Countrywide Strike against PPP and PDM.
They are ruining the country.
by Qaiser Sharif
LAHORE: September 02: A countrywide shutter-down strike was
observed on Saturday on the appeal of the Jamaat-e-Islami
(JI) Emir Sirajul Haq against the exorbitant electricity
bills.
The JI chief toured various markets in Lahore and expressed
his gratitude to the leaders of the trading community for
their support of JI's cause. Later, he addressed a protest
rally against inflation at The Mall, where he called upon
the caretaker government to reconsider its decision to
increase power tariffs, warning them of the public
frustration if they failed to do so.
The strike unfolded peacefully, sending a clear message to
the ruling authorities that the Pakistani nation sought its
rights without resorting to violence, he said.
Haq argued that the caretaker government lacked the
authority to make critical decisions, as such matters should
fall within the purview of elected public representatives.
He attributed the ongoing inflation to the policies of the
previous PDM and PPP administrations, noting that it also
represented a continuation of the ill-conceived economic
policies of the PTI. He criticized the former ruling parties
for capitulating to the IMF and entering into unfavourable
agreements with Independent Power Producers (IPPs). Haq
urged the government to combat power theft and reduce line
losses rather than burdening the poor. He questioned the
inclusion of various taxes in electricity bills and called
for an end to the provision of free electricity to
government officials and the ruling elite.
He took aim at the caretaker prime minister for his
statements on inflation, terming it against the ground
realities. He held the PDM and PPP's former unity government
responsible for the economic deterioration, asserting that
the former prime minister had put the last nail in the
coffin of the nation's economy before fleeing to London. The
two dominant political families, he said, were overall
responsible for the current state of unrest among the
people.
The JI leader stressed that the country needed political
stability, which could only be achieved if institutions
maintained their neutrality and remained apolitical. He
advocated for free and fair elections as the solution to the
nation's problems, calling for polls to be held within 90
days.
Meanwhile, markets and shops remained shut in Lahore but
also in Karachi, Peshawar, Quetta, and other major and minor
cities. JI leaders led protest rallies against inflation in
these cities, demonstrating widespread support for the
cause.

A woman can be a tyrant too

In a report in 2021, the United States-based Human Rights
Watch (HRW) said there was no trace of nearly 100 out of 600
people who disappeared in Bangladesh.
But the trend reduced significantly after December 10, 2021
when the US Department of Treasury sanctioned Bangladesh's
notorious security force, the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB),
and six of its officials for their involvement in enforced
disappearances and extrajudicial killings.
Since then, only five cases of such disappearances allegedly
by the RAB have been reported, according to Odhikar,
Bangladesh's foremost rights group which tracks incidents of
political violence and other violations.
Josef Benedict, Asia Pacific researcher for international
non-profit CIVICUS, said the reduction in enforced
disappearances following the US sanctions shows that "state
actors" were behind most incidents of enforced
disappearances in the last decade.
"This is what human rights groups and victims have been
saying for years," he told Al Jazeera, adding that the
declining number of cases also proves that sanctions are
having an impact and negatively affecting those in
power.
Concerns ahead of polls
But Odhikar director Nasiruddin Elan is still concerned.
"Even though abductions by RAB have declined, there are
still forced disappearances orchestrated by other state
actors," he said.
According to the group, at least 16 people disappeared in
Bangladesh between January and June this year. Fifteen
resurfaced alive while information regarding one victim
could not be ascertained, it said.
Elan said the police's Detective Branch is accused of
involvement in at least 20 enforced disappearances since the
US sanctions on RAB.
"Fortunately, all victims of such disappearances were later
produced and charged with seemingly false crimes like arson,
vandalism and terrorism," he told Al Jazeera. "But at least
their families got to know their whereabouts."
Al Jazeera reached out to officials at the Detective Branch
but they declined to comment on the matter.
Odhikar's Elan said he feared the number of disappearances
may increase as the country gears up for the national
elections, due by January.
"There are real concerns that we will see an escalation of
enforced disappearances ahead of the elections early next
year," he said.
"The international community must monitor the developments
and call out the government when such cases occur. They must
also stand with the families of the victims of enforced
disappearance and support efforts to ensure justice."
'Very angry'
Meanwhile, authorities in Bangladesh deny the involvement of
state agencies in enforced disappearances.
Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal told Al Jazeera there
was "no question of any involvement of our law enforcement
agencies".
"Those who are missing are mostly hiding by themselves," he
said, adding that police have already solved many of the
disappeared cases.
"If someone comes with a complaint of a missing person,
police take it seriously and conduct an investigation,"
Kamal said.
But Sanjida Islam, convener of Maayer Daak, termed the
government's denial a "great insult" to the families of the
victims.
"We have been looking for our near and dear ones for the
last 10 years. When they say people are hiding themselves,
it not only breaks our heart, but also makes us very angry,"
she told Al Jazeera.

'Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem'.
Assalaamualaykum Wa Rahmatuallahi Wa Barakatahu'.
Allah{Azza Wa Jal } says... " Their sides forsake their
beds, to invoke their Lord in fear and hope, and they
spend out of what We have bestowed on them, No person
knows what is kept hidden for them of joy as a reward for
what they used to do." { Source ~ Qur`an ~Surat
As-Sajdah~32~A#16-17 ~(The Prostration) }
Abu Hurairah {Allah have mercy on him} said that the
Prophet said... "Allah says I have prepared for My
servants what no eye has seen, no ear has heard and no
human heart can imagine."
Praying at night necessitates 'Jannah' as was previously
mentioned. Allah~{Azza Wa Jal } said... Verily, the
pious will be in the midst of gardens and springs, taking
joy in the things which their Lord has given them. Verily,
they were before this 'Muhsinun'. They used to sleep but
little of the night. And in the hours before dawn, they were
asking for forgiveness... ! and from their properties was
given the right of the beggar and the deprived.
{ Source~ Qur`an~ Surat Adh-Dhariyat ~51~ A # S -15 -19 }
Standing in Prayer at Night entitles one to the highest
levels in 'Jannah'.
Allah said to His Prophet "And in some parts of the night
offer the 'Salah' with it (i.e. recite the Qur'an) as an
optional 'Salah' for you. It may be that your Lord will
raise you to the highest level in 'Jannah'." { Source~ Qur`an ~Surat Al-'Isrā' (The Night
Journey)~A# 79}
Hence, He made the highest level in 'Jannah' the reward for
Prophet 'Tahajjud' Salat at night.
'Awn Ibn Abdullah {Allah have mercy on him} said..."Indeed
Allah will enter into 'Jannah' people who will be given
until they cannot accept anymore. However, there will be
people on the higher levels above them, and when they look
at them they will recognize them. They will say... " Our
Lord they are our brothers who used to be with us, By what
were they favored above us" ? He would say... "Indeed they
used to be hungry whilst you were all filled. They used to
be thirsty whilst you were all satiated, and they used to
stand whilst you were all asleep"
Al-Hasan Al-Basri {R} was asked about how is it that
those who perform 'Tahajjud' have the brightest faces...
to which he {Allah have mercy on him} replied.... "That is
because they secluded themselves in devotion to Allah so
He beautifies them with light from His light."
Karaz Ibn Wabrah said that it had reached him that Ka'b used
to say {Allah have mercy on them}--- "The Angels look
down from the sky at (holding in esteem) those who pray
'Tahajjud' just as you all look up to the stars in the
sky."
Some people complained to Ibn Mas'ud {Allah have mercy on
him } "We are not able to stand at night." he told
them... "That is because your sins have distanced you
all." It was said to Al-Hasan Al-Basri {R}--- "It is very
difficult for us to stand at night." he answered --- "
your sins are holding you back." ~My 'Salaams' to all~

Unusual Khutba
on Jinn
US Politics and Ummah
by Kaukab Siddique
0n September 1, br. Kaukab Siddique gave the juma' Khutbah
at masjid jamaat-al-Muslimeen in Baltimore.
After hamd and durood, he recited ayat al kursi in
Arabic
Br. Kaukab made the following points in his khutba:
Most Muslims do not know or understand chapter 72 of the
Qur'an, all of which is about Jinn
.In this chapter, Allah Almighty tells the Prophet, pbuh, to
tell the Muslims about the Jinn. The Jinn are a community
among themselves. Some of the Jinn have been listening to
the Prophet, pbuh, reciting the Qur'an, some of them
accepted the Islamic teachings
Thus Allah has created other beings than humans and they are
highly able to move around and take positions and activities
around humans, some good some evil.
Recently the United States has admitted the activities and
sightings of creatures from outer space. The visitors from
outer space move so fast that they quickly outpace the
fastest jets possessed by the U.S air force.
Are they Jinn? We don't know yet but they come from
intelligence sources far superior to those of the US.
American politics . How racism works.
Black officials are being used to file cases against Trump.
Bragg in New York. Willis in Georgia.
Why are White officials and white Jews not used?
It looks like a classic case of Divide and Rule.
Why are there no Black candidates for president? After
Malcolm and Dr. King were killed, we have nobody?
Part two.
The UMMAH concept is most important after tawheed and
risalat,Muslims are one ummah. Why do we have so many
nationalities.
Look at what is happening in Africa. So many little
countries tied to European powers.
Leaders are looting the masses.
We have political
prisoners, Aafia, Imam Jami and many more. Two million in
prisons,.
Why is the Ummah silent?
May Allah forgive our sins and shortcomings.

A truck driver is being hailed as a hero for rescuing
"approximately 15" kidnapped children trapped in a padlocked
cage in a harrowing incident of which the aftermath was
caught on video.
The truck driver, who goes by Michael, explained in a June
video how he witnessed a pickup truck in New Mexico on I-10
whose drivers unlocked a padlocked cage under a tarp in the
truck bed, from which several children emerged.
"I'm sitting at a rest area. This truck pulls up, opens up
the back. It's like a cage-looking thing... That guy and
this lady have a whole bunch of kids in the back of that
truck...And then they take the padlock off, raise the tarp,
and all these kids come out the back, and they're forcing
them into the bathroom," Michael said.
"When they coming back out, they were pushing the kids back
in there, locked them back in there, and pulled the f-cking
tarp down."
At the point, Michael sprang into action to save the
kidnapped children and followed them.
