PROPHET MUHAMMAD'S (pbuh) VISION OF THE WORLD ISLAM WANTS:
WOMEN'S
AUTONOMY, ELIMINATION OF DESPOTISM,
DISTRIBUTION OF WEALTH TILL ALL ARE PROSPEROUS
"From 'Adi ibn Hatim: I was with the Prophet, pbuh, in his city
(Madina)
when a man came and complained of starvation.
Another man came and complained of highway robbery.
He (the Prophet) said: O 'Adi have you seen Hira (in
Iraq).
I said: I have not seen it but I have heard of it. He (the Prophet) said:
If you live long enough, you will see a frail woman travel from Hira (to
Makka)
alone and do the tawaf of the Ka'aba and have fear of none but Allah.
"I thought (to myself) what will happen to the robbers from the tribe of
Tay who have spread havoc in those lands?
"He (the Prophet) went on to say:
If you live long enough, you will open the treasury of Khowsrou
(and distribute it).
"I asked: You mean Khowsrou the son of Hormuz? (Persian emperor)
"He (the Prophet) said: (yes), Khowsrou, the son of Hormuz,
and if you live long enough,
you will see one going out with gold and silver but unable to find anyone
to accept it from him.
Surely each one of you will meet Allah (on the Day) without an intermediary
and Allah will say: Didn't I send you a messenger to teach you?
The person will say: yes. Allah will say:
Did I not give you wealth and bestow my favors on you? The person will say:
yes. Then to both sides of him, he will see hell fire.
"'Adi adds: Then I heard the Prophet say (pbuh):
Save yourself from the fire even if it is with half a date given in charity.
If you don't have even that, then at least say a word of good feeling.
" 'Adi adds: (Much later) I saw that a frail woman could travel from Hira
to perform the tawaf of the Ka'aba and she had none to fear except Allah.
And I was myself one of those who opened up and distributed the wealth of
Khowsrou; and if you live long enough, you will see the word of the Prophet,
the DISTRIBUTOR, coming true about going forth with gold, etc."

ALLAMA IQBAL DENOUNCED TURKISH TYRANT KEMAL "ATATURK" BY NAME:
Secularist Idols Imported from Europe
[Pakistani
readers may be aware of the propaganda in some circles that the visionary
of Pakistan, Iqbal, favored the work of Kemal and the ideology of kemalism.
The following correspondence from the President of Iqbal Society,
Chicago,
clarifies Iqbal's view of Kemal -Editor]
Dear Professor Khawaja Masud Sahib:
I read you article with interest.
You quote Iqbal's initial enchantment with Mustafa Kamal as if that was
Iqbal's permanent opinion.
Iqbal was pleased with Kamal's military steadfastness against the Greek
forces where Kamal had exhorted his men to fight for the
Quran.
You do not note that it was a passing phase in Iqbal's assessment of the
'New'
Turkey.
Initial euphoria gave way to pessimism when Iqbal realized the damage Kamal
had done to the Ummah.
Kamal negotiated the departure of British troops from Istambul on the
condition of abolishing the Khilafat.
Iqbal condemns Mustafa Kamal by name in his Javid Nama and calls his
modernist innovations Lat-o-Manat and old farangi baggage.
As Iqbal uses Kamal's first name, Mustafa,
he puts a foot note in to make certain that there is no room for error as
to the identity of this Mustafa.
Now, can there be stronger indictment than that.
I think your readers require a clarification from you and certainly those
familiar with Iqbal's work will find your use of Iqbal in this context
highly questionable.

1.)
Mustafa Kemal, who sang of a great renewal,
said the old image must be cleansed and polished;
yet the vitality of the Kaaba cannot be made new
if a new Lat and Manat from Europe enter its shrine.
No, the Turks have no new melody in their lute,
what they call new is only the old tune of Europe;
no fresh breath has entered their breast,
no design of a new world is in their mind.
