Brutal Closing of big Mosque in Raleigh, North Carolina.
It came as a shock to a brother when he recently visited
Raleigh. Shaw University which was for decades a welcoming
venue for Muslims has closed down the beautiful mosque known
as King Khalid Mosqur which was founded decades back with a
million dollars from Saudi Arabia
,
The Muslims are completely barred from entering and have
been praying outside on the grass. Some have been
;protesting, carrying placards against discrimination.
The chapel in the same facility has not been closed. So it
is a slap in the face for Muslims who want interfaith
amity.
The study rooms connected to the mosque have also been
closed.
A petition for re-opening the mosque is underway and has a
little over 600 signatures but 1000 are needed,
Unfortunately the university is reportedly planning to
demolish the mosque and build a market in its place,
[ It is strange that this big move against a place of
worship for Muslims has not been reported in the major media
although the Muslims in Raleigh are not known for activism
or support for Palestine and have been supportive of
CAIR.]
Book Review
Turkey, Russia and China could accelerate World's future
developments. Amazing Facts via Research.
Muslim World in the New Global Order
By Abdus Sattar Ghazali (California).189 pages. January
2023.)
It's a deeply thoughtful and provocative book. The author
has encapsulated just about, all of the issues concerning
the Muslim world.
People in Muslim countries who do not see the hostility and
cultural genocide emanating from secularist groups who have
infiltrated Muslim countries should read the anatomy of
Mustafa Kamal "Ataturk' s" regime. He not only erased the
centuries old Caliphate but went into the detailed
destruction of all the sources of Islam, including Arabic.
Ghazali has been thorough in this research
It is almost a miracle that Erdogan has brought up Islam as
a major power again in Turkey.
Readers may have heard of a simplistic Turk named Gulen who
lives in Pennsylvania. Actually he was a mastermind of
intrigue to bring about a hypocritical renewal of "Islam"
in Turkey. Ghazali has done impressive research on Gulen's
intrigues to subsume Turkey into the American ambit.
Erdoghan successfully destroyed the network, root and
branch.
Ghazali indicates that Russia has 600,000 Muslims living
there. Russia is slowly moving towards friendship with the
Muslim world. Putin is the first western ruler to have
spoken out against European attacks on the Prophet,
pbuh.
China is investing billions of dollars in the road belts
program in Muslim countries. No country has done so much
for Africa.
The writer unfortunately does not discuss the fate of the
Uighur Muslims in China. But Ghazali is impressive in his
discussion of Arab countries and oil with the failures we
have seen.I will not give away all the wonderful information
in this book.
The chapters on Palestine and Israeli moves are
brilliant.
Muslims should wake up from their deep sleep. Read Ghazali.
The future depends on whether we will wake up.The most
important sub set of the book is that America is retreating
from the Muslim world. America is no longer relevant but
only as a problem and a headache.
India looking for Sikh Hero stirs up Protest Rallies in Canada
CBC. March 25
Hundreds of people in Vancouver rallied at the Consulate
General of India on Howe Street to speak out against the
Indian government's activities to find and arrest Amritpal
Singh in the state of Punjab.
B.C. residents with ties to India's Punjab region gathered
in downtown Vancouver Saturday to wave flags, chant and
listen to speeches calling out the India government over its
so-called crackdown to arrest a prominent voice in the
separatist movement.
The hunt for Sikh preacher Amritpal Singh comes a month
after he led a violent storming of a police station,
according to international media reports. It's resulted in
arrests, restrictions on gatherings, and a blackout of media
and mobile internet connections affecting more than an
estimated 20 million people.
"We're here to show our dissent, our displeasure against the
Indian state for this suspension of civil liberties and
violation of human rights," said Moninder Singh, a
spokesperson for the British Columbia Gurdwaras Council from
the rally on Saturday.Organizers of the protest said
Amritpal Singh, leader of social reform group Waris Punjab
De, was working on tackling drug use and drug deaths in the
state, and the storming of the police station was in
response to Sikhs being unfairly detained and treated
there.Punjab police allege that Amritpal Singh had set up a
militia and was stockpiling weapons and other military
equipment.
The Vancouver protest took place at the Consulate General of
India on Howe Street in downtown Vancouver with crowds
gathering for hours beginning at 1 p.m. PT.
:Punjab is India's only Sikh-majority state, with around 30
million people residing in the region, which is about two
per cent of the country's entire population. There is a
history of Sikhs advocating for the establishment of an
independent Sikh homeland called Khalistan.
In Hindu-majority India, many say they face discrimination
and oppression.Indian authorities deny those allegations. Now
though, the Government of Punjab says the crackdown and
internet blockages are needed to ensure public safety and
prevent the incitement of violence.
Many people, including federal politicians in Canada have
criticized the measures as being heavy-handed and a
violation of human rights as some people in the Punjab
struggle to communicate and access information.

Urges Release of Islamic leader in Gwadur
by Qaiser Sharif
LAHORE: March 25: Jamaat-e-Islami Emir Sirajul Haq has said
that the refusal of the government and the Election
Commission of Pakistan to accept the Supreme Court decision
on Punjab polls is the violation of the Constitution.
The consequences of the situation could be dangerous, he
warned while addressing a press conference at Mansoorah on
Saturday.
The PDM and the PTI must hold ceasefire and all the stake
holders should sit together to develop consensus on the
national polls, he said, adding the fight between the two
sides was leading the county towards martial law.
He said the people must be given a chance to elect their
representatives in a free and fair manner.
He condemned the Punjab caretaker government on creating
hurdles in the way of the PTI rally at Minar-e-Pakistan,
saying the caretaker set up was virtually posing as the part
of the PDM government. Every political party, he said, had
the right to hold peaceful rallies. To a question, he said,
if the former prime minister Imran Khan or any other
political leader were not feeling safe in their homes, they
could live at Mansoorah which was a peaceful place.
The JI chief said the fight between the PDM and the PTI took
the country to the closed alley. He said the current
government performance of 11 months was almost zero. The
poor were burning in the fire of inflation, he said,
reminding the PDM and the PTI about their rallies against
inflation before coming to power in April. Haq said the
unity government badly failed to provide relief to the
masses. Five poor persons died in the queues of flour, he
said, asking the government to bring down the prices of food
items at least during the holy month of Ramzan. He said the
IMF dictates the government on every matter of national
importance and global lender had virtually taken control of
the national economy.
He demanded the immediate release of the Gwadar Right
Movement leader Maulana Hidayatur Rahman Baloch, asking the
government to address the demands of the people of the port
city. He asked the ECP to complete the local government
polls in Karachi, warning the Sindh government and the PPP
against the hurdles in the poll process. He said the JI had
started the election campaign from March 23.

*Virtues Of The Month Of Ramadhan
*PROPHET ﷺ First Khutbah!
'O Muslims, Fear Allah and Obey Him,I give you glad tidings
as the month of 'Ramadan' is approaching, This is the month
in which the 'Qur'an' was revealed as a guidance for
mankind, as well as a clarification and differentiation
between truth and falsehood !During this month, the Gates of
Mercy are opened and the gates of hell are sealed.Satan and
all other jinn are chained during this blessed month.Rewards
for good deeds performed in this month are multiplied ! sins
are forgiven and supplications responded to and answered. It
is the month of Perseverance, Mercy, Compassion and
Charity.~Salman Al-Farsi ~ [may Allah be pleased with him]
reported that...
Prophet ~[Sallallahu `Alaihi wa Sallam]gave a speech on the
last day of 'Sha'ban',and said...'O people ,
you are being approached by a great and blessed month, a
month which contains a Night that is better than One
Thousand [1000] months !Allah made fasting within it an
obligation, and made praying on that night an optional act of
worship.he who performs any righteous voluntary act within
it, will be rewarded like one who doesan obligatory act at
any time other than during 'Ramadan'...{!}
'he who performs an obligatory act of worship within it will
be rewarded like he who performs Seventy [70] acts of
worship at any time outside this month !
['Alhamdullilah']
It is the month of Perseverance and perseverance is rewarded
with'Jannah'~{Paradise}!It is the month of compassion,in
which the sustenance of a believer increases !'he who feeds
a fasting person within this month has his sins forgiven and
he will be protected and released from the hell fire.he also
gets the reward of that person's fasting without decreasing
the reward of the fasting person.'Then the companions...[may
Allah be pleased with them] said...
'O messenger of Allah, not all of us can ﷺ find the
extra food needed to feed another fasting person'.So Prophet
[Sallallahu `Alaihi wa
Sallam] responded...
'Allah will give you the reward of feeding a fasting person
even if you were to give him just a sip of milk, a date,or a
sip of water...{!}he who feeds a fasting person until he is
full,Allah will make him drink out of my river, a sip of
which will never allow him to be thirsty until he enters
'Jannah'!Then he continued...'
This is the month the beginning of which is Mercy, the
middle part is Forgiveness...and the last part of it is
Release from Hellfire.'(Source ~ Al-Bayhaqi).'So, pay
attention, may Allah be merciful to you all', pay attention
O believers, to the speech of the Prophet{Sallallahu `Alaihi
wa Sallam }in which he gave glad tidings of the month of
'Ramadan' to his companions and informed them of its virtues
and how the reward of righteous deeds performed therein is
multiplied.Indeed, it is a great and blessed month...!
The Prophet [Sallallahu `Alaihi wa Sallam ] said...
referring to the month of 'Ramadan'~'Never has a better
month arrivedfor the believers and never has a worse month
come to pass for the hypocrites.'(Source~ Ahmad)
Abu Hurayrah, [may Allah be pleased with him] narrated
that...
Prophet [Sallallahu `Alaihi wa Sallam] said..."All the
(rewards of the) deeds of the son of Adam are for him, (he
is aware that) the reward of performing them will be
multiplied by ten (10) to seven-hundred (700) times...!Allah
{Azza Wa Jal} has said...'Except for fasting, as it is for
Me. I shall reward it !(i.e. I will decide what the reward
will be)This is because the fasting person leaves his
desires, food and drink purely for My sake.'
The fasting person has two [2] times of great pleasure...!
once when he breaks his fast and the other when he meets his
Lord !The smell emanating from the mouth of a fasting person
is better in the scale of Allah than the smell of Musk
".(Source~ Ahmad)
The Prophet ~[Sallallahu `Alaihi wa Sallam] referred to
'Ramadan' as the 'month of perseverance' due to the
necessityof perseverance and patience during this month.Due
to this, as well as the suffering from the pain of hunger,
thirst and weakness of the body due to fasting.
'Abdullaah Ibn'Umar [may Allah be pleased with him] reported
that~
Prophet [Sallallahu `Alaihi wa Sallam]said...'No one knows
the reward offasting except Allah'. (Source ~Al-Bayhaqi)
The reward for righteous deeds varies due to different
reasons, for example, due to the sanctity of specific places
such as 'Makkah' and 'Medina'.The Prophet [Sallallahu
`Alaihi wa Sallam] said: 'Praying in my 'Masjid' is one
thousand times[1000] greater in reward than prayer elsewhere
-except for 'Al-Masjid Al-Haram' [in 'Makkah'][Source~ S.
Bukhari] Among the virtues of this blessed month is that the
reward for good deeds is multiplied by up to seven hundred
times, for those who purify their intentions and perform
their actions purely for the sake of Allah - !such as those
who spend in charity from their wealth, provided that their
wealth comes from lawful means. {Allah only accepts charity
which is from 'Halal' (lawful) means...!} The Prophet
[Sallallaahu `Alaihi wa Sallam] said---
'Allah accepts charity with His right hand and then
increases it in reward for the person giving it, just like
one of you raises his colt, until the reward for it becomes
the size of a mountain'. (Source~ Bukhari & Muslim)

Did the Prophet, pbuh, and the Sahaba, r.a., pray taraweehs?
Think of how different is our "Islam" from that of Muhammad,
peace be on him.
"Many a person gets nothing out of fasting except hunger and
thirst." [Prophet Muhammad, pbuh, Hadith in the Sunan of ibn
Majah, chapter on Siyam.]
Is there any hadith from Prophet Muhammad, pbuh, which says
we should pray taraweehs, 22 rakahs or 8 or 12 or any other
number?
Is The word taraweeh used in the Qur'an and the hadith? I
can see tahajjud. I can see qiyam al-layl, but these are not
specifically related to Ramadan.
If the Prophet, pbuh, had been praying taraweeh, how could
he have fought the battle of Badr? How could he have
conquered Makka? Both of these history making events took
place in the life of the Prophet, pbuh, during Ramadan. I
have checked all the hadith sources about these two events
and there is absolutely no reference to taraweeh.
When Ayesha, r.a., died, it was Ramadan and all the women of
Madinah came out at night for her burial. Again there is no
reference to taraweeh.
Narrations from others than the Prophet, pbuh, do not
constitute the essential texts of Islam. Only the Qur'an and
the authentic hadith are absolutely essential to Islam.
There are narrations which claim that Umar, r.a., and Ali,
r.a., not only prayed taraweehs but organized them. The
problem is that Umar, r.a., was involved in the biggest
jihad movement in Islamic history which involved just about
all the sahaba and brought about the downfall of the two
superpowers of that time. The details of this tremendous
struggle are available in all the earliest Islamic history
books. NONE OF THEM mention taraweehs.
Great numbers [perhaps all] the sahaba were involved in this
struggle, directly or indirectly. NONE OF THEM nor any of
the new converts to Islam are quoted as saying that "we are
missing taraweeh prayers owing to these battles."
The authentic hadith do mention the Prophet, pbuh, praying
extra prayers after Isha' during Ramadan THREE times. When
he noticed that people were gathering to make it into a
congregational prayer with him, he stopped.
Now look at our ummah's condition: When Bush bombed
Afghanistan in 2001 during Ramadan, even General Musharraf
the traitor was worried that Pakistani Muslims would be
riled up. However, nothing happened because Pakistanis were
busy praying 22 rakats of taraweeh prayers [Hanafi fiqh].
Bush kept on bombing, secure in the religious immunization
of Pakistan.
The same happened with the bombing of Fallujah in Iraq
during Ramadan which reached its peak during laylatul qadr,
the holiest night in Ramadan. The Iraqi imams used the
loudspeakers of the mosques in Fallujah to call the people
to jihad, not to taraweeh. The Iraqis fought to the bitter
end in Fallujah. The rest of the Muslim world did not
respond. They were busy praying taraweehs.
Look at Somalia today. Almost four million Somalis are
homeless. Nearly 400,000 children are facing death through
malnutrition and disease. Should we be praying taraweehs or
should we be mobilizing humanitarian support for the
Somalis?
The way Muslims eat during iftar after each fast is a shame
and a disgrace. Huge quantities of food and drink are
guzzled. What kind of Islam is this? Even those who do not
carry out obligatory [fard] prayers are busy praying
taraweeh. The Prophet, pbuh, and the sahaba, kept awake
during the day in Ramadan. We sleep during the day and pray
taraweeh at night!
"...Among the proprieties of fasting is that the person
should not sleep much during the day but rather stay up so
that he might feel the pangs of hunger and flames of thirst
and become conscious of the weakness of the flesh, with the
result that one's heart would be cleansed and purified."
[Imam Ghazzali's kitab Israr al-Saum, translated by
Faris.

Africa
Uganda has denounced all lgbtq activity. The parliament
unanimously clamped down on any homo activity. The big move
came out of the main mosque's khutba,
USA is threatening Uganda with sanctions,
Kenya has also moved against homos but only if they do it in
public.
Ghana is also strongly against lgbtq,
Across Muslim Africa there is united stand against
Transgender and entire lgbtq stuff,
It is considered cultural imperialism coming from Europe
and USA.
