Anti-India Rallies in Bangladesh Indicate Prime Minister Hasina's Collusion with India to Uproot
Islam has Failed Miserably.

by Kaukab Siddique, PhD

On March 25 and 26 there were impressive rallies by the Muslims of Bangladesh to protest the visit of India's racist leader Modi. PM Hasina had become over confident after her blood letting of Islamic and nationalist opponents of her regime. No self-respecting government ever says that that it came into existence owing to the military intervention and subversive activities of a Hindu extremist government openly hostile to Islam and Muslims.

The Hasina regime tried to crush the protest rallies and claimed that the protestors did not represent the people of Bangladesh. Investigative reporting by al-Jazeera indicates that the Hasina regime is not being honest about the protests. The al-Jazeera reporting shows that even the nationalistic elements did not support the Hindu racist's visit.

From Dhaka, the Islamic protests spread to Chittagong and other areas.

On March 27, in Brahmanbaria, after Modi had left, police opened fire on large crowds of protesting students, killing five more protestors.

However al-Jazeera did not do justice to the main thrust of the protests which were Islamic and strongly Islamic. Let us look at the core of the protests. Let's be factual and look at the facts which cannot be denied.

  1. The biggest rallies came out of the central mosque of Dhaka.

  2. The protest movement describes itself as Hefajat e Islam [Bangla for Defense of Islam.]

  3. The leader is an outspoken and vastly popular Imam.

  4. The protestors were protesting not only the current genocidal activities of the racist Hindu Modi but also the massacre of Muslims in the Indian state of Gujarat when Modi was Chief Minister in Gujarat.

  5. At one point the police force sent by Hasina fired on Muslims in Dhaka when they were still praying. Unarmed civilians, at least seven were killed and hundreds injured.

  6. It was noted by protestors that Indian border police ruthlessly shoots down any Bangladeshi who comes near the border barrier which separates India and Bangladesh.

  7. The rivers which the two countries share are controlled by India. When Bangladesh needs water, the rivers are depleted. When water is not needed, there are huge floods in Bangladesh.

Here I will add some personal notes:
I visited Bangladesh several times. There was no animosity against Pakistan. The hatred was against aggressive Pakistani military and the Hindu Bengalis who formed the Mukti Bahini. I went all over the country. I was welcomed because I was from Pakistan. I had heard all the horror stories that Bengalis hate Punjabis. There was not the slightest threat element. I was always without security.

Remember that owing to economic conditions there was an ongoing process of people going through India to {West} Pakistan. Today there are more than 500,000 Bengalis in Karachi.

The underlying problem was that {West} Pakistanis did not respect Bengali Muslims and considered them almost Hindus!

A Pakistani military commander claimed during the war that these " non-Muslims" were all over Dhaka. An angry Bengali asked me rhetorically: Could the commander not hear the adhan coming out of a 1000 mosques across Dhaka?

The Pakistani military surrendered to the Indian army. A deal was made that the two sides would not incriminate each other. The Pakistani military left after abandoning the Islamic Bengalis who had fought for Pakistan WITHOUT TELLING THEM THEY WERE LEAVING,

Years passed. Awami League and India strengthened their ties. Suddenly Hasina decided to hold show trials which targeted Bengali Islamic scholars who were capable of teaching and leading. Innocent scholars, who had never hurt anyone were branded as terrorists and hanged. [West] Pakistan never said a word.

The claim that one million were killed by Pakistan was concocted by a woman in Brooklyn, USA, connected to the same people who have been repeating the six million claim for seventy years.

It seemed that Hasina had succeeded in the plan to suppress Islam for ever. Islam was to be a private religion.

Now Hefajat e Islam has shown that Islam is very much alive and the Hasina-Modi coupling will not be accepted.

JI report
Secular Party Wants JI's support.
Imran has failed Kashmir.

by Qaiser Sharif

LAHORE: March 22- PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari has backed the Jamaat-e-Islami Emir Sirajul Haq suggestion for initiation of national dialogue among political forces on the issue of election reforms.

Both the leaders were addressing a media conference at Mansoora, following arrival of Bilwal Bhutto led PPP delegation at JI headquarters on Monday. It was Bilawal's maiden visit to Mansoora as PPP chairman.

"The JI could play a historic role [to unite the political parties] for electoral reforms because of its neutrality and acceptance to both campus [government and opposition]," said the PPP chairman.

He said the PPP also agreed to the JI stance that the country needed an across the board system of accountability. But, he added, his party had no trust on the present anti-corruption watchdog because it was extremely biased and its unconstitutional status as it was established by a dictator. He said the JI chief was right when he (Sirajul Haq) says the present government damaged the Kashmir cause, hence there was need to develop a joint strategy for the liberation of Indian occupied Kashmir.

Earlier, the JI Emir Sirajul Haq along with JI Secretary General Ameerul Azim, JI Deputy Emir Liaqat Baloch others welcomed the PPP delegation. Both sides discussed the current political situation and other matters of mutual interests in the meeting which continued for more than one and half hours. The PPP delegation comprised of Yousaf Raza Gilani, Raja Parvez Ashraf, Qamar Zaman Kaira and Saeed Ghani and others.

Talking to reporters, Sirajul Haq said the JI was a democratic party and believed on dialogue among the political forces. He said the PTI government's economic policies brought a horrible wave of inflation and unemployment in the country. He said the political force must join hand for election reforms before the next election to end the blame game and to restore the masses' trust on democratic system. He said the JI was in favor of across the board accountability and believed that everyone whether it was general or a judge, a politician or a bureaucrat should be held accountable for his/her deeds. He said the PTI government took a fragile stand on Kashmir cause after India's unconstitutional move to abrogate of special status of Occupied Kashmir on August 5, 2019. The government, he said, was expected to call an APC on Kashmir and develop a united policy for the liberation of Kashmirs from India yoke but it failed to meet the nation's expectation, disappointing both the people of Kashmir and Pakistan. He said national action plan for the liberation of IOK was need of the hour.

Four Pillars of Sustainability
Mon, Mar 22, 2021 11:19 am

Imam Ali Siddiqui (alisiddiqui.imam@gmail.com)

'Four Pillars of Sustainability' is part of a paper "Quranic Perspective of Nature and Environment" presented on May 23-25, 2016 during an International Conference at the Nazareth College, Rochester, N.Y. by Imam Ali Siddiqui.

Allah created the universe and all there is with a simple command: Kunn, Be! And all happened on the Command of Allah: Fia Kunn! (Quran 36:82)17 Then Allah created the Process of Procreation. Allah informed the angels about the creation of a human being who will be the Khalifah, a Vicegerent on the Earth. Allah, then, created Adam, from ingredients chosen from the earth, fashioned it, blew His Spirit (Ruho-(A)llah) into it, and Adam came alive. Allah gave knowledge to Adam about the nature of all things and elevated Adam above the Angels and Jinns. "Such is Allah, your Lord and the Creator of all things. There is no god but Allah. It is Allah who made for you the earth as a resting place, and the sky a canopy, has given you shape - and made your shapes beautiful , and has provided for your sustenance, of things Tayyab (pure and good); such is Allah your Lord." (Quran 40:62)18 Allah's commandment on food and behavior is matter of faith for Muslims: "wa sa'mea'na waTaa'na, we listen and we obey." (Quran 2:285)19 Now the rest of the world is also reaching to the same conclusion: "Eat Tayyab (pure and good)" through "trial and error," and through scientific research and analysis; however, if you are doubtful, if it is Tayyab (pure and good), stay away from it, "...Thus the one who avoids doubtful matters saves him/herself in regard to his/her religion and honor ..." (Hadith narrate by Abi Abdullah bin an-Nu'man ibn Basheer, and reported in the books of Bukhari23 and Muslim24)
There are Four Pillars of Sustainability:
Halal, Haram31, Tayyab, and Israaf
Halal and Haram
God has divided the animal kingdoms and all consumables into two categories: Halal and Haram.

  1. Halal
Halal are those animals which are allowed for human diet including Fruits, and vegetables.

  2. Haram
Haram are those animals which are declared as sacred or protected. They are an important part of the ecosystem like pig, vultures, and crows to keep the environment clean by consuming dead animals and things. They may have other purposes such as transportation, preparing land, and some of them may be harmful for human consumption. These animals keep balance, mizan, in the ecosystem. Islamic Concept of Haram can protect many animals and keep them off the Endangered Species List, Red List.
Halal and Haram categorization also help to protect species of animals important for our existence and ecosystem.

  3. Tayyab
Tayyab means good, clean, pure, and free from impurities. Tayyab is the process to keep what Allah has made Tayyab, good, clean, pure, and free from impurities through the Tayyab process which is natural, organic, wholesome, and pure. The process has to be applied to farming, planting, harvesting, processing, prepping, and cooking. Allah reminded us, "It is Allah who made your shapes beautiful, and has provided for your sustenance, of things Tayyab (pure and good)..." (Quran 40: 62)18 This is my understanding that Allah has made us beautiful and we shall keep its beautiful shape by consuming Tayyab (Pure and good) food.

Tayyab processes which keep the process and the end product pure and good is also a sustainable process. It uses the land and resources wisely and efficiently without the use of chemicals. It also protects the land by rotating crops, planting according to season, and letting part of the land rest for the next season. For that we have to keep all processes Tayyab (Pure and good) to yield Tayyab (Pure and good) food. Commercial and corporate farms and Agri-business are about profit and greed, cutting corners, and making the bottom line pretty for the stockholders.

  4. Israaf
Israaf means Waste, Excessive use, and Extravagance. In other words, Israaf means using or consuming resources of food, water, land, and other resources more than needed or required. It will be excessive in consumption and it will be a waste. It will also deny the use of these resources by other fellow human beings. Allah does want us to eat, drink, and enjoy bounties of Allah; however, He does not like waste and overconsumption, "Eat and drink, but do not waste. Indeed, Allah does not love those who are wasteful." (Quran 7:31)20 Once again, commercial and corporate Agri-business is profit based and looks out for the interests of stockholders. That forces the industry to apply an economy of scale and exploit the needs of the market, in farms, factories, and distribution systems. It results in wastage of resources in all cases.

Allah, the Creator and the Sustainer of the universe, creates, but the human being destroys it through waste, over consumption, by applying alien processes, tools, and chemicals to cultivate it. They also create waste by over planting, overgrazing, single crops, out of season crops, and by using genetically modified organisms. Waste reduces resources in meeting the needs of an increasing population: "Eat and drink, but do not waste. Indeed, Allah does not love those who are wasteful." (Quran 7:31)20

Palestine

 Palestine

Does Israel deliberately flood Palestinian land?
For many years, farmers in Gaza have complained about how sudden flows of rainwater have destroyed their crops.

A recent report by the human rights group Al Mezan suggests the cause of many flooding incidents it has documented "cannot be natural."Samir Zaqout, a representative of Al Mezan, said that the conclusion was based on what researchers from his organization have witnessed "on the ground" this year.

Researchers, he added, had observed a "rush of water" behind the barrier separating Gaza from Israel following heavy rainfall. The water could then be seen entering Gaza from the Israeli side.

"What we believe is that there are large water pools used for collecting rainwater [inside Israel] and when these pools are full, they release the water toward the Gaza Strip," Zaqout said.

"Lost in the blink of an eye"

In February, farmers working near the boundary between Gaza and Israel had planned to gather crops so that they could be sold in markets. Yet when they went to work one morning, the farmers saw their land - located east of Gaza City - had been flooded.

"The harvest season was lost in the blink of an eye," Musad Habib, a farmer in the area, said. His crops included eggplants, tomatoes, lettuce and potatoes.

Musad, 54, blames Israel for the flooding.

Israeli troops want to end farming near the boundary so that they have "a clearer view of the area for military purposes," Musad said. "They have fired shots at us many times before," he added. "They are trying to force us into leaving our land."

The Israeli military has been previously documented using crop-dusting planes to spray herbicides believed to be carcinogenic along Gaza's eastern boundary. It has also razed agricultural and residential land inside Gaza to increase its soldiers' field of vision. Musad had planned to have a small celebration the day he found his crops destroyed. If the harvest was successful, he would have ordered a takeaway meal from a restaurant and relaxed with his family that evening.

Instead, he went home from work that day with a deep sense of sadness. The destruction of his crops has worsened his financial problems, which were already acute. With seven children, two of them married, he is the main breadwinner for his extended family. "Not even birds are safe"

Hussein Habib owns a poultry farm near Musad Habib's fields.

Early on the same February day, Hussein received a phone call from another farmer, alerting him to how much of the land had been flooded. Hussein rushed to his farm. The scene awaiting him was extremely distressing. He immediately tried to rescue as many of his 1,000 birds as possible. Around half of them could be saved but it was too late for the rest.

They had drowned. "Not even birds are safe from Israel's occupation," Hussein said. "Gaza is densely populated and there isn't much space to grow crops or to run poultry farms. That is why farmers have to work in the border area; it is away from where people live."

"We know that it is dangerous and that the Israeli occupation may fire at us at any time," he added. "But we have no real choice. It is very hard to make a living in Gaza."

Before Hussein and his colleagues suffered their losses, Israel had already been accused one other time this year of deliberately flooding Gaza's land.

"Distressed"

In January, Muhammad Abu Asir's crops of eggplant, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, parsley and watercress were flooded.
He tried to salvage what he could and spread soil over the farm he leases in the hope that he would have something, however small, to gather at harvest time. Yet his land was flooded once again the following month.

Aged 50, Abu Asir has suffered greatly from Israeli violence. His home in al-Shujaiyeh, a neighborhood of Gaza City, was destroyed during a major Israeli attack in 2014.

"I constantly face the risk of being killed," he said. "My four sons have asked me to give up farming. But there is no other job I can do. My whole life is connected to the land."

"I am extremely distressed," he added. "Do Israeli farmers have the same problems as us? If there were attacks on them, Israel would accuse Palestinians of terrorism. The constant Israeli attacks on Palestinians struggling to make a living are terrorism."

According to Al Mezan, Israel deliberately flooded Gaza's farms on seven occasions during 2020. Approximately 50 acres of land was affected as a consequence.

Human rights campaigners raised evidence that suggested a policy of deliberate flooding with the Israeli military last year. Amit Shohanski, a legal adviser to Israel's army, responded by saying that it was "not responsible for administering and operating water reservoirs in the areas adjacent to the Gaza Strip."

The military, Shohanski claimed, "did not act in any way to regulate or divert water from the reservoirs on the Israeli side in the direction of the Gaza Strip, if that is indeed what transpired."

Samir Zaqout from Al Mezan noted that it was not the first time that Israeli troops had "denied their crimes."

"If they admitted to these crimes, then they would be responsible for compensating farmers for the harm caused. And the farmers would be able to sue Israel. So this is not something that the Israelis are going to admit."

Women's rights in conflict area: a case study of Indian Administered Jammu and Kashmir
Dr. Shagufta Ashraf
March 19, 2021

Kashmiri women are the biggest victims of the ongoing conflict. They have suffered human rights abuses under the impunity of the suffocating Indian military presence in Indian administered Kashmir. According to statistics from Jammu and Kashmir state commission from women, a now defunct government institution is established to protect women and children rights to ensure quick prosecutions. Cases of domestic violence and general violence have been rising more than three thousand a year during the previous clampdowns in 2016 and 2017.

Let us view this problem, in the light of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights 1948. Since the founding of the United Nations, gender equality is the foremost agenda and has been among the most fundamental guarantees of human rights. Adopted in 1945, the Charter of the United Nations sets out as one of its goals "to reaffirm faith in fundamental human rights, in the dignity and worth of the human person, [and] in the equal rights of men and women". Furthermore, Article 1 of the Charter stipulates that one of the purposes of the United Nations is to promote respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms "without distinction as to race, sex, language or religion". This prohibition of discrimination based on sex is repeated in its Articles 13 (mandate of the General Assembly) and 55 (promotion of universal human rights).

In 1948, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights was adopted. It, too, proclaimed the equal entitlements of women and men to the rights contained in it, "without distinction of any kind, such as ... sex,". In drafting the Declaration, there was considerable discussion about the use of Women's Rights Are Human Rights of the term "all men" rather than a gender-neutral term. The Declaration was eventually adopted using the terms "all human beings" and "everyone" in order to leave no doubt that the Universal Declaration was intended for everyone, men and women alike.

I would like to discuss the status of women rights in conflicts, different Indian governments during the past seventy three years have architected the present disturbing scenario in Indian Administered Kashmir. The situation has worsened ever since the present government has assumed office in Delhi since 2014. This government systematically implemented a muscular policy and a doctrine of state is quelling the rebellion by force. This policy change has dangerous implications.

On 5th August India launched its intended assault to fracture the state of Jammu and Kashmir in two union territories. This scenario should be kept in mind when we are discussing women rights in Indian Administered Kashmir.

Widows and half widows

Ever increasing number of widows and half widows in Indian Administered Kashmir is a matter of great trauma as it reduces the grace and color of life of a woman. There is a long way to get freedom for women from the clutches of suppression and humiliation committed against them. Women of Indian Administered Kashmir die in silence. The economic, social and psychological status of widows devastates under the social patriarchy and inequality. In most of the cases she loses the property rights. There is no existence of initialization and rehabilitation. Most of the widows and half widows are from poor families. Half widows are such women whose husbands are subjected to enforced disappearances but have not been declared dead. These half widows live in isolation with little or no social or financial support. Most of the half widows have not remarried due to doubt about their husband's fate and lack of consensus among Muslim scholars from this issue. According to a Kashmiri sociologist, Dr. Bashir Ahmed Dabla, the conflict has affected women and children more than any other group or class especially widows and orphans.

United Nations Security Council has stressed the need to survey and compensate women in Indian Administered Kashmir, whose husbands have been killed or maimed. The situation of widows and half widows is an eye opener for the world if it realizes that more needs to be done rather than observing an international day for widows.

People of Indian Administered Kashmir are frequently facing human rights violations. India as a party to the dispute has failed to protect human rights. The right to live a respectful life without external interference is a dream for all, especially women, but this right has not been granted to the women of Indian Administered Kashmir. Indian army denied, distorted and buried all evidence and suppressed the truth.

Kunan and Poshpora in the India-administered Kashmir was such an incident that had changed the social and mental life of our women when 150 girls and women were raped that night; nearly 200 men were tortured. Barns became torture chambers. The next morning, as one can well imagine, was marked by immense horror and paralyzing pain. And yet, justice is elusive over all these years, as the Indian army has continued to exercise brutality and has enjoyed complete impunity, thanks to the Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA). The controversial law lets Indian Army personnel enter any premise at any time in the Valley, without a search warrant, and use lethal force, if they deem it necessary. The Indian state has continuously avoided responsibility for abuses at the hands of the Army. Human rights groups have repeatedly condemned extrajudicial killings by Indian forces [BBC report].

The Shopian rape and murder case is the abduction, rape and murder of two young women allegedly by local Indian army, in mysterious circumstances between 29 and 30 May 2009 at Bongam, Shopian district in the Indian administered state of Jammu and Kashmir. Two women who were sisters-in-law went missing from their orchard on the way home on 29 May 2009. The next morning, their bodies were found both one kilometer apart. Local police rejected the allegations saying that the women appeared to have drowned in a stream.

Miracle with a Cup of Milk

'Assalam Alaikum Wa Rehmath Ullahi Wa Barkatahu'
Narrated Abu Hurayrah ( Radhiallahu 'Anhu)
By Allah, except Whom none has the right to be worshipped, sometimes I used to lay asleep on the ground on my liver (abdomen) because of hunger, and sometimes I used to bind a stone over my belly because of hunger.
The Prophet sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam passed by me and he smiled when he saw me, for he knew what was in my heart and on my face.
He ﷺsaid, " O Aba Hirr (Abu Hurairah) !"
I replied, "Labbaik, O Allah's Apostle!"
Heﷺ said to me, "Follow me."
Heﷺ left and I followed him.
Then he entered the house and I asked permission to enter and was admitted.
He found milk in a bowl and said,
" From where is this milk ? "
They said, "It has been presented to you by such-and-such man (or by such and such woman)."
Heﷺ said, "O Aba Hirr!"
I said, "Labbaik, O Allah's Apostle!" He said,
"Go and call the people of 'Suffah' to me."
These people of 'Suffah' were the guests of Islam who had no families, nor money, nor anybody to depend upon, and whenever an object of charity was brought to the Prophet sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam, he would send it to them and would not take anything from it, and whenever any present was given to him, he used to send some for them and take some of it for himself.
The order of the Prophet sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam upset me, and I said to myself, "How will this little milk be enough for the people of 'As-Suffah'?"
I thought I was more entitled to drink from that milk in order to strengthen myself, but behold! The Prophet sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam came to order me to give that milk to them.
I wondered what will remain of that milk for me, but anyway, I could not but obey Allah and His Apostle so I went to the people of 'As-Suffah' and called them, and they came and asked the Prophet's permission to enter. They were admitted and took their seats in the house.
The Prophet sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam said, "O Aba-Hirr!"
I said, "Labbaik, O Allah's Apostle!"
He sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam said, "Take it and give it to them."
So I took the bowl of Milk and started giving it to one man who would drink his fill and return it to me, whereupon I would give it to another man who, in his turn, would drink his fill and return it to me, and I would then offer it to another man who would drink his fill and return it to me.
Finally, after the whole group had drunk their fill, I reached the Prophet sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam who took the bowl and put it on his hand, looked at me and smiled and said, "O Aba Hirr!"
I replied, "Labbaik,O Allah's Apostle!"
He sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam said, "There remain you and I."
I said, "You have said the truth, O Allah's Apostle !"
He sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam said, "Sit down and drink."
I sat down and drank. He said, "Drink!" and I drank. He kept on telling me repeatedly to drink, till I said, "No. by Allah Who sent you with the Truth, I have no space for it (in my stomach)."
He sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam said, "Hand it over to me."
When I gave him the bowl, heﷺ praised Allah and pronounced Allah's Name on it and drank the remaining milk.

Hadith of the Week

Narrated by
Al-Bara' bin 'Azib, r.a.:
Allah's Apostle ordered us to do seven things and forbade us to do other seven. He ordered us: to follow the funeral procession. to visit the sick, to accept invitations, to help the oppressed, to fulfill the oaths, to return the greeting and to reply to the sneezer: (saying, "May Allah be merciful on you," provided the sneezer says, "All the praises are for Allah,"). He forbade us to use silver utensils and dishes and to wear golden rings, silk (clothes), Dibaj (pure silk cloth), Qissi and Istabraq (two kinds of silk cloths).

Set clear goals for Ramadan.
Set S.M.A.R.T. goals: Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Time-bound
Utilize the early morning hours.
The early mornings are known to have blessings. They are a time when we are not pre-occupied with work or family.
O Allah, allow us to witness Ramadan, benefit from it, use it to earn your mercy, and emancipation from the Fire. Ameen.

You need to look at Ramadan in a different manner:
4 weeks of mercy, 30 days of fasting, 720 hours of worship, 43,200 minutes of forgiveness, 2,592,000 seconds of happiness.
So plan from now how much time you will have daily for Ibadah, then set the goals to get that much Ibadah done.
May Allah guide us to increase in acts of worship during the infinitely beneficial month of Ramadan.
Ameen..

New York Governor and the Cycle of Corruption.
by Sis. Aisha

[Jamaat al-Muslimeen[According to The Community Cop Show Panel, Noel Leader and Michael Greys, allege that New York Governor Cuomo played a role in preventing Governor David Patterson from running for election in New York State. When he was the Attorney General, Andrew Cuomo was told to wait for his turn as New York State governor because they did not want two democratic powerhouses sparring with each other. Politics are maneuvered this way.

Both hosts stated that salacious rumors about Governor Patterson engaging in improper conduct with women was coming from Attorney General Cuomo's office. Cuomo was told by the democratic powerhouses to wait his turn at becoming governor but, he did not want to wait so, he operated in an underhanded fashion to remove his opposition: David Patterson. Had Cuomo waited, David Patterson would have been an ally.

Governor David Patterson was the Lieutenant Governor under Governor Elliot Spitzer who had to step down because of his own sex scandal involving prostitutes. Spitzer angered people with how aggressively he went after corrupt Wall Street executives. If you do something like that you better have clean hands. After Patterson assumed the governorship, he became New York State's first black governor, from 2008 to 2010.

Noel Leader and Michael Greys believed that the Attorney General was responsible because on their way to their own press conference at the Harlem State Office Building they both received phone calls from his office. According to them, Attorney General Cuomo told them that he was aware that illegal stop and frisk was a huge issue with 100 Blacks in Law Enforcement Who Care and that his office could eliminate it, immediately. Allegedly, Cuomo said he had that kind of power over the NYPD.

However, the only way to get stop and frisk eliminated was for Greys and Leader to cancel their press conference, which was set to give their support to Governor Patterson. The hosts went on to say that then-Attorney General Cuomo allegedly stated that he and other black "leaders" held a meeting at Harlem's landmark restaurant: Sylvia's. It was there that these "leaders" agreed not to support Governor Patterson during his turmoil so, that Cuomo could make his run for office.

Of course, the press conference went on. At their press conference, Noel Leader stated that, in spite of rumors, Governor Patterson should not step down because he had not been charged or convicted of any crime.

But, Governor Patterson did step down and the rumors and negative press went away as if nothing ever happened. Now, Governor Cuomo is experiencing his own sex scandal. Some powerful democrats, such as Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, are requesting he step down, as well. Each week there is a new accusation. This week Governor Cuomo is accused of providing his family members with special access to COVID-19 tests, last March 2020, when this test was new and very scarce.

Suez Canal Blocked by One Ship!

Maritime traffic jam grows outside blocked Suez Canal
MV Ever Given has been wedged across the entire canal since Tuesday, shutting the crucial shipping waterway in both directions.

26 Mar 2021
A maritime traffic jam burgeoned to more than 200 vessels on Friday outside the Suez Canal as dredgers worked frantically to free a giant container ship stuck in the vital waterway and disrupting global shipping.

The blockage was holding up an estimated $9.6bn worth of cargo each day between Asia and Europe, said Lloyd's List, a shipping data and news company.

Dislodging Suez Canal ship said to need at least a week

Efforts to free it may take weeks and can be complicated by unstable weather, threatening costly delays for companies already dealing with COVID-19 restrictions.

The MV Ever Given, which is longer than four football fields, has been wedged across the entire canal since Tuesday, shutting the crucial shipping lane in both directions.

The Suez Canal Authority (SCA) said efforts to free the ship by tug had resumed following the completion of dredging operations at its bow to remove 20,000 cubic metres of sand.

"The tugging operations require the availability of a number of supporting factors including wind direction and tides, which makes it a complex technical process," the authority said.

 Uyghurs

Apple Insider

A report has surfaced by The Information (discussed by Apple Insider), revealing that Apple is hosting over a dozen apps owned by a Chinese paramilitary group at the head of the Uyghur genocide.

The Uyghur genocide is the collective term for ongoing human rights violations in the Xinjiang region in China since 2014, where the Chinese Communist Party has been forcing Uyghur Muslims into labor camps, disregarding any legal processes and maintaining general secrecy about their treatment of the illegal prisoners. Among other things, the horrors endured by the Uyghur include forced sterilization alongside the abuse and forced detainment.

The apps in question have been developed by various divisions of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, the paramilitary group overseeing the Xinjiang region. The group has been blacklisted in the U.S. already, with American companies strictly banned from working with Xinjiang Production, Construction Corps and related organizations.

Just a day before the accusation, Facebook discovered and blocked Chinese-based hackers—possibly these same Xinjiang developers—from an attempt to infect Uyghur Muslims living abroad with illegal surveillance bugs, CNBC reported.

Apple's nonchalance doesn't come as a surprise, as the company has been batting more than one blind eye lately to stay in China's good graces. Money has always been the driver behind everything in the big tech, and Apple has been enjoying sky-high sales of the iPhone 12 in China lately.

Chinese apps could be allowed to track iPhone users without permission

As the revelation on Apple gains traction on the media, the tech giant may eventually be pressured enough to remove the associated apps from the App Store. Apple's only comment following the discovery was that the apps are in compliance with U.S. law and are not in violation of the blacklist. The hesitation is hardly surprising, as other Western companies standing up to the Xinjiang horrors have been facing serious retaliation from the CCP.

H&M, for one, was just dealt a huge blow by the Chinese government when it chose to stop sourcing cotton from the Xinjiang region, where over a million Uyghur Muslims have been put to forced labor—primarily cotton production. Enraged, China responded to H&M's decision this Thursday by erasing every H&M location from from all map applications (including Apple and Google Maps), as well as wiping it from e-commerce, ride-hailing, or daily-deals apps. If you try to search for an H&M store on your phone in China, you won't find anything; it is as if the chain has disappeared from the country overnight.
