Hidden in the Depths of German Leader's Book is info which
Undermines the Israeli Story.
Albert Speer Denounced Hitler but wrote Personal Notes over
Twenty Years in Prison.
by Kaukab Siddique, PhD
Spandau. The Secret Diaries by Albert Speer translated by
Richard & Clara Winston. Macmillan Publishing 1975 [trans
1976] 453 pages.
Albert Speer was the closest one could be to Hitler. He was
the chief architect for the new Germany and privy to his
leader's grandiose plans for magnificent new buildings and
cities. He also became in charge of Germany's armaments
program which he managed so well that Germany was able to
fight against incredible odds.
After Germany's defeat in 1945, ten of its top leaders were
executed. Another 7 top leaders were imprisoned for many
years. Among them was Albert Speer. He was the only one who
pleaded guilty and denounced Hitler. Nevertheless he was
sentenced to 20 years. He and six others were put into a
fortress like prison in a suburb of Berlin known as Spandau.
The four victorious powers ran the prison in rotation.
The seven top prisoners were kept in tiny cells and their
daily life was monitored and controlled in its tiniest
details.
There was no question of escape from the huge Spandau
prison. Speer completely gave up all hostility and
resistance to the victors although he was treated like trash
. The behavior of the guards, uneducated peasant types
reminds me of the way highly educated Blacks were/are often
treated by callous Whites.
Gradually Speer won the trust of the guards. They saw him as
a harmless "professor type." Also, Germans somewhat
sympathetic to the old order seemed to have been hired by
the prison authorities for menial jobs.
It's not clear how or through whom, Spear started sending
little notes about his thoughts to his wife. This process of
note writing went on for twenty years. Sometimes these were
daily notes and sometimes, under stress, he missed entire
weeks and very rarely, entire months.
The writing grew in volume and the thoughts deeper and
deeper. He knew that for his family to survive in a future,
helpless, Germany would have to detach itself from the lure
of Hitler. As a result, Speer's "diaries" are full of
denigration and condemnation of Hitler.
The major claim he makes against Hitler is
self-contradictory. He wonders again and again how an
extremely intelligent and highly cultured person like
himself could fall under the spell of a vulgar and
simplistic person like Hitler. This claim is difficult to
maintain because Speer supported Hitler not for a year or
two years but for almost a decade. How can a highly educated
person stay fooled for so long.
Analysts say that Germany fought on for two more years than
it could have because Speer's ministry was pumping out
weapons and ammunition almost to the death of Hitler.
Before we look at the most important point in Speer's book,
let's look at his intelligence and ability withing the
prison situation. He was allowed to set up a little garden
in a part of the prison yard where the other six leaders
were compelled to help him. He used mathematical ability to
determine the "distance" he could walk in the little garden.
He walked regularly and measured how far he would have gone
if he were free. So he urged the authorities to give him
travel magazines and he used them to determine how far
various places were and when would he have reached them
through his daily walks and what would he have seen there.
His calculation took him to Heidelburg, then eastern Europe
and so on, till in his imagination, over 20 years he walked
36,000 km.
No way Hitler could have fooled him.
Now remember that he was Hitler's top man, in charge of
armaments and ammunition, in addition to architecture. The
notes he was writing and sending out were secret and
confidential, written often on toilet paper. Not once did
he mention that there was a plan to exterminate the Jews
coming from Hitler himself.
And here he was imprisoned along with six others of Hitler's
top people. They discussed and debated and talked every few
days over 20 years. NOT ONCE did any discussion of the
extermination of the Jews come up.
Although he expressed total alienation from Hitler, the
other six did not agree with him although two of them were
dying of ill health. Here is a central quote from his sixth
year in prison, page 199 of the book:
"July 4, 1942. Today Raeder rebukes me with unexpected
vehemence for an innocently intended remark about Hitler's
contempt for other human beings. Schirach joins in the
rebuke; Donitz and, strangely, Funk also look on with
obvious satisfaction. Schirach in particular chides me for
disloyalty. One cannot condemn Hitler, he says for never
giving up and holding out to the last day."
There is no evidence from any of the top leaders that the
extermination of the Jews was carried out or was
planned.
There is much more in the book but I will leave it at that.

Turkish Movie Getting Unequalled Acclaim in Pakistan.
Diliris:Ertugrul, the movie story of a Turkish Islamic hero,
has won the hearts of millions of Pakistanis. PM Imran Khan
encouraged Pakistanis to see it during Ramadan. It
encourages understanding of Muslim history
and feelings for jihad.
133 million have watched it on Pakistan TV and it is
trending on youtube
Has anyone in the USA seen it?
Pakistani response, reporters say, indicates Islamic spirit
is very much alive. Secularists like Nasir Jibran are
disturbed and are attacking the film but even middle class
Pakistanis rejected his views. Jibran is the one who wanted
the Red Mosque in Islamabad to be closed down.
[Latest news is that the Turkish movie has reached around
the Muslim world with another 21 million viewers

Divine Wrath. Kashmir & India. Ventilators for Covid-19. Cotton.
by Qaiser Sharif
May 15, Ameer Jamaate Islami Pakistan, Senator Sirajul Haq,
has said that the corona virus was the manifestation of the
divine wrath over the super powers' oppression and tyranny
all around, especially against the Muslims. He was talking
to different delegations at Mansoora on Friday.
Sirajul Haq said that the worldly powers had made life
miserable for the people, especially the Muslims and had
been shedding the blood of the innocent Muslims. These
powers, he said, had been mocking at the divine teachings
and laws. They had ruined the family system by giving legal
cover to homosexuality. They had grabbed the resources of
the world through bruit force and imposed a economic system
based on interest which was a mechanism of exploitation.
This system had helped the rich to get richer while the poor
became poore
He said that when injustice and oppression grew out of
control, the law of nature would come into force and the
wrong doers were now allowed to escape. Accordingly, he
said, the worldly powers had become totally helpless against
a small virus.
The JI Chief said that bloodshed had been going on inKashmir
but the Pakistan government remained tight lipped.
There had been curfew and lock down in occupied Kashmir for
the last nine months and the Kashmiris were living in
miserable conditions. The sick were not allowed to get
medical help and people were expiring at their homes and
were not even allowed to bury their dead in the graveyards.
The Hurriat leadership had been jailed and thousands of
Kashmiri youth had been put into torture cells.
In such a situation, he said, it was the responsibility of
the Pakistan government to raise its voice at every forum.
The issue of human rights violations should be taken up with
full force so that the Kashmiris could be freed from the
Indian oppression.
LAHORE, May 15; Deputy chief of the Jamaat e Islami, Liaqat
Baloch, has said that the masses' reservations regarding the
corona patients were increasing as the patients suffering
from cancer and other disease were also being declared as
corona patients. He called for setting up a national
commission to probe into the fact in this respect.
He was speaking at a ceremony at which the Al-Khidmat
Foundation Lahore donated eight ventilators to the Surriya
Azeem hospital.
M. S. Mansoora Hospital, Dr Anwar Bilgrami, M.S. Surriya
Azeem Hospital Dr Arbab Alam, and Lahore chief of the
Al-Khidmat Foundation Abdul Azeez Abid, were present on the
occasion.
Liaqat Baloch said that corona was spreading with full
speed. He said the people were unclear about a smart lock
down. Nobody would believe that at a time when the corona
patients were only 400, the lock down had been strict but
now when the corona patients had reached 40,000, lock down
had been eased. The people, he said, were linking the corona
with government's hidden agenda and foreign aid.
Meanwhile, a Kisan Board delegation called on the JI deputy
chief and apprised him of their problems. Speaking on the
occasion, Liaqat Baloch said that the governments had been
announcing different packages for the kisans and agriculture
but the kisans did not benefit from these. The growers, he
said, were left high and dry at the time of procurement of
their crops wheat, rice and sugar cane.
Liaqat Baloch suggested that the agriculture policy should
aim at the small farmers. He said that the growers'
confidence would increase with the announcement of the
procurement price of cotton. He said that the tariff of
agriculture tube wells was very high, and units of the Urea
fertilizer were lying closed. There was danger of shortage
of urea.
He urged the government to immediately arrange the
procurement of two million bales of cotton to facilitate the
growers.

Afghanistan
A Day of Savagery.
May 12. A maternity hospital was attacked in Kabul. In the
indiscriminate shooting at least 24 people were killed and
16 injured. The dead included 2 infants and four mothers.
No one has taken responsibility as the BBC noted. The three
attackers were killed by security forces who rescued 100
women and children from the hospital.
However some media are trying to attribute it to ISIS though
there is no investigation and no claim. Any atrocity can be
attributed to ISIS who already have a bad name in Zionist
media.
New Trend observers say probably India and Russia are
involved because they want to disrupt peace in Afghanistan
which is emerging owing to US-Taliban negotiation.
Some media known for their efforts against Islam attributed
the attack to Taliban though Taliban have stated
categorically that they had nothing to do with it.
New Trend's observers say that this horrible crime against a
maternity hospital was meant to smear the name of the
Taliban. Noticeably the Kabul regime came out with the
statement that they will now attack the Taliban. The Kabul
regime is worried about its survival if the American forces
withdraw.
In a second attack on May 12 in Nangarhar province a
military funeral was targeted. It was the funeral of a Kabul
regime military commander who had been waging war against
ISIS and ISIS claimed it right away. 32 were killed and 113
injured. This was done by a human bomber, a typical ISIS
attack.
The same day a US air strike killed 10 civilians and injured
many in Balkh province in northern Afghanistan. It has been
marginally noticed in the media. The Kabul regime tried to
justify the attack by saying the attack was aimed at Taliban
militants. [BBC]

In retalation, pro-Turkish Syrians opened machine gun fire
on two Assad positions on the border of Idlib.
North central Syria. In the Ain Issa area and near el-Bab,
Syrian militia supporting Turkey opened fire on Kurdish Communist groups.
In the South, Deraa province, there was a mass rally in the
main city which condemned the regime of Assad and called for
his overthrow.
Smaller anti-Assad rallies were held in 4 other towns.
In western Deraa province, Assad has sent military units on
the appearance of armed opposition to his regime.
Assad regime exchanged 4 al-Nusra prisoners with an Assad
colonel and a soldier.
Asma Assad
An extensive report has been published on line exposing Asma Assad,
known as Assad's "sunni" wife. The report indicates that she
is very
westernized and as dictatorial as her husband. The source
seems to be the Makhlouf family, Assad's cousins, who are
being uncovered by the regime for their exploitation of the
war situation.

Comedian Bill Maher Ignoring Women's Rights to Support
Sleepy Joe Biden.
[New Trend observer.]
Bill Maher has consistently attacked religion, in particular
Islam. Now he is supporting Joe Biden to the extent of
claiming that Tara Reade's charges of sexual molestation
against sleepy Joe Biden should be ignored.
First Democrats ganged up to defeat Bernie Sanders and now
want to support Biden regardless of decency and
morality.
See how cleverly Maher made a name for himself as a comedian
although he is hell bent against religion. Now he is lining
up with Biden regardless of women's rights, and the me-too
movement is silent. You can bet that his heart is with that
entity which daily commits horrible crimes against
Palestinians.

Islamic Call to Prayer heard all over Canada
by Laura Osman [Courtesy the Canadian Press.]
[Excerpted.]
OTTAWA — The Al Rashid Mosque has stood in Edmonton
since 1938, but no one there today can remember ever hearing
the daily call to prayer ring out through the
loudspeakers.
Usually the musical chant that ushers Muslims into their
house of worship for prayer is prohibited under city noise
bylaws.
But across Canada, cities are allowing the call, or adhan,
during the COVID-19 crisis, during the Muslim holy month of
Ramadan.
Ottawa, Toronto, Hamilton, London, Edmonton, Calgary,
Vancouver and other major cities have all made exemptions to
the usual rules.
The Al Rashid, Canada's oldest mosque, livestreams the call
online every evening for thousands of people who cannot be
there in person.
Crisis Won't Stop Muslim Canadians From Making Ramadan
Special
Some parents have been bringing their children to stand
outside the mosque at sundown to hear the call and share the
experience they never expected to pass on in Canada.
Some who worship there grew up in countries where Islam is
the dominant religion. For them, the sound transports them
back to their own childhood, where the adhan was heard
ringing through local neighbourhoods five times each
day.
For some who grew up in Canada never hearing the adhan in
their communities, the experience has been
transformative.

Ramadhaan and Fridays
by Asma bint Shameem
[Houston, Texas]
QUESTION: I have heard that if I buy/wear NEW clothes in
Ramadhaan especially on Fridays, there will be no 'hisaab'
or 'accountability'. Is that true?
ANSWER: That is a very common misconception especially among
the women from the Subcontinent and it's absolutely NOT
true. Some people buy new clothes and wear them especially
on a Friday in Ramadhaan thinking there will be no
accountability for buying/wearing those clothes just because
they wore them in Ramadhaan and especially on Friday.
Some even buy their ENTIRE WARDROBE for the YEAR in
Ramadhaan based on this misconception. But there's
absolutely NO PROOF in the Sharee'ah for believing something
like this.
There's NO Aayah in the Qur'aan that says that. There's NO
authentic hadeeth that says that. *Nothing*. Actually, the
Prophet sal Allaahu Alayhi wa sallam has told us that we
WILL be accountable for the blessings that Allaah has
bestowed upon us. And he forbade pride and extravagance. So
we must be very clear that we WILL be answerable for EVERY
BLESSING that we have from Allaah Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala.
We're answerable for the WEALTH we possess; how we EARNED it
and how we SPENT it. And our clothes are PART of our wealth.
And it DOESN'T matter if we used the wealth in Ramadhaan or
not.
The Prophet sal Allaahu Alayhi wa sallam said: "A person's
feet will not move on, on the Day of Resurrection, until he
is questioned about
his life and how he spent it,
about his knowledge and what he did with it,
about his WEALTH, from where he acquired it and on what he spent it,and
about his body and for what he wore it out." (at-Tirmidhi
-saheeh by al-Albaani)
And he said: "Verily, the first thing a servant will be
asked about on the Day of Resurrection will be his
blessings." (al-Tirmidhī 3358; saheeh by
al-Albaani)
And clothes are part of our blessings.Ibn al-Qayyim said:
"Qataadah said: Allaah will ask each person about what He
bestowed upon him of His blessings and whether he fulfilled
His rights over him. The blessings that will be asked about
are of two types:
those that he acquired by PERMISSIBLE means and disposed of
in lawful ways:he will be asked about whether he gave thanks
for them;
those that he acquired by PROHIBITED means and disposed of
in unlawful ways: he will be asked about how he acquired
them and how he disposed of them." [Ighaathat al-Lahfaan
(1/84)]
So there's NOTHING in the Sharee'ah that says that the
"clothes" bought or worn in Ramadhaan will not be asked
about. And that goes for ALL the blessings of Allaah.
Someone asked Shaikh Assim al-Hakeem: "Is there any
significance on wearing "new" clothes on friday in
Islaam?
He said: "There's NO significance of wearing NEW clothes on
Friday,
rather it's recommended to wear one's BEST clothes for
Friday prayer."
Bottom line:
You may wear NEW clothes in Ramadhaan.
You may wear OLD clothes in Ramadhaan.
You can wear whatever you like.
Just be moderate and don't think that there's "no
accountability" for the new clothes you buy or wear in this
month.
This [buying or wearing new clothes in Ramadhaan especially
on Fridays, there will be no 'hisaab' or 'accountability']
is a *MISCONCEPTION* that we need to get rid of.
And Allaah knows best
Guidance from Sis. Yasmin.
Coronavirus: Through the lens of a Qur'anic parable.
~by: Dr. Tawheed Hameed~
The Qur'ān is a book revealed to us by our Creator to
guide mankind
to that which is right and best for each and every soul. It
teaches us to differentiate between good and evil, to rely
on and worship a supreme single being, and to view our
earthly lives as mere precursors to the everlasting and
eternal afterlife.
Allāh (subḥānahu wa taʿālā)
puts forward many parables in the Glorious Qur'ān for
us to reflect over. A parable is a type of metaphorical
analogy, which in simple terms is an example put forward to
compare one expression or state to another. Allāh
(subḥānahu wa taʿālā) presents
many verses in the Qur'ān of this nature (known as
amthāl) to provide clarity and insight when explaining
things to mankind. These verses appeal to the intellect of
human beings to challenge and inspire them to fully
comprehend and ponder His divine message.
In the Qur'ān, Allāh (subḥānahu wa
taʿālā) says:
"The example of [this] worldly life is like rain which We
have sent down from the sky that the plants of the earth
absorb - [those] from which men and livestock eat - until,
when the earth has taken on its adornment and is beautified
and its people suppose that they have complete capability
over it, there comes to it Our command, by night or by day,
and We make it as a harvest, as if it had not flourished
yesterday (barren). Thus do We explain in detail the signs
for a people who give thought."
[ Al-Qur'ān, Surat Yunus~ 10:24 ]
In this beautiful verse, Allāh (subḥānahu wa
taʿālā) puts forward the example of a land
upon which rain falls, causing it to sprout vegetation and
its plants to grow and attain perfection and visual beauty.
Those who have control of this garden become so impressed
with its splendour that they are deceived into thinking that
they have complete power and indisputable ownership over it.
Disaster strikes: Allāh's (subḥānahu wa
taʿālā) command comes down on this garden, at
a time chosen by Allāh (subḥānahu wa
taʿālā) alone, rendering this once beautiful
land completely barren, as if nothing had ever flourished
from it prior to this destruction.
This example is compared to that of our worldly life, a life
that appears beautiful in the eye of the beholder. It is
amazing and dazzling in its splendor, inclining mankind to
develop a desire and yearning for it. But this desire leads
to being deceived, where mankind reaches a stage where he
thinks he possesses it and has free reign over it.
Suddenly, however, this world is snatched away from him when
he needs it most, and a barrier is cast between him and the
world he so deeply longs for.
The beauty of the Qur'ān is that this parable, along
with others, can be applied to the many trials and
tribulations that Muslims have gone through in the 1441
years since its revelation.
It is a truly timeless and inspirational book of
guidance.
The world has been taken over by an invisible enemy,
affecting rich and poor, young and old, white and black. It
has cemented itself at the forefront of our minds. COVID-19,
at the time of writing this article, has claimed over 30,000
lives. It has crashed numerous economies, abruptly halted
global tourism, and has left thousands of people jobless and
financially struggling. Such is the fragility of the world
to which we cling so dearly; an enemy that has only been
around for approximately 4 months has bought the great
indestructible worldly system to its knees. Those who,
through perpetual sinning or a disregard for the afterlife,
have become complacent enough to feel that calamity will
never strike them have now been swiftly humbled by this
virus. Much like the owners of the land presented in the
Quranic passage above, a command of Allāh
(subḥānahu wa taʿālā) has come, by
night or by day, and that which once flourished has, in the
blink of an eye, perished beyond recognition.
This poignant and profound analogy provides us with a sense
of perspective through which we should view this current
test we are all living through. This world is temporary; its
fame, beauty, and riches are temporary in nature and can be
taken away from our hands in an instant. The last few
dramatic weeks have taught us this lesson in no uncertain
terms. To attach our hearts to it is therefore a manifest
error, for this world is by its very nature subject to
misfortune and calamity. Whether it is a war, a pandemic, or
an earthquake, this world will be fragile and vulnerable for
as long as it exists.
This virus will pass soon inshāAllāh, but the
lasting effect will remain for generations to come. The
lasting effect on a Muslim however should be that of
self-reformation, motivated by the knowledge that whatever
we cherish and value in this world will eventually perish.
The virus may come and go, but its legacy is to motivate us
to do more good, to be more obedient of Allāh
(subḥānahu wa taʿālā), to be more
aware of the afterlife, and to reduce our attachment to this
passing worldly life.
The virus has made us think twice before sinning, increasing
our attachment to the Qur'ān and filling our hearts
with a greater awe and veneration for our Lord. The virus
has developed within us a love for the masjid allowing us to
long for it. The virus will, when all is said and done, make
us better Muslims.
This virus has a deep and meaningful lesson for us during
these testing times, for those of us that choose to reflect.
Paradise is safe and secure; it is not subject to any
misfortunes. It is an eternal abode of peace and
tranquility, which is why immediately after putting forward
the above parable, Allāh (subḥānahu wa
taʿālā) says:
"Allāh calls to the Home of Peace (Paradise) and guides
whom He wills to the straight path." [ Al-Qur'ān,
Surat Yunus~ 10:25 ]
The pain and suffering is temporary, but the glory is
forever.
May Allāh (subḥānahu wa
taʿālā) grant us the strength to
persevere
through the current challenges we face. May He grant us the
strength to use this challenge as a means of spiritual
reformation and swiftly remove the difficulties we face.

Hadith of the Week
Narrated by Abu Huraira, r.a.:
Allah's Apostle was asked, "What is the best deed?" He
replied, "To believe in Allah and His Apostle
(Muhammad).
The questioner then asked, "What is the next (in
goodness)?
He replied, "To participate in Jihad (religious fighting) in
Allah's Cause."
The questioner again asked, "What is the next (in
goodness)?"
He replied, "To perform Hajj (Pilgrim age to Mecca) 'Mubrur,
(which is accepted by Allah and is performed with the
intention of seeking Allah's pleasure only and not to show
off and without committing a sin and in accordance with the
traditions of the Prophet)."

New York Governor and Dystopian Society
by Sis. Aisha
[Jamaat al-Muslimeen]
New York City - According to an article by Rutgers
University Prof. Naomi Klein, a senior correspondent for The
Intercept, Governor Andrew Cuomo (NY) is trying to build a
dystopian society ruled by artificial intelligence (AI). A
dystopia is an undesirable, oppressed society as opposed to
a utopia, which is a peaceful, thriving society.
In her article, titled: "Screen New Deal: Under Cover of
Mass Death, Andrew Cuomo Calls in the Billionaires to Build
a High-Tech Dystopia." Klein details Gov. Cuomo's efforts to
create a network that includes Michael Bloomberg, who will
contribute testing and tracing, for the purpose of
implementing an automated, faceless society.
This time New York State is taking charge although the tech
industry is located in California's Silicon Valley.
Eric Schmidt, executive chairman of Google's parent company,
Alphabet, is at the helm. He is blowing his trumpet the
loudest in his efforts to make tele-health, remote
schooling, cashless payment options, driverless automobiles
a thing of the future. This past April, at a the Economic
Club of New York, he referred to the remote learning that
many parents, teachers, and school children have been forced
into, as a result of this Scare, as an experiment.
The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is also one of the
"philanthropic" organizations to join in this so-called
dystopian effort. This organization is heavily invested in
pharmaceutical companies. Bill Gates also believes in using
technology to track people with certain diseases and
believes that vaccination is the only solution to treating
diseases.
Before the Coronavirus Scare, many of these measures, such
as tele-health where doctors treat patients via screen
rather than in-person, were heavily criticized by privacy
experts. But, now that people are afraid of dying of the
coronavirus they, including politicians, are willing to
ignore their own privacy rights and support funding these
once controversial tech projects. Satan rules by fear of
loss (Qur'an 2:268).
The Coronavirus Scare is being used to get the American
people to support these measures but, protecting American
health is not the focus here. Eric Schmidt's leverage with
politicos is the fact that China is outperforming the U.S.
technologically and economically.
In Naomi Klein's article, it is referred to as "yellow peril
alarm." This threat of China's dominance is enough to
motivate American businessmen and politicians to push for
the AI agenda. What is scary is that Eric Schmidt's platform
states that China's dominance is rooted in its disregard for
privacy and human rights and that if America wants to
overtake China, it has to engage in those same
violations.
As children we watched the Superfriends vs the Legion of
Doom or the Jetsons cartoons. Well, those children are now
grown and are trying to create a society like the ones
featured in those cartoons.
The ultimate goal of these billionaire panel is to replace
the teachers, doctors, and workforce with artificial
intelligence. Right now, in America, cash is still king but
for how long? There are businesses (i.e. Shake Shack) that
are not using cash transactions, right now. However, that is
economic discrimination and may lead to lawsuits.
It seems that AI is making a strong push to invade every
aspect of our lives but, will other activists, such as the
ACLU, stay mum during this pandemic or take legal action to
stop it.
Astute Americans are able to see through this thin veil of
concern demonstrated by these politicians in the form of
shelters-in-place or some other measure and question it. It
is realism, not cynicism.

Israeli Forces Disperse Nakba Day Protest in Ramallah, Injure Five Palestinians
At least five Palestinians on Friday suffocated from tear
gas bombs fired by Israeli forces in the northern occupied
West Bank, during a protest to commemorate the 72nd
anniversary of the Palestinian Nakba (Catastrophe), which is
annually marked on May 15.
Eyewitnesses told Anadolu Agency that the Israeli army
dispersed a protest held by Palestinians in the town of
As-Sawiya against a decision by Israeli officials to
confiscate lands from the town to expand nearby Jewish
settlements.
Palestinian medical teams in the town said they treated five
protesters affected by tear gas.
The residents of As-Sawiya organized demonstrations for a
second week to protest the decision.
Between 500,000 and 600,000 Israelis live in Jewish-only
settlements across occupied East Jerusalem and the West Bank
in violation of international law.
Under international law, Jewish settlements constructed in
the Occupied Palestinian Territories constitute a violation
of international law and are considered illegal.

Blasphemer Testing Muslim Patience
By Abdulkabir Oyemomi
That a northerner chooses any religion of his choice has
never been a big deal; that anyone says whatever he likes is
not an issue, as long as it does not encroach on the right
of others. What is new in the socio-political space of the
country is the subtle fight against Islam from all fronts
and lawlessness or twists to the legal standpoints thereto
.
Even if one chooses to look away from perspective that
criminal matters in the northern Nigeria are adjudicated
upon mostly through the instrument of law referred to as
penal code. Penal code is actually fashioned out from
Islamic criminal laws, even though one can argue it is less
serious than the original Islamic criminal law. The purpose
is such that it can cater for the states where Muslims are
predominantly in the majority. But let us not go for penal
code!
The customary system under section 204 of Nigeria's Criminal
Code entitled " insult to religion" provides that:
" Any person who does an act which any class of persons
consider as public insult on their religion, with the
intention that they should consider the act such an insult,
and any person who does unlawful act with the knowledge that
any class of persons will consider it such an insult, is
guilty of a misdemeanor, and is liable to imprisonment for
two years."
Bala Mubarak on April 26,2020 shared this on his Facebook
wall in Hausa Language what means: "There is no difference
between the Prophet TB Joshua (s.a.w) of Lagos and Muhammed
(A.S) of Saudi Arabia, it is better for our Nigeria to be
terrorism."
TB Joshua refers to a Lagos based evangelical pastor who is
known to be grossly controversial with many imputations of
criminal and fraudulent acts .
Mubarak went back after the expected hues and cries
following his previous post to write, " if you can't take
blasphemy against Islam, criticism of its doctrines, this
page is not for you..."
If we marry all these quotations together with the provision
of the criminal law earlier quoted, the debate from all
right thinking discussants- bloggers, journalists, lawyers -
ought to be premised on the punishment for Bala Mubarak. But
unfortunately, failed bloggers like Sahara Reporters was
only able to cry against the death threat from a police
officer identified as Abdulsamad Adamu.
Sahara Reporters, an online newspaper reported that Bala has
been receiving death threats "from extremists".
Blasphemy is an offense punishable in both customary
(secular) and Sharia court system in Nigeria but
sympathizers against Islam are always blind of what laws
provide when any matter bothers on Islam. This include
lawyers, especially those that go with the garb of human
rights activism.
Like I have written in my many articles here , let it be
known to the whole world that Muslims that are really
particular about pristine Islam are under untoward
psychological and physical persecutions.
