LAHORE, Dec. 22; Ameer, Jamaat e islami, Pakistan, Senator
Sirajul Haq, has asked ousted Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif
who should be held responsible for the lack of justice,
medical and educational facilities and employment in the
country for the last three decades during which he ( Nawaz)
had been in power. He was addressing a big public meeting at
Gujranwala Friday afternoon.
"The ousted Prime Minister is crying of having been denied
justice and is talking of launching a movement against the
judiciary. I ask him who should be blamed for the lack of
justice and inadequate facilities of education, health and
employment although he had been in power for the last three
years', Sirajul Haq said.
The JI chief said that the PPP had failed, the days of the
Muslim League were also over and the sun of a glorious
Islamic revolution would rise very soon.
He said those who had wasted seventy precious year s of the
nation were the real culprits and the nation fully knew
them. He said that the Udyala jail was the next abode of
these criminals and time had come when every penny of the
public money would be recovered from these plunderers.
Sirajul Haq said that his war was not against the political
pundits in the country as they were the slaves of the
international establishment. His war was against the patrons
of these pundits who were giving away dollars only to
obstruct the Islamic system, he said He was confident that
the masses would give full respect to those striving for the
Islamic way of life.
The JI chief said that the Holy Prophet's love warranted
that all the religious parties and the politician having a
clean record should join hands. He said that the differences
among the religious parties only benefitted the secular and
liberal elements.
Sirajul Haq said that as long as the religious parties had
their differences, the liberals were taunting and
questioning how could the parties fighting among themselves
enforce an Islamic system. But now when the religious
parties had joined hands, the liberals were asking what had
made them to unite.
"Time will soon come when the Ghulaman e Mustafa would be on
one side and the Gulaman e American would be on the other
side, and the masses would reject the US a gents and support
those striving for the supremacy of Deen" he declared .
Sirajul Haq said the JI was the only democratic party in the
country which had elected the son of a lay man and a kisan
from a backward area as its Ameer. He urged the people to
shake the hold of the oppressive feudal lords, capitalists
and the status quo forces and support the JI.
JI Punjab chief Mian Maqsood Ahmed, in his address, urged
the masses to change their voting trend and vote for the JI
to get rid of the corrupt mafias.

Sirajul Haq, and JI deputy chiefs have greeted the JI
leaders and workers in Khyber B. for the thumping victory of
the JI candidates in by elections of local bodies in Upper
Dir and Lower Dir.
In a joint statement here, they said the JI's victory in
these by elections in the area proved the popularity of the
party. They expressed the hope that the JI would keep up its
successes in the next general elections.

LAHORE, Dec. 22; Deputy chief of the Jamaat e Islami, Hafiz
Muhammad Idrees, has said that US President Trump's
stubbornness on Jerusalem issue despite his humiliating
defeat n the UN General Assembly was the worst example of
arrogance and pride and it seemed the Trump was unaware of
the fate of the Britain and Soviet Union.
Addressing a big Friday congregation at Mansoora, he said
that the Baitul Madis was the first Qibla of the Muslims and
they were prepared for every sacrifice for its
liberation.
Hafiz Muhammad Idrees said that the civilized world would
have to adopt a joint line of action against the US and the
UN would have to implement its revolutions on Kashmir,
Palestine and Burma. He said if the US and Israel did not
alter their evil ways, the UN would lose its utility.
He impressed upon the Muslims rulers to give up their
slavish attitude and pick up courage to see eye to eye with
the US. He said the solution of the Palestine and Kashmir
issues was essential for world peace.

Syria
Heavy Fighting Continues across Syria. What is the purpose
of the Continuing Battles?
New Trend's Analysis of the Syria Situation.
Western media are portraying the conflict in two different
ways. One angle is that it is a civil war in which Syrians
are fighting each other, pro-and anti-Assad. The second
viewpoint is that it is Shia versus Sunni. Both are
incorrect but have impacted the Muslim world to such an
extent that Muslim countries do not consider it "their"
conflict. It is a tactical disaster for the forces fighting
Assad because no country is helping them [other than Turkey
which stopped helping after 3 years].
The uprising began as a movement for democracy and justice
against the tyranny of Assad. The result was a blood bath
during which Assad's forces slaughtered hundreds of unarmed
protestors and demonstrators. Social media spread the
message from city to city and the entire country was united
against Assad. His merciless behavior led to defections from
his army.
As the news of massacres by Assad's forces spread globally,
volunteers from Muslim countries started flowing into Syria.
The largest number came from Tunisia but the ones from Saudi
Arabia were presented by Assad's media as "evidence" that
Saudi Arabia was "behind" the uprising.
The people who have the ability to use weapons are the ones
who fought against the West in Afghanistan and Iraq. These
are strict Muslims known as al-Qaida.
Assad has come near to his end three times but each time was
saved by foreign forces:
Saved by so-called Hizbullah of Lebanon, with Iranian
funding. It did not work.
Saved by Iranian supplies of weaponry on a weekly basis
and then Iranian "revolutionary" guards. The Iranians
floated the idea that mujahideen are "takfeeris" and should
be fought because they consider Shias as non-Muslims.
As the Iranian help did not work either, Russia joined
Assad's forces, carrying out brutal bombing campaigns and
then sending in Russian Special Forces.
In the meantime, as Assad lost control of most of Syria, the
vacuum was filled by the establishment of the Islamic State
[ISIS] with its capital in Raqqa. The ISIS advance into Iraq
was spectacular as it easily defeated regime forces in Mosul
and captured their entire America-supplied weaponry. The
Caliphate, led by Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, indicated that it
was not afraid of anyone on the planet earth. It saw the
Shias as non-believers and even opposed al-Qaida. The
extremism and boldness if ISIS drew the fear and anger the
western powers. Volunteers joined ISIS from all over the
world, including converts to Islam from western
countries.
The attacks on Shias played into the hands of Iran and
multiplied the enemies of the Caliphate to such an extent
that it was outnumbered 100 to one though it remained
formidable owing to its army of "martyrdom operators."
Any Islamic caliphate will have to fight Russia, Iran and
the West. It will need the support of the Muslim world.
The objective of Iran, Russia, Israel and the western powers
is to save Assad and have a reformed Assd regime.

Barrages of missiles and artillery shells from Russian and
Iranian camps in various parts of Syria are hitting
pro-Islam areas south of Aleppo, north east of Hama and in
Idlib province.
According to the latest reports from Syria, ISIS mujahideen
who made a come- back in parts of Deir ez Zor province have
now entered parts of Homs province. Their methodology now is
to hide in the desert and then ambush regime [Shia] forces.
Successful attacks into the countryside of Homs have
resulted in a steady stream of regime deaths and
wounded.

In the areas from which Tahrir [al-Nusra] forces movded
forward to fight regime advances, ISIS groups have moved in
and are entering Idlib province which is entirely pro-Tahrir
[al-Nusra] area.
There are reports of growing differences within Tahrir
between those who want the movement to be indigenous [Syrian
only] and those who want it to be international, led by
Osama bin Laden's close friend Ayman al-Zawahiri.
Brief reports on the towns on the eastern edge of
Damascus.
In the Ein Terma and two other sectors regime forced shelled
the strongholds of Jaysha al Islam and Rahman Corp with
heavy artillery and ground to ground missiles. Air strikes
by the regime were carried out on civilian areas supporting
the mujahideen. However the regime forces could not advance
in any area.
Islamic State fighters are again active in Deir ez Zor
province. Bokamal (or Abu Kamal) remains in ISIS control.
SOHR reports light casualties suffered by Assad forces
advancing from the west as well as Kurdish US backed forces
advancing from the north east.
Turkish forces advancing towards Aleppo clashed with Kurdish
forces (YPG).
