For those who already pray, fast and give charity.....
Abu Darda, r.a., from his mother, r.a: The Prophet, pbuh,
said: Should I not tell you something which is even better
than prayer, fasting and charity? We said: Surely! He said:
To reconcile people who have separated when their separation
is messing up their religion.
[Hadith in Sunan of Abu Dawood # 4914, Sunan of Tirmidhi
#2509, Musnad of Ahmad ibn Hanbal # 28058]
Comment by Kaukab Siddique: At a time of personal animosity,
divorce, antagonism between family members, it is good to
remember that there is something more important than
prayer, fasting and charity. This also applies at the level
of nations where Muslims are fighting each other. See sura
Hujurat in the Qur'an.
State Dept. reverses visa revocations, allows barred
travelers to enter U.S.
February 4 at 9:05 PM
[Washington Post]
The Department of Homeland Security complied with a judge's
orders Saturday and stopped enforcing President Trump's
controversial entry ban, and the fast-moving legal dispute
over the president's powers could land at the nation's
highest court.
On Saturday evening, Trump administration lawyers filed a
notice to appeal the Seattle federal judge's decision from
Friday night that imposed a temporary, nationwide halt to
Trump's order barring refugees and those from seven
majority-Muslim nations from entering the country.
Judge Robart granted a request from attorneys for the states
of Washington and Minnesota who had asked him to stop the
government from acting on critical sections of Trump's
order. Justice and State department officials had revealed
earlier Friday that about 60,000 — and possibly as
many as 100,000 — visas already have been
provisionally revoked as a result of Trump's order.
A U.S. official who spoke on the condition of anonymity said
that because of the court case, officials would examine the
revoking of those visas so that people would be allowed to
travel.
Robart's order also enjoined the government from enforcing a
section of the executive order that bars the entry of Syrian
refugees.
Turkey: 445 young men have been arrested in several towns on
suspicion of support for the Islamic State.
Jordan: King Abdullah's air force has started bombing
Islamic State targets in Syria once again but this time
using drones.
Canada: A racist terrorist who attacked an Islamic center in
Quebec has brought widespread support for Muslims. However
Canada continues harsh treatment of Islamic prisoners. The
Canadian air force continues to bomb Islamic targets in
Syria as part of the US coalition.
Pakistan: After police shot and killed a driver who did not
stop in Islamabad, a large crowd gathered, burned down the
police check point and beat up the policemen. The government
has decided to arrest the policeman who did the shooting.
Tzipi Livni cancels Brussels trip amid threat of arrest
Ex-foreign minister cancels Brussels visit after prosecutors
said they would question her over war crimes
allegations.
Livni, ex-foreign minister, is among those named in a
complaint filed over war crimes in Gaza [Ronen
Zvulun/Reuters]Israel's former foreign minister cancelled a
trip to Brussels after Belgian prosecutors confirmed they
wanted to question her over war crimes allegations.
Tzipi Livni was expected to meet Jewish leaders in the city
on Monday, but cancelled ahead of time.
A spokesman for the event said Livni cancelled for "personal
reasons" but local newspaper Le Soir said prosecutors had
been hoping to question her over allegations of war crimes
in the 2008-9 Israeli war in Gaza, when she was foreign
minister.
"We wanted to take advantage of her visit to try to advance
the investigation," a spokesman for Belgium's federal
prosecutor Thierry Werts told the AFP news agency.
Livni is named along with other political and military
leaders in a complaint filed in June 2010 over alleged
crimes committed during the Gaza war.
More than 1,400 Palestinians, mostly civilians, died during
the Israeli offensive between December 27, 2008 to January

Advice on How to survive as Muslims in America under the
Trump Regime.

On February 3, Br. Kaukab Siddique gave the juma' khutba at
Masjid Jamaat al-Muslimeen in central Baltimore. Here is an
outline of the khutba for distribution on the Internet.
Text #1:
O ye who believe! Shun much suspicion; for lo! some
suspicion is a crime. And spy not on, neither backbite one
another. Would one of you love to eat the flesh of his dead
brother? Ye abhor that (so abhor the other)! And keep your
duty (to Allah). Lo! Allah is Relenting, Merciful.
[The Qur'an 49:12]
Text #2:
Jubair ibn Mut'im reported: The Messenger of Allah,
peace and blessings be upon him, said:
He is not one of us who calls to narrow nationalism
[tribalism]. He is not one of us who fights for the sake of
narrow nationalism. He is not one of us who dies following
the way of narrow nationalism..
[Hadith: Sunan of Abu Dawud 5102]
Muslims of America are passing through a difficult phase.
Two segments of the power structure are using Muslims. One
segment claims to be our friends and wants to use us to
fight for USA and stand against Muslims in other countries.
The other segment wants to terrorize us to the extent that
we dare not say anything.
We must seek guidance from the Qur'an and the life of
the Prophet, pbuh, so that we do not commit blunders.
There are an estimated 3 million to 9 million Muslims in
America according to various sources. We are almost as many
as the Jews in America. The Jews have only one little
country created through war and occupation. America listens
to every little whim of the Jews. We have 54 countries but
America has not the slightest interest in our viewpoint.
Think of the causes.
Our situation is like that of Arabs before the advent of
Islam among them. They were divided among tribes and were
constantly fighting each other. The slightest problem would
lead to years, sometimes decades of war. The superpowers at
that time, Persia and Rome, thought the Arabs were
insignificant. Islam united the Arabs and toppled both
empires.
Slavery and the subjugation of women were part of the
daily life of Arabs before Islam.
Look at our condition. We do not give up our nationalism
and internal divisions even when we come to America. We have
mosques which are nation-based, predominantly Arab,
Pakistani-Indian, African and African American. Those which
are mixed dare not discuss what is going on in the world for
fear of offending their members.
We live here as if we are in Madinah. Almost every
community is focusing on building larger and fancier
mosques. Most of our funds go into constructing and
maintaining these mosques.
We are so divided along national lines that we dare not
speak out even on blatant oppression against our
communities. When the Blind Shaikh is imprisoned, we don't
care because he is Egyptian. When Imam Jamil is sentenced,
we are silent because he is African American. When Dr. Aafia
is given 85 years, we are silent because she is
Pakistani.
We are losing our new generations because we have nothing
to say about what America is doing to the Muslim world.
Israel invades Gaza three times and we are silent. America
bombs Syria and Iraq EVERY DAY and we are silent. Every now
and then America bombs Yemen, Somalia, Pakistan, Afghanistan
and Libya but we say not a word though the US constitution
gives us the right to speak.
Seeing our weakness, the American power structure has
planted groups and "leaders" in our communities who are more
loyal to our oppressors than to Islam. They dare not speak
against Israel and have even endorsed homosexuality.
The media say every day that those who are fighting for
Islam in various Muslim countries are "terrorists." Owing to
our silence, our children have started believing that
perhaps the fighters indeed are terrorists.
Part 2.
We can learn from the struggle of African American
people. Elijah Muhammad taught Black people to be proud of
their own race. Even with a little bit of Islam, he did
great things, like abolition of liquor, gambling, pork in
his community. Modesty became part of the Black woman's
dress.
Then from Elijah Muhammad's movement came Malcolm X
[al-Hajj Malik Shabazz]. He went to Africa, Lebanon and
Makka and accepted authentic Islam. Tens of thousands then
became Muslim.
Then came Imam Jamil al-Amin and numerous other Imams.
There was an outburst of conversions to Islam across
America. Oppressed people started embracing Islam en masse.
Owing to Malcolm X they identified Islam as opposition to
oppression and exploitation.
The government was alarmed. Dr. King was murdered.
Malcolm X was shot down. Imam Jamil was imprisoned. Imam
Luqman was killed. The immigrant Muslims were so happy with
America that they did not protest. Hence a chasm opened
between African American and immigrant Muslims, each
becoming isolated from the others. Saudi money not only
de-politicized many of the bigger immigrant mosques but also
took many African Americans away from the examples of
Malcolm and Imam Jamil.
We must focus on the categories of Muslims given in the
Qur'an. See sura 9, verse 100:
Muhajerin.
Ansar
Those who followed them.
Behavior should be based on:
Taqwa
Ahsan,
Haqq. Speaking the truth.
Remember that the media are controlled by:
Forces of deception.
Forces of blatant lies.
Study the lives of the Companions of the Prophet,
pbuh.
Study the lives of Salahuddin and others who defeated the
crusaders. Study the struggle of those who resisted and
accepted shahadat, like Tipu in India and Mukhtar in
Libya.
Study the great African Islamic empires, Tariq ibn
Ziyad, Yusuf bin Tashfin, Mansa Musa and others. "Black
history" did not begin with slavery.
In our own times, Iqbal, Maudoodi, Syed Qutb and the
fighting leaders should be studied.
Women's rights must be restored. Study Ayesha, Umm
Ammara, Umm Waraqa, Fatima, Khadija, Allah bless them all,
and the Islamic women of our own times.
Unity requires us to have Islamic spouses and Islamic
children. Focus on the Islamic family, not just the
family.
Ameen, summa ameen.

They are steadily posting a whole list of Muslim political
prisoners with their prison address and the addresses
of prison institutions. They want readers to write letters
of concern, care and decency to the prisoners. Each
letter or even a postcard can bring light into the lives

Huge KASHMIR MARCH
Siraj urges masses to express total solidarity with
Kashmiris.
Support for Hafiz Saeed and Dr. Aafia
LAHORE, Feb. 5; Addressing a huge Kashmir March in the
Punjab capital on the Kashmir Solidarity Day, Ameer, Jamaat
e Islami, Pakistan, Senator Sirajul Haq, declared that the
sun of independence would dawn soon in Kashmir and the
Pakistan flag would fly over Srinagar.
The Kashmir Jehad is not a struggle for roti, Kapra or Makan
or economic freedom, it is an ideological war and nobody can
defeat it, he told thousands of men, women and children who
had turned up to support the liberation struggle of the
Kashmiris continuing for the last seventy years.
Sirajul Haq said that Kashmir movement was different from
the war in Afghanistan and Palestine, as it was continuation
of the historic Pakistan movement. He said the Kashmiris had
done their duty and it was for Pakistan to speed up this
movement and carry it to its logical end.
He said that more than one 100,000 Kashmiris had laid down
their lives for freedom. Thousands of Kashmiri youth were
being tortured but they had refused to give up their
struggle. He said the Kashmiris had rejected impressive
packages and lucrative posts offered by India and had
preferred liberation.
He said it was unfortunate that a small lobby of hypocrites
in the country was busy in negative propaganda against Jehad
and Kashmir.
Sirajul Haq strongly criticized the government's Kashmir
policy and said the rulers were betraying the Kashmiri
martyrs for the sake of friendship and trade with India.
Speaking on the occasion, JI Punjab chief Mian Maqsood Ahmed
said that thousands of people were on roads today to
expressed solidarity with their kashmiri brethren but the
rulers were afraid of Modi's displeasure. The rulers were
thus showing loyalty to the foreign masters.
JI Information Secretary Amirul Azeem said that the
detention of Hafiz Muhammad Saeed on this occasion had sent
a negative signal to the Kashmiris. The rulers had gone
blind in the colonial powers slavery. He said Pakistan's
respected lady Dr Aafia Siddiqui had been in US jail but the
cowardly rulers were not ready to utter a word in her
favour.
JI Secretary General, Liaqat Baloch, while addressing the
Kashmir rally at Faisalabad, said that the Kashmiris had
been struggling for independence for the last seventy years
and had refused to bow down before Indian repression. He
said that independence was the basic right of the Kashmiris
and their sacrifices and struggle would soon bear fruit.

ANALYSIS
A part of Ghadeer Khum hadith was fabricated by Shias.
[Note by Kaukab Siddique]
Shias have been celebrating what they call Eide Ghadeer
though there is no such celebration in Islam. They claim that
at a watering hole in the desert 230 km from Makka, the
Prophet, pbuh, gathered all the Muslims and addressed them
about a dispute between Ali, r.a., and a contingesnt of
fighters. He, pbuh, according to the Shias, told the Muslims
that "of whomsoever I am Mawla, Ali is also his Mawla." From
here the Shias go on to claim that Mawla means "master" and
by calling him "mawla" the Prophet, pbuh, was appointing him
to be the Caliph. {Mawla does not mean Caliph or master in
many cases.]
The Shias fabricarted the "mawla" aspect of the story and
added it to those hadith collections where the collectors
did not scrutinize the reports critically.
Now if you look at the hadith collections of Bukhari and
Muslim, the Ghadeer Khum incident is mentioned but the
"mawla" part is not there.
Now let us go to the earliest biography of the Prophet,
pbuh, and read the Ghadeer incident. The "mawla" part is not
there:
"When Ali came (back) from the Yemen to meet the Prophet,
pbuh, in Mecca, he hurried to him and left in charge of his
army one of his companions who went and covered every man in
the force with clothes from the linen Ali had. When the army
approached, he (Ali) went out to meet them and found them
dressed in the clothes. When he asked what had happened,
the man (his deputy) said that he had dressed the men so
that they might appear seemly when they mingle with the
people. He (Ali) told him to take off the clothes before
they came to the Prophet, pbuh, and they did so and put
them back among the spoil(s). The army showed resentment at
their treatment...when the men complained of Ali, the
Prophet, pbuh, arose to address them and he (the narrator)
heard him (the Prophet) say: "Do not blame Ali, for he is
too scrupulous in the things of Allah, or in the way of
Allah, to be blamed."
(Ibn Ishaq, Seerah Rasool-Allah, p.650)
Thus the Shi'ite claim of Ali's, r.a., caliphate is based
on a fabrication.
