Outgoing Da'wah Approach is required for Success of Islam
On October 8, 2021 Br. Kaukab Siddique gave the Juma' khutba
at Masjid jamaat al-Muslimeen in Baltimore.

Bukhari. The family of Muhammad, pbuh, did not eat their
fill for three successive days till he, pbuh, died.

Muslims are usually busy debating each other to prove who
is a better Muslim. When the Mongols attacked Baghdad, they
captured the huge city in only 13 days and burned the
libraries and mosques, and sluaghtered thousands.
Muslim scholars were busy arguing. [Later years Mongols
advanced into Palestine asnd were beaten back by Ibn Taymia
who only followed Quran and Sunnah.]
The Prophet, pbuh, and his sahaba were not mystics or
sufis.
Even when he was alone in Makka, pbuh, the Prophet was
constantly urging the idol worshippers to accept Allah alone
and to prepare for the Hereafter with good deeds.
None of the sahaba were inwards looking, mystics or
sufis. They were constantly organizing to prepare for an
Islamic state and helping to create a system of justice and
brotherhood/sisterhood. They got their spirituality through
the five daily prayers.
They helped the women, the oppressed and the downtrodden,
the exploited, to integrate into the outgoing equality-
based Islamic way of life.
They prepared to defend themselves against the armies of
the oppressors.
Part 2
We must do dawah in an organized way. I have studied how
Sunni Islam was introduced in America.
We have forgotten Br. Muzaffarauddin Hamid who introduced
Sunni Islam in the 1970s in Washington DC. By Sunni Islam we
mean Islam based on the Qur'an and authentic hadith.
He organized a community mosque in Washington and set up
institutions and businesses in the Black community.
Owing to my ill health I studied why the Muslims with
the Prophet were so healthy and full of vitality.
He had a nutritious life style and did not eat lavish
meals. He focused on vegetable nutrition. He only ate meat
on Eid al-Adha or after a few battle victories or when
people sometimes sent meat as gift.
We Muslims have become meat eaters owing to focus on one
or two hadith about then Prophet eating meat.
When the sahaba went out to battle fields, they ate
vegetables, leaves and took water.
Let us study and accept the Islamic life style.
May Allah forgive our sins and shortcomings.

Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan Passes away.
The father of Pakistan's nuclear program passed away this morning.
October 10: Owing to Pakistan's nuclear bombs, India was
not able to bully Pakistan.
It is a great shame that the government of Pakistan put him
under house arrest after being pressured to do so by the
western powers who accused him of helping Libya and North
Korea with their nuclear bomb programs.
In the last years of hiis life, Dr. Khan joined the Tehreeke
Labbaik based on love of the Prophet, pbuh.
Today, as condolences poured in from across the country, PM
Imran Khan relented and ordered a full ceremonial funeral
for him with national honors in Islamabad.

Jamaat-e-Islami Emir Sirajul Haq has categorically rejected
the NAB Amendment Ordinance as mala fide intention of the
government, saying the ruling party has bulldozed the
democratic process and spirit of the constitutionto give
extension to the chairman of the anti-corruption body.
Talking to JI workers and local politicians here on
Thursday, he said the prime minister badly failed to
strengthen the system of accountability and honor his
long-standing political commitments to introduce a powerful
and impartial anti-corruption regime after coming into
power.
The accountability, he added, had turned into a joke in the
regime of the PTI.
Sirajul Haq reiterated the JI would go to the Supreme Court
for fair inquiry into people named in Pandora Papers and
Panama Leaks. He rejected the prime minister cell formed to
investigate the owners of shell companies. He demanded the
ministers and government officials named in the leaks must
step down. He said those who made billions of rupees through
tax evasion and other illegal ways and stashed their wealth
into the accounts of offshore companies must be held
accountable. He said on one side people of Pakistan were
starving to death and have no access to even basic
facilities while on the other side ruling elite were
enjoying all luxuries of life and living in palaces. He said
the PTI followed the footsteps of the PML-N and the PPP and
its claims to bring real change proved pack of lies.
Therefore, he said, the people should reject the three
parties and vote for the JI in the election to bring the
real change. He said the PPP ruled over Sindh for decades
but could not provide basic facilities to the people of
province.
The JI Emir is on the three-day visit to Sindh. He attended
different programs on first day on Wednesday in Karachi and
went to Mithi and Islamkot on Thursday. He visited the
al-Kidmat Hospital Mithi and appreciated the welfare
activities of the JI charity. On occasion, he expressed
grief over the loss of human lives and property in
earthquake in Harnai, Balochistan and demanded the
government compensate the families affected in the
earthquake. He directed the volunteers of the al-Khidmat to
participate fully in relief activities.
The JI chief addressed Seerat Conference in Islamkot and
emphasized on the need of unity among the ranks of Muslim
Ummah. He pledged to continue struggle to transform Pakistan
into Islamic welfare state. He also addressed a public
meeting in the city.
JI Naib Emir Mirajul Huda Siddiqui, Asadullah Bhutto, JI
Sindh Chapter Emir Muhammad Hussain Mehanti and other
leaders were with the JI Emir during the tour.

Religious Objection Not Working.

What would you do if your employer told you that you cannot
use a religious objection to avoid getting the COVID-19
vaccine? What if your own religious leaders have decided
that getting the COVID-19 vaccine is not against your
religion?
On October 4th, in Midtown Manhattan, there was a march
protesting the New York State COVID-19 vaccine mandates.
October 4th was also the date that public school employees
were supposed to all be vaccinated.
Thousands of New York healthcare workers have been
terminated for not getting the COVID-19 vaccine. Several
healthcare workers sued New York State before the September
13th mandate went into effect. Thomas More Society is a
legal group that fights for religious liberty. They are
representing some of the healthcare workers suing New York
State over the mandate.
The issue with the mandate is that religious objection is
not an option at all for avoiding the vaccine. Many former
New York State employees were told to get the vaccine or
lose their jobs. Many chose not to get the vaccine. These
massive firings have compelled hospitals to cancel elective
surgeries and shut down operating rooms. Some nursing homes
have had to stop admitting new patients.
This vaccine is made with cells from aborted fetuses. It is
for this reason that some practicing Christians object to
getting vaccinated. These fetal cells have been used in the
development of polio, chickenpox, shingles, and hepatitis A
vaccines.
Pope Francis has stated that getting vaccinated is a moral
obligation. That is strange to learn that the Pope feels
this way knowing the vaccine is made with fetal cells.
Catholics have been very vocal against abortion.
The vaccine mandate has created a concept known as Vaccine
passports, which are required in New York State, but there
are a few other states that are banning them. The concept of
"Vaccine passports" is the use of the vaccination card to
gain access to certain activities, such as eating at a
restaurant or working out at a gym. It has also made a
person's private medical choice over vaccinations public
record. The following states have laws banning "Vaccine
passport" requirements: Arkansas, Arizona, Florida, Idaho,
Montana, Texas, South Carolina, and South Dakota.
The fact is that vaccinated people can get and transmit
COVID-19. Unfortunately, some vaccinated people have died
from COVID-19, too. This is why vaccinated people are now
being told to wear masks and observe social distancing.
Politicians claim that these lockdown restrictions will be
lifted once 80% of Americans are vaccinated. Vaccinations do
not mean lower COVID-19 infection rates.
If vaccinated people are still prone to getting infected
then, how can the COVID-19 infection rates drop simply
because of the high rate of vaccinations? It won't drop by
much.
COVID-19 is here to stay and so are these restrictions,
which is why the protests are extremely important! The
restrictions have punished and harmed people who do not have
COVID-19. Unvaccinated people are being maligned and treated
as if they are spreading COVID-19, although they are not
infected.
It is about time people have begun to protest these
restrictions.
Baltimore Marathon: Muslimah ran in Support of Black Lives Matter.
October 8.
Nadrat Siddique ran the Baltimore Marathon, her first since
the start of the pandemic. As is her tradition in Baltimore,
she wore the "Black Lives Matter" tee.
She finished in 5 hours two minutes, a dent time by marathon
standards, though not her best. She placed third in her
division. She had exactly the sam time 10 years bacvk, in
2011 when she ran her first Baltimore Marathon.

2021 New Delhi: On September 29, Jagadguru Paramhans Das of
Tapasvi Chhawani in Ayodhya issued a widely covered
statement saying that he was going to commit 'jal samadhi' -
i.e take his own life by immersion in water - unless the
Union government declared India a 'Hindu Nation' by October
2. He also called for the termination of the citizenship of
Muslim and Christian Indians. Following this announcement,
on October 2, Das was put under house arrest with forces
deployed outside his ashram to maintain peace with the large
crowd who had gathered there in support. Several of his
followers had said that if Das committed jal samadhi, they
would follow him. In response to the house arrest, Paramhans
put out a video stating that even if his original path to
the Sarayu river, where he intended to commit jal samadhi
was impeded, he would immerse his nose into a can of the
water, which he displayed to the camera. By 6 pm that day,
he withdrew the threat, and issued a statement saying that
unless the Union government declared a Hindu Rashtra, he
would undertake a fast unto death with crores of people at
the Ramlila Maidan in Delhi. But this time, he gave the
government a more extended deadline - November 2023. On
September 21, he had put out a video calling for the murder
of Christians and Muslims in a Facebook Live session, where
he said: "Each of the Christians and Muslims will be driven
out. Every Hindu who has been murdered will be avenged. The
same way after the rescue of Sita the rakshas were killed,
in the same way, those demons who have played with the
dignity of our sister, mothers and daughters, those
Christians and Muslims who have converted Hindus, those
Christians who have killed Hindus, will be avenged. All of
us sadhus and sants are prepared for this today. "The end of
Christians and Muslims have begun. We have come here and
there are many swords and weapons to be seen. We will make
them reach all Hindus. Everyone - shastra and shaastra
(religious texts and weapons) should be kept. If you see in
Durga's hand there is a sword, in Kali's hand there is a
sword, keeping weapons is also worship. Shastra and shaastra
both - that Hindu who is not in possession of shastra and
shaastra he is incomplete."

'La ilaha illalla-h wahdahu la sharika lahu, Lahul Mulku,

'Allahumma la mani' a lima a'taita, wala mu'tiya lima mana'ta,
wala yanfa'u dhuljadd minkal-jadd."

How to oppose Gossip

As-slamu alaikum,
How do you deal with people who gossip!
We need to redirect them in a friendly manner.
Yet, it is better to express disapproval and nicely remind
them about the harm of backbiting.
It's important not to feed the gossiper with curiosity,
agreement and further questions. Rather, simply change the
subject.
If however the gossiper persists, we should attempt to
defend the person being gossiped about. If they keep
backbiting despite the warning, we should leave the area in
fear of being dragged into joining the conversation.
Gossiping, rumoring, backbiting all destroy friendships and
families and fuels mistrust among community members. Still
worth, they destroy our hard-earned hasanat and make us
liable to punishment in the hereafter.
