With the increase in hate crimes against Jews in New York City, Mayor Mamdani has created a 33-page blueprint to curb them. This comes after a war of words with genocidal Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who accused Mayor Mamdani of inciting riots against Jews last week. Of course, Mayor Mamdani has never done this, but the NY1 article suggested that the blueprint was an effort for the Mayor to repair his relationship with Jewish New Yorkers.
The campaign proposes spending $1 million on increased security around synagogues and other houses of worship. Also, $6.4 million will go to community-based organizations such as the Jewish Community Relations Council that focus on hate crime prevention and survivor support.
The campaign will expand field trips to include the Museum of Jewish Heritage and add highlights of historical contributions of Jewish New Yorkers at LincNYC kiosks throughout the city. Mamdani issued a statement saying that "Antisemitism has no place in New York City. Jewish New Yorkers have helped build this city, shaped its culture and strengthened our communities for generations, and they deserve to be safe, celebrated and protected by a city government that stands with them."
The Mamdani administration will be investing in cultural institutions, which includes $2 million toward the completion of the Queens Holocaust Memorial and $2.5 million for Brooklyn's Center for New Jewish Culture in Central.

Spike Lee Altercation with Zionist Yankees Fan
Hours before the Yankees-Red Sox wild card game, Spike Lee was in the Yankees Lounge when a fan started heckling Lee over his pro-Palestinian stance. Reports say that the fan was filming Spike Lee eating and asked him how he felt about Palestine; then the fan asked Spike Lee to say, "F--- Palestine!" No, the F does not represent the word "Free."
Moments later, Spike Lee is seen on video being restrained as the fan was being escorted off the premises. As he was being restrained, Spike Lee could be heard asking, "Why'd you come over to me?"
Months earlier, at the 2026 NBA All-Star Game, Spike Lee went viral carrying a bag with the Palestinian flag. While doubling down on his political stance by stating his concern for "Palestinian children and civilians," in a statement, he did clarify that displaying the flag was not a personal jab at Portland Trail Blazers All-Star Deni Avdija, who is Israeli.

Every breath is a precious jewel.
Man has got for each day
and night twenty four treasure houses
in twenty four hours !
Fill up these then find them filled up
with divine sights in the world
If they are not filled up with good work... {?}
they will be filled up with intense darkness...
wherefrom a bad stench will come out and envelop them all around.
Another treasure house will neither
give him happiness nor sorrow...
That is an hour in which he slept,
or was careless,
or was engaged in any lawful work of this world.
he will feel grieved for its remaining vacant.
