What's wrong with our Masjids?

Salaams brothers and Sisters.
If our masjids are to be the way the prophet's masjid was,
we must follow his example. Any other way than the prophet's
way will not succeed.
The masjids are to be built with our own resources.
If we are funded by the Saudis or the US government or any
other entity we will be controlled. We will be told what to
say and do. The Prophet's masjid was strong and independent
he did not ask for the kuffar's help.
We must remember the masjid was a multi purpose facility,
not just for Salat.
Lastly, our sisters must be included in all aspects of the
masjid because they are the other half of the Ummah.
Remember there is no other way than the Prophet's way as He
is the best example if we want Our masjids to succeed.

Imran's government is no better than previous ones [JI]

LAHORE- Oct 3: Jamaat-e-Islami Emir Senator Sirajul Haq has
reiterated the demand for across the accountability, saying
the current anti-corruption drive has lost the credibility
among the masses because of its political motivated
agenda.
Addressing a ceremony in his honor here on Sunday, he said
the majority of the parliamentarians would land in jails if
the fair and impartial accountability process started in the
country.
He said the National Accountability Bureaus turned blind
eyes towards the corrupt elements sitting in government
ranks. He said majority of the people named in Panama Leaks
were part of the three mainstream parties and they
considered them not answerable to anyone.
"People lost trust on the three parties and they are
demanding for real change," he said, adding three parties
only deceived the poor masses on their turns and did nothing
for the betterment of a common man. Besides the three
parties, he said, military dictators and generals played key
role in destruction of the institutions and economy.
The PTI regime, he said, proved it most dangerous than its
predecessors. The Imran Khan government, he added, completed
the agenda of the past regimes to completely damage the
economy and key institutions. The fact was that, he
regretted, the corrupt mafia had only looted the country's
resources in past seven decades, showing no interest in
public welfare.
"The PTI, the PML-N and the PPP are fighting each others
only for attaining power and securing their petty
interests," he said, adding the people witnessed their unity
in the parliament on different issues in the past from
extension of army chief tenure to FATF. He said FATF-related
legislation was an attempt to surrender the sovereignty of
the country and sell the freedom of masses. Yet, he said,
the so-called mainstream opposition and treasury benches
demonstrated unity on this anti-Pakistan legislation which
was proof of the fact that these agents of the status quo
were standing in a queue when it came to the matter of
slavery of the western powers and institutions. He also
pointed out the wave of sectarianism recently gripped the
country, terming it another dangerous attempt to destabilize
Pakistan.
"The country could no more be left on the pity of those who
looted its resources and are divided and destabilized it, "
said the JI chief, requesting the masses to be part of the
JI to put the state on the path of development. He said the
JI was the only party, which could transform Pakistan into a
real Islamic welfare state if voted to power.
JI Secretary General Ameerul Azim also addressed the
gathering and shared with them the future strategy of the
Jamaat-e-Islami to get rid of the status quo parties.
Agha Khanis selling Pork and Alchohol

"It was narrated from Jābir ibn ʿAbdallāh
(may Allāh be pleased with him) that he heard the
Prophet ﷺ say when he was in Makkah at the time of
the Conquest:
"Allāh and His Messenger have forbidden the sale of
alcohol, dead meat, pork and idols." It was said: "O
Messenger of Allāh, what do you think of the fat of
dead animals, for ships are caulked with it and animal skins
are daubed with it, and the people use it to light their
lamps?" He said: "No, it is haraam." Then the Prophet
ﷺ said: "May Allāh curse the Jews, for when
Allāh forbade them animal fat, they melted it down and
sold it, and consumed its price."
Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 1212; Muslim, 1581
Al-Nawawi said:
"With regard to dead meat, alcohol and pork, the Muslims are
unanimously agreed that it is haram to sell all of
these".
Al-Qaadi said:
"This hadeeth indicates that whatever we are forbidden to
eat or make use of, we are also forbidden to sell, and it is
not permissible to consume its price, as in the case of the
animal fat mentioned in this hadeeth."
Sharah al-Muslim, 11.8
Ibn Rajab al-Hanbali said, after quoting the ahaadeeth about
the prohibition on alcohol:
"The conclusion we may draw from all these
aḥādīth is that whatever Allāh has
forbidden us to make use of, it is also ḥarām to
sell it and consume its price, as is stated clearly in the
ḥadīth: "The Prophet ﷺ said: When
Allāh forbids something, taking a price for that is
also forbidden."
Narrated by Abū Dawood 3488
This is a general, comprehensive phrase which applies to
everything which is intended to be used in ḥarām
ways. However, that does not seem to be a cause for concern
for Karim Aga Khan as AKDN has set up a business in Kenya
for selling pork products, exhibiting it on the AKDN
website. The business is called "Farmer's Choice" and is
operational in Kenya.
Aga Khan has already been selling alcohol in Serena Hotels
for decades in violation of the following
ḥadīth:
"The Prophet ﷺ said that alcohol is cursed from ten
angles: its presser, its squeezer, its drinker, its bearer,
its carrier, its bearer, its seller, the one who consumed
its price, the purchaser of it, and the one who bought it."

Ramifications of Breonna Taylor's family settlement. A
dastardly betrayal perpetuated by attorney Benjamin
Crump.

Although many athletes and activists are crushed by the
grand jury's decision not to indict the three officers in
the murder of EMT worker Breonna Taylor, none of them waited
with baited breath for an indictment. Many people said that
they were not surprised that none of the officers were
indicted on murder.
The events leading up to these officers walking free were
all planned! It does not matter that there was an
African-American attorney general. He is a black face in a
high place, as former radio personality, Bob Law would say.
Community Cop Show co-host Michael Greys refers to these
Blacks as gate-keepers. These are Black people who operate
in the name of white supremacy. W.E.B. DuBois once stated
that white supremacy is a world-wide phenomenon. People all
over the world have been affected by it, detrimentally,
including white people themselves.
Attorney General Daniel Cameron, District Attorney Thomas
Wine, Mayor Greg Fischer, and Taylor's family attorney
Benjamin Crump were all working together in this most evil
plot to ensure the freedom of these accused officers.
Community Cop Show co-host Noel Leader pointed out that
there is a start to each investigation and many convictions
have been tossed out of court simply because the
investigation had a questionable start. In the Breonna
Taylor case, it is how the "no-knock" warrant was acquired
that is a problem. The officer claimed that the postal
inspector told him that drugs had been illegally delivered
to Taylor's apartment. However, the postal inspector not
only disputes this but says that his records show that no
drugs were ever delivered to that apartment! So, where did
this officer get this information?
Because of the issues with the "no-knock" warrant, now it is
being said that the officers did not go to Breonna Taylor's
residence, at 1:30 am, to serve a warrant. But, co-host
Michael Greys stated that if no warrant was to be served
then, why was there a battering ram present. Greys also
pointed out that even the most dangerous criminals, such as
Alphonse Capone and John Gotti, received courtesy calls to
their attorneys notifying them of their client's impending
arrest. Did Breonna Taylor pose that much of a threat that
the police could not risk such a courtesy?!
Attorney General Cameron held a press conference discussing
his handling of the grand jury investigation, which he
initially claimed would be thorough. However, these are
important points he glossed over or never mentioned at
all:
The subject of this warrant, Jamarcus Glover, was already
in custody. Apparently, no due diligence was done before
serving this warrant.
There were no drugs or money found in Breonna Taylor's
home.
None of the accused officers were questioned during the
grand jury investigation. What assurances were they given
that they would be okay without telling their side?
It also took over twenty minutes for Taylor to receive
any medical attention.
Eleven people stated that officers never identified
themselves before entering the apartment. However, Cameron
focused on the one individual who changed his story to say
that officers did actually identify themselves.
The FBI wanted to get involved in the investigation of
the case but, was told that its services would be limited to
the ballistics of the guns used and nothing more.
Cameron said that officers had a right to return fire at
the boyfriend, Kenneth Walker, but, why didn't he die? Why
was unarmed Breonna Taylor killed?
It has been stated that Breonna Taylor was a soft target
or not the subject of the warrant but why did officers
behave so aggressively?
The attorney general's office will not be handling the
investigation into the issuing of this "no-knock" warrant.
No reason has been given.
This whole investigation was flawed from the very beginning.
How is it that the indictments are against one cop for
recklessly shooting into a neighbor's home but, not for all
of their actions leading to the death of the intended
target, Breonna Taylor?
There were efforts to besmirch Breonna Taylor's name by
pressuring her ex-boyfriend, Jamarcus Glover, to state that
she was involved with his alleged drug dealings, which he
refused. Kudos to him! This means that there were efforts to
get these officers off all along. When these efforts to
discredit Taylor failed, they quickly settled, although no
one admitted to any wrong-doing. The grand jury had not
rendered its verdict, yet, but based on previous events,
anyone could prognosticate no murder indictments.
This case wreaks to the high heavens!
The attorney general's decision to reveal and withhold
certain evidence is prosecutorial misconduct. He is supposed
to present all of the evidence to the grand jury and let
them decide if there will be indictments. Therefore, he
influenced the outcome of this case! There have been
instances where jurors, who acquitted or refused to indict
someone, later stated that had they known about key evidence
they would have voted to indict or convict.
The hypocrite is the worst enemy. These people gain their
victims' confidence by focusing on shared similarities:
race, sex, familial ties, religion. The attorney general and
attorney Benjamin Crump (The Chump) used their race as a way
to gain the trust of oppressed Blacks in this country to get
votes and their money, respectively. Breonna Taylor's family
probably thought that this settlement was the first step in
achieving justice for her. Instead, it was the only solace
in this unfortunate event.
Most of the time, these settlements forever bar these
families from discussing the specifics of these murder
cases, which is why we never hear from them afterwards.
Community Cop Show co-host Noel Leader stated that since the
case against these officers had been botched and Crump
sought the settlement, first, any unanswered questions about
this case will remain unanswered. And, most importantly, no
one will ever go to jail! Crump has made sure that he never
has to confront these officers in a true effort to get
justice for Breonna Taylor.
This was a treacherous act on behalf of family attorney
Benjamin Crump! He was silent throughout this entire
process, except when he gave himself that hard pat on the
back for getting the largest settlement in a police shooting
case, in which he gets $4 million.
The photos of Benjamin Crump comforting Breonna Taylor's
mother and raising their arms in victory, only after
announcing the settlement, shows his evil nature. A true
God-fearing person would not be able to look himself in the
mirror let alone look his victim in the eye! While the
family was seeing red, Benjamin Crump was seeing dollar
signs.
He is in league with the devil and should never be trusted.

Invitation to Think
If you don't want to wear a mask, come to work with me

I am an emergency medicine physician in an inner-city
emergency department, and I would like to start by stating a
simple truth: coronavirus is not going away any time soon.
Cases are climbing in practically every state and show no
signs of slowing down. From my personal perspective, things
are getting worse. Every day I am treating more and more
patients who are ill with COVID-19 infections. Given the
spiraling case numbers, I find the refusal of some people to
wear masks completely baffling. Yet I know the idea of
wearing a mask stirs up a strong, visceral reaction in many
who feel their personal freedoms are being curtailed. Maybe
you, reading this now, are one of these individuals. If that
is the case, I have a simple offer: please come to work with
me.
In my emergency department on a typical day, you will see
the very real and sometimes deadly consequences of
coronavirus infections. You will watch as patients, some of
them otherwise healthy, engage in a terrifying struggle to
breathe. You can also watch as I intubate some of these
patients and place them on a ventilator, then pray that my
intensive care unit has a bed available. You can listen as I
tell patients they have coronavirus, and you can stand there
silently while I hold their hand as they cry. Do you think
wearing a mask in your grocery store is unpleasant? If so,
then wearing a gown, an N95 surgical mask, two sets of
gloves, and face shield into every patient's room will be
really uncomfortable for you. I won't even mention to you
that, even with all of that on, you are still over three
times more likely than the general public to catch
coronavirus by working in a hospital. And if you do, your
colleagues will have to take care of you and possibly watch
you die - a wrenching circumstance that is happening all
over the country, and which recently happened in the city
where I live.
You may view wearing a mask as an infringement on your civil
liberties, but for those of us in healthcare, it is a
numbers game. Every person who refuses to practice basic
preventive measures such as social distancing and wearing a
mask increases the transmission of the virus. More
transmission means more cases. Admittedly, the majority of
those infected will only have mild symptoms and recover.
Sadly, that's not true for everyone, and I have
unfortunately borne witness to that. Remember, those of us
who work in the emergency department will be called upon to
care for every single one of those who become critically ill
with COVID-19 infections. We don't have the option of
refusing to treat these patients the way you have the option
of refusing to wear a mask. To put it another way, we don't
have the "freedom" to keep ourselves safe, even though you
have the "freedom" to endanger us.
Masks work. There is solid data from the CDC showing that
masks drastically decrease transmission of the virus. Given
that people can transmit the virus while otherwise appearing
completely healthy, it is paramount that everyone wears a
mask. In fact, counties with mask mandates are seeing cases
drop. Those without are, predictably, experiencing surges in
cases.
To me, refusing to wear a mask is unacceptable. By not
wearing a mask in public, you are helping to transmit a
deadly virus. Your actions are condemning countless people
to serious illness and possibly death. You feel your freedom
is being limited by wearing a mask? With freedom comes
responsibility, and also consequences. If you insist on
refusing to wear a mask, then at least have the courage to
come see the consequences of your choices. Please come to
work with me and see things from my perspective. Wearing a
mask in public will seem a pretty small inconvenience after
you do.
'AZAAN' A MIRACLE ! *
Amazing as it sounds, fortunately, for the Muslims
of the world, it is an established fact...{!}
Please look at a map of the world and read
the facts below...
You will find Indonesia on the eastern side of the
earth.
The major cities of Indonesia are Java, Sumatra, Borneo
and Saibil. As soon as dawn breaks on the eastern side
of Saibil, at approximately 5:30 a.m local time,
'Fajar' Azaan begins...!
Thousands of Muazzins in Indonesia begin reciting the
Azaan.
The process advances towards West Indonesia. One and
a half hours after the 'Azaan' has been completed in
Saibil,
it echoes in Jakarta , Sumatra then follows suit and
before this auspicious process of calling Azaan ends in
Indonesia,
it has already begun in Malaysia ... {!}
Burma is next in line, and within an hour of its
beginning
in Jakarta, it reaches Dacca, the capital city of
Bangladesh.
After Bangladesh, it has already prevailed in western
India,
from Calcutta to Srinagar...
It then advances towards Bombay and the environment of
entire India resounds with this proclamation.
Srinagar and Sialkot (a northern city in Pakistan ) have
the same timing for Azaan. The time difference between
Sialkot, Quetta , and Karachi is forty minutes, and within this time,
Fajar Azaan is heard throughout Pakistan ... {!}
Before it ends there, it has already begun in
Afghanistan and Muscat ...{!}
The time difference between Muscat and Baghdad is one
hour. Azaan resounds during this one hour in the
environments of Hijaaz-e-Muqaddas !
(Holy cities of Makkah and Madinah), Yemen United
Arab Emirates , Kuwait and Iraq.
The time difference between Baghdad and Alexandria
in Egypt is again one hour.
The Azaan continues to resound in Syria, Egypt, Somalia
and Sudan during this hour.
The time difference between eastern and western Turkey
is one and a half hours, and during this Alexandria and
Tripoli (capital of Libya ) are located at one hour's difference.
The process of calling 'Azaan' thus continues throughout the
whole of Africa ...{!}
Therefore, the proclamation of the "Tawheed" and
"Risaalat" that had begun in Indonesia reaches the Eastern Shore of
the Atlantic Ocean after nine and half hours {!}
Prior to the 'Azaan' reaching the shores of the Atlantic, the
process of "Zohar Azaan" has already started in east Indonesia,
and before it reaches Dacca , "Asr Azaan" has started.
This has hardly reached Jakarta one and half hours later,
the time of "Maghrib" Salat becomes due, and no sooner
has
"Maghrib" time reached Sumatra , the time for calling
"Isha Azaan" has commenced in Saibil...{!}
When the Muazzins of Indonesia are calling out "Fajar
Azaan", the African Muazzins are calling the 'Azaan' for
Isha Salat...!
If we were to ponder over this phenomenon thoughtfully,
we would conclude the amazing fact that there is not even
a single moment when hundreds of thousands of Muazzins
around the world are not reciting the Azaan on the surface
of this earth.Even as you read this material right now,
you can be sure there is 'Azaan' somewhere !!!

'Reclaiming India' Conference: Leading Indian activists say
Hindutva a threat to Indian Constitution
Washington, D.C., October 3, 2020
Leading Indian activists, intellectuals and academicians
made a unanimous declaration today that India's
constitutional democracy faces a serious threat from the
rise of Hindu nationalism, and the only way that challenge
can be combated was by a return to secular liberal pluralism
and strengthening of the Constitution.
Joining discussions on the first day of the two-day virtual
conference, "Reclaiming India", on Saturday, October 3,
2020, several speakers from both the United States and India
drew a parallel between the ongoing assaults on civil
liberties in both countries, and said it was important for
activists in both societies to join hands in this
struggle.
The conference is being organized by five leading Indian
American civil rights organizations: Hindus for Human
Rights, Global Indian Progressive Alliance, India Civil
Watch International, Students Against Hindutva Ideology, and
Indian American Muslim Council.
Conference Schedule and Speakers
Renowned African American activist, Rev. William Barber, a
US-based Protestant minister and co-chair of the Poor
People's Campaign, said both the US and India were seeing a
battle of "human rights versus authoritarianism." Just as
some "moral considerations" were separated from economics to
justify slavery in the US in the past, "immoral voices" were
siding with "authoritarianism on the side of rugged raw
nationalism," he added.
Rev. Barber recalled that just after America's Civil War in
the 1860s, the poor white people "who had been taught to
hate black people came to see that, ultimately, injustice
and slavery and authoritarianism would kill us all and first
would always kill the poorest because the slaveholders used
the poorest whites to fight the war."
Veteran Indian historian Rajmohan Gandhi noted that India
was faced with a "very serious assault on our democracy" and
a "destruction of democratic and human rights, of the notion
of equality." Although an attempt had not yet been made to
change India's Constitution, an "informal imposition of
inequality, especially directed at the Muslims and the
Christians" was already happening, he added.
"People are being arrested without due process and detained
without trial and charges," Gandhi said of the current
situation in India. "A whole propaganda is being unleashed
to enable the actual end of democratic rights in India."
Gandhi, who is a grandson of Mahatma Gandhi, urged Rev.
Barber to take up India's dire situation "for the sake of
humanity and raise your voices in defense of Gandhi's
values, in defense of universal values." Rev. Barber
responded by saying he would like to organize a visit of
American activists to India to observe the situation
firsthand.
Renowned Indian historian and a biographer of Mahatma
Gandhi, Ramchandra Guha blamed Prime Minister Narendra Modi
for India's all-round failures, saying Mr. Modi's government
had "conducted an assault on India's already vulnerable
social fabric. Modi is not only the divider-in-chief but
also India's destroyer-in-chief."
Discrimination against Dalits, Adivasis, Women and
especially Muslims has massively intensified under Mr.
Modi's rule. "The persecution of Kashmiris and the
abrogation of Article 370 of India's Constitution was a
clear message that Modi's India cannot have a
Muslim-majority state," Guha added.
He said the Modi government's "malign economic policies had
destroyed 30 years of economic growth." Its other failures
included "the further emasculation of public institutions;
the corruption and corrosion of our democratic ethos; the
attacks on minorities, and the destruction of the
environment; and finally, our place as a country in the
neighborhood and in the world."
That India had gone from being "one of the fastest growing
countries in the world to having a negative growth rate of
almost 24% in the last quarter is largely attributed to Modi
and his grossly mistaken policies." Guha added that India
needed "not only a political opposition but a moral,
intellectual, and ideological opposition, which the
Reclaiming India conference is helping us build."
Speaking on the scourge of casteism in Indian society,
Martin Macwan, a Dalit rights activist and a winner of the
Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Award, said, "We have two
rules in India, the rule of the constitution and the rule of
caste. The constitution did not end the rule of caste. And
so, India cannot be reclaimed today, not until we liberate
it from an inhumane caste system."
Delhi University student activist Swati Khanna spoke of the
imprisonment of scholars, journalists or activists, under
draconian laws such as the Unlawful Activities (Prevention)
Act (UAPA). There was a need "to shift our narrative from
politics of emotion to politics of justice and equality and
constitutionalism. We need to cultivate the mindset of youth
in our country that it is ultimately the constitution that
gives you rights," Khanna added.
Khalid Ansari of Indian American Muslim Council said today
India's democracy is facing an existential threat. This
threat stems from the fascist ideology of Hindutva and its
deep nexus with crony capitalism. The devastation caused by
this Hindutva virus is not limited to religious minorities,
Dalits and Adivasis, but also the women, students and the
working class. "The demonetization caused immense suffering
to the poor and owners of small businesses while the
ill-conceived and ill executed lockdown uprooted millions
from their livelihood. Instead of timely relief to those
impacted most, the Hindutva diehards were busy stoking
Islamophobia and empty ritualistic shows of national
resolve," Ansari added.

In fact, we should do our good deeds, like giving charity,
in such a way that our left hand won't know what our right
hand has given.

October 2. Large crowds gathered in shia majority cities of
southern Iraq.They revived memories of the shias who were
killed last year in protests against the Baghdad regime.
Women were carrying pictures of the 600 and more who were
killed by the regime while protesting against corruption and
Iranian influence.
In the north of Iraq, the Kurdish Peshmerga forces are
calling for continuing US support against Islamic State

"Corona Dogs" are Detecting Coronavirus at Airports with High Success Rate
Dogs trained to detect the novel coronavirus began sniffing
passenger samples at Finland's Helsinki-Vantaa airport this
week, authorities said, in a pilot project running alongside
more usual testing at the airport.
A team of 15 dogs and 10 instructors are being trained for
the job in Finland by volunteers, sponsored by a private
veterinary clinic. Among them is Kossi, a rescue dog from
Spain, who was trained as a sniffer dog in Finland and who
has worked before detecting cancers.
"What we've seen in our research is that the dogs will find
(the disease) five days before they (patients) get any
clinical symptoms," Anna Hielm-Bjorkman, who is Adjunct
Professor at the University of Helsinki and spesialised in
clinical research for companion animals, told Reuters.
"They are very good (at it). We come close to 100-percent
sensitivity," she said, referring to the dogs's ability to
detect cases of the virus.
In the canine test, a passenger swipes their neck with a
gauze, places it in a can which is then handed over to
another room for a dog to sniff and to deliver an immediate
result.
A few months ago, authorities in the United Arab Emirates
embarked on similar canine testing at Dubai International
Airport using police dogs.
"In the future, it's also possible... that these dogs go
around passengers in a similar way to customs dogs," Vantaa
deputy mayor Timo Aronkyto, said.
Jewish Settler Rams into Flock, Kills 10 Sheep near Hebron
A Jewish settler rammed his car into a flock of sheep to the
south of Hebron city, killing 10 sheep, according to the
Palestinian news agency WAFA.
Coordinator of the Protection Committees in Masafer Yatta
and Southern Hebron Fuad al-'Amur told WAFA that a Jewish
settler deliberately rammed his car into a herd belonging to
Ali al-Awawdeh in Khallet al-Nayas, near Hebron (Al-Khalil),
killing 10 sheep.
Settler violence against Palestinians and their property is
routine in the West Bank and is rarely prosecuted by Israeli
authorities.
"Jewish settler violence should not be analyzed separately
from the violence meted out by the Israeli army, but seen
within the larger context of the violent Zionist ideology
