LAHORE: July 13: Jamaat-e-Islami Emir Sirajul Haq has said
the government has not taken a single step towards the
implementation of the Federal Shariat Court's decision
during last 15 months despite promises.
The FSC, he said while addressing a seminar on economy here
on Thursday, had declared the Riba Act of 1839 un-Islamic in
its landmark judgement in April 2022.
Ishaq Dar, he said, had made a pledge during a sitting in
Karachi in presence of the head of the PDM Maulana Fazlur
Rahman and other religious scholars that the government
would take steps in line with the court's decision but the
latter failed to honor his words.
There are clear provisions of the Constitution against
interest-based economy and the Council of Islamic Ideology
made recommendations for introducing Islamic system of
economy, he said, adding the rulers of an Islamic country,
however, are unwilling to implement the constitution.
He said the people were expecting from the head of the PDM
that being a leader of a religious party he (Maulana Fazl)
would at least raise voice against the riba but the latter
disappointed the public. The PDM head, he said, expressed
concerns on different issues time and again against his own
government and never uttered a single word against riba.
Haq said the loans from the IMF would not provide any
solution to the economy until unless the government
introduced good governance, made check on corruption and
non-developmental expenditures.
Riba constitutes war against Allah Almighty and its Prophet
(PBUH) and the prosperity would not be achieved in presence
of this evil, he said, adding one of the worst impacts of
the interest-based economy was that it makes the rich richer
and the poor poorer.
The JI chief said 70 million people would pay zakat if the
government adopted the Islamic system of economy. The
poverty, he said, would eliminate even with the collection
of ushar.
He said the JI had promised to introduce interest-free
economy in its election manifesto and it would implement it
after coming into power with the votes of the people of

Serial KIller seemed "Normal" Guy

On Friday, July 14th, Rex Heuermann, a Long Island man, was
arrested for the alleged murders of three women. They were
among twelve bodies found at Gilgo Beach in Long Island.
Bodies turned up there back in 2011 and police have
maintained that these killings were not the work of one
person.
These bodies were mostly of women, a favorite target of
serial killers but there was one of an Asian male, as well.
All of the victims are believed to be sex workers. Heuermann
was a client of sex workers and it was DNA that tied him to
three of the alleged victims.
What disturbs people is that the suspect is an architect and
married father of two children. His company, RH and
Associates, worked on some major Manhattan buildings. Many
neighbors are saying he seemed like a normal man. But, I
read the lone comment to this Online story at the time and
the commenter noted that someone who knew Rex Heuermann
since being a teenager said that Heuermann always seemed
"off."
The racist media and many Americans never see people like
Rex Heuermann as a criminal. The media has successfully
poisoned Americans, especially White Americans, into seeing
dark-skinned, swarthy people as criminal elements. It skews
people's views leaving them open to harm (i.e. The Central
Park Jogger Rape Case).
Was Rex Heuermann a normal guy? Or, did people simply ignore
any red flags? In spite of his clientele and money, he lived
in his "ramshackle" childhood home with his family, which
had overgrown bushes around it. Some neighbors found that
weird. I guess, there is no homeowners association because
people have been chased out of neighborhoods for less!
There were instances where even police offered assistance to
serial killers. Three White police officers returned a
bloodied 14-year-old Laotian boy, Konerak Sinthasomphone,
back to Jeffrey Dahmer, who then strangled the boy!
Sociologist Dr. Joy DeGruy and the Hon. Elijah Muhammad have
detailed how white supremacy has trained us, and White
people in particular, not to see past the whiteness of White
people. White skin is supposed to be the sheep's clothing
that prevents us from seeing the wolf even when he is very
visible.
But, children can be very perceptive when allowed to act on
their own.

Killer John Wayne Gacy was an artist who also worked as Pogo
the Clown at children's parties. Many people thought he was
a good guy because of this. However, some children were
fearful of him. Why? It was his clown make-up.
Most clowns have paint drawn around their mouths in a
circular fashion but, Gacy's mouth paint was drawn around
his mouth and ended with one point on each side of his
mouth, like two horns. To some children, Gacy's clown makeup

Rex Heuermann has pleaded not guilty to first-degree and
second-degree murder and is being held without bail.
