Hadith of the Week
Narrated by Abu Huraira, r.a.:
The Prophet said,
"Allah created the creations, and when He finished from His
creations, Ar-Rahm i.e., womb said, "(O Allah) at this place
I seek refuge with You from all those who sever me (i.e.
sever the ties of Kith and kin). Allah said, 'Yes, won't
you be pleased that I will keep good relations with the one
who will keep good relations with you, and I will sever the
relation with the one who will sever the relations with
you.'
I said, 'Yes, O my Lord.' Allah said, 'Then that is for you
'
" Allah's Apostle added. "Read (in the Qur'an) if you wish,
the Statement of Allah: 'Would you then, if you were given
the authority, do mischief in the land and sever your ties
of kinship?' (47.22)

Gaza Strip: Israeli army injures 77 Palestinians
The Palestinian Health Ministry announced that 77
Palestinians were injured on Friday evening as a result of
the Israeli army assault on the weekly marches in the
eastern Gaza Strip, reports Anadolu Agency.
The ministry said in a statement that 31 of the wounded were
hit by live bullets.
Since the Gaza rallies began in March last year, more than
320 protesters have been killed - and thousands more wounded
- by Israeli troops deployed near the buffer zone.
Demonstrators demand an end to Israel's 12-year blockade of
the Gaza Strip, which has shattered the coastal enclave's
economy and deprived its two million inhabitants of many
basic amenities.
Jamaat al-Muslimeen
Reached out to Most Non-Political Masjid.
On October 25, a 4-page
Jamaat al-Muslimeen document was given to 103 Muslims after
juma'. Almost all of them were well-to-do immigrants from
India, Pakistan and various Arab countries with a few
Africans.
This masjid is constantly collecting funds, thus draining
the ummah of funds badly needed to help oppressed people and
the most needy.
Their million-dollar parking lot was packed with late model
shiny cars.
The building is fancy but the khutba was high school level.
Outside, a few poor Muslim women were begging for charity.
They are not allowed to enter the masjid.
Somehow our Jamaat skirted the security and reached 103
people.

"KIDNAP FOR CHRIST" AND MEDIA SILENCE
By Abdulkabir Oyemomi
Many stories of kidnap have been wrongly and rightly
attributed to Fulani herdsmen by the Nigeria Media in the
recent past so as to tacitly indict Muslims and Islam. No
Muslim group has ever condoned such dastardly acts if
eventually found out that Muslims are responsible for same.
The stories are always opposite if same happens to a
Christian!
On the 11th of October,2019, some nine (9) children were
rescued by the police in onitsha, a southern part of Nigeria
(Anambra State).
The children were reliably reportedly kidnapped from Kano
State, a core Northern Nigeria and stronghold of Islam and
converted to Christianity against the knowledge of their
parents.
When this news broke, it was the social media that made the
deserved wide noise of the ugly revelations and the popular
media houses were left with no choice than to lend their
very feeble voice in reporting same. It later came to
knowledge of all and sundry that many children have been
found missing for a very long time in Kano and some other
neighbouring towns .
The leadership of Christendom in Nigeria in their usual
defenseless defense came out belatedly to claim that there
is no such thing as as ' Kidnap for Christ' ,an open secret
development in the South.
Parents have been warned to ensure that they are kept
abreast of the movements of their children as most parents
in this part of Nigeria are known for negligence concerning
their children.

Question: According to Bukhari's sahih, Ayesha, r.a. was a
child when the Prophet (pbuh) married her. This version is
generally accepted by Muslims because it is in Buhkari. What
is your understanding of her age?
Answer by Dr. Kaukab Siddique:
There is no Hadith about the age of Ayesha,r,a.
Lack of knowledge leads to defense of non-issues
In 1986 I wrote an article which showed that the narrative
about the age of the wife of the Prophet, pbuh, Ayesha
Siddiqa, r.a., which is published in Imam Bukhari's Sahih,
is contradicted by many other narratives in books of hadith.
It was the first article in English on the subject in
America and was well liked by people who wanted to
contradict the attacks of the Perwaizi sect and answer the
abuse by neo-cons like General Boykin and Spencer.
Many people published my article, often with minor changes,
but without noting that they had gotten it from me, thus
contradicting the first rule of Hadith that you must give
your source.
As I have continued my hadith studies, I have found that
there is NO hadith from the Prophet, pbuh, giving the age of
Ayesha, r.a., when he married her. Bukhari himself does not
say that the narrative in his book about her age is from the
Prophet, pbuh. His book has so much prestige that we took it
or granted that whatever is in his book must be from the
Prophet, pbuh. It is not and he does not say it is.
A hadith of the Prophet, pbuh, is about what he said, did or
approved of or is about his qualities.. [1] None of these
three aspects relate to the narrative about the age of
Ayesha, r.a.
Even a hadith which is from the Prophet, pbuh, but is not
narrated by a sahabi [Companion of the Prophet, pbuh] but is
from a taba'i, [generation after the Sahaba], is called
MURSAL and lacks authenticity and does not have HUJJAT
[religious acceptability] in Islam.[2]. The only exceptions
are Taba'i narrators who had met numerous sahaba. [3]
What is important about Ayesha, r.a. is that the Prophet,
pbuh, loved her and died in her arms.[4] She was a scholar,
teacher, faqih, leader, orator, fighter and pious beyond all
requirements. The verses of the Qur'an which defend her and
reveal Islamic laws owing to her actions, show that she was
a person of great mental and spiritual maturity.
She opposed Ali, r.a., and Abu Huraira, r.a., in a number of
matters, but not in totality, and this has led to sectarian
propaganda being aimed at her.
The issue of her age is meant to trivialize her
significance.
We fell into the trap. The Mother of the Believers needs no
defense. May Allah forgive our sins and shortcomings.

PAKISTAN
KARACHI: The Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) kicked off
Azadi March from Karachi on Sunday after a speech from
Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Kashmir Black Day.
The caravan lead by the JUI-F chief proceeded to the Super
Highway (M9) after smaller demonstrations from all over the
city converged at Sohrab Goth where the political leaders
spoke about Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir.
PPP's Raza Rabbani and Saeed Ghani welcomed the participants
of the rally. Addressing the crowd, Rabbani said he was here
on instructions of party chairman Bilawal Bhutto, and that
the PPP workers and supporters will welcome the
marchers.
Former Sindh governer and senior PML-N leader Muhammad
Zubair also spoke on the occasion.
A large number of buses and other vehicles were hired to
transport the participants of Azadi March. A senior JUI-F
leader said that the number of buses had already crossed
400.
The participants of Azadi March from across the country will
gather near Tarnol before entering Islamabad on October
31.
Govt-opposition deal on venue
The negotiations between the Rahbar Committee of the
opposition parties and the government were successful on
Saturday as the JUI-F agreed to hold protest demonstration
at the end of Azadi March at Peshawar Morr in Islamabad.
"The Rahbar Committee of the opposition has agreed that the
Azadi March will not enter the Red Zone and will hold its
public meeting at the venue decided by the government,"
Defence Minister Pervaiz Khattak, who heads the government's
negotiating team, said at a news conference after talks with
the Rahbar Committee.
Moreover, Akram Durrani, convenor of Rahbar Committee, said
the opposition parties would stage the Azadi March on roads
instead of staging a sit-in at Red Zone in the federal
capital.
"We would not stage a 126-day sit-in like that of the PTI.
We would look into the situation and decide our future line
of action. Our demands are the same including, securing the
resignation of the prime minister, holding fair and free
general elections and protection to the Islamic clauses in
the Constitution," he said
Massive Rally for Kashmir in Gujrat
by QaiserSharif
Gujrat October 27: Jamaat-e-Islami chief Senator Sirajul Haq
has said that the government would have not needed digging
the trenches around Islamabad, had it fought the case of
Kashmir with sincerity and courage.
"The rulers are facing the wrath of the people because they
betrayed the people of Kashmir," said Emir Jamaat while
addressing a "Kashmir Freedom March" in Gujrat on
Sunday.
A large number of people holding placards and banned took
part in rally and expressed solidarity with their Kashmir
brethren. The participants included women and children.
JI Secretary General Ameerul Azim and JI Northern Punjab
chapter Emir Dr Tariq Salim also addressed on occasion.
"The fight for Kashmir cause is actually a fight to protect
the sovereignty of Pakistan," said Siraj, adding Kashmir was
matter of life and death to the country.
He said more than a month was passed to the prime minister
speech at the UNGA but the world had done nothing in support
of the besieged people. Therefore, he added, the JI was
saying it from the day first that it was only Pakistan which
ultimately was to fight the Kashmir case. Hence, he said,
only brave step was needed from the government because
India's next target was Muzaffarabad if it was not stopped
in Sri Nagar. The world, he added, never came in support of
the weak.
He said the IHK was turned into a largest prison of the
world with more than eight million of Kashmiris were
spending a life of prisoners for 85 days.
"I want to tell the prime minister that speeches alone won't
work on Kashmir rather people are demanding brave and
decisive steps."
Siraj expressed regret and anger over the silence of the UNO
and international community on Kashmir. He said Indian
forces unleashed a worst violence on the people of the held
area. Women were being kidnapped and law of jungle prevailed
in the valley but the world was acting as silent spectator
and no one was asking New Delhi to stop genocide of
Kashmiris in occupied territory, he regretted.
Ameerul Azim thanked the people of Gujrat for participating
in the rally, saying the every Pakistani was standing by the
Kashmiris in this testing time. However, he added, only
rulers were silent and showing no courage for Kashmir cause.
He said it seemed that the government had already accepted
the Indian hegemony in the region and lacked courage to act
against the occupied forces.
He assured the Kashmiris that people of Pakistan will never
leave them alone.

CHINA
A Muslim woman who escaped from a state "re-education" camp
in China has said inmates were gang raped, subjected to
torture and medical experiments and forced to eat pork.
Sayragul Sauytbay, a Chinese Muslim of Kazakh descent, said
she was detained by the state in November 2017.
The 43-year-old teacher was escorted by armed men to a camp,
where she was held for several months, according to
Haaretz.
She was ordered to teach inmates Chinese. "It was forbidden
to speak with the prisoners, forbidden to laugh, forbidden
to cry and forbidden to answer questions from anyone," she
said.
"There were almost 20 people in a room of 16 square meters.
There were cameras in their rooms, too, and also in the
corridor. Each room had a plastic bucket for a toilet. Every
prisoner was given two minutes a day to use the toilet, and
the bucket was emptied only once a day."
Ms Sautybay said women were systematically raped and that
she was forced to watch a woman be repeatedly assaulted.
"The policemen ordered her to disrobe and simply raped her
one after the other, in front of everyone," she told
Haaretz.
"While they were raping her they checked to see how we were
reacting. People who turned their head or closed their eyes,
and those who looked angry or shocked, were taken away and
we never saw them again.
"On an everyday basis the policemen took the pretty girls
with them, and they didn't come back to the rooms all
night."
Ms Satuybay said that as well as torture, prisoners were
also subjected to mysterious human experiments.
"The inmates would be given pills or injections," she said.
"[They] had different kinds of effects. Some prisoners were
cognitively weakened. Women stopped getting their period and
men became sterile."
The 43-year-old was instructed to teach the prisoners
Communist Party propaganda songs and slogans. As a camp
teacher she avoided the very worst of the alleged
conditions. The inmates were forced to recite slogans
such as: "I love China," "Thank you to the Communist Party,"
"I am Chinese" and "I love Xi Jinping".
Ms Sautybay also said that all inmates, including observant
Muslim prisoners, were forced to eat pork.
"The food was bad, there weren't enough hours for sleep and
the hygiene was atrocious,"
"The world must find a solution so that my people can live
in peace," she said. "The democratic governments must do
all they can to make China stop doing what it is doing in
Xinjiang."
Beijing has denied the 43-year-old's allegations.

Single shooter: 2 die as at least 12 people shot near Texas
college town of Commerce.
Two people died after at least 12 were shot at a party about
midnight Saturday near Greenville as nearby Texas A&M
University Commerce celebrated homecoming weekend.
Four other people were hurt, but Hunt County Sheriff Randy
Meeks did not detail their injuries. He did say some people
had been hurt by broken glass as they tried to escape
through The Party Venue's windows.
Authorities said they were looking for a single gunman but
had not identified a suspect and had not received a detailed
description of the person from witnesses. Meeks said he did
not believe the public was in any danger.
The first person the gunman shot may have been his intended
target and the rest of the victims may have been randomly
fired upon, the sheriff said.
"The amount of people that were there, the overcrowdedness
of it — it gave the opportunity for this shooter to be
able to accomplish whatever he wanted to be able to
accomplish," Meeks said. "When you have this many people in
one place, it's an easy target for somebody."
Hunt County deputies had been outside the party because of
complaints about illegal parking. They were questioning a
person outside the front of the venue who they believed was
intoxicated when the shooting began about 20 minutes after
they arrived. One off-duty Farmersville ISD police officer
also had been at the venue working security at the
party.
Deputies heard gunshots coming from the back of the building
but could not tell at first whether the shots were fired
from inside or outside, Hunt County Chief Deputy Buddy
Oxford said.
Authorities found the two men who had been killed inside the
building.
The gunman fled during the commotion, and witnesses had not
given authorities a detailed description of him or any
suspect vehicle.
"It appalls me that, as many folks that were there, [they]
have not been able to give us a better description of the
shooter," Meeks said. "We need to get him off the street as
soon as possible, and we have very, very little to go on
right now," he said.

casualties including a child, 2 women, and first-rank ISIS
leader.
8 US Helicopters and a jet attacked a small Islamic State
compound in northmost Irbid Province.
The fight back continued for 120 Minutes. Neither
al-Baghdadi nor IS fighters were running. {Compare this
account by a neutral body, Syrian Observatory for Human
Rights, SOHR, with a track record of accurate reporting,
with Trump's claims of military glory against a soft
target.]
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights continues to keep up
with the events that took place in Barisha area north of
Idlib city on Saturday evening, where reliable sources told
the Syrian Observatory that the "CIA and Autonomous
Administration's intelligence in north and northeast Syria"
had intelligence information about the presence of leaders
of the first-ranks of the " Islamic State" Organization in
Barisha area, among them is Abu al-Yaman, who is an "Emir of
Security Forces in the Levant" and close to al-Baghdadi and
appeared next to him in the latest Video version of
al-Baghdadi, while sources added to the Syrian Observatory
that the operation was delayed despite the presence of
strong intelligence; due to the launch of "Peace Spring"
operation east Euphrates.
Going back to details of what happened last night, the U.S.
helicopters which came from inside the Turkish territory,
carried out a landing in the area and clashed with those how

north of Idlib city just after midnight of yesterday, where
the helicopters targeted the Organizations' positions by
intense and violent strikes for about 120 minutes,
accompanied by targeting by the Jihadis for the helicopters
with heavy weapons, and the Syrian Observatory documented
the death of 9 people in the attack of the Coalition
helicopters, and it is not known yet whether Abu Bakr

*PROPHET* (sal Allahu 'alaihi wa sallam) said: "Keep away from ill-thinking/suspicions because ill-thinking
is the greatest falsehood." [ Source~ Sahih Bukhari]
Commentary: During the Abbasid period one of the scholars in
Baghdad was greeted by an acquaintance who said...
"Do you know what I just heard about your friend...?"
The Scholar: "Hold on a minute, before telling me anything
I'd like you to pass a little test. It's called the Triple
Filter Test."
The Man: "Triple Filter Test ?"
The Scholar: "That's right, before you talk to me about my
friend it might be a good idea to take a moment and filter
what you're going to say.
That's why I call it the triple filter test. The first
filter is Truth.
Have you made absolutely sure that what you are about to
tell me is true?
The Man: "No, actually I just heard about it and ..."
The Scholar: "All right, so you don't really know if it's
true or not.
Now let's try the second filter... The filter of
Goodness.
"Is what you are about to tell me about my friend something
good ? "
The Man: "No, on the contrary..."
The Scholar: "So, you want to tell me something bad about
him,
but you're not certain it's true. You may still pass the
test though,
because there's one filter left: The filter of Usefulness.
"Is what you want
to tell me about my friend going to be useful to me?"
The Man: "No, not really."
The Scholar: "Well, if what you want to tell me is neither
true nor good nor
even useful, why tell it to me at all ?" Allah (subhana wa
ta'ala) says...
"O you who believe, Avoid much suspicion, indeed some
suspicions are
sins. And spy not, neither backbite one another. Would one
of you like to
eat the flesh (meat) of his dead brother ?
You would hate it (so hate backbiting). And fear Allah.
Verily, Allah is the
One Who accepts repentance, the Most Merciful."
