Afghanistan: September 19: Kabul airport: A Taliban woman offering herself as a human bomber hit an airline company bus killing 12 European aviation specialists including a British woman.

September 14: Fifteen Taliban self-sacrificers penetrated the biggest US air base in Helmand province known as Camp Bastion. For hours they went around destroying air related equipment before all but one were killed by US marines. They destroyed SIX Harrier jets and heavily damaged two others. They also destroyed three refuelling stations and six hangers. Two marines were also killed in the fighting. Looks like the local US air fleet has been wiped out for Helmand province.

September 21: Saudi Prince Al-Walid bin Talal tried to sideline Muslim protests against French cartoons of the Prophet, pbuh. He Inaugurated an Islamic art museum in Paris and refused to condemn the cartoons. In an extensive interview with BBC, he opposed Muslim protests, sided with the French government and insulted Muslim women who wear the Niqab. So the Kuffar ban niqab, and al-Walid supports the French. That is Kufr. Supporting the Kuffar is kufr.

The group, in an interview with BBC, categorically rejected any hand in the killing. Its leader said that though they admire Dr. al-Zawahiri and love Muhammad, pbuh, above all humans, they are not part of al-Qaida and they did not kill the ambassador. There is an indication that the US might release the Blind Shaykh, Dr. Abdel Rahman, to the custody of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt. [Please scroll to end.]
Already Fox TV is attacking the possibility of release.

Egypt's Prosecutor General has issued arrest warrants for Qur'an burner Terry Jones, the video maker Jew-Copt Nakoula and 6 other Christian Copts. If the US refuses to let them be arrested, Egyptians will see it as an attempt to protect those who have blasphemed the Prophet, pbuh. [Protest rallies are continuing in Egypt. ]


Turkish-American Professor Pin Points Fethullah Gulen's treacherous role:

There is group just like CAIR led by Fethullah Gulen, a Nihad Awad think alike which has infiltrated Turkish-Ameican communities. In a note to New Trend, a distinguished Turkish professor, Suleyman Kurter, pointed out that Gulen has condemned the killing of the US ambassador, the two Navy Seals and another official but has been silent about the filthy, abusive movie made by a Jewish-Coptic group. In fact Gulen has issued a statement condemning Muslim world's rallies and "violent" protests as a form of "terrorism." [Sort of like ISNA's Zaid Shakir about Danish cartoons.]
The Gulen group is more sophisticated in supporting an American brand of "Islam" than CAIR, a New Trend observer says.

September 21: Huge rallies in Pakistan Condemn US, France and Israel for blasphemy.

19 killed, 500 wounded
US-backed Pakistani government tried to pre-empt the Islamics by declaring Friday would be a closed holiday to let the people protest the abusive video and other attacks on the Prophet, pbuh. The tactic backfired. The protestors, from all walks of life, not only flooded the streets with chants of "down USA" but carried out effigy burning and flag burning of USA, Israel and in some places France.
The crowds were too big to be controlled by police with tear gas and steel-tipped staves. But the police had orders to stop any advancing crowd trying to reach US embassies and consulates. The police repeatedly opened fire to stop the moves towards the foreign consulates. At one point some in the crowd opened return fire in Karachi killing a policeman.
Blocked from reaching the foreigners, the crowds attacked other symbols of westernization and corruption. In Karachi, three cinemas and three banks were set on fire. In Peshawar another three cinemas were burned. In Islamabad, crowds tried to break into the diplomatic enclave all through the afternoon fighting with police.
At least 19 people are reported killed by the police and more than 500 wounded. Scores of policemen wwre also wounded by the stone throwing crowds.
The peaceful rallies by Jamaate Islami displayed hundreds of Islamic and Pakistan flags. They carried placards and banners with the words:
"We'll sacrifice ourselves and our families for the honor of the Prophet, pbuh."

On September 21, Br. Kaukab Siddique gave the juma' khutba and led prayers at Masjid Jamaat al-Muslimeen in Baltimore, Maryland. Here are his main points for distribution on the Internet.

Text: "O you who believe! Take not as guardians/friends-protectors-advisers [ bitana] those outside the ranks of Islam. They will not fail to corrupt you. They only desire your ruin.   1. Today there was a second wave of protests in 21 Muslim countries, the biggest in Pakistan, against abusive attacks on Prophet Muhammad, pbuh, which are published by Copts and Zionists under protection of western governments.

  2. The corporate and zionist media are presenting these Muslim protests as the expression of Muslim bigotry and over-reaction to minor videos and cartoons.

  3. Why can't Americans and Europeans understand the Islamic response to abuse aimed at Prophet Muhammad, pbuh? The most important cause of Anglo-American insensitivity is the loss of a sense of the sacred.

  4. Increasingly, for many non-Muslims, there is nothing sacred. Every day, the media subject Americans to trivialization of religion, including jokes about Jesus, pbuh.

  5. Women in the Muslim world are sacred. They are seen as mothers, daughters, sisters, aunts, grandmas. In the West, many women are seen as instruments of male pleasure and often as images for money making and commercialism. The slutty look is now commonplace among young women in the West, while some men think they should be seen as pimps.

  6. In that context, is it surprising that the Zionist-Jews and Christian Zionists do not hesitate tp insult the greatest Islamic woman, Aisha, r.a, the blessed wife of the Prophet, pbuh, teacher, scholar, orator, leader, whose chastity, piety, fear of Allah is proverbial and whose love of the poor and the oppressed has few equals.

  7. The Muslim Ummah is rising up but the Muslims of America are being told by agent groups within them to shut up and not disturb the American authorities. The main argument of the agents is that the Prophet, pbuh, forgave those who attacked him, so we should too.

  8. The "forgive them and shut up" argument is absurd because the Prophet, pbuh, is not here and he is not under attack as a person. The kuffar are attacking him as the symbol and exemplar of the entire Islamic way of life.

  9. So I say to the agent groups, if you are personally attacked, forgive and forget and move on. When the Prophet is insulted, pbuh, we are all under attack, our sanctities are under attack, Makkah and Madinah and al-Aqsa are under attack.

  10. When the blessed Aisha, r.a, Mother of the Believers, is attacked, it is worse than an attack on our own mothers.

  11. In the Muslim world, the people are rising up physically against the West. In America, we can go to level two of the Hadith: "Speak out against it." Protest, express yourself, do not be friends with the Zionist Jews and Christian Zionists.

  12. Remember that globally we are ONE UMMAH. The Muslims, be they in Turkey, Yemen, Nigeria, Pakistan, Bangladesh or elsewhere are fighting for our rights, for our civilization, for our future, for the victory of Islam.

  13. Don't be fooled by the American-European slogan of "Freedom of Expression." How can there be freedom of expression when the corporate and Zionist media do not allow any authentic Islamic voice to be heard? There is COMPLETE CENSORSHIP of the Islamic view of the world.

  14. If you criticize the Jewish holocaust story EVEN ONCE, you will never be allowed to appear on any major media outlet. The same is gradually happening to homosexuality.

  15. Did you see the Republican and Democratic conventions? Did you hear any dissident voices? Don't be fooled. There is no democracy here. These are orchestrated performances based on million dollar expenses and massive security. A person who gets up and denounces drone attacks is liable to be immediately picked up by police.

  16. Pray for the victory of those who are standing up for the Honor of the Prophet, pbuh.

Anti-Islam film protests

Mohammad Ali al-Zahawi, the commander of Libya's largest Islamist brigade, is not known among Benghazi residents as a person who wants to attract media attention.
But in recent days Ansar al-Sharia has come under the spotlight.
The death of US ambassador Christopher Stevens in a military-style attack on the US consulate in Benghazi was the latest episode of violence attributed to his brigade - though no evidence has backed such accusations.
In an unusual move, Mr Zahawi agreed to give his first interview to an international broadcaster - giving a glimpse into his ideology.

"We are a brigade not a movement," he told BBC Arabic TV at the brigade's fortified headquarters in the heartland of Libya's second largest city.
"We formed our brigade after the toppling of tyrant [Muammar] Gaddafi.
"We took part in the liberation of Libya but now they are many brigades with different ideologies."
Once the dust settled after the internecine conflict last year, many brigades have emerged across Libya.
Attempts by governing officials to encourage their commanders to disarm have almost proved futile.
Ansar al-Sharia is no exception.
"It is not the right time we give up our arms because we are in a battle with the liberals, the secularists and the remnants of Gaddafi," explained Mr Zahawi, 44, who was wearing jeans and a black checked shirt.
Nervous
The brigade's building is just minutes away from the city centre.
A group of heavily armed young men with growing beards mans the main entrance.
They were nervous about our camera. The instructions were clear: Do not show our faces and no filming inside.
Inside, our movement was restricted to one room and its attached hall where we interviewed Mr Zahawi.
The brigade is operating openly like many others since the ousting of Col Gaddafi last year.

The interview was closely watched by bodyguards and his media assistant
And they have a goal they have not achieved yet.
"Our brave youths will continue their struggle until they impose Sharia," Mr Zahawi said confidently.
The brigade has an ultra-conservative interpretation of Islam.
Mr Zahawi confirmed in the interview that his brigade had demolished and desecrated Sufi shrines in Benghazi, which they regard as idolatrous.
"It is a religious duty to remove these shrines because people worship the deceased and this is prohibited. It is not me who says so but rather our religion."
'No al-Qaeda link'
Mr Zahawi believes that the United States has an agenda.

"Make no mistake, there is a massive American onslaught on Muslim countries. The crusaders want to occupy our countries and act as our guardians. They do not respect our sovereignty," he said.
His brigade was not linked to al-Qaeda though he thoroughly approves of its strategy, he said.
"Al-Qaeda's strategy is aimed at weakening US hegemony on the Muslim nation," he said.
Asked what he thinks of recent statements made by al-Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri, Mr Zahawi said: "Such statements are a wake-up call for Muslims.
"They help galvanise the Muslim nation, maintain its dignity and pride.
"Sheikh Ayman al-Zawahiri is keen on safeguarding Muslim rights."
Mr Zahawi reiterated his brigade was not behind the attack on 11 September on the US consulate in Benghazi.
But he stopped short of condemning the death of the US ambassador.
"Do you think that the killing of the US ambassador is more heinous than the several insults made about the Prophet, peace be upon him?" he asked.
The US ambassador and three other US consulate staff were killed when the consulate was set ablaze in protests over an anti-Islam film made in the US.
"I swear by God that we can tolerate the killing of all people and wiping all countries off the map but we cannot tolerate a single swear word that could hurt our prophet," he said.
"They are weeping buckets on this ambassador but they won't shed any tears when dozens of Muslims are injured in these protests against the blasphemous film."
After 40 minutes the interview - which was closely watched over by his armed guards and his media assistant - came to an end.
We had expected it to be a short meeting, but Mr Zahawi had relaxed and warmed to his subject.
He shook our hands warmly before we left, though this friendly manner did not extend to the guards who escorted us to our vehicle.

My recent nine-day visit to Iran was busier and more productive than I had anticipated.

Among the highlights was a guest appearance on an influential prime-time public affairs television show, a memorable meeting with the nation's President, and a well-received lecture of more than two hours on "The Zionist Lobby in America," given to a gathering of 800 students.
The visit also included many interviews, informative talks with writers and film-makers from different countries, and useful discussions with Iranian journalists, scholars, students and officials.

This expense-paid visit helped me to gain a much better understanding of the country that has been so much in the news in recent years, and which is being threatened with attack by Israel. I also learned much more about the country's social, cultural and political life, and something of the outlook, attitudes and hopes of its people. I was also able to provide Iranians with some informed perspective on recent events and long-term trends in the United States.
This visit is only the latest expression of the Institute's global impact. In recent years, for example, we've made the IHR a much more important online source of reliable information and sound perspective.

We work hard to merit your support. Unlike groups and individuals that "preach to the choir," impressing only a limited number of "true believers," or that seek larger audiences with simplistic, sensationalized presentations, we're making a real difference, routinely reaching students, activists, educators and opinion-makers.
