Jamaat al-Muslimeen International Press Release
Why do you not speak Against U.S. Military Presence?
King Fahd: Khadim (Servant) or Khain (trust breaker)?
Islamic Activist Brings out ICNA's Hidden Connection
After carrying out a campaign of arrest and intimidation against the
authentic 'ulema of Arabia, like Safar al-Hawali, al-Awdah, and many
others, the Saudi King Fahd appointed his agents to be imams of the most sacred
mosques of Islam. The one appointed to the Masjid-e-Nabawi was ICNA's
special guest during the Baltimore conference June 30-July 2.
The ICNA program brochure introduces him as "Imam al-Haram al-Madani."
Of course the man has no Islamic credentials of truthfulness or honesty
about the issues.
INCIDENT NUMBER ONE: This imam lead the Juma' prayer at the start
of ICNA's conference. From the khutba it seemed as if the imam was
totally ignorant of the devastating tragedies and upheavals the Muslim world is
going through. Following the prayer, Shaikh Abdus Sattar al-Dahir (from New
Orleans) went up to the imam and very nicely asked him in Arabic why he
had not spoken about the suffering of the Muslim ummah at the hands of the
Zionists and the Imperialists. As one who speaks from the same place as the
Prophet (pbuh) spoke, is it not your duty to speak up against the presence of
American armadas in the Middle East, the devastation of Chechnya, the mass
death of Iraqi children, the rapes and murders of Muslims in Kashmir,
Br. Abdus-Sattar asked?
Instead of answering any question, the Saudi-appointed imam quickly
left with Saudi embassy security agents.
INCIDENT NUMBER 2: ICNA's leaders then brought the Saudi-appointed
imam to address the general assembly. In his rambling speech, the appointee
praised King Fahd and called him KHADIM al-HARAMAIN (servant of the two
holy cities). At this Shaikh Abdus-Sattar got up and said the following:
1. Fahd is not KHADIM but KHAIN (one who breaks trusts)
2. There is no kingship in Islam
3. It is HARAM to call the land of Allah after a family (SAUDI) as if it is a family estate.
4. Speak out against the American mililtary presence in the Middle East.
5. Speak out against the U.S. sanctions on Iraq which are
causing mass death of Iraqi children. Saudi Fahd supports the
sanctions even more than the U.S.
At this ICNA's security grabbed Shaikh Abdus Sattar and one thug
put his hand on the brother's mouth to silence the words of truth.
WHO IS SHAIKH ABDUS SATTAR ad-DAHIR? Physically small, spiritually
very strong, he has spent his life in seeking acceptance by Allah. He has
sacrificed his wealth, health and comfort for the sake of the Deen. It
will be enough to state that the brother has done more to help Iraqi
children than even Ramsey Clark has done.
While travelling from mosque to mosque to collect funds and
medicines for Iraqi children, he sleeps in mosques, not in hotels, so that
not one dollar of his wealth should be spent on being comfortable while
working for Allah's DEEN.
Many Muslims in America know him as one who helps the poor and the needy.
Politically he is fearless. He and his wife have spoken out openly in
defense of Shaikh Omar 'Abdel Rahman. He is now part of the Committee to Free
Shaikh Omar 'Abdel Rahman (SOAR) and in that context he is with Jamaat
al-Muslimeen and a close friend of the Jamaat's Ameer Dr. Kaukab Siddique.
May Allah keep him safe from Saudi agents.
QUESTION: Should not the ummah know more about ICNA's SAUDI CONNECTION?
America's Muslims are not so dumb that they will continue to be fooled.
