THOUGHT OF THE DAY:
Both
Iraq
and
Afghanistan
show that there is no inevitability to America's victory in spite of its
unique fire power, intelligence services and money. In Iraq, the U.S. is
stuck and desperately wants to be bailed out by the "United Nations."
In Afghanistan, the Taliban are making a comeback and are beginning to
challenge U.S. troops in face to face battles.

COUSCOUS IS NOT JEWISH!

Cooking Light Magazine
Letter to the Editor:
For the past few months, I have noticed that you have started calling
Couscous "Israeli Couscous". That label is completely in error as Couscous
is a very Middle Eastern/ (Arab/Persian) dish-not Jewish. The majority of
people that live in
Israel
are from the United States, Russia, Europe and Ethiopia. Hamburgers,
Matzohs, bagels and borsch would be more appropriate for Israeli food, if
you feel that you have to put ethnic labels on food.
Having spent five years in the
Arabian
Gulf and frequented nearly every country in that region, I find what is
written above to be true.
I hope that in the future you are more sensitive to these issues. Let's
give credit where it is due.
Thanks and keep up the good work with your magazine.
Regards,

NEWS:
PALESTINE
On October 10, 2003 Israeli tanks and troops funded by the U.S. invaded
Rafah refugee near Gaza on the
Egyptian
border. They killed EIGHT Palestinians including two children.
In BAGHDAD, U.S. troops came under attack from Shi'ite Muslims. Two U.S.
troops were killed and 4 wounded.
[As New Trend had pointed out before the war began,
most Iraqi Shias are nationalists. Their leader in Baghdad is openly
anti-U.S. but does not support
Iran
either.]
Various news items on the Internet indicate that Iraqis are suffering
daily dead and wounded from U.S. military attacks. Only the U.S. losses
are reported in the
media
while the Iraqi losses are not mentioned at all.

NONE DARE REFER TO RUSH LIMBAUGH'S ISRAELI CONTACTS
AMERICAN
RACISM
and
ZIONISM
ARE TWO FACES of SAME COIN
Rush Limbaugh is important in the world of American radio talk shows. He
has a huge audience from coast- to-coast, mostly avid Republicans who
enjoy his Clinton bashing. Beneath the surface level political stuff,
Limbaugh has also perfected the art of racist commentary. He does it so
well that there is "deniability" built into his racism.
This time he stumbled and made a transparent remark about McNabb, a sports
star from Philadelphia.
CNN
and other pro-Democrat TV people immediately picked it up. From there it
went to the uncovering of Limbaugh drug addiction.
However, none of Limbaugh's critics dare mention his links with the racist
Likud party in Israel (occupied Palestine). Limbaugh is a great friend of
Sharon and was treated as a special guest when he visited Israel. Often
when Limbaugh is away and one or the other of his buddies run the show, it
turns out that they are even to the right of him in their support of
Israel.
Any study of Limbaugh would show that there is a deep connection between
racism in America and support for Israel.
