In his exegeses of the Qur'an, Maulana Maudoodi noted that
the first two verses are not referring to fruits but to the
lands where they are grown: Syria and Palestine. The
relevance becomes clear when we note the continuance in

The situation at the time of this revelation was not very
different from what it is now except that inhumanity and
cruelty have become very advanced. The Kaaba was full of
idols.
On January 24, 2021, I was an observer in a discussion on
human rights in Egypt. I am well aware of the human
condition all over the world especially in the Muslim
countries but I was shocked by some of the information which
came out of this discussion.

El-Sisi's Terror' was worth watching

I appreciate that Mohamed Kamel who is in Canada invited me
to this presentation.
The presenters see Canada as a moderating influence in
global politics. If only Canadians
what is happening in Egypt, perhaps they could exert a
positive influence to put a stop to it.
Here are some of the horrifying aspects of the regime of
General Sissi presented by the speakers.
Nearly 10,000 civilians have been murdered by the
regime.
more than 60,000 people have been in prison for 7 years
after arbitrary arrests.
Every now and then arrests take place on a wide scale
leading to beating and torture.
There are groups allowed to function in Egypt which are
on the payroll of foreign countries.
The regime is supported by Israel and Saudi Arabia.
Any dissent, however minor, is silenced. Only recently 57
people were executed.
The speakers praised the only elected leader of Egypt, Dr.
Mohammed Morsi, who was overthrown by the military and left
to die in prison.
Much abuse and criticism has been levelled at Morsi from the
supporters of the West but he did not violate any human
rights, the speakers said. He tried to directly help the
people, particularly those who were incapacitated as well as
single women.
My comments:
Without the liberation of Egypt, it would be difficult to
defeat Israel. Egypt came nearest to
defeating Israel, and the Zionist enemy was saved by an air
bridge of weaponry from America, somewhat like the shipments
of American arms to the Soviet Union when it faced defeat
against Germany.
There are many good Muslims in Egypt but the country is in
the grip of thugs and bandits for whom human dignity means
nothing.

On January 21, more than a million people gathered around
the mausoleum of Qaide Azam to denounce Israel and reject
sinister moves by the Imran Khan regime to cosy up to the
Zionist entity.
Almost all the mosques in Karachi were represented. The
crowds were carrying flags of the Jamiat e Ulamae Islam
movement, known as JUI-F, led by Maulana Fazlur Rahman.
The Imran regime tried to stop the rally but totally failed.
The speeches were in Urdu with some Pushtu. One madrasa
student spoke in English to answer a minister of Imran who
had claimed that madrasa students cannot learn modern
languages.
The huge crowds chanted slogans against Israel, USA and

Zionist plan even before Israel appeared. The very existence

All of Palestine is occupied territory and all of it must

must be liberated and purified.
After al-Aqsa, the holy mosques of Makkah and Madinah are
in danger and we must prepare to defend and safeguard
them.
Palestine and Kashmir are two aspects of the same tragedy
of the Muslim world.
The Pakistani regime has betrayed and abandoned
Kashmir
Both Kashmir and Palestine must have the right of self
determination.
The PTI Imran Khan regime has close links with the
western powers and India.
The Qadiani sect is an inherent part of Israel and has
opposed and damaged Pakistan from the beginning.
The new American president Biden should remove Trump's
claim that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel. If Biden
wants democracy, he should support the rights of Kashmiris
and Palestinians.

January 24. Tafas in western Daraa province witnessed a
clash between a newly emerging Islamic group, Fajr al-Islam,
and the Assad regime. The group captured Assad's checkpoint
and three of his troops. Heavy firing is going on. Assad is
sending tanks and Russia is trying peace talks.
In the eastern parts of the provinces of Homs, Hama, Deir ez
Zor and southern al-Raqqah, attempts by Islamic State
fighters to infiltrate, ambush and advance continue. SOHR is
reporting 31 regime forces/Shia militias killed. Russian air
strikes continue to stop IS advances and 17
IS fighters are reported killed.
In a separate incident near Palmyra, 3 regime troops were
killed by an IED.
On the frontiers of Irbid province, artillery and mortar
exchanges are continuing on a daily basis.
In the Ain Riffat area random Turkish artillery fire killed
2 children and a woman
with large crowds turning up for their funerals.

New York City - Do you have a plan for fighting Coronavirus
(SARS-2) if you or a loved one gets it? Can the antibodies
of immune people be the solution?
According to Dr. Velma Boles, who hails from Louisiana, they
can. I watched a June segment of The Wisdom Table with
Brother Leroy on YouTube, recently. Dr. Boles discussed
critical information that is not being publicized! This
information has been well known in the medical community for
months. Only holistic doctors seem to be speaking on these
matters, however.
Dr. Velma Boles stated that Coronavirus is not a respiratory
illness but, a blood clotting illness. It attacks specific
cells called ACE-2 cells, which can be anywhere in the body.
The breathing difficulty experienced is from blood clots in
the lungs, not mucus, which is why holistic doctors were
warning people against accepting respirators for treatment.
As a result of this new information, treatment has moved
from using respirators to using Heparin, a blood thinner.
Black people, with compromised immune systems, exhibited the
blood clot symptoms quicker than others. But when these
black patients showed up with chills, aches, and pains,
which are symptoms of blood clots, they were sent home only
to return to the hospital already at death's door. The
reason is that the black Coronavirus victims did not exhibit
the same symptoms as white or Asian victims, which was a
fever, headache, and cough. However, according to Dr. Boles,
only those with a strong immune system would have a fever,
which is the body's natural defense mechanism against germs.
This is a prime example of institutionalized racism in the
healthcare field. They used the symptoms of white
Coronavirus patients as the only measuring stick for
everyone. She has also been very critical of black medical
professionals for not being proactive in providing valuable
information for fighting Coronavirus to black communities.
She criticized them for waiting to be told what to do by the
white establishment.
Being that many workers of African-descent tend to be apart
of the essential workforce this is where Coronavirus was and
still is potentially being spread. Now, new measures say
that everyone will be tested regardless of the type of
symptoms they are showing.
These are some of Dr. Boles' crucial points:
People DO NOT need to have Coronavirus to develop the
antibodies to it! In addition to getting tested for the
Coronavirus, ask for the serology test, as well. The
serology test will determine if antibodies are present in
your blood. If you donate serum in a sick person's name,
they will not have to pay for it. This can be a proactive
measure for helping infected family members, friends, and
neighbors!

Doctors have warned that diabetics are susceptible to
Coronavirus because they already knew the meds, such as
metformin, prescribed to diabetics weakens the liver so that
it cannot fight infections. It is not high blood pressure
and diabetes that make you susceptible to Coronavirus, it is
the side effects from the meds for treating those illnesses.
Vaccines ONLY work on people with strong immune systems.
This broadcast was done in June 2020, the vaccine became
available in late Fall 2020. Britain medics were warning
those with allergies not to get vaccinated but, American
medical "experts" dismissed their concerns.

During this broadcast, Dr. Boles warned against complacency
with having illnesses. Accepting disease and making it apart
of your life rather than looking for ways to overcome it is
very common. These medications on the market help us live
with diabetes or high blood pressure by treating the
symptoms, not the disease itself. We should always seek ways
to rid ourselves of the disease. In many cases, the best
cure for these illnesses is to change our lifestyles and
eating habits.
She encouraged people to become more self-sufficient and to
take control of their own bodies. For instance, she stated
that, after slavery ended, many black women became doulas or
midwives because white doctors were not treating black
female patients. Nowadays, there are doctors who are
performing unnecessary cesarean sections on black mothers,
in particular. Some obstetricians will fit C-sections around
their vacation time! Dr. Boles stated that any type of
surgery is a trauma for the body to overcome.
The United States leads industrialized nations with the
highest maternity ward mortality rates.
There are authentic hadiths that provide treatment for
illnesses by eating certain foods, such as honey or black
seeds. Of course, this same guidance can be found in
Scripture, as well. We need to return to our roots and not
dismiss God's medicine as an inferior form of
witchcraft.

Jewish Settlers Attack Palestinian Car near Ramallah, Injure
3-Year-Old Child
A Palestinian child was injured on Thursday evening after
Jewish settlers attacked a Palestinian car near the entrance
of Burqa village, northeast of Ramallah city, according to
the Palestinian news agency WAFA.
'Ala Sawafta told WAFA that a group of settlers attacked his
car as he was driving from Ramallah to Tubas city, smashing
the windshield, the front door and back door glass of his
car and wounding his three-year-old son, Jad, in his face.
Jad was rushed to a hospital in Ramallah to receive the
necessary treatment. His condition was described as stable.
Palestinian Worker Dies after Inhaling Teargas Fired by Israeli Soldiers
A Palestinian worker died on Sunday early morning due to a
heart attack resulting from the inhalation of toxic teargas
fired at him by Israeli occupation soldiers in the village
of Far'oun, near the city of Tulkarm, in the occupied West
Bank, the Palestinian news agency WAFA reported.
Fo'ad Sebti Joudeh, 48, was among dozens of Palestinian
workers on their way to their workplaces inside Israel, when
Israeli occupation soldiers fired teargas canisters at them
as they tried to cross a gate in the Israeli apartheid wall.
The man reportedly died from a heart attack shortly after
inhaling the toxic gas. His body was moved to a hospital in
nearby Nablus city, ahead of his funeral in his hometown of
Iraq al-Tayeh.
.Joudeh's brother said that Fo'ad had not suffered any
disease prior to the deadly incident, which proves that the
excessive use of teargas by the occupation forces was behind
the sudden heart attack that killed the 48-year-old man.
Joudeh is a father of four children, the eldest of whom is
ten years old.

Canadian fashion mogul Peter Nygard arrested on federal sex
trafficking charges
He was picked up Monday in his native Winnipeg on a
nine-count indictment.

Federal authorities alleged Tuesday that a Canadian fashion
designer used his company to prey on girls and young women
that they say he sexually assaulted and used to serve
friends and business associates.
Peter Nygard, the 79-year-old head of the Nygard Group, was
arrested by Royal Canadian Mounted Police in Winnipeg on
Monday, officials said.
He was hit with a nine-count grand jury indictment that
included charges of racketeering conspiracy, conspiracy to
commit sex trafficking, trafficking of minors, forced sex
trafficking and transportation of a minor for prostitution.
The criminal acts are alleged to have happened between 1995
and as recently as this year, federal prosecutors in New
York City said.
"Mr. Nygard vehemently denies the allegations and expects to
be vindicated in court," defense lawyer Jay Prober told NBC
News.
Nygard appeared before a judge in Winnipeg on Tuesday
afternoon and was ordered to remain in custody, according to
a Court of Queen's Bench of Manitoba spokeswoman. Nygard's
next court date was set for Jan. 13, though he could apply
for bail before then, the court representative said.
Prober claimed his client is "very susceptible to the worst
consequences of Covid-19" and will seek bail. The defense
attorney insisted his client is not a flight risk and made
no effort to hide in the year he's been under U.S.
investigation.
"In this day and age, there's nowhere to go," Prober
said.
"If they argue he's a flight risk, you tell us where is he
going to go?"
But Canadian authorities are already laying the groundwork
to oppose bail, saying his personal wealth of $700 million
make him a prime flight risk.
Cell phone records from Nygard's personal assistant show the
fashion mogul in April thought about travel to Bermuda or
Malta and in June "was considering the logistics of
traveling under an alias." according to arrest warrant
written by RCMP Sgt. Stefane Nicolas.
"I believe Nygard has demonstrated an ongoing intention to
obstruct or defeat criminal investigations," Nicolas added.
Over this 25-year period, he "used the Nygard Group's
influence, as well as its employees, funds, and other
resources, to recruit and maintain adult and minor-aged
female victims for Nygard's sexual gratification and the
sexual gratification of his friends and business
associates," U.S. prosecutors said in a statement.
Nygard "frequently targeted women and minor-aged girls who
came from disadvantaged economic backgrounds and/or who had
a history of abuse," prosecutors added.
A favorite recruitment tool of Nygard's were "pamper
parties" in the Marina del Rey neighborhood of Los Angeles
and the Bahamas, where he'd win over would-be victims with
food, drinks and spa services, according to the indictment.
After finding these "girlfriends," Nygard would continue to
lavish them with "travel, living expenses, dental work,
immigration assistance, plastic surgery, abortions, child
support and medical treatments," the indictment said.
"Many victims were initially inducted, coerced and forced to
have sex with Nygard through one or more of the following:
false promises of modeling or fashion industry jobs; the
supply of alcohol and/or drugs, including the drugging of
drinks without the victim's knowledge; and physical force."
Nygard's "girlfriends" were also taken to "swingers" clubs
in New York, Miami, Los Angeles and Winnipeg, authorities said.
"While at the clubs, Nygard directed and pressured
'girlfriends' through manipulation, intimidation,
degradation, threats and on occasion, force, to engage in
sex with other men in order to facilitate Nygard having sex
with other women and for his own sexual gratification," the
indictment said.
Ongoing Genocide.
The US has officially determined that China is committing
genocide and crimes against humanity against Uyghur Muslims
and ethnic and religious minority groups who live in the
northwestern region of Xinjiang.
"This genocide is ongoing, and we are witnessing the
systematic attempt to destroy Uyghurs by the Chinese
party-state," said US Secretary of State Mike
Pompeo said in a statement Tuesday, on the last full day of
the Trump administration.
"Since at least March 2017, local authorities dramatically
escalated their decades-long campaign of repression against
Uyghur Muslims and members of other ethnic and religious
minority groups, including ethnic Kazakhs and ethnic
Kyrgyz," Pompeo said.
The US State Department has previously estimated that up to
two million Uyghurs, as well as members of other Muslim
minority groups, have been detained in a sprawling network
of internment camps in the region..

HEADMEN'S MENACE CHALLENGED IN THE SOUTHWEST

Ibarapa province is in Oyo State , the central western
Nigeria. This province comprises of Igangan, Tapa, Igboora,
Lanlate etc. The writer is privileged to know these areas in
the years of examinations for Ordinary Levels. Atrocities of
Fulani herdsmen have been a common occurrence for more than
twenty years. It was becoming out of hands with recent
killings of two prominent indigenes of Igangan.
Dr. Fatai was reported to have been brutally massacred
following his complaints against herders who allegedly
pillaged his big farm . Other people have been reportedly
kidnapped by these herdsmen on their own lands and huge
ransom demanded.
All leaders of Yorubaland are either full of lip service to
better the lots of people ,or one way or the other involved
in these atrocities. These leaders are only known when there
is goodies and freebies to share from government.
Traditional leaders that used to be the fathers of all have
been completely politicized and as such been rendered
impotent as far as wielding authorities is concerned. Worst
is Aare Onakakanfo, which title is traditionally known for
insulating Yoruba children from external aggression. Today,
the title has become a subterfuge for relevance or
opportunity to amass wealth and create undue fame for the
occupants.
Traditional titles that used to have purposes are now being
dashed out to people that never added meanings to the
progress of Yoruba race .
Chief Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola ,the winner of the
1993 presidential election, sought to be Aare Onakakanfo to
be able to reach out and protect the image of Yorubaland,
given his philanthropic tendencies. He was the last Aare
Onakakanfo of meaning.
Chief Sunday Adeyemo, popularly called Sunday Igboho has
tacitly taken the position of Aare Onakakanfo in Yorubaland
for offering to defend the image of Yoruba people of Ibarapa
by standing tall against the bad eggs amongst the Fulani
herdsmen of that province. He appears to have taken the
responsibility of the governor of Oyo State upon himself,
particular as the chief security of the state. He led his
troop to Ibarapa, ransacking the nooks and crannies of the
province to eject all Fulani herdsmen from the land. Even
though, this clearly appears to be against the law of the
country, many people of the western Nigeria have lauded his
action while taking into consideration the souls of many
innocent sons and daughters of the place who have been
murdered or kidnapped.
Sunday Igboho is already an undisputable hero for this
gesture because the governor, Seyi Makinde , really behaved
not like an experienced leader on this matter. Instead of
the governor to look into the menace of these assailants, he
found his voice only to threaten Sunday Igboho, who earlier
issued an ultimatum for the Fulani to vacate Ibarapa. Yes,
it was wrong for Igboho to arrogate authorities to himself
and place himself in the position of the governor, but a
wise leader would not address such a sensitive matter fire
for fire!
The writer hereby calls on President Muhammadu Buhari to
intervene in the matter with all sense of humility.
