NOVEMBER 10 MOVEMENT TO RE-CONVENE in GREENSBORO, NC
Imam Jamil's Case Shows Justice for the Oppressed Needs big Effort
ENRON Bankruptcy Shows Hollowness of American Power Structure
Dear Muslims and people of conscience: asalamu alaikum
The very first days of the new phase in the trial of Imam Jamil
al-Amin
have shown the low chances of justice for oppressed people in America.
The
American legal system admitted that the chances of justice are low by
putting
off the trial to January, but on the very first day of jury selection,
Imam
Jamil's phone privileges were taken away.
Why? Because Imam Jamil had sent out a message attesting to the truth
of
Islam, affirming his faith and stressing his innocence. He addressed
the
issue of the death penalty and critiqued its application in an
oppressive,
materialistic society.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Imam Jamil's case is a clarion call to the oppressed people of America
to
unite, stand up and be counted. If you let this injustice happen, it
will be
open season for the fascist attack on whatever decency exists in
America.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We must organize and resist with a clear program and agenda. The
oppressive
regime of Bush-Ashcroft-Rumsefield sent America's already flagwaving
Muslims
into deep freeze of "forgive us: we are loyal: we love master."
In these dark days, the November 10 Movement was a ray of light for
Muslims.
We gained support from activists all over America. Now it is time to
extend
the organization and mobilize support for Imam Jamil, Shaikh Omar Abdel
Rahman, Mumia Jamal, Leonard Peltier, Ahmed Ajaj, Marshal Conway and
all
political prisoners.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
AT IMAM BADI ALI's INVITATION, the next leadership meeting of the
November 10
Movement will be held in Greensboro, North Carolina on FEBRUARY 10
(Sunday),
Zuhr to Maghrib. IF YOU SHARE THE IDEALS OF THIS STRUGGLE, please join
us.
You can ask for your invitation by email or phone. The phone number is:
410-435-5000.

PART I. This is to support the potential and call for the
peaceful and
practical development of the Muslim world united under Islam as the
world's
leading economic, social, moral, religious and military force with
common
values and beliefs for the common good of humankind.
In order to form a perfect union, the foundation must be based on
perfection. Allah ta'ala said in His final revelation, these words:
"THIS DAY
I HAVE PERFECTED FOR YOU YOUR RELIGION AND COMPLETED MY FAVOR UNTO YOU
AND
HAVE CHOSEN FOR YOU AS RELIGION, AL-ISLAM." Consequently we proceed in
the
Way of Allah to call upon and challenge Muslim leaders here and abroad
to:

and
without compromise in all aspects of life.

with the

and
wars that oppress Muslim peoples and Muslim lands.

occupied Palestine. Those who desire to stay must agree to live in
peace
under an Islamic government and pay the necessary Jizyah taxes
according
according to Islam.
11. Object to American race-based discrimination and systemic racism.
12. Object to Cultural Imperialism and domestic cultural practices
designed
to promote moral decay and weaken family values.
PART II:
1. Education, Da'wah, organizing, reconciling and tolerance are all
vital
components of the Islamic movement. Muslims who take opposing views
should
not be quickly shunned.

ourselves
and our prospective communities and masajid to:
* Share information and ideas
* Provide manpower and financial support to each other when possible
and
needed.
* Provide/share any other tactical and technical support as available
and
needed.
3. Develop emergency survival programs in our masajid and communities.
4. Develop, train and establish the best possible team of
representatives to
meet with Muslim leaders in Afghanistan and other parts of the world.
5. Develop high quality web sites.
6. Set up legal assistance committees.
PART III.
1. Preserve the Islamic identity and strengthen the Islamic personality.
2. Carry the Islamic message in its totality to the West.
3. Create awareness on western plans against Islam and Muslims to
expose and
annul them when possible.
4. Take political stance that confronts and knocks down the regimes in
the
Muslim world that depend on western support for their existence.

situations.
