worked consistently to free Dr. Aafia Siddiqui, an
innocent Pakistani woman scientist currently being held on
concocted charges by the US government (she was first
kidnapped, raped, and tortured by the US and its
allies);
The organization's director, Mauri Saalakhan, a Black
man, was concerned enough about the injustice being done to
a Pakistani woman to sit through most/all of her lengthy New
York trial (he is not a New York resident), a shining
example of Islamic brotherhood/sisterhood which Islam
promulgates, but which is rarely practiced;
The organization (and its precursor, the Peace & Justice
Foundation), acting on principle, has long championed high
profile political prisoner cases eschewed by most other
Muslim organizations; and
It is the only Muslim organization to date with the guts
to actually go to the Texas prison where Aafia is held
(under horrific conditions) to protest; they did so every
year, except when precluded by the coronavirus epidemic; and
they plan to do so again this October.
I hope you will consider contributing to the Aafia
Foundation, particularly as it gears up for major political
actions for Aafia in several US cities this fall. Note: The
organization is a 501(c)3, ie a non-profit. (Therefore, for
those of you with the concern, donating to it is perfectly

Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) forbade the practice of building
monopolies in Islamic economics. It is the practice of
hoarding resources so that the majority of these resources
are owned by one entity or individual. This type of
ownership leads to unjust pricing that only benefits the
seller, not the buyer.
The Great Reset is about the world's uber wealthiest
entities controlling all of the resources while they rent
them out to the rest of us. One of their goals is to get us
to believe that, "you will own nothing and be happy."
When Facebook and other companies have gone public on the
stock market, the same institutional investment behemoths
have purchased the largest shares in those new companies:
Blackrock, Inc., Vanguard Group Inc., State Street
Corporation, & Berkshire Hathaway, Inc. Blackrock and
Vanguard own just about every industry in the world! These
companies also own shares in each other, as well.
The way it works with the stock market is that whoever owns
the most shares in that company actually owns the company!
Vanguard and Blackrock own the media (TimeWarner, ComCast,
etc.), Big Pharma (Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson,
etc.), soft drink industry (Coca Cola & Pepsico), textile
industry, the fashion industry (Marc Jacobs, Nike, Gucci,
etc.), and the travel industry (expedia.com,
tripadvisor.com). They even own United Airlines, American
Airlines, as well as the Boeing and Airbus planes used for
flights. It is not an exaggeration to say that Vanguard and
Blackrock have their tentacles in every industry. They own
agricultural (JohnDeere & Bayer), oil and mining companies
(Exxon), too. The list is huge: restaurant chains,
cosmetics, payment processors (PayPal). You name it, literally.
Interesting....if Vanguard and Blackrock own stock in these
companies plus, invest in the shares of each other's
companies are Pepsi and Coca-Cola really competitors?
Blackrock's largest shareholder is Vanguard. However,
Vanguard is a private company and its shareholders cannot be
seen. These institutional investors can be researched on
Yahoo! Finance.
Of course, this is a serious monopoly of the world's
companies but none of us have heard of this gigantic power
grab because they own the cable companies and control the
networks that are a part of them.
Although John Bogle founded Vanguard, it is controlled by
the many uber-rich families (Rockefeller, Vanderbilt,
Orsini, Rothschild, Royal Families, Bush, du Pont, Morgan)
who own its shares. These families were always wealthy and
now hide their wealthy identities behind major corporations.
Blackrock, whose founder is Larry Fink, lends money to the
Federal Reserve or Central Bank but it is also its advisor.
It has been stated that one of the reasons why John F.
Kennedy was murdered is, besides the Bay of Pigs fiasco and
suggesting Israel be dropped from the American welfare plan,
he wanted to get rid of the Federal Reserve. The Federal
Reserve controls everything financially but, whoever
controls the Federal Reserve controls what the Federal
Reserve controls. This is why it is important for these
institutional investors to buy the most shares in companies.
Now, these financial behemoths want to become even more
aggressive and attack the average American trying to own a
home. In general, racism has made it very difficult for
Indigenous peoples & African-Americans to own land in
America or any other majority European colony. There are
statistics that indicate that young people buying homes is
8% lower than in previous generations. But, why?
People cite the increase in housing prices. Here's why this
is happening: Blackrock has been buying single-family homes
at 20% to 50% above the asking price and renting them out.
Usually, the market (people) decides the prices of homes
but, if Blackrock, Inc. owns a $325 billion dollar
portfolio, which includes over 50,000 properties then, they
are the market!
So, of course, young people are not going to buy homes
because it has become too expensive now. Unfortunately,
Blackrock, Inc, is not the only institutional investor
interested in owning real estate but, it is America's
largest landlord. Having corporations involved in land
ownership will turn America into a feudal society where the
wage-earner pays money, whichever amount is demanded, to
them. It is no accident that a growing number of Americans
can no longer afford a home.
And now, Bill Gates is the largest farm owner in America
but, that will be discussed at another time,
insha'allah.

2021, in Madinah Munawwarah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, In
shaa Allah
He was my MENTOR, who changed my life, forever. He was also
our benefactor (MUHSIN), who gave us the honor to work with
him, from 1974 to 1993 on Sahih al-Bukhari and Noble Qur'an.
He was a great man, indeed; no doubt in my mind, whatsoever.
We worked in close collaboration with Dr. Khan and helped
him with the colossal task of typesetting, printing,
publishing and distributing, worldwide, the revised editions
of SAHIH-AL-BUKHARI and NOBLE QURAN, Arabic-English, both in
9 Volumes, Paper Back and Hard Cover, under the banner of
Kazi Publications, Inc, Chicago, Illinois, United States of
America. Al-Hamdo lillahi Rabb-il-'aalameen.
My cousin, late Professor Muhammad Ikramic Siddiqui,
completed the task under his supervision. Both Sahih
al-Bukhari and Noble Quran were also published by Kazi
Publications, Lahore, Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

The Second Muslim
ENCOUNTER WITH THE WEST

By the turn of the thirteenth century and beginning of the
fourteenth century two significant things happened in and
around Eastern Europe, namely Turkey and Russia. In Turkey,
somewhere in 699-700 AH Osman, the founder of the
Caliphat-eOsmania (The West in hatred calls it Ottoman
Empire. Ottoman means foot stool) was staying with his
murshid {mentor) Edebali. One night he saw a dream in which
he saw that a moon arose from his mentor's breast and came
to sink in his own breast. A tree then sprouted from his
naval and its shade compassed the world.
Beneath this shade there were mountains and streams flowed
forth from each of the mountain, some people drank from
these running waters, others watered gardens, while yet
others caused fountains to flow. When Osman awoke he told
the story to his mentor, who said "O my son, congratulations
for God has given the imperial office to you and your
descendants and my daughter Malhoun shall be your wife".
This myth may or may not be true, but still it is alive in
Turkey. Carolyne Finkel writes in her book Osman's Dream
(about Ottoman's history) that there is documentary evidence
that a holy man known as sheikh Edebali lived at the same
time as Osman and there is some evidence that Osman married
his daughter as one of his two wives. This story is also
told by Sultan Ghalib Al-Quaiti in his book The Holy Cities
Pilgrimage and the World of Islam.
In any case as the Muslim rule started to decline in Spain,
the beginning of a new Muslim empire was made. That was the
beginning of the Muslim's second encounter with the West.
As the process of eviction of Muslim Moors began from
Southwest Europe (Spain) the Muslim Turks started to enter
Europe from the East. History records the first military
engagement in 1301 AD between the Byzantine force and troops
led by Osman at the Battle of Bapheus. Descendants of Osman
Orhan, Murad I, Bayezid I went on consolidating and
expanding their rule.
In 1389 the Serbs and their Balkan allies were defeated in
the battle of Kosovo Polje. Murad I was killed in that
battle. Bayezid I who earned the soubriquet 'Yildrim'
(thunderbolt) became the Sultan.
797 AH 1394 AH Siege of Constantinople began under his
command.
799 AH 1396 AH Bayezid Yildrim defeated and ended the final
major crusade at the city of Nicopolis on the Danube in what
is now Bulgaria.
From 1396 to 1402 Constantinople was under siege. Bayezid
had to end the siege to face Tamerlane, who attacked him
from the rear. The dispute was about a fugitive. Tamerlane
defeated Bayezid. He humiliated him, made him a footstool,
and put him in a cage. This was the turning point of the
second encounter. In addition to this mishap between1602 and
1612, and again between 1616 and 1627, Persia and Turkey
were at war, and the Persians won a number of successes.
Distracted by this struggle in the East, the Turks were
obliged in 1606 to make peace with the Austrians and once
again the advance towards Northwestern Europe (heart of
Europe) was averted.
The thrust was thwarted. The momentum was broken because of
our own rivalries, our own disunity. It took another 50
years to conquer Constantinople. Finally, Sultan Muhammed II
conquered Constantinople after 53 days of siege in May 1453
(858 AH). It was Muslim's 12th attempt to take
Constantinople over a period of 800 years. He was 21 years old.
1529 AD Suleiman the magnificent failed to conquer Vienna.
1683 AD Turks were defeated in Vienna on 11th September 1683
AD at Kahlenberg.
On 26th January 1699 AD (1110 AH), treaty of Karlowitz, was
signed between the victorious Austrians and defeated Turks.
In this treaty the Muslim Turks were once again told as in
1492, be Baptized, be killed, or leave from the south of
river Danube and Sava. That was the beginning of the end of
the Ottoman Empire. "It was the end of a threat of Islam for
almost a thousand years from the first Moorish landing in
Spain to the second Turkish siege of Vienna" wrote Bernard
Lewis in his book Islam and the West. He also wrote that
during that time Lutheran Prayer Book included a prayer
beseeching God "Save us from the evil designs of the Pope
and the terror of the Turks".
Between 1237 and 1240C.E. the Mongols conquered much of
Russia and Eastern Europe and established a state known in
Russian annals as the Khanate of the Golden Horde. Baraka
Khan, Lord of the Golden Horde from 1256-1267 accepted
Islam. He entered a close alliance with the Mamluk Sultan of
Egypt, Ruk Al-Din Baybars. The mixed Mongol and Turkish
people of his realm became a Muslim nation. They are known
in Eastern Europe as Tatars. Russia with much of Eastern
Europe was under Muslim rule from the thirteenth to the
fifteenth century. They are known in Russian annals as "The
Tatar Yolk''. Twelve years before the Muslims were driven
out of Spain in 1492, the Russians ended the Tatar Yolk
in1480 AD. Even after the breakup of the Khanate of the
Golden Horde, the successor Khanate based in Kzan, Astrakhan
and the Crimea continued to rule.
In mid sixteenth century Ivan IV the Terrible conquered the
Tatar Khanates of Kazan (1552) and Astrakhan (1556), but he
could not subdue the Crimean Tatars. The Crimean Tatars
captured Moscow in 1571 and burnt it except Kremlin. They
tried to do it again in 1591 but could not succeed.
The defeat of the Ottomans at Vienna and the treaty of
Karlowitz broke the backbone of the Ottoman Empire. So was
the defeat of Tatars by Ivan lV broke the backbone of the
Tatars. From then on it was a downhill march.
The Russians occupied the Central Asian lands of Muslims.
Russia occupied Azerbaijan in 1720, Dagestan in 1722,
Kazakhstan in 1854, Turkmenistan in 1864, Uzbekistan in1868,
Tajikistan in 1884, and Kyrgyzstan in 1895.
Elsewhere in the world, the Northwestern European Powers,
The Dutch, The English, the French, and the Italians
occupied Muslim lands. Algeria was occupied in 1830, Yemen
in 1839, Tunisia in 1881, Egypt in 1882, Sudan in 1889.
Italy annexed the Ottoman provinces of Tripolitania and
Cyrenaica in September 1911. They were united by Italian
Royal Decree on December 3, 1934, to form a single colony
renamed Libya.
Morocco was occupied in 1912. Sykes-Picot agreement divided
the territories of moribund Ottoman Empire in 1915. Sykes
and Picot (a French and a British diplomat) put the map of
Muslim Middle Eastern lands on a table and put arbitrary
lines and created new countries. They injected the cancer of
nationalism in the Muslim body politics.
730 years after the capture of Jerusalem by Salahuddin
Ayyubi, while entering Jerusalem through the Jappa gate on
December 11, 1917, British General Allenby declared that
"NOW THE CRUSADES ARE OVER". French General Gouraud had the
audacity to go to the tomb of Salahuddin Ayyubi and to kick
his grave and say, "SALAH WE ARE BACK".
On 10th August 1920 Treaty of Serves was signed and finally
the Ottoman Empire was dismembered. All Muslim lands were
occupied except four places where there was no physical
occupation. They were Afghanistan, Iran, Arabia, and Turkey.
Though there was no physical occupation in Iran, Arabia, and
Turkey; Iran was under the political influence of British
and Russians, Arabia was in the lap of the British, and
Turkey declared to abandon Islamic value system and adopt
western value system and became a hybrid state. The only one
Muslim country, which truly remained independent, was
Afghanistan. Europe covers roughly 7% of the landmass of
earth, but by 1800 it ruled 35% of the globe and by 1914 a
staggering 84%. England's King George V alone ruled a
quarter of the land surface of the planet.

At the end of the first encounter Muslim rule in Spain came
to an end. Muslim Moors were driven out of Spain. But
elsewhere in the world Muslims were enormously powerful.
Moghuls in India, Mamluks in Egypt, Safavids in Iran, and
Ottomans in Turkey.
The second encounter ended with the expulsion of Muslim
Turks after centuries of their rule in Southeastern Europe
and dismemberment and dissolution of the Ottoman Empire with
enslavement of all Muslims from Morocco to Malaysia,
In both encounters Muslims could not penetrate in
Northwestern Europe (the heart of Europe) and British Isles.
These lands remained virgin lands for lslam. In the first
encounter Muslims were stopped at Tours (France) in 732. In
the second encounter Muslims were stopped at Vienna
(Austria) in 1683.
At the end of the second encounter Islam was an unknown
entity to Western masses. Muslim presence was negligible 1n
Northwestern Europe (the heart of Europe) and British Isles.
There were no mosques in Northwestern Europe. There were
only two Mosques in British Isles, Masjid Ahuhurrara in
Cardiff, and Masjid-eShajehan in Surrey which was built in
1889.
In France there was only one called Mosque de Paris, which
was built between 1922 and 1926 as a tribute to the Muslim
soldiers (from North Africa) who died during WW1 fighting
for the French Republic.

'My husband was an angel - then he raped me'

Women in Egypt are breaking down the walls of silence
surrounding sexual abuse. Now one of the latest fightbacks
is against marital rape, an issue which until recently has
been largely taboo.

On her wedding night, 34-year-old Safaa was raped by her
husband. The attack left her with injuries to her groin,
wrist and mouth.
"I was on my period and wasn't ready to have sex that
night," she says. "My husband thought I was evading having
an intimate relationship with him. He beat me, handcuffed
me, muzzled my voice and raped me."
Safaa, however, refused to file a police report against her
husband out of fear of social stigma. Victim-blaming culture
is common here in what is a patriarchal society,
particularly if the victim is a woman.

But a turning point came in April, when a scene in a
television series called Newton's Cradle that was broadcast
during the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan showed a scene of
a husband forcing himself on his wife.
For many women, the episode evoked bad memories but it also
gave them the courage to take to social media and share
their experiences.
In a few weeks, hundreds of testimonies appeared online,
including more than 700 on a Facebook page called Speak Up.
Among them was that of 27-year-old Sanaa.
"He was an angel. One year on from our marriage, I was
pregnant and about to deliver," she says in a message to the
page. "We had a fight over a trivial thing and he decided to
punish me.
"He forced himself on me and raped me. I had a miscarriage."
Sanaa fought a lonely battle for divorce and is now
separated from her husband but continues to grieve for her baby.
Forced and violent sex is prevalent in many parts of Egypt,
particularly on the wedding night.
The growing debate about it got even more heated when an
ex-wife of a famous singer took to Instagram to tell her
alleged story of marital rape. Appearing in tears, her video
went viral and made headlines.
The husband rebuffed the allegations as "baseless" in a
video he posted on Instagram in response.
His ex-wife called for changes to the legal system to
criminalise the practice.

In its most recent study, published in January 2015, the
government-run National Council for Women (NCW) said that
each year there were on average more than 6,500 cases of
spousal violence that involved marital rape, sexual
harassment and forced sexual practices.
"Marital rape is blamed on a common culture here in Egypt
that believes that a marriage contract binds a wife to be
available for sexual intercourse 24/7," says Reda Danbouki,
a lawyer and executive director of the Women's Centre for
Guidance and Legal Awareness.
The common belief here, based on some religious
interpretations, is that if a woman refuses to have sexual
intercourse with her husband, she becomes a "sinner" and
"angels curse her all night", he adds.
To settle the debate, Dar al-Ifta, the Egyptian Islamic
advisory body which issues religious edicts, has said: "If
the husband uses violence to force his wife to sleep with
him, he is legally a sinner and the wife has the right to go
to court and file a complaint against him to get punished."
Still, the Women's Centre for Guidance and Legal Awareness
has documented 200 marital rape cases over the past two
years, mostly because of what is widely known as "first
night fear", Mr Danbouki explains.
Egyptian law does not criminalise marital rape - something
which is considered a form of sexual violence by the World
Health Organization (WHO) - and courts also find it
difficult to prove.
