(pbuh) asked his companions: "Do you know what backbiting
is?" They said, "Allah and His Messenger know best." He then
said, "It is to say something about your brother that he
would dislike." Someone asked him, "But what if what I say
is true?" The Messenger of Allah said, "If what you say
about him is true, you are backbiting him, but if it is not
true then you have slandered him."

"Should India really rejoice when the one lecturing and
threatening Pakistan is Trump, a disgrace to all that is
good about America? Have we Indians become so blind with
prejudice as to forget that America and other western powers
have contributed enormously to the growth of terrorism and
Islamist extremism around the world?."
Thus laments Sudheendra Kulkarni (Jan. 02, 2018, NDTV), who
was an aide to India's former prime minister: Atal Bihari
Vajpayee. His is a voice in wilderness, drowned in the
boisterous celebrations in India on President Trump's new
year tweet accusing and insulting Pakistan. Donald Trump is
popular at only two places on the globe: half of Israel and
almost all of Hindu India, not even in America, where his
approval rating is around 30%. What a disgrace for a people,
whose leader once led the Non-aligned nations and who was a
vocal advocate of peace and justice and where Gandhi stood
as a demigod to become a subject of fascination for dreamers
all over the world! The reason for the Hindus of India to
abandon the core principles, which their leaders endeared
for so long, is obviously the resurgent hatred of
Muslims.
So why have the Sudheendras become almost extinct in India,
as the Narendras proliferate? Well, India is a country of
contrasts and contradictions. Many of the gods and goddesses
of Hinduism have multiple faces and multiple arms. In the
Indian Hindu society virtue and vice always remain dormant,
either of which could easily be brought to the surface by
the Rishis, Mahatmas, Buddhas, Gandhis, Godses and
Savarkars. What we are seeing today is the black face of the
goddess of darkness, casting its shadow on Hinduism from the
Himalayas to Ras Kumari. The social malaise in India has now
been transformed. The post-independence generations have
been fed with new interpretations of history, which has been
condensed into a goulash of resentment and retribution.
Victimhood at the hands of invading Muslim armies is
constantly replayed and refurbished, which are supposed to
have converted temples into mosques and low caste Hindus
into Muslims. Under the BJP government, all the educational
institutions, as well as the media are now fomenting this
culture. People are now living in history and look across
the border in Pakistan with disdain and the Muslim populace
inside India with contempt. They see nothing but their past
humiliation and shame. Alas! They forget that if you live in
history, your present becomes the past.
Here is a nation of scientists, mathematicians and the
highly enlightened Individuals, which believes that the
Babri Masjid was built on the temple marking the birth place
of the mythological Rama, an incarnation of the god Vishnu;
although excavations so far have shown no signs of a temple
under the mosque. No historical indicators have pointed to
Rama's existence in the timeline assigned to him and placed
his birthplace in Ayodhya. His date of birth is variously
given as 5114 BCE and 7323 BCE (a difference of more than
two thousand years: not bad!) His story is told in the epic
poem Ramayana, supposedly written by the sage Valmiki,
either in the fifth century BCE or the first century BCE or
over a period of several centuries. The story tellers do not
agree among themselves with the timeline, giving a range of
2,000 years and yet his place of birth has been agreed upon
with quite a precision, a great scientific feat!
However incredible it may seem, a Hindu temple had been
built on the site of the spot he was born on, in Ayodhya, a
city in the present day Uttar Pradesh and supposedly
destroyed by the Moghal conqueror Babar between 1526 and
1530 A.D. and replaced with a mosque. Imagine how many
layers of civilizations may have passed over this place in
9000 years with panoply of architectural styles, from caves
to grass huts to stones to bricks. The science of
paleontology is helpless in finding any clues as it did with
respect to the Indus Valley Civilization in the
subcontinent.
The Hindu paranoia about history is one of the causes of the
bifurcation of the Indian subcontinent. It could be named as
Somnath Syndrome, the temple which was looted by Mahmood of
Ghazni in perennial raids in the eleventh century A.D.,
leaving a wound in the Hindu psyche which never seems to
heal.
Long before the adoption of the Pakistan Resolution by the
Muslim League in 1940, the Hindu Mahasabha and the Rashtriya
Sevak Sangh were nurturing the idea of Hindu Rashtra. There
was no dearth of Hinduist leadership in the All India
Congress Committee either. Gandhi was being deified as
Mahatma to the disgust of secular minded M.A. Jinnah, who
saw that after the British left, the Hindu majority would be
vindictive towards Muslims due to the Somnath Syndrome. The
congress leadership was already intransigent and was
refusing to address the fears of Muslims. Seventy years on,
with the hatred of Pakistan, the grand injustice in Kashmir
and the Dalitization of Indian Muslims, Jinnah has been
vindicated.
The Hindu attitude towards Muslims is rooted in the caste
system. Manusmriti, the ancient text of the laws of Dharma
(religion) divides the society into four Varnas (colors):
Brahmins (priests, scholars and teachers), Kshatriyas
(rulers, warriors and administrators), Vaishyas
(agriculturists and merchants) and Shudras (laborers and
service providers). Outside these four Vernas are Avernas,
who are outcastes. They include the undesirables, tribes and
the conquered people and those who went out of the religion.
They are referred to as Dalits and untouchables, who are
ostracized and are treated as lowly human beings. The bulk
of Muslims, who are considered to be converts from low caste
Hindus fall into this category in the Hindu subconscious
mind, although they could not be openly treated as Dalits
since Muslims were the ruling class before the colonial rule
and were protected by the kings. The caste system in India
proved to be very resilient and even infectious as Muslims
themselves began to practice it among themselves. Some
Muslims would go to great length trying to prove that they
were not Indian converts but their ancestors came from
abroad. They applied the four Varnas categorization upon
themselves and created the four Muslim castes: Saiyeds,
Shaikhs, Pathans and Moghals. Intermarriages between the
categories were resisted although not very successfully.
A few incidents come to mind, which would highlight the
Hindu mindset:
Shabbir Hussain Khan Josh Malihabadi was an Urdu poet, a
friend of Jawaharlal Nehru and Abul Kalam Azad. In his
autobiography entitled: Yadon Ki Baraat (procession of
memories), he writes about his encounter with Sardar Vallabh
Bhai Patel, deputy prime minister in Nehru's cabinet and the
second most powerful man. Josh was nominated to be the
editor of Urdu magazine "Aaj Kal", an organ of the Ministry
of Information, Government of India. This ministry was in
Sardar Patel's portfolio. Nehru asked Josh to meet with the
minister before taking up the editorship. Josh was
apprehensive about the meeting because of Patel's reputation
of being anti-Muslim. In the beginning of the conversation
Josh told Patel of his apprehension. Patel answered that he
had great respect for people like Josh, who were outside the
milieu of the Indian society. (I am paraphrasing.) Josh was
an Afridi Pathan, light in color. Patel explained that in
fact, his contempt was for the regular Muslims who were low
caste Hindus, converted to Islam by the Muslim rulers. In
spite of being in minority they want to rule the Hindus, he
said. This narrative does not need any elaboration. It sums
up the sentiments of the mainstream Hindus towards
mainstream Muslims.
Dr. Mulk Raj Anand was a celebrated India-based novelist who
wrote in English. His novel "Untouchable" was prompted by an
incident in his family, where one of his aunts committed
suicide because she was excommunicated by her family for
sharing a meal with a Muslim woman.
A story from my own personal experience: While I was growing
up in a southern city in India, most homes had no
electricity and no running water. The villages had communal
wells --- like in the Radha-Krishna movie --- and the urban
areas had communal water taps which opened for a few hours a
day. There would be a line of women with gharas (water
containers) waiting for the water outlet to open. These were
mostly Hindu women since the Muslim women observed purdah
and would not go out. We were gangs of Muslim kids disposed
to committing mischief. So while the women were collecting
water in their brass containers, we would go, touch the
gharas and run away. The women would curse us, throw away
the water and start rubbing the outside of the gharas with
cow dung to clean them of the pollution caused by our touch:
the Muslim kids. For us it was fun and frolics but for the
future of Muslims in India, it was a horror story.
So, much of the conflict in the subcontinent is rooted in
the Caste consciousness of Hindus and the Brahminical
arrogance. Hindus think that Muslims are of lower
intelligence and are incapable of creativity, a myth, which
from my own experience, can be broken. Remember that for
every Aryabhata there is an Al-Khwarizmi. The subcontinent
has produced great Muslim mathematicians and physicists.
Examples are: Allama Mashriqi, Raziuddin Siddiqui and Abdus
Salam; chemists like Salimuzzaman Siddiqui and
Atta-u-Rahman. The problem however is that the systems on
both sides of the border are suffocative for initiative. In
India, as the Sachar Commission Report has indicated,
opportunities for Muslims are so much diminished that the
Muslims are falling behind the Scheduled Caste. In Pakistan,
the corrupt governments are criminally negligent of the
systems of education.
The solution is obvious: In India, Muslims must establish
their own institutions as other minorities have done,
instead of depending completely on government. The
shadikhanas must give way to parhaikhanas. In Pakistan, the
madrasah education must be replaced with comprehensive basic
education by legislation and the private sector must step in
to fund scientific research as in the United States.
Excessive religiosity must be discouraged as it is
counter-indicated in the Quran and the Sunnah. The future of
Muslims will depend upon the quest for knowledge,
competitiveness, inventiveness and enterprise.

On January 12, 2018 Br. Kaukab Siddique gave the juma khutba
at Masjid Jamaat al-Muslimeen in Baltimore. This community
is steadily is increasing
participation and responsibility. There are two imams and
there are two sister activists, there is a security team,
there is a historian and Br. Kaukab is the amir. The masjid
is looking for two more khateebs.
On this juma' the non-Muslim mother of one of the brothers
had passed away and br. Kaukab and the sisters were
condoling with him and advising him on how to deal with the
sad situation.
The masjid is small but it was packed with worshippers. Here

Sura al-Hajj has three characteristics which are often
missed by Muslim preachers:
It is the only sura which has TWO sajdas [prostrations[
during recitation.
It is the first sura in Which Muslims were permitted to
offer armed resistance against aggression.
Allah commanded in this sura that the followers of Islam
must ONLY identify themselves as MUSLIM and nothing
else.
In America there is a deep disease of racism and
sometimes even Muslims are infected by it and identify
themselves as Black or White.
Recently I was informed that a new group is identifying
itself as "Black, American" Islamic group. This racial
identification is alien to Islam and in all of Muslim
history it has never been legitimized.
Also, nationalism, pride in ones nation, is not part of
Islam. Groups supporting the government have tried to come
up with the idea of "moderate, American" Islam. Again, there
is no such legitimacy in Qur'an and authentic hadith. We are
FIRST and LAST, Muslims.
This correct identification which Allah has given us can
unite us. All other labels disunite and fragment us.
The evil hidden within the genesis of America is so
powerful that it is now overwhelming all that is good in
this nation.
Look at what White people did to each other during the
Civil War. As many as 20,000, or 10,000, or 5000 men were
killed in each big battle. These were White people,
Christians, killing each other with intense hatred. Tens of
thousands were wounded and could not be saved from lifelong
suffering owing to lacks of modern medicines.
Think of what happened to women who were widowed or were
left behind the battlefields. Is it strange that there is
little or no punishment for crimes against women. Even rape
with mutilation does not draw execution.
Whatever is good in America is being marred by the people
in power supporting the illegitimate entity known as Israel.
The "miracle" of media distortion does not let Americans see
that Jews supporting Israel are racists siphoning off
America's wealth to an aggressive military entity. Israel is
not based on the religion coming out of Judaism but sees
Jews as a race. They hate the whole world because they are
not based on the teachings of Moses, pbuh, but on racist
ideas of national superiority.
See how the rulers have tried to legitimize
homosexuality which is totally undermining the values of
Christianity and Islam. LGBTq are not limiting themselves to
civil rights or their brand of sex within the privacy of
their homes but as an aggressive media oriented movement
imposing their "religion" on the whole country.
The Governor of Pennsylvania has declared an opioid
[drug drug] emergency. The entire young generation is being
wiped. At least 64.000 people have actually died, in
America, most in the prime of their youth. The materialistic
culture and the lack of higher values is eliminating an

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has said
that he has always opposed Pakistan fighting the 'war on
terror' on behalf of the United States (US).
Fighting someone else's war as a 'gun for hire' had bred
violence and terror in the country, said Imran.
The remarks were part of PTI chief's official statement
regarding the ongoing foreign policy crisis sparked by a
tweet from US President Donald Trump, in which the latter
had urged Pakistan to 'do more' to eliminate terrorist safe
havens on its soil.

Safdar Ali: A Dedicated Worker for Jamaate Islami
LAHORE, Jan. 13: A dedicated worker of the Jamaat e Islami
and former Information Secretary of the JI, Ch. Safdar Ali,
breathed his last after protracted illness. He was 76. He
had been suffering from diabetes for the last several
years.
Ch. Safdar Ali joined the JI in 1967 when the founder of the
JI, Maulana Syed Abul Ala Maudoodi, was the Ameer of the
party. He was associated with the media section of the JI.
He was highly popular among the journalists. He devoted his
entire life for the service of Deen and the JI.
Ameer, JIP, Senator Sirajul Haq, former JI chief Syed
Munawar Hasan, JI leaders including Ch. Rehmat Elahi, Ch.
Muhammad Aslam Saleemi, Hafiz Muhammad Idrees, Prof.

January 14. Damascus. Mujahideen mortar fire hit the
al-Qassaa area in the center of Assad's capital. Casualties
not disclosed.
Shelling of Damascus centers in retaliation for Assad's
shelling of Islamic suburbs around Damascus has become a
daily affair but the shelling of the regime capital is still
light.
In western Daraa province Jaysh Khalid bin Walid which has
accepted the Islamic State repelled an Assad forces advance.
The Jaysh controls 250 square miles in this strategic area
of Syria.
Regime forces have been have been strafing and machine
gunning Daraa city.
January 10-14. southern and eastern Idlib province. Islamic
groups counterattacked Lebanese Hizb, Iranian, Alawite and
Shia militias which had advanced into the borders of Idlib.
The fighting has been ferocious. Attacks by Tahrir [Nusra],
Turkistan [Chinese Uighur]. Jaysh al-Islam, Ahrar al-Sham,
Nuruddin al-Zinki and other groups drove the regime forces
out of 21 villages which they had captured. 82 of the regime
troops were killed, including 3 colonels. The mujahedeen too
lost heavily owing to their martyrdom attacks on tanks and
being subjected to attacks by the Russian air force and
Assad's helicopters. 95 mujahideen were killed. including 6
leaders. The big success for Islamic fighters was that 31 of
the regime troops were captured. In much of the fighting the
Chinese Turkistani Islamic fighters led the mujahideen.
Observers say that if regime forces continue to attack Idlib
province, there could be another huge wave of refugees
fleeing Syria.
In the bombing of Idlib City by the Russians, there was a
big explosion killing 27 civilians including 14 children and
7 women. 16 Islamic fighters from Russia were also killed
who were probably the real target of the Russian
bombing.
Meanwhile, January 8-12, Assad's helicopters, Lebanese Hizb
artillery and Russian jets continued to blast
Islamic-controlled towns around Damascus, particularly Douma
and Harasta. In one day's bombing and shelling, 16
civilians, including 8 children and 5 women were killed in
Harasta city, 7 civilians including a child were killed in
Douma city and 3 civilians, 2 of them children, were killed
in Saqba city.
In the extreme south east of Deir ez Zor province, Islamic
State fighters have stopped the Kurdish SDF advance south
along the Euphrates river and Assad forces advances
frontally towards Bukamal were pushed back further 20 miles.
In the latest fighting 10 regime troops and 7 Islamic State
fighters were killed.
A large Kurdish [Communist] force is being armed and
organized along the north central Syrian border with Turkey.
Turkish leader Erdogan has warned of military intervention
if this force tries to consolidate along the Turkish
border.
North of Raqqa, the IS city destroyed by the US air force,
the man given charge of the reconstruction of Raqqa has been
assassinated by unknown gunmen.

Texas man charged with capital murder in adopted daughter's
death
A Texas man has been charged with capital murder in the
death of his three-year-old adoptive daughter, who was found
to have died from "homicidal violence."
Wesley Mathews, 37, who authorities have said admitted to
causing the child's death and then hiding her body in
October, could face the death penalty or life in prison if
found guilty of the charge, the Dallas County District
Attorney's Office said Friday.
"We have not yet decided if we are going to actually seek
death. We do go through a process to make that
determination," District Attorney Faith Johnson said at a
news conference after a grand jury returned the
indictments.
Mathews was additionally charged with abandoning a child and
tampering with evidence, both in the second degree and
carrying two to 20 years in prison, Johnson said. He was
previously charged with injury to a child, which is a
first-degree felony.
Mathews initially told authorities that his daughter,
Sherin, had gone missing after he left her outside as
punishment for not drinking her milk in the early morning
hours of Oct. 7.
Authorities said he later admitted to physically forcing her
to drink the milk, causing her to choke and die. He said he
then moved her body, which was found two weeks later, an
affidavit stated.

President Donald Trump has once again made it very clear; he
is a racist. Before he decided to insult Haitians and
immigrants from African countries he efficiently targeted
Mexican's and African Americans in the same Tweet, "Sadly,
the overwhelming amount of violent crime in our major cities
is committed by blacks and Hispanics..." We can never forget
one of Trump's most infamous forays into bigotry, "When
Mexico sends it people, they're not sending their
best...They're bringing drugs...They're rapists."
The late Dr. Francis Cress Welsing defined racism/White
Supremacy as, "The local and global power system structured
and maintained by persons who classify themselves as
White...This system consists of patterns of
perception...thought, speech, action and emotional
response..." Trump's historic patters of thought expressed
through his words, actions and policies fit this definition
to a "t".

President Donald Trump is a liar. According to The New York
Times, after admitting that the voice on the infamous
"Access Hollywood" tape was his and making a feeble attempt
to apologize for it, "Mr. Trump told a Republican senator
that he wanted to investigate the recording that had him
boasting about grabbing women's genitals. "We don't think
that was my voice..."
This recent demonstration of Trump's racism has many people
shocked but few are surprised. Most of us are just
disgusted. It is interesting to watch those hacks at FOX
News attempt to spin this into a them vs. us or partisan
creation "...to distract Americans from Trump's
accomplishments".
America, the international global hegemon, the waning empire
- finds itself dealing with the reality that its president
has once again inferred that he sees Europeans as superior
and people of color as inferior, "...the United States
should instead bring more people from countries like
Norway." He sees people of color as "other". It is a "us vs.
them" binary world. Racist rhetoric is the language of
racists. When someone tells you who they are, believe
them.
This "Trumpian" mindset is not new. During WWII President
Roosevelt was asked why Italian Americans were not being
interned like Japanese Americans, he replied, "I don't care
about the Italians...They are a lot of opera singers..." The
Japanese Americans were "other", Italian Americans being of
European decent were like him. Even though Italian and
German Americans did suffer indignities, they were never
interned and mistreated like Japanese Americans.
As I have listened to the debate about Trump's latest
comments, many pundits and analysts are outraged about his
"shithole country" reference. However, few are asking the
more fundamental question, "what made these countries
"shitholes" (and not to say that they really are)?" The
answer, American foreign policy and European settler
colonialism. Haiti struggles to this day simply because
after the Haitian Revolution (1791-1804) it was the first
Black republic in the world to overthrow a European power.
America and France never want Haiti to be the shining
example of successful liberation and freedom that it should
be. People should be asking the Clinton Foundation what
happened to the $13B in aid that went to Haiti after the
earthquake.
Mineral and resource rich African countries such as Zimbabwe
and Congo will never be allowed to organically develop. They
will always be oppressed by America and European forces
because these colonists and neo-colonialists will never
allow the strategic minerals held in these countries to be
controlled by Africans.
Another question to ask is where is the outrage from
Republican leadership? When engaged in analysis historical
context is very important. Trump and his base did not
develop in a vacuum. Sen.'s McConnell and Graham, et al's
failure to condemn Trump's "shithole" comment is consistent.
They were conspicuously silent in 2010 when Tea Party
members spat on Rep. Emanuel Cleaver called Rep. John Lewis
a "nigger" and Rep. Barney Frank a "faggot." Their inability
to condemn Trump is not necessarily because they agree with
him (even though in my opinion they probably do) it's
because they are afraid. They fear what Dr. King called "the
white backlash" and what Dr. Walters called "the politics of
resentment. They fear the well-financed echo chamber called
The Tea Party and the Freedom Caucus.
The ethnic demographics of America are changing. This change
is striking fear in the hearts of many White Americans.
Looking back at the rhetoric it is even easier to see that
when Trump discusses "protecting the American worker" and
bringing in highly educated wealthier "English speakers"
with "higher job skills" he's is speaking to White people
about White people. Therefore, even though many Americans
are appalled by Trump latest raciest display, the White
House is defending it. According to CNN, "The President's
'shithole' remark is being received much differently inside
of the White House than it is outside of it. Though this
might enrage Washington, staffers predict the comment will
resonate with his base, much like his attacks on NFL players
who kneel during the National Anthem did not alienate
it."
As we move closer to the 2018 mid-term elections the
ideological lines are becoming clearer and clearer. Just
when the good people of Alabama dispatched the alleged
petafile Roy Moore, Arizonians will now be faced with the
anti-immigrant, racial profiler and birther Joe Arpaio and
his bid for the US Senate. These mid-terms will be a true
litmus test. Will the bigotry and hatred of Trump's base
continue to carry the day, wreak havoc on our system of
justice and control the Republican Party? Or, will people of
good conscience and good will come to the polls in record
numbers to reject Trump's politics of racism and hate in an
effort to truly Make America Great Again instead of making
America White again?
People have been apologizing for Trump since he announced
his candidacy, saying, "he's not a politician" and "it will
just take time for him to grow into being presidential".
This is the same guy who was sued by the DOJ in 1973 for
housing discrimination. He had his employees secretly mark
the applications of minorities with codes, such as "No. 9"
and "C" for "colored," according to government accounts
filed in federal court.
I have always known, when someone tells you who they are,
believe them. The key is to act on what they tell you.
What Aga Khan does for the Muslim World

Recently there has been some feeble propaganda attempts by
Ismailis to convince Muslims living the in the West and the
'liberal' Muslims living in Muslim lands about how
'philanthropic' is Aga Khan and how humanitarian are his
projects for everyone and not just Ismailis.
Nothing can be further from the truth. All of Aga Khan's
attempts at establishing institutions are strictly,
compulsorily and firmly, for-profit institutions. The poster
child of Aga Khan's public welfare institutions is Aga Khan
Hospital and the Aga Khan Hospital is also a testimony to
the 'for-profit' claim which I mentioned above. The Aga Khan
Hospital is not just one of the expensive, but the most
expensive healthcare institutions in the cities where it is
present. In Kenya, the cost of delivering a baby at Aga Khan
Hospital is a whopping KSh 400,000. Together with that, it
has had an outstanding number of malpractice and medical
negligence cases in Karachi, Pakistan and Nairobi, Kenya.
These are not mere claims of medical malpractice, but are
civil cases against the hospital and it's trustees and are
publicly available for viewing on the internet.
The newly opened Serena Hotel in Kabul offers rooms starting
at $250-a-night, that's what an average Afghan makes in a
year - including the ones employed at the Serena Hotel in
Kabul. These Serena Hotels also openly sell alcohol
contradictory to what Islam teaches, but that's another
topic and already addressed in the Inside Ismailism blog
previously.

Aga Khan's institutions do focus on poverty alleviation, but
these programs are only inward-facing - strictly focused
towards the Ismaili community. The aim is to get as many
family 'on their feet' as possible, for each family which is
able to feed itself is required to pay 12.5% of it's monthly
income to Aga Khan.
This 12.5% paid by Ismaili families is called 'dasond' which
means 'tenth-part'. Modern day Ismaili missionaries claim
that this is a combination of zakat (2.5%) and ushr (10%).
However, that's simply not true because zakat is never ever
paid on income and is paid on excess and unconsumed wealth
which lies with a Muslim for more than a year. The history
of dasond is revealed in Ismaili 'ginans' or hymns which are
written by their 'pirs' or saints in gujrati language.
Ismailis at that time were required to pay their dasond
(tenth part) to the then present-day Imam (spiritual
father), and were required to pay 2.5% to the pir (spiritual
mother) - both from their monthly earnings, completely
contradictory to Islamic teachings. However, when Aga Khan
came into power, he claimed both positions, Imam and Pir,
for himself and asked to be paid both of these shares to
himself. This is also a reason why Ismaili missionaries,
such as Kamaluddin Alimohammad and Abu Aly A. Aziz can be
heard calling the Aga Khan as 'ruhani ma baap' or spiritual
father and mother in their sermons. All of these historical
facts are completely hidden from the present-day Ismailis
and the dasond is just equated to zakat and ushr.
It's not just the issue of dasond vs. zakat. It's also the
issue of the Islamic prayer vs. The Ismaili prayer and the
issue of Hajj vs. The Glimpse of Aga Khan and the issue of
Ramadhan fasting vs. Shukarvari Beej which distance
Ismailism from Islam. All Muslims, including Shia and Sunni
adhere to the five basic pillars of Islam of the testimony
of faith, prayer, zakat, hajj and fasting whereas Ismailis
come in and claim that prayer means not praying as the
Prophet (pbuh) did, fasting does not mean abstaining from
food and drink, zakat is not paid yearly on excess wealth to
the poor but monthly on the income to the Imam (Aga Khan),
and Hajj is just getting a glimpse of Aga Khan with your
very own eyes.
Obviously on a religious ground, Ismailis have not feet to
stand on, as all their claims of following Islam just do not
make any sense whatsoever, and they then cite the Aga Khan
Hospital and other highly profitable institutions which are
just businesses run by Aga Khan. The list of these business
is not small, it's a HUGE list.
Aga Khan has cleverly banded all of these institutions under
AKFED (Aga Khan Fund for Economic Development) which on the
face of it, sounds very philanthropic, but it's not. AKFED
is nothing but a private holding company under which all of
Aga Khan's highly profitable institutions including banks,
insurance companies, telecommunication companies, airlines
and hotels operate such as:

The Aga Khan Foundation in Canada (AKFC) was recently under
investigation and did not reveal it's audited financial
statements to the public. It received $41.9 government
funding in 2013 and did not spend that money. In fact, it
was found that the AKFC had "enough cash-in-hand to operate
for 8 years without even raising even a single penny". This
was reported in Toronto Star and Bloomberg.
Aga Khan's relationship with the current prime minister was
also recently questioned, and is currently under
investigation for calling Justin Trudeau's family to a
vacation. Canada has given AKFC $310 million since 2004 and
Aga Khan's vacation call to Trudeau seemed more like a
'generous cut' than a generous gift.
Investigation into the Trudeau-Aga Khan relationship
resulted in the striking discovery that the island at which
Aga Khan hosted Justin Trudeau was owned by an off-shore
company. The Panama Leaks database contained the name of
this company through which it was found that this company is
owned by two other companies. Even the helicopter which was
used for transport was owned by an off-shore company. This
is the modern way of weaving private property ownership into
layers and layers of companies registered in off-shore tax
havens. It is impossible for anyone to determine wealth of
individuals who use these off-shore companies.
A few weeks into this and the Paradise Papers were revealed
in which Aga Khan's name was prominently featured. Aga Khan
was found to hide the ownership of his expensive
multi-million dollar yachts under an off-shore company
called Bravo Romeo. Just one of the yacht he owns was valued
at 200,000,000 British Pounds in 2014 (See photo of
Aga Khan enjoying vacation on one of his 200 million pound
yachts).
Aga Khan was also highly criticized when he milked the
Canadian government to grant him $30 million dollars from
the tax payers money to establish the Global Center for
Pluralism. Moreover, Aga Khan got the premises for the
Global center for Pluralism against just $1 for a 99-year
lease and later got permission for sub-lease half of the
property at market rate to other tenants. This prime piece
of real estate was formerly the Canadian War Museum.
Aga Khan and his Ismaili community were also under
investigation, this time by the FBI for money laundering
when Ismaili community members were found smuggling dasond
money (yes, the same 12.5%) across the US-Canadian border.
Fortunately for Aga Khan, the Ismailis involved took the
blame and the prison sentence upon themselves. The entire
saga was covered by CBC's Fifth Estate documentary called
"God's Money".
Aga Khan was also revealed to have funded Tajik separatist
terrorists against the current Tajik government and the
story was published as 'West plans new country for
Ismaelites' [sic] in Press TV.
The Aga Khan also owns a $100 million island in the Bahamas,
a superyacht with which he breaks speed records, racehorses
which win him derby money and settles record million-dollar
divorces with Western supermodels who go back to
Christianity after 'accepting Islam' while married to Aga
Khan. But that's a another bunch of topics.
Whether you are a Ismaili or a Muslim, whenever you are
giving your 'time and money' to anything owned and operated
by Aga Khan, know where you time and money is going, as the
money trail always leads to the truth behind the facade.
