Large rally outside Ft. Worth, Texas, Prison where Dr. Aafia
Siddiqui is being held.
We offer our thanks and congratulations to the Aafia
Foundation and the coalition which brought bus loads of
demonstrators to the prison.
On September 18, from 5.30 to 7.30 PM the rally went on in
high spirits, chanting: "Let her go", "Shut it down".
A view of the large rally outside the Ft. Worth prison
Considering all the difficulties and organizational aspects,
it was an amazing success.
A smaller rally was held in front of the Pakistani Consulate
in Houston, Texas.
Br. Mauri Saalakhan, Nadrat Siddique and others have been
striving in support of innocent Aafia Siddiqui for years
after she was sentenced to a whopping 85 years on flimsy and
ridiculous evidence.
Several years back Dr. Siddique, though not well, protested
in Urdu outside the Pakistani Embassy in Washington, DC.
Owing to the efforts of her sister Fowzia Siddiqui, the
cause took on international dimensions including rallies in
several cities in Pakistan.
The top leader of the Islamic movement, Sirajul Haq visited
Aafia's ailing mother to show widespread support in
Pakistan.

LAHORE- Sep 17: Jamaat-e-Islami Emir Sirajul Haq has said
the gulf between haves and have nots are widening in the
country with the former enjoy all luxuries by holding state
resources and latter deprived from even the basic needs of
life.
In a statement issued from Mansoora on Friday, he said the
government has failed to address the problems of the
poor.
The PTI government, he said, deceived the masses in the name
of change and Riasat-e-Madina.
He also criticized the former rulers, saying they all had
equal share in destruction of the economy and institutions.
The PTI, the PML-N and the PPP, he added, had the same
agenda and interests. They, he said, were fighting only to
serve self-interests and had nothing to do with the problems
of the masses.
"The common man is a victim of ruling elite," he said,
adding people of Pakistan had long been deceived and ditched
by the feudal lords and corrupt capitalists.
Talking to a delegation of influential politicians and
dignitaries of NA-130, Liaqat Baloch said that the
government was hesitant on the issues of Afghanistan and
Kashmir, under the pressure and cowardice of the colonial
powers. The Imran Khan government, with its incompetence and
failure, is doing irreparable damage to Pakistan on the
external front. The people are extremely worried about
inflation, unemployment and lawlessness. Successive changes
in the police and bureaucracy have eroded the administrative
structure. Instead of stabilizing the institutions, there
has been an increase in factionalism, conspiracies and
groupings to destabilize each other. Jamaat-e-Islami, with
its Islamic revolutionary rhetoric and clean character, will
launch a nationwide mass mobilization campaign to take the
country out of crisis.

Business Owners Challenging New York Mandate on C-19
by Sis. Aisha
[Jamaat al-Muslimeen]
It was just a matter of time before people, especially
business owners would begin challenging the NYC mandate,
issued by going-out Mayor Bill de Blasio, requiring patrons
and staff at gyms, entertainment venues, and dine-in
restaurants to get the COVID-19 Vaccine.
Staten Island restauranteurs have sued Mayor Bill de Blasio
over his COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate, which the city plans to
enforce on September 13th when school begins. The suit was
filed on August 17th by Independent Restaurant Owners
Association Rescue (IROAR).
This lawsuit points out how previous lockdown restrictions
have severely handicapped small businesses all over the city
and that this recent vaccine mandate arbitrarily targets
certain businesses while ignoring others. However, since the
announcement of this COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate, which is
called Key to NYC, the Mayor has added nightclubs, all city
museums, and pools. But, the lawsuit points out that
barbershops, hair salons, and office buildings have been
excluded from the mandate.
This is a far-reaching mandate and very un-American because
it interferes with the business's relationship with its
customers.
This COVID-19 Mandate is the only one of its kind in the
country and should it go through be prepared to see this
type of unprecedented mandate to be enforced in other parts
of the country. New York and California seem to be the two
model states that set precedence for new laws elsewhere,
including the COVID-19 lockdown.
Italian bakery Pasticceria Rocco displayed a defiant poster
in one establishment's window, which said, "We Do Not
Discriminate Against ANY Customer based on Sex, Gender,
Race, Creed, Age Vaccinated or Unvaccinated. All Customers
Who Wish to Patronize Are Welcome in Our Establishment."
According to Andrew Rigie, executive director of the NYC
Hospitality Alliance, most businesses are complying in an
effort to avoid going back to a full government lockdown.
Again, Mayor de Blasio has not masked why he is imposing
this vaccine mandate: It's "strategically focusing on the
ways to get more people vaccinated..."
The comments at the end of this Gothamist.com article were
pretty harsh and ethnically biased against Italians. Staten
Island, New York, which had a growing African-American
community there, has since become a nationalistic
Italian/Irish enclave. Many of them either work in law
enforcement or as firefighters. They are also very
conservative. Living there now as a nonwhite can be a very
unpleasant experience.
None of the backlashes in the comments addressed any
scientific data contrary to promoting the COVID-19 vaccine.
In other words, it was easy for the court of public opinion
to dismiss the lawsuits and the concerns of its complainants
because of who they are and where they are from. However,
the court of law has yet to render its opinion.

Ignorant Ones Complain about Allah
.As-Salaam Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuhu .
Imām Ibn al-Qayyim {may Allāh have mercy upon him}
said---
The ignorant one complains about Allāh
to the people !
This is the height of ignorance in complaining
and in whom the complaint is about.
For if a person were to truly know his Lord,
he would never complain of Him {!}
If he truly knew people, he would never complain to
them...
The gnostic complains only to Allāh,
and the most knowledgeable of the gnostics
are those who complain to Allāh about themselves, not
others ...
So there are three (3) levels...
- The most contemptible of them is to complain to people about Allāh.
- The loftiest of them is to complain to Allāh about oneself.
- The middle level is to complain to Allāh about others.
My 'Salaams' to all.
Y a s m i n.
Son of Adam! You are nothing but a number of days,
whenever each day passes then part of you has Gone!

Hadith of the Week
Narrated by Ata, r.a.:
'Aisha said If the Prophet
saw a cloud In the sky, he would walk to and fro in agitation,
go out and come in, and the color of his face would change, and
if it rained, he would feel relaxed." So 'Aisha knew that
state of his. So the Prophet said, I don't
know (am afraid), it may be similar to what happened to some
people referred to in the Holy Quran in the following Verse:
-- "Then when they saw it as a dense cloud coming towards
their valleys, they said,
'This is a cloud bringing us rain!' Nay, but, it is that
(torment) which you were asking to be hastened a wind
wherein is severe torment." (46.24):

with the creation.
May Allah (swt) make us close to Him through our prayers,

Chad protesters denounce the junta
AFPCopyright: AFP
Protesters marching against the junta in Chad took to the
streets of the capital, N'Djamena, the AFP news agency
reports.
The country is currently being governed by what's known as
the Transitional Military Council (TMC) under the leadership
of Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno.
He came to power after the death of his father Idriss Déby
Itno in April, who had been president since 1990.
The TMC's opponents see its continued rule as a power grab.
They accuse France of being behind the junta, AFP says, and
marchers were chanting "Chad is not a kingdom," and "no to
French support for the Déby father-and-son system".
The junta has said there will be elections after an 18-month
dialogue, but this has not started and the body that's
supposed to draw up a new constitution has not been formed,
AFP reports
