Note how Opponents of Hadith distort and mutilate the Quran.
by Kaukab Siddique
Nov. 11, 2020
One of the basic points the munkireen (rejectors) of Hadith
make is that the Prophet (pbuh) himself had forbidden the
writing of Hadith. They even quote the Prophet (pbuh) on
this and those who don't know are very impressed.
Now note the following points:
If the rejectors' view of the Qur'an was right (that it
has everything in it, even the details), they would have
been able to bring a verse from the Qur'an which would say:
Hadith of the Prophet is not needed when you have the
Qur'an.
They cannot bring such a verse. So what do they do? They
bring a hadith to support their view!
It is a sign of their dishonesty that they do not quote
the whole hadith. Here is the complete Hadith. I have
italicized the part the rejectors quote:
From Sahih Muslim: "Abu Sa'eed Khudri narrates from the
Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be on him: Do not
write anything from me and whoever has written anything from
me other than the Qur'an should erase it, and narrate hadith
verbally from me: there is no harm in that (in Arabic WA
HADATHU 'UNNI WA LA HARAJ), and whoever deliberately tells a
lie about me should make his place in hellfire."
Would it be wrong to assume that the rejectors have made a
place for themselves in hellfire by falsifying these words
of the Prophet (pbuh) by quoting only half the hadith.
Entire books have been written on this subject by the
scholars of Islam. (One easily available in Urdu is IBN MAJA
AUR 'ILM-e-HADITH by Muhammad Abdur Rasheed Naumani. I read
this about 20 years back.)
The Prophet (pbuh) and later Abu Bakr (ra) did not want the
words of the Qur'an and the words of the Hadith to get mixed
up with each other. Hence the WRITING ONLY of Hadith was
stopped. Remember that the reciters of the Qur'an and the
narrators of the Hadith were the same people, the companions
of the Prophet (Allah be pleased with them). In the early
stages, the danger of the two writings getting mixed up was
very real.
Even then the ban on writing was not complete. There are
numerous narrations which indicate that when a companion
(sahabi) expressed difficulty in remembering the Hadith, the
Prophet (pbuh) not only allowed him but encouraged him to
write it down. Thus many Hadith continued to be written
though memorization was the general rule in those early
days.
Every companion of the Prophet, including 'Umar and Ali
(Allah be pleased with them), depended on the Prophet's
interpretation, explanation and implementation of the Qur'an
(what we call Hadith of the Prophet). Every teaching of the
Qur'an was elaborated by the Sahaba on the basis of the
Prophet's Hadith. Thus those who attack the Hadith are
attacking the entire history of Islam. They are trying to
destroy the credibility of the Sahaba, who also are the
transmitters of the Qur'an, and thus these munkireen do the
work of the Jews to uproot Islam.
HOW THEY HAVE MISUNDERSTOOD THE QUR'AN: Munkireen
(rejectors) have based their whole theory on the idea that
Prophet Muhammad's task was ONLY TO DELIVER THE QUR'AN.
One such person named Mabrook Ismaeel, or someone who hides
behind that name, quotes the last part of 24:54 thus: "The
sole duty of the messenger is to deliver." This is a clear
distortion of the Qur'an if you look at the Arabic original
and the context of the verse.
The words "illa balagh al-Mubeen" (only to preach or
proclaim clearly) can in no way be translated as "only ...
to deliver."
How do we know that? From the Qur'an itself. In several
verses the Qur'an emphasizes the Prophet's mission to
proclaim and preach the message clearly and unambiguosly so
that people can make their choice between acceptance or
rejection. Islam cannot be imposed on anyone. The Qur'an was
brought to the people by the Prophet. He presented it very
honestly and clearly to them. Those who accepted, he
organized them into a community which became the model for
all future Islamic movements.
For instance 16:82, follows evidence of Allah's creativity.
The Prophet is then told" "But if they turn away, thy duty
is only to preach the Clear Message." Thus after he has
brought them the Qur'an, it's up to them to accept or turn
away. He cannot put faith in their hearts.
Even when verses on laws about intoxicants and gambling are
revealed, the Qur'an brings out the same idea of the
responsibility of the audience to make choices, and they
will be judged accordingly in the Hereafter. Here is a verse
immediately after the ban on intoxicants and gambling: "Obey
Allah, and obey the messenger, and beware if you do turn
back, know you that it is our messenger's duty to proclaim
the message in the clearest manner (al balagh al-mubeen in
Arabic)" (5:92)
Thus to claim that because the messenger's duty was to
proclaim the message clearly, he had no other duty is absurd
for anyone who has read the Qur'an. The life, words, actions
of the Prophet were interpretations of the Qur'an. After
5:92, it was his task to remove intoxicants anf gambling and
his actions come to us through the Hadith.
Allah sent the Qur'an with the messenger and together they
fulfill the final message of Allah. In fact, the Prophet
(pbuh) comes first and through him and his sahaba comes the
Qur'an.
There is no way the Qur'an can be understood without the
Prophet's Hadith. That is one reason why the Jews and other
orientalists remain KUFFAR although they have become experts
in Qur'anic terminolgy: they do not and cannot accept the
Prophet (pbuh) because the Prophet's understanding of the
Qur'an brings the Islamic revolution.
Now let's go back to 24:54 and see how the rejectors have
totally distorted the Qur'an. (In other words, here I am
going from comparison with other verses to the context of
the specific verse the rejector used.) I will quote 24:54,
55, 56 to bring out the totality of the message:
Say:"Obey Allah and obey the Messenger: but if ye turn away,
he is only responsible for the duty placed on him and you
for that placed on you. If you obey him, you shall be on the
right guidance. The Messenger's duty is only to proclaim the
clear message." Allah has promised to those among you who
believe and work righteous deeds, that He will, of a surety,
grant them in the land inheritance of power, as he granted
it to those before them; that He will establish in authority
their way of life - the one which He has chosen for them;
and that He will change their state, after the fear in which
they lived, to one of security and peace: They will worship
Me (alone) and not associate anything with Me. If any do
reject faith after this, they are wicked indeed. So
establish prayer and give zakat and OBEY THE MESSENGER that
you may receive mercy.
(emphasis added)
Thus these verses are in fact prophesying the victory of
Islam, under the Prophet and the Sahaba and whenever Muslims
follow authentic Islam. The last verse which I have
emphasized mentions obedience to the Prophet thus shattering
the theory that Allah and His messenger only mean Allah!
Does the Prophet here also mean Allah! (astaghfirullah)
After the message has been proclaimed, the righteous who
accept it are being promised Caliphate (layastakhlifannahum
fil Ard in Arabic).
So there goes the theory that the Prophet (pbuh) was only
sent to "deliver" the message and that's it.
I don't know what these MUNKIREEN make of the verses about
Jihad in the Qur'an. If his task was only to deliver the
message, what about Jihad? Is this another Qadiani attempt
to abrogate Jihad?
Dear readers, our westernized elites (that is all of us)
have been given a severe case of inferiority complex by the
power and glitter of the west. Some of us fall so low that
we start insulting great Muslims like hazrat Abu Huraira and
Imam Bukhari. (Actually through this process such people
like the munkireen are used by the Jews to attack the very
basis of Islam.) A nation which does not respect its
scholars and elders soon becomes a nation of slaves.

Pakistan Situation
Nov 14, 2020
by Mantaqi
Fighting on the Line of Control: Heavy fighting on the Line
of Control (LOC). Casualties on both sides. Artillery,
mortars, and ATGMs (Anti Tank Guided Missiles) used along
with small arms. Pakistan is constrained in targeting as it
has to be careful not to hit the civilian population, as the
population is Muslim and Pakistan considers them as its own
population. India is not constrained by such considerations.
A lot of civilian villages and towns have been hit, with a
lot of homes set on fire. Fire exchange at the LOC is a
regular occurrence. However, this is an escalation since
February 2019, when Pakistan shot down two Indian warplanes,
and panicky Indians shot down one of their own
helicopters.
The Political Alliance of Rogues and Knaves: A coterie of
convicted and indicted criminals, a perceived
homosexual/transsexual, a corrupt religious leader (Mullah)
known for his diesel contracts and named "Mullah Diesel",
along with mini groups of assorted racist and hate groups
are leading a group called Pakistan Democratic Movement
(PDM) to overthrow the government of the duly elected Imran
Khan, and smear the army. They are claiming the elections of
2018 were not fair as they didn't win, and Imran Khan was
able to form a coalition government (does that sound
familiar to American readers?). They have held public
meetings in three cities. The crowds there were large, but
by Pakistani standards not impressive. According to
observers the crowds mostly consisted of party workers and a
"rent a crowd" bused in.
Imran Khan is trying to bring these corrupt politicians to
book for looting the country for decades and making it
bankrupt. The aim of this movement seems to somehow let
these corrupt looters of the country keep their wealth, and
retire to some foreign country to enjoy their ill-gotten
gains; until times change, and they can return to Pakistan,
to batten off the life blood of the country, like a pack of
vampires.
The Government: Imran Khan came to power to end government
corruption and put the looters in prison. Unfortunately for
him, the previous leaders have left a lot of land mines for
him. The anti-corruption institution NAB is full of their
cronies. Their technique is to prepare weak cases that get
dismissed by the courts, and the accused can walk free. They
have put land mines everywhere by planting their cronies in
the judiciary, bureaucracy, police etc. The police protects
Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) land grab mafias. In
Sindh, government schools have been turned into areas to put
livestock, by rural feudal lords, who are the backbone of
support for the ruling party in Sindh, the Pakistan Peoples
Party (PPP). The work against corruption is proceeding, but
is slow, as the courts are ineffective, slow and corrupt.
The people would love Stalinist trails, with public
confessions followed by executions. However, that's is not
possible in Pakistan.
The Economy: Imran Khan got an economy which was bankrupt,
and hocked to the eyebrows. He had to go to the IMF to make
loan payments. Another "gift" left behind by the previous
government was that during their watch Pakistan had been put
on the Financial Anti-terrorism Task Force (FATF) grey list.
This increases the cost of doing business in Pakistan.
However, the macro-economics of the country is turning
around. Pakistan came out much better from the COVID 19
pandemic than other countries of the region. Textile
factories are working 24 hours, and they want to employ
another two hundred thousand people. Exports are increasing.
The stock market is booming. Prices of flour and sugar went
up due to mismanagement, as well as deliberate sabotage by
the bureaucracy and the Sindh government. These prices are
expected to come down soon.
Pakistan
Situation in Pakistan is not good: JI View
LAHORE- November 14: Jamaat-e-Islami Emir Senator Sirajul
Haq has said that Pakistan could not achieve prosperity
without getting rid of the feudal lords and agents of the
imperialistic forces.
The state institutions, he said while addressing a JI Youth
meeting here on Saturday, worked mostly under the influence
of elite ruling class and they were equally responsible to
the public plight.
The JI chief regretted that majority of the political
parties were alien to the concept of democracy and they
acted as family limited groups. There was a dire need, he
said, to introduce the concept of rule of law in the
country, start an across the board accountability drive and
a powerful justice system. The state institutions, he said,
should work for the interest of the country instead of being
faithful to some specific political party.
Sirajul Haq said the deteriorating economy could be fixed
only by getting rid of the interest based financial regime
and making check on non-developmental expenditures on the
luxuries of the rulers. However, he regretted, that the
party which came to power by making tall claims to change
the destiny of the nation has badly failed to show
performance in any of the sector in two and half year. The
PTI, he said, also proved itself the agent of the status
quo, disappointing not only general masses but its voters
and supporters. He said the incumbent government continued
the policies of Parvez Musharraf, the PPP and the PML-N in
every sector. He appealed the people not to trust these
agents of the western power anymore and voted the JI into
power to bring real change in the country.
Meanwhile, JI Deputy Emir Liaqat Baloch said that the
devolution of power to the gross root was necessary for the
national unity. For this, he said, the federal and
provincial governments should immediately hold local
government elections in a transparent manner. He also raised
concern over the reports regarding pre-poll rigging in GB
polls, saying any interference in the Gilgit-Baltistan
election could further put in danger the Kashmir cause. He
regretted the state institutions and political powers were
addict to the habit of election rigging which must be shun
now keeping in mind its international and local impact on
the country. He said the JI had started a campaign to bring
reforms in Pakistan which would continue till the
achievement of goal.

The Real Picture of the Rally in DC for Trump
by Ken Meyercord
I was at the pro-Trump rally in DC today. As you may not
hear much about it in your favorite media, here's my
impression. It was massive, one of the largest I've ever
been to, and, living here in Washington, I've been to a
few.
Pennsylvania Ave. was packed from Freedom Plaza to the
Supreme Court (distance of a mile for those of you who don't
live here). Tens of thousands, though I'll leave it to the
police to say how many tens.
Didn't see any "Proud Boys and other far right groups", as
CNN put it, but I wasn't everywhere. What I saw was a
peaceable assembly of a typical American crowd, a bit heavy
on the driven-snow side perhaps, but that's true of antiwar
marches I have attended, too.
I saw no violence, not even much name-calling between
contending protestors (counter-protestors were hardly to be
seen, except a couple of hundred anti-Trumpers in front of
the White House, a safe distance from Freedom Plaza).
Two notable aspects of the event: (1) no line of parked
charter busses which had transported the faithful here from
out-of-town
(I met people from New Jersey, Colorado, and Florida who had
all made their own way here), (2) no port-a-potties (which
made for some dicey moments for this 76-year-old). Not much
of a sound system, either. It all bespeaks the spontaneous,
sponsor-less, tyro nature of the demonstration.
I suspect there will be larger, better organized ones in the
coming weeks, held by both sides. I'm betting that whoever
takes the oath on the steps of the Capitol on January 20th
will look out on the largest inauguration crowd ever, one
more feisty than festive.

Mozambique
BBC's Fake News Rebutted
The government of Mozambique has rebutted the BBC News that
Islamic State fighters had a beheaded many civilians. The
government says nothing like that has happened.
In fact, three attacks by government troops reinforced by
troops from South Africa and Tanzania were beaten back by IS
fighters who have captured North Eastern Mozambique. [BBC is
notorious for publishing fake news about IS, although most
of its World News is accurate]
Iraq
Serious attack inside Baghdad.
In a surprise attack, 11 government soldiers were killed.
The attackers escaped. Islamic State is suspected.
[Numerous other attacks by IS all over the country are
reported but no details are available.]
Pakistan
Artillary on Both Sides
On Friday, Nov 13, an artillery duel happened between
Pakstani and Indian troops on the LOC [line of control]. One
Pakistani soldier and 5 Kashmiri civilians were killed, and
30 were injured. Several houses were demolished by the
Indians. Pakistan's artillery response reportedly killed 3
Indian soldiers and 7 civilians and injured several others.
Details are not available. This is the first clash in a
long period of time.
Azerbaijan
Pro-Armenian forces Capitulate
After Azerbaijani troops captured the town of Shushi and
threatened the Karabakh, the pro-Armenian forces decided to
stop fighting and to hand over two regions of Karabakh to
Azerbaijan. Syrian mujaheddin forces supported by Turkey
played a major role in the defeat of the pro-Armenian
forces. Turkey says if the Armenian's break this
cease-fire, there will be major consequences.
Syria
Fighting around the country
Details are not available but it seems that pro-Turkish
Syrians are fighting communist Kurds in the Northwest near
Aleppo. Islamic State forces are fighting Iranian and other
Shia militias supporting Assad in the provinces of Homs,
Hama and Southeastern Deir ez Zhor. Conflict and tension
are reported from Dera province. Details are not available
at the time of publishing, but should be in the next issue.
Pro-Assad Shia militias are shelling villages in Irbid
province and are being answered by mortar and machine gun
fire coming from suspected pro-Al-Qaeda groups.
Iran. Israel. Egypt
Attack by Israeli Agents in Iran killed leader. Revenge
attack in Sinai [Egypt].
NY Times reports that in August, Israeli agents killed a top
al-Qaeda leader Muhammad al-Masri and his daughter in Iran.
The killers escaped. The daughter was the widow of Osama bin
Laden's son.
In a seeming revenge attack on November 13, an American
helicoptor was shot down in the Sinai, killing 5 American
officers, a Czech officer, and a French officer. An 8th
officer was wounded and airlifted to Israel where he also
later died. The U.S. says it was a mechanical failure, but
this claim was made so soon after the crash that it casts
doubts on its accuracy because the U.S. typically spends
months investigating crashes to determine the exact cause.
It is US policy to not "give credit" to opposers, so the
cause may not be mechanical.
According to Al-Jazeera IS groups fighting against Egypt are
active in the Sinai.
[Readers might remember when a Russian helicopter recently
crashed in Libya, there were no casualties and pilots were
quickly rescued].
Libya
Female Activist Gunned Down
Hanan al-Barassi, a prominent Libyan lawyer and women's
rights activist, was gunned down by armed men Tuesday in the
eastern city of Benghazi.
Her killing in Benghazi came just a day after she shared
comments on social media criticizing the son of renegade
military general and LNA leader Khalifa Haftar. And in
videos posted publicly on her Facebook page, al-Barassi
expressed criticism of figures loyal to the LNA.
In a livestream shared on Monday, just a day before her
killing, she said she would not be silenced by threats.
"I won't surrender, only with bullets will I ever surrender
-- if I die, so be it. Only in death will I be silenced.
Tomorrow I will have several surprises [to share], several
surprises," she told viewers.

'Verily the believer exhausts his devil just like one of you
exhausts his camel during travel.' meaning the believer wears
out his devil, so he debilitates him and makes him lose weight
from his grief and sadness because he is not able to tempt him!
Just like the person wears out his riding camel during
travel and makes it lose weight due to the length of
the travel and its hardships and this is the condition of the
believer with his devil in the constant struggle with him
he resists his plots and plans and whispers by always being firm
upon the obedience of ALLAH the Exalted and Mighty...{!}
Ibn Abi Dunya{Allah be pleased with him} narrates in his book
"The plots of the devil" Verily a devil meets another devil so he
says to him why is it that I see you looking so sickly? (Meaning
the change is weight)" The other devil replies...
' Verily I am with a man that if he eats he remembers the name
of ALLAH ! so I can not eat with him...! and if he drinks he
remembers the name of ALLAH so I can not drink with him!
and if he enters into his home he remembers the name
of ALLAH so I am rejected outside of the house'...{!}
The other devil says, but as for me then I am with a man
if he eats he does not remember ALLAH so he and I eat together,
and if he drinks he does not remember ALLAH
so I drink with him, and when he enters his home he does
not remember ALLAH so I enter with him...{!}

Hadith of the Week
Narrated by 'Aisha, r.a.:
The Prophet intended to return home after the performance of
the Hajj, and he saw Safiya standing at the entrance of her
tent, depressed and sad because she got her menses.
The Prophet said, "Aqra Halqa! -An expression used in the
Quraish dialect meaning "You will detain us."
The Prophet then asked (her),
"Did you perform the Tawaf Al-Ifada on the Day of Sacrifice
(10th of Dhul-Hijja)?"
She said, "Yes."
The Prophet said, "Then you can leave (with us)."
As-slamu alaikum,
Allah said in the Qur'an (3:159):
"فَبِمَا
رَحۡمَةٍ
مِّنَ
اللّٰهِ
لِنۡتَ
لَهُمۡۚ
وَلَوۡ
كُنۡتَ
فَظًّا
غَلِيۡظَ
الۡقَلۡب¦
لَانْفَض§ُوۡا مِنۡ
حَوۡلِكَ.."
"Due to Allah's mercy, you are gentle with them.
Had you been severe and harsh hearted, they would have fled
from around you."
This was the quality of the Prophets and this is the
characteristic that all those who seek to guide others to
Allah must have. As it was essential for the Prophets, it is
essential for us. It is essential for parents, with regard
to their children.
Oh Allah, I am indeed harsh, so make me gentle; I am
weak,
so make me strong and
make me generous.
Ameen.
Settlement watchdog says
the Israel Land Authority opened tenders for more than 1,200
new homes in East Jerusalem.
A settlement watchdog group says Israel is moving ahead with
new construction of hundreds of homes in an illegal East
Jerusalem settlement that threatens to cut off parts of the
city claimed by Palestinians from the West Bank.
The group, Peace Now, said the Israel Land Authority
announced on its website on Sunday that it had opened up
tenders for more than 1,200 new homes in Givat Hamatos in
East Jerusalem.
Construction could then begin
within months.
"This is a lethal blow to the prospects for peace," Peace
Now said in a statement, adding Israel was "taking advantage
of the final weeks of the President Donald Trump's
administration in order to set facts on the ground that will
be exceedingly hard to undo in order to achieve peace".
The move may test ties with the incoming administration of
Biden, who is expected to take a firmer tack against the
expansion of illegal Israeli settlements after four years of
a more lenient policy under Trump, who has largely turned a
blind eye to the construction.
The approval of the 1,200 homes is a further setback to
dwindling hopes of an internationally-backed partition deal
that would enable the establishment of a Palestinian state
alongside Israel.
Volkswagen defends its decision to continue operating a car
plant in Xinjiang.
Xinjiang is a Chinese region mired in allegations of
large-scale human rights abuses by the state. And evidence
that hundreds of thousands of Uighurs and other minorities
are being detained in camps, or used as forced labour in
factories, has led some multinational companies to cut ties
with the region, despite China's insistence that the claims
are untrue.
Volkswagen's critics argue that it has a particular moral
obligation not to be involved in such practices because of
its history.
The company was founded by the ruling German Nazi Party in
1937 and used forced labour - including concentration camp
prisoners - in its factories during WWII.
But in an interview with the BBC in Beijing, the company's
CEO in China, Stephan Wollenstein, defended Volkswagen's
presence in Xinjiang's capital, Urumqi, where it runs a
factory with 600 workers, producing up to 20,000 vehicles a
year.
"What happened in the Nazi times was something that happened
in our factories where we had forced labour, people
producing Volkswagen cars," he said.
"This certainly is an unacceptable situation. Therefore, we
are making sure that none of our production sites have
forced labour, and this is something that we specifically
checked in Urumqi and I can assure you, we do not have
forced labour."
But when asked whether he could be absolutely certain of
that claim and give an assurance that none of the Urumqi
workforce - of which around 25% is made up of Uighurs and
other minorities - had been in a camp, Dr Wollenstein said
he couldn't.
"We try to control our company-related processes, including
the HR process, which, for instance, means the hiring of
people in the best possible manner," he said.
"And this reduces for us the risk that something happens
which we do not like and which is not complying to our
standards. But I guess we could never reach 100%
certainty."
Dividend of #EndSARS Protest
By Abdulkabir Oyemomi
Recall that I hinted that Nigeria was sitting on a keg of
gun powder in the last article. Many people had thought
because our matter did not end up in physical war , we could
sleep two eyes closed. No.
Before the agitation for a stop at the menace of Nigeria
Police Force in general and that of Special Anti - Robbery
Squad (SARS) in particular, it was not that there was
security in any part of the country: there were banditry
attacks in almost all parts of the North, Kidnapping was
reigning everywhere, especially the Eastern part of the
country, human rituals was a norm in the West( courtesy of
priests and marabout self acclaimed Ulema of Islam as well
as pastors of various Pentecostals ), daily killings by cult
members of different adversary fraternities ; Now we know
unrests have grades!
The last protest was clearly a battle for government for
hoodlums. Participants were only hiding under the banners of
#Endsars because the first active protesters were internet
fraudstars popularly referred to as ' Yahoo Boys'. These
guys were against SARS because the only stumbling block to
them were men of SARS. But these boys got sympathy of many
because these members of SARS were not bringing them to book
but making them as fortune machines for themselves. When
these boys were caught in this dastardly acts, SARS
negotiated with them and went with largest chunk of their
ill-gotten fortunes. Other people in the protest were do or
die politicians, who wanted to blackmail the government of
the day to gain sympathies of the electorates.
The main crux of this piece is what ordinary Nigerians are
facing now. Now, Nigerians can not move freely and feel safe
because you can be attacked at any time and anywhere! The
Police have refused to come out because they are more
engulfed with fear than ordinary people now. Many police
were murdered in the wake of last protest. Their stations
were destroyed by these hoodlums protesters as if Police
were not Nigerians or had adequate care from government!
Truly, there have been untoward hardships in the land. The
government is helpless or clueless or both. It has been
promises upon promises without achievement. Everything is
almost out of order! Pump price of fuel increased with lame
excuses. This government appears to be bringing hardships
more than what they met. Nothing seems to be working as
everybody is running out of patience. All these call for
sincere yearning. But if those protesting against all these
abnormalities could result in maiming and killing and
destroying of properties, then this country could hardly
produce a sane leader or leadership.
The writer believes strongly that we are here today because
of over reliance in human beings, while we think less of
Allah, the perfect. The earlier we resort back to Allah ,
the better for us all.
