A couple of days back my daughter drove me to Lincoln University. It was an hour more long drive.
I retired from Lincoln after working there for 40 years. This was a conference about Black Freedom.
The speaker was a brilliant young woman from Drexel University named Dr Tasneem Siddiqui.
She combined history with culture. She is a labor organizer.
She took on unusual topics such as land usage, backgrounds, mutual agreements, and much more .
Her teaching style was very inclusive and she inspired the room full of scholars of various races to think about our living style .
I realized why I enjoyed working for so many year at Lincoln.

War on Iran by Israel and Trump
Israel is a criminal entity which committed horrible crimes in Palestine. Instead of being punished Israel has the complete support of Trump.

According to latest news an Iranian strike destroyed an E3 Sentry aircraft of the US air force at Saudi air base which was used to spot Iranian moves.
Thousands of NO KINGS protests were held across America aimed at Trump and related to many issues [N.Y. Times ] .
Israel is a criminal entity which has not been punished although the International Criminal court has tried to arrest the criminal who is the leader of Israel.
Hormuz has been closed apparently to oppose air attacks by the US and Israel which have killed almost 2000 civilians in Iran. It is one sided thinking by Trump complaining that Hormuz is blocked.
Muslims in Yemen are stirring and are getting ready to block the Red Sea [Bab el Mandeb] .

Unfortunately, we didn't know the state of our Ummah. The place where I offered my Salaatul Eid, the Imam called out the name of Iran in passing during the Khutbah without any details or even a special Dua for the people and nation of Iran and her Martyrs.
Iran is standing up alone, with the exception of Yemen against tyranny of Western power. Many Muslim countries have bases of hostile nation against Iran. Looking at a map of Iran, it is scary, US forces has surrounded Iran, even going through other Muslim countries such as Pakistan and Afghanistan.
Fortunately, non-Muslim organizations are standing up to the President raising voices and Western countries have refused to participate in one-way war even when the US President is calling them out and even using threatening words.
Iran and Yemen cannot stand up alone, too long. They need to hear at least our voices and our Dua.
Some people started calling Iran a Shia country. It is true; however, my dear Muslims, they are Muslims. The Enemy of Islam and Muslims does not distinguish between Shia or Sunni, Pakistani or Irani, Indian or Afghani.
To the enemy we are all Muslims. When the time comes, we will all be termed hostile to the state.
We Muslims must join forces with other fellow Americans to stand up, raise our voices against Taghoot.
May Allah restore of our courage and support those who are standing up to correct our nation. Ameen.

Mahmoud Khalil Fighting Deportation
Mahmoud Khalil, the former Columbia University Palestinian activist, is fighting deportation. The Federal government has accused Khalil of having ties to Hamas, among other things, and wants to deport him to either Syria or Algeria. He has citizenship in both countries. He is a legal U.S. resident, while his wife is an American citizen.
In January 2026, a ruling stated that the New Jersey federal judge who ruled against Khalil's deportation earlier did not have the right to do so. The January 2026 ruling allowed for the federal government to move ahead with the deportation process. Mahmoud Khalil's legal team is trying to get Judge Emil Bove removed from the 3 Judge panel of the 3rd Circuit Appeals Court set to hear his case because this judge previously acted as a Department of Justice official investigating student protestors. Khalil's lawyers believe this is a conflict of interest.
Judge Bove is the only one who can remove himself from the bench in this case. It is to his discretion, according to the Department of Justice, which has deferred to him in this matter. In the past, he has acted as President Trump's defense attorney, including in the "Hush Money" case.
The federal government has not produced any evidence or charges linking Khalil with Hamas or any criminal activities. Khalil claims the deportation is punishment for speaking out against the Israeli genocide against the Palestinians.

Jaden Ivey 'Unrighteous' Comment
Christians can be so enthusiastic about their faith, especially "New Christians," as journalist Jemel Hill calls them. Train commutes can have someone delivering the message of Christ to all on board. They may even be unofficial: just a regular "Joe" telling everyone they are going to Hell unless they repent and take Jesus into their hearts.
Jemele Hill, on her YouTube Podcast, "Spotlitics," disagrees with the accusation, particularly by so-called right-wing Christians, that Jaden Ivey was waived from the NBA's Chicago Bulls team because of his Christian anti-gay beliefs. She made it a point to say that owners in a sports league that generates billions of dollars yearly don't make moral decisions; they make business decisions. Hill said that Ivey just wasn't "good enough" to create this media circus with his comments after having played in only 40 games since 2024. Each NBA team plays 82 games a season.
Jaden Ivey appears to agree with Jemele Hill by comparing his situation to Minnesota Timberwolves player Anthony Edwards using an anti-gay slur in 2022, and yet, remaining with his team. Ivey claimed that Edwards is still playing because Edwards makes the league money. Allen Iverson, Kobe Bryant, Anthony Edwards, and other NBA players have been fined for using gay slurs. Still, their talent was undeniable, as was the money they brought in for their team and the league.
Some NBA players have even assaulted women and have continued to earn paychecks from the league because they are a very talented player for their team. Moral issues are not what the league judges players by. It is about the player's profits.
The NBA did not decide to force Zionist Donald Sterling for his racially-charged comments. The league forced him out because he was bad for business. These pro-sports leagues have had no problem ridding themselves of the likes of Colin Kaepernick, Craig Hodges, and Mahmud Abdul-Ra'uf.
However, Jaden Ivey's career has been plagued by injuries, which is unfortunate. He was selected as the 5th overall pick in the NBA draft in 2022 by the Detroit Pistons. This 2025-2026 season, he was traded to the Chicago Bulls, but they decided to end his season so that he could rehab his leg injuries. It was during his time away from his team that he went on religious rants, which included him referring to Gay Pride month as "unrighteous," and the Bulls decided to waive him. Recently, NBA teams have celebrated Pride Night for certain home games.
Since being waived, he has gone on even more Instagram rants accusing certain NBA players, such as Steph Curry, of being fake Christians. Former teammates and other people around the league are saying that Ivey needs mental help. Jaden Ivey has revealed on an evangelical podcast that he had thoughts of suicide, which his wife successfully discouraged him from doing. He has revealed that he had been abusive toward his wife, was addicted to porn, and had been sexually abused as a child. Jemele Hill believes that "New Christian" Ivey could be using his faith as an escape from his demons rather than using it to overcome them.
During press conferences, Ivey would "salvation-check" reporters inquiring about his injuries and playing time by asking them if they were "saved" and if they engaged in fornication. He became a locker-room distraction. Many Christian players in the league praise God before beginning any interviews. Some have expressed concerns about Pride Nights in the NBA, but their team did not consider these players an issue; their teammates get along with them very well.
For those believing that Ivey's being waived was an attack on his free speech, Hill stated that free speech laws were meant to protect American citizens from government persecution, not against workplace punishments. The government is supposedly forbidden from jailing people who criticize it. But private sector employees can be transferred or terminated for using what is considered to be offensive language, and many company policies operate to that effect - legally.

Mayor Mumdani Heckled at Passover Seder
For some reason, Muslim Mayor Zohran Mamdani was invited by Jewish entrepreneur Michael Dorf to his 33rd annual Passover seder. Gay Israeli-American comedian Modi Rosenfeld cancelled his own appearance at the last minute once he found out Mamdani would be there.
While Mamdani was speaking, a heckler shouted, "Every Jewish organization is a target." Dorf hushed the heckler. Afterwards, other attendees remarked about the tense atmosphere. These types of events are used to bootlick politicians, but Mamdani has made it clear that he does not support Israel. A liberal Rabbi and Israeli musician were featured at the event.
If he were a private Muslim leader, he could pass on these types of Zionist invitations (and should), but as a New York City mayor, he represents everyone, at least this is how non-White male politicians think. If Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) had a hard time dealing with heckling Jews, then why would Mayor Mamdani be exempt from such a thing?

'If he/she are amongst the inmates of Paradise
they are shown their seat) from amongst the inmates of Paradise {!}
and if he is one from amongst the denizens of Hell
(they are shown their seat) from amongst the denizen of Hell {!}
and it would be said to him:
'That is your seat until Allah raises you on the Day of Resurrection'.

When the servant is placed in his grave and his companions retrace their steps he hears the noise of their footsteps
then two [2] Angels come to him and make him sit and say to him...
'What you have to say about this person

If he is a believer, he would say...
I bear testimony to the fact that he is
a servant of Allah and His Messenger.
Then it would be said to him...
Look to your seat in the Hell Fire, for Allah has substituted
(the seat of yours) with a seat in Paradise {!}
