How The Arab and Israeli Leaders Betrayed Humanity?
Dehumanization of Palestinian People by Design
by Mahboob A. Khawaja, PhD
Unthinkable is fast becoming thinkable. Ignorance and arrogance tend to lead power politics and daily bombardments, killings of fellow human beings by starvation, crimes against humanity and perpetuated genocide as if a feeble age of time, place and horrors are new normal. France, the UK and Canada plans to recognize the State of Palestine.
Most urgently needed is to organize a multi-national UN force to stop the Israeli war, provide security and foods to the people and restore trust in a caring global community.
West European leaders were complicit in Israeli policies of continued occupation and annexation are waking up after public demonstrations against their practices and support of the Zionist State.
Democracy, international laws to safeguard mankind, Geneva Conventions and the Convention on Genocide sound mysterious mythologies of human rights, freedom and social justice ordained in their dubious and deceitful concepts and explanations lacking rational implementation.
Global leaders were supposed to be knowledgeable and wise to know the facts of life and change their directions but act like smart monkeys discarding their own history.
At the highest pinnacle of power, they exhibit a hybrid culture, part human and part wild beast discarding the civilized laws and norms of civility.
Shame to the so-called elected leaders of Israel and the authoritarian oil pumping Arab leaders unaware of the consequences of their wrong thinking and action not being able to stop the bloodbath across Palestine.
When cold blooded massacres are a daily event, foods and medicines are blocked and starvation becomes a weapon to dehumanize mankind, no conscientious leaders dare to stop the war against Gaza as if Palestinians are not normal human beings.
We, the People recall the Divine reminder:
Why were there not,
Among the generations before you,
Persons possessed of balanced good sense, prohibiting (men)
Form mischief in the earth
Except a few among them
Whom We saved (from harm),
But the wrong-doers pursued the enjoyment of good things
Of life which were given them and persisted in sin.
Nor would thy Lord be the One to destroy communities for a single wrongdoing; If its members were likely to mend.
Quran: 11:116 - 117
Tyranny is powerless and transitory. Implied absurd propositions using war as a means of greed, political manipulation and occupation of Gaza and the rest of Palestine generate catastrophic consequences for humanity. Israel and America appear to be on the same page of strategic thoughts and actions. Their plans and collaboration are nothing new but riddled with intrigues and necessities of conflicts and weapon sales to control the puppet and mindless Arab leaders. The Arab States have no competent leadership and no armies to defend its people, faith and culture.
Despite the Israeli bombardments of Gaza and forcible displacement of civilians across the West Bank of Palestine, life continues on this planet (Earth- a living entity) floating by the Will of God. The Earth bombed by ignorant leaders floats by the Command of God in space without any pillars and not by any legislative action. It is meant for you – a moral and intelligent human beings. Don't you know that day changes into night (otherwise, life will cease to exist), sun and moon in your service, oxygen and climate changes, water to drink, seas to travel, mountains, oil, gases, it has all the minerals needed in all the times, in case you forgot, it has uranium to make weapons ( bombs dropped on fellow human beings, recall Hiroshima and Nagasaki too), and now Gaza and Ukraine in daily reports. Those dropping bombs on earth are not normal beings, not leaders of any civilized society but sadistic minds focused on individualistic triumphs and glory. [Continued]

Running the Bix-7 for Palestine
by Nadrat Siddique
The Bix-7 is a world-famous race which I'd longed to do for decades. It is run in a mostly White, highly military area, home to the Rock Island Arsenal of the US Army. The military is the biggest employer in the area.
I was proud to run it in my "Free Palestine" shirt, representing my running club, the Baltimore-based Runners4Justice. I ran for a free Palestine, and a dismantling of the last colonial-settler state, and to draw attention to these indisputable facts:
Israeli criminals are starving Palestinians, then shooting them when they come to aid centers desperately trying to get food;
The Gaza Humanitarian Fund, which is charged with disbursing aid in Gaza is a farce, and is aiding and abetting the shooting of starving Palestinians. UN and genuine aid agencies must be let in to avoid mass death by starvation;
Under the Geneva Convention, it is the right of a people under occupation to resist, including by force of arms.
American readers, please ask yourself these questions:
Is it okay with you that your tax dollars are going to fund a genocide?
Why is it okay to starve Palestinian children?
What if it were your children?
What will you do to counter the genocide being committed in your name?
On a Personal Note
The race started with multiple jingoistic songs (in addition to the usual national anthem), which rather sickened me, considering the outright slaughter and starvation this government has visited upon Palestine in the last 2 years. I kept thinking, "How can a highly educated public be THAT brainwashed, as to not see a genocide when it occurs before their very eyes? And to continue behaving as if everything is normal?"
There were approximately 14,500 runners registered for the race, but only 10,200 actually ran and finished, perhaps due to the heavy rains which delayed the race start for one hour. (For a major race to be delayed is highly unusual.)
I ran the 7-mile course in 1:01 (read "1 hour, 1 minute). I ended up with an official pace of 8:47 min/mile. I slipped on mud at least twice, but caught myself each time; the core training paid off!
I was #13 in my division (out of 170). I was pretty happy with that, considering I slept very little (5 hrs, 4 hrs, then 2 hrs on the three nights prior), due to caregiver responsibilities for a family member leading up to race day.
I was thrilled to have three beautiful sahaba from the local area join me in running for Palestine. I knew they were participating in the race, but I didn't realize they, too, were doing it for Palestine. More and more people are taking a principled stance against Israeli occupation.
We were in the rain nearly the entire time, which I was okay with, since it was previously almost 90 degrees. The race is reputed to be very HILLY, and I was a bit worried how I'd do on little sleep. It turned out to be not nearly as bad as I was expecting, after training in Ellicott City and Columbia. If I had done it years ago, I might not have been able to handle it. And- alhamdulillah for all things!
Columbia Pays $220 Million
By Sis Aisha
Jamaat Al-Muslimeen, New York
Columbia University has agreed to pay $220 million to the federal government as a further repercussion (or groveling) for not adequately protecting Zionist students during the 2024 pro-Palestinian protests on its campus.
The Trump Administration is in ongoing talks with Harvard University over the same issue.
The Trump Administration is withholding $400 million from Columbia and $4 billion from Harvard University. According to the Associated Press, Harvard has indicated they would be willing to pay as much as $500 million in restitution to the federal government.
Brown University paid the Trump Administration $50 million.
At one time, Columbia University allowed wealthy students to bring their slaves with them on campus. They've created homelessness in the name of expansion in Harlem.
Some of America's Founding Fathers attended Ivy League schools. They are America's oldest educational institutions and were founded to maintain a biased status quo, not to fight the power! Their payouts are not surprising.
Midtown Shooting on Park Avenue
By Sis Aisha
Jamaat Al-Muslimeen, New York
Shane Tamura, 27 years old, shot and killed five people, including himself on Monday, July 28th. He traveled from Las Vegas, Nevada to New York City with an automatic rifle.
CNN has received a barrage of criticism for suggesting the shooter may have been White. But, these types of mass shootings are usually carried out by angry White men.
According to Tamura's 3-page suicide letter, his target was the National Football League ((NFL), which has a headquarters at 345 Park Avenue, where the shooting occurred. Tamura, a star high school football player, claimed he had chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) and blamed football and the NFL for it. He got off on the wrong floor during his rampage.
As in the case of rabies in infected animals, CTE can only be diagnosed after death in humans. Tamura's brain will be examined. Some of the symptoms of CTE include aggression, emotional instability, and suicidal thoughts. These symptoms are also the side effects of prescription meds that treat depression, mental disorders, and injuries.
Prescription drug side effects should be researched because athletes are given higher doses of these medications than the average person. Psychiatric medication was found in Tamura's Las Vegas apartment.
In all of 2024, there were 503 mass shootings, which is when 4 or more people are murdered, not including the shooter, according to the Gun Violence Archive. However, in 2025, including the August 1st Owl Bar shooting in Montana, there have been 256...so far.

Officer Didarul Islam, a Bangladeshi immigrant, was posthumously promoted to detective, as is the custom for fallen NYPD officers. The 36-year-old father of two, with a child on the way, was working as a security guard at 345 Park Avenue when he and another security guard, Aland Etienne, were shot. Detective Islam was shot in the back. His janaza was on Thursday, July 31st.

"And those who, when they commit an indecency
or do injustice to their souls remember Allah..."
Allah says:
"And those who, when they commit an indecency or do injustice to their souls, remember Allah and ask forgiveness for their sins and who forgives sins but Allah.
and (who) do not knowingly persist in what they have done. For such the reward is forgiveness from their Lord,
and Gardens with rivers flowing underneath
an eternal dwelling.
How excellent a recompense for those who work (and strive)!"
[Source: 'Qur`aan'~ Sûrat Al `Imrân : 135-136]
This is one of the many passages of the Qur`âan that discusses sincere repentance, informing us that when a person repents sincerely and fulfills the conditions of true repentance,
then his reward is forgiveness for his sins,
atonement for his mistakes, and admission into Paradise.
In the same vein are two other passages of the
Qur`aân that we should make note of...
Allah says:
"And those who do not invoke any other god along with Allah, nor take the life which Allah hath forbidden save in (course of) justice, nor commit adultery - and whoso does this shall pay the penalty; The punishment will be doubled for him on the Day of Resurrection, and he will abide therein disdained forever, unless he repents, believes, and works righteous deeds, for Allah will change their evil deeds to good deeds, and Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful"
[ Source: 'Qur`aan'~ Sûrat al-Furqân : 68-70]
Allah also assures us:
"Say: O my Servants who have transgressed against their souls! Despair not of the Mercy of Allah: for Allah forgives all sins: for He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."
[ Source: 'Qur`aan'~ Sûrat al-Zumar : 53]
Ibn `Abbâs relates to us the context in which these two passages were revealed. We can see in this account a firm assurance of forgiveness for those who repent sincerely.
Ibn `Abbâs says:
A group of people had killed and been excessive in killing, had committed adultery and been excessive in doing so, and had committed heinous crimes. They came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and said: "O Muhammad! What you say and what you call towards is something good. If only you could inform us of some atonement for what we have done."
Then Allah revealed:
"And those who do not invoke any other god along with Allah..." up to the point "Allah will change
their evil deeds to good deeds."
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:
"Allah will change your polytheism to belief
and your adultery to chastity."
Also revealed at this time was:
"Say: O my Servants who have transgressed against their souls ! Despair not of the Mercy of Allah: for Allah forgives all sins: for He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."
[Source: Sahîh al-Bukhârî # (3855) and Sahîh Muslim #(122)]
The conditions of repentance,
as can be understood from the texts, are as follows:
1. Abstinence from committing the sin .
2. A firm resolve never to return to the sin.
3. Regret for having committed the sin in the first place.
[If his sin involved any injury to another party,
then one or both of the following two conditions may apply]
4. Restoring the rights of others that may have been violated.
5. Redressing the wrong or the injury that he may have inflicted upon others.
There are those who transgress the limits of Allah and die in such a state without ever bothering to repent for their sins, or who offer repentance without fulfilling its conditions.
They meet their Lord carrying their sins upon their backs unatoned for, and when their deeds are weighted in the balance, their evil deeds outweigh the good
that they have done.
Abû Hurayrah (r.a.) relates how the Prophet (peace be upon him)
described such people to his Companions:
Prophet (peace be upon him) asked:
"Do you know who is bankrupt ?"
They replied: "The bankrupt person is one who has
no silver coin and no provision."
He said: "In fact, the bankrupt person from among my people is the one who comes to the Day of Resurrection with prayers, fasts, and charity to his credit, but he had spoken ill of someone, slandered someone else, misappropriated someone's money, shed someone's blood, and assaulted someone else. Thereupon his good deeds will be given over to this one and to that one. If his good deeds run out before his account is complete, then some of their evil deeds will be taken and cast upon him. Then he will be cast into the Fire."
[Source: Sahîh Muslim # (2581)]
The Prophet (peace be upon him) also said:
"Whoever has upon his account some injustice that he has perpetrated against his brother, then he should free himself from it, for there will be no gold or silver coin (in the Hereafter) that will avail him against his good deeds being taken from him and given to his brother.
And if he has no good deeds, then his brother's sins
will be taken and foisted upon him."
[Source: Sahîh al-Bukhârî # (6534)]
Worse than that are those who commit evil deeds while construing them as lawful, who feel secure in what they are doing from Allah's scheme and His punishment.
Thawban relates a discussion the Prophet (peace be upon him) had with him wherein he describes some people whose transgression against Allah's limits is most severe:
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:
"I know of a people from within my 'Ummah'
who will come on the Day of Resurrection with good deeds like the Tihama Mountains in quantity, pure and white.
Allah will make those deeds like dust scattering in the wind."
Thawban then said: "O Messenger of Allah! Describe them to us. Make them known to us so that we will not be of them without realizing it."
He said: "They are your brethren and your countrymen.
They take from their nights (for prayer) as you do.
However, they are people who when they are alone
with the limits of Allah, they violate them."

{ *KHADIJAH BINT KHUWAYLID* (Radi Allahu Anha ~ ( رضي الله عنها) ) }~
Narrated Abu Hurairah: Jibril (Gabriel) came to the *PROPHET* ﷺ
" "O Allah's Messenger! This is Khadijah, coming to you with a dish having meat soup (or some food or drink). When she reaches you, greet her on behalf of her Lord (Allah) and on my behalf, and give her the glad tidings of having a palace made of Qasab in Paradise, wherein there will be neither any noise nor any toil, (fatigue, trouble, etc.)."
[Source~ Al-Bukhari]
'Abdullah bin 'Abbas narrated that one day the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) drew four lines on the earth and asked his Companions if they understood what these lines stood for. They respectfully replied that he knew better. He then told them that these lines stood for the four foremost ladies of the universe. They were Khadijah bint Khuwaylid, Fatimah bint Muhammad, Maryam bint Imran, the mother of the Prophet Issa (peace and blessings be upon him) and 'Asia bint Muzahim (the wife of the Pharaoh).
She was the first person to have an abiding faith in the utterances of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and to accept Islam as her religion and her way of life. She was blessed with the distinction of having been greeted with Salam (greetings) by Allah and the Angel Jibril.
Khadijah (r.a.) was born in Makkah in the year 556 CE. Her mother's name was Fatimah bint Zayd, and her father's name was Khuwaylid bin Asad. He was a very popular leader among the tribe of Quraysh, and a very prosperous businessman who died while fighting in the famous battle of Fujjar. Khadijah thus grew up in the lap of luxury. She married Abu Halah Malak bin Nabash bin Zarrarah bin At-Tamimi and bore him two children, Halah and Hind. She wanted to see her husband prosper and financed him in setting up a big business. But unfortunately he passed away. Sometime later the young widow married 'Atique bin 'Aith bin 'Abdullah Al-Makhzumi, and she had a daughter by him as well named Hinda, but the marriage soon broke up on grounds of incompatibility. After this all her attention was devoted to the upbringing of her children, and building up the business she inherited from her father. Her astuteness and business ability made her business one of the most widespread businesses among the Quraysh.
Her policy was to employ hardworking, honest and distinguished managers to deal on her behalf as a lot depended on the integrity of the employees who travelled far and wide on her behalf. She exported her goods to far away markets like Syria, and her managers bought goods from those markets to be sold at home.
Khadijah (r.a) had heard of the integrity, honesty and principled behavior of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and sent a job offer to him to head her trading caravans. He gladly accepted the offer and started working for her.
Khadijah sent him on a business trip; her old and trusted slave Maysarah being delegated to accompany and serve him.
Maysarah was impressed by the Prophet's integrity, strength of character, adherence to principles, his amicable dealings and his business abilities. On the way back from Syria, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) lay down under a tree to rest for a while. Nestora, a Jewish monk, noted for his knowledge of religion and for his insight saw him and asked Maysarah who he was. Maysarah told him all about Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and his reputation for honesty and intelligence.
Nestora then told him that this man would be elevated to Prophethood in the future, as no man had ever rested under that particular tree but Prophets.
Tradition has it that Maysarah also saw two angels bearing a cloud over Prophet's head to protect him from the glare and heat of the sun.
When he returned home Maysarah reported to Khadijah all that had taken place on the trip to Syria. She was deeply moved and impressed, and started thinking of proposing marriage to Muhammad. But how could she express her thoughts to him ? She already rejected several proposals of marriage from men belonging to some of the noblest families of the Quraysh. How would her tribe react ? What would her family say ? And what was more, would her proposal be acceptable to this young, yet unmarried man of the tribe of Quraysh?
As she pondered over these questions and debated within herself, one night she dreamt that the shining sun had descended from the heavens into her courtyard, radiating her home. When she woke up she went for the interpretation of this wonderful dream to her cousin, Waraqah bin Nawfal, a blind man noted for his skill in interpreting dreams, and for his depth of knowledge, particularly of the Torah and the Injil. When he heard her dream, he gave a serene smile, and told her not to worry, as this was a very promising dream. The glorious sun she saw descending into her courtyard indicated that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) whose advent had been predicted in the Torah and the Injil was to grace her home and she would gain from his presence in her life.
After this meeting with Waraqah she became stronger in her desire to marry Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). One of her very close friends, Nafisah bint Manbah knew of her inclination and she went to Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and requested his permission to ask him a very personal question. When he said he had no objection, she asked why he had not yet got married. He said he did not have the financial resources. Then she asked him if he would be willing to marry a beautiful lady from a noble and wealthy family, who was inclined towards marriage with him. He asked whom she was referring to; when he learnt her identity he said that he was willing, provided she was willing to marry him. Khadijah' (RA) was overjoyed.
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was then twenty-five (25) years of age and Khadijah (RA) was forty (40) years old. (According to one tradition, she was twenty-eight). The two uncles of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) Hamzah and Abu Talib approached her uncle, 'Umar bin Asad, with the formal proposal. It was accepted and the two families began preparing for the wedding. Halimah As-Sa'diyyah who nursed the Prophet in his infancy was specially invited for the wedding and travelled to Makkah from her village. When she left after the festivities, Khadijah presented her with household goods, a camel and forty goats as an expression of gratitude to the lady who had taken such good care of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) in his infancy.
Khadijah was very blessed in the marriage, and had six children. First two sons, Qasim and 'Abdullah; then followed the daughters, Zaynab (RA), Ruqayyah (RA), Umm Kulthum (RA) and Fatimah (RA). It was a very happy, peaceful and content household, but Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) felt something was missing, and he was extremely restless. He would retire for a month once a year to the cave of Hira to dedicate himself entirely to prayer and meditation. One day he felt the presence of another being that held him in his arms in a tight embrace. Then he loosened his hold and asked him to read; Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) answered that he was illiterate. But the person repeated the same act and the phrase again and again. Then finally he read these Ayat which are the first revelation of the Quran.
They are from Surah Iqra or Al-'Alaq.
"Read! In the Name of your Lord Who has created (all that exists). He has created man from a clot. Read! And your Lord is the Most Generous. Who has taught (the writing) by the pen. He has taught man that which he knew not."
[Source~ Quran ~96:1-5]
Then the being disappeared. This was such an awesome experience that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) returned home sweating and shaking. He called out to Khadijah asking her to cover him with a sheet or a blanket. When he had calmed down to some extent, he told his wife that he feared for his life, and narrated the whole incident to her. Khadijah, a picture of loyalty and serenity consoled him saying that Allah would surely protect him from any danger, and would never allow anyone to revile him as he was a of man of peace and reconciliation and always extended the hand of friendship to all. He never lied, always hospitable, carried the burdens of others and helped those who were in trouble. These soothing and encouraging words of sympathy and understanding from Khadijah gave him immeasurable strength and confidence. She then took him to meet her cousin, Waraqah bin Nawfal, who immediately guessed the identity of the being in the Cave of Hira as the Angel Jibril (the Messenger of Allah ) who had visited Moses as well. Waraqah who was very old wished that he could live to see the time when the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) would be forced into exile by his people. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was very surprised and asked if his people would really do this to him. Waraqah assured him that it was typical of human beings that they would never appreciate or follow a Prophet who rose among them. Waraqah added that he wished he were alive at that time and be able to help him. He added that if what he had been told were true then surely it meant that her husband was the Prophet of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) whose advent had been mentioned in the scriptures.
The four daughters grew up to be faithful and courageous daughters of Islam. They all migrated to Al-Madinah, with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
Zaynab was married to Abu 'Aas bin Rabi'ah, Ruqayyah was married to 'Uthman (R.A.). When she passed away he married her sister Umm Kulthum; Fatimah was married to 'Ali bin Abi Talib (R.A.) The first three daughters died during the lifetime of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and his beloved daughter Fatimah lived just six months after he passed away.
When the disbelievers saw that Islam was attracting more and more followers in spite of all their tactics, they decided to declare an open and total political and economic boycott of the tribe of Banu Hashim. This took place in the seventh year after the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) declared himself the Messenger of Allah. This is also known in Islamic history as the Shi'ab Abi Talib.
It was so severe that innocent children faced starvation and hunger, and adults survived eating the leaves of trees. Yet the firm followers of Muhammad did not turn away from their true religion and they came out of the ordeal stronger and purer than before.
Khadijah who had been brought up in luxury in her wealthy father's home now faced the economic hardships with patience and courage, which are a necessary part of any siege. Khadijah's nobility of character and conduct pleased Allah, so much that He sent special greetings for her.
Khadijah was the ideal wife and mother. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) lived in her house which became a blessed place due to his presence and the fact that Jibril (peace and blessings be upon him) came often to visit him there with Qur'anic revelations. It became the centre of Islam, where all the Companions male and female visited often to partake of the hospitality of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and his wife.
After the Hijrah (migration) of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) to Al-Madinah, the house was occupied by the brother of 'Ali. Later Mu'awiyah bin Abu Sufyan who transcribed some of the Divine Revelations purchased this house and built a mosque. Thus the site of the house of Khadijah became a place of prayer and worship for all time. She had been used to praying two Rak'ah's of Salat (prayer), mornings and evenings with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) even before prayers were made compulsory by Allah. After accepting Islam she became more contemplative and inclined towards worship; she found a blessed feeling of peace in prayer.
Afif Kindi relates that 'Abbas bin 'Abdul Muttalib was a great friend of his and he used to visit him often in Yemen in connection with his business in perfumes. On one occasion when they were standing and chatting in Mina, they saw a handsome young man approach. He carefully washed his hands and feet and then stood respectfully with his arms crossed on his breast. Soon a dignified lady of noble bearing and a young handsome young lad joined him. 'Afif asked 'Abbas what they were doing and whether this was a new form of exercise. 'Abbas replied that the youth was his brother 'Abdullah's son, and the lady was his wife. She was a woman of great wealth and virtue, and an ideal wife and mother. The lad was his brother Abu Talib's son. Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) had announced that he was a Messenger of Allah and had started preaching a new religion called Islam. In due course 'Afif accepted Islam, but he always regretted the fact that he had not joined the Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and his Companions in their prayers and supplication on that memorable day in Mina, when he had first heard of Islam.
Khadijah passed away just three years before the Hijrah, or the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) migration to Al-Madinah. She died at the age of sixty-five, having given almost twenty-five years to Muhammad and the cause of Islam. When Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) saw her in the throes of death he consoled her saying Allah had so ordained it, and that the thing she was dreading, would prove favorable for her. Her eyes lit up and as she gazed at her beloved husband, her soul left its earthly body.
Her grave was prepared at a place called Hujjun, near Makkah. Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) stepped into it to see that everything was as it should be, and with his own hands lowered her gently into it. Thus, passed away the 'Mother' of all Muslims, the one who had sacrificed her all for Islam, the lady who was the greatest supporter of Islam in its earliest days. She who was the mother of Fatimah (RA), the First Lady of Paradise, the grandmother of the beloved grandchildren of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) Hasan and Hussein who are to be the foremost of the youths in Paradise.
When she passed away, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was heartbroken at the loss of a dedicated companion who stood by him during the most difficult period of his life.
One of the ladies of the Quraysh, Khawlah bint Hakim (RA), visited the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) to console him, and saw his state of depression and grief and remarked on it. He replied it was only natural that he should be touched by her absence, as she had been a loving mother to his now neglected children; she had been a loyal and sympathetic wife who shared his secrets. It was only human and natural that he should feel her loss as she was there for him during his most difficult times. Whenever he was abused by the disbelievers she had provided moral support and unflagging faith.
A Companion of the Prophet narrates that whenever any gift was brought to him he would immediately send it to some lady who had been a friend of Khadijah (RA). Ayshah (RA), a favourite wife of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) says that whenever a goat was slaughtered the Prophet it would send some meat to Khadijah's friends; when she remarked about this on one occasion he told her, 'I have great regard for her friends, as she has a special place in my heart.' Ayshah (RA) said she never experienced such a feeling of natural feminine jealousy for any other wife of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) as she did for Khadijah (RA). She also narrates that whenever Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) spoke of her he would talk at great length and praise her qualities, and pray for her forgiveness.
Ayshah (RA) narrates that whenever the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) talked about Khadijah (RA), it was in terms of the highest praise. One day her innate feminine envy overtook her sense of decorum and she spoke in disparaging terms of her, wondering why the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) missed her when he was blessed with a better, younger wife by Allah. This displeased him, but forbearing as he was, he just sighed and answered,
" "I have not yet found a better wife than her. She had faith in me when everyone, even members of my own family and tribe did not believe me, and accepted that I was truly a Prophet and a Messenger of Allah. She converted to Islam, spent all her wealth and worldly goods to help me spread this faith, and this too at a time when the entire world seemed to have turned against me and persecuted me. And it is through her that Allah blessed me with children."
As Allah says in Surah Al-Fajr in the Quran that it will be said to the pious believers...
"O the one in complete rest and satisfaction, come back to your Lord well-pleased (yourself) and well-pleasing (unto Him) Enter you then among My (honored) servants, and enter you My Paradise."
