Air raid on a mosque in Afghanistan

* "Spectacular images" *

The online available video, "Killing Time", shows images of a US terrorist attack on a mosque in Afghanistan, February 2003.
The existence of these images is brought under your attention NOT to spread defaitism (to give in psychological on the enemy) but to provide evidence of US barbarism to educate the public and confront them with an imperialist war taking place every day.

Everyone is encourage to use these images (especially the longer Hi resolution version) to bring to trial those who gave the orders to commit these atrocities and those who followed up these commands.

In both fragments, filmed from aboard the attacking airplane, people visiting a mosque are targeted. At first some cars, parked before the mosque; are distroyed. The order is given not to target the mosque itself at that moment. When people come out of the mosque they are attacked as well as their cars. On the heat monitors of the US airplane individuals can be seen fleeing the mosque area. Orders are given to 'take them out'. Several kinds of ammunition are fired at anonymous fleeing people. This is clearly a war crime: none of the individuals can be identified as a soldier, an "illegal combatant", an Afghan, a Talban, man or women or what so ever. None of the people shot to pieces seems armed. There is no resistance: all try to flee the attack.

In the smaller low resolution video the mosque is hit without much comment. In larger high resolution version of this same attack the order, coming through the airplane's intercom, is given "to level the building". The fragment shows the mosque being bombed but the actual images of its destructions are cut out of this US-propaganda movie. Bombing a mosque is clearly an act of war against Islam.

Everyone is encourage to use these images (especially the longer Hi resolution version) to bring to trial those who gave the orders to commit these atrocities and those who followed up these commands.

Not in My Name (Afghanistan/War on Terrorism)
"Not in my name" is a powerful new documentary film which tells the story of the U.S. led war on terrorism you DIDN'T see on TV. Why is dropping bombs on or firing cruise missiles at innocent civillians not considered 'terrorism' by the Western military? "Not in my name" explains the background to the attacks on Afghanistan, charts the growth of the anti-war movement and offers a chilling insight to the dangers of U.S. led imperialism. Which country will NATO attack next? Who are the REAL terrorists? (from £10.00)
