Ayasofya in Turkey. Babri masjid in India.
Role of mosques globally.
Triumph and Tragedy.
On August 8, Jamaat al-Muslimeen's shoora committee met to
focus the attention of the ummah on mosques.
Br. Kaukab Siddique, ameer of the Jamaat, said that the
topic of mosques came out of the inspiring Turkish renewal
of Ayasofya (Hagia Sofia) as an Islamic place of worship. It
had been a museum for 85 years. It was a great victory for
Islam in Turkey under the leadership of Erdogan.
On the other hand, only days back, Israel burned down a
mosque and turned it into a drinking place. And in India,
the 500 year old Babri masjid was demolished by Hindu mobs.
Muslims protested in large numbers but were unarmed and were
brutally slaughtered by hindu extremists while the police
stood by and watched. Now under the Modi regime, India has
decided to build a temple where the masjid stood.
Most masjids globally are between the victory in Turkey and
the horrors in India.
Br. Kaukab concluded his intro with sura 9 verse 18 from the
Quran.
The conference was held via Zoom. The main speakers
were:
Br. Salahuddin from Colorado.
Br. Shoaib from England.
Br. Abu Talib from Brooklyn, New York.
Sis. Aisha from New York city.
Sis. Ashira from Baltimore.
Sis. Nadrat from Washington, DC
Imam Abdul Hakim Mumin from prison system via Sis. Khadija.
Br. Abdul Shakur, shoora member from masjid Jamaat in Baltimore
Sis. Patricia and others were also attending. Br. Shaikh
Hyder sent a message about the environment, from Canada
The zoom system was organized by sis. Kristi.
The program was moderated by Br. Kaukab Siddique.
Br. Salahuddin took the mosque of the Prophet, pbuh, in
Madina as the key example for Muslims. It was built by the
prophet Muhammad, pbuh, himself, and the sahaba. For
Muslims, the whole earth is a masjid and prayers can be held
anywhere. (Hadith.) So the masjid, as shown by the prophet,
pbuh, is a rallying point for Islamic resurgence, for da'wa,
for mobilization, for justice and much more, not just
prayers.
Br. Salahuddin said the Saudis have turned the prophet's,
pbuh, masjid into a monument with no say for the suffering
and struggle of the global ummah.
Masjid al-Aqsa too belongs to the entire Ummah and should
not be seen only as a Palestinian or Jordanian issue
controlled by the Zionists.
Br. Shoaib, a long time supporter of Jamaat al-Muslimeen,
explained the development of Muslim communities and masjids
in UK. The Muslim population, immigrants from Pakistan,
Bangladesh, Africa, etc was basically illiterate and largely
interested in its survival and economic development. Over
the decades there has been movement forward, with young
people enveloped in the British culture but trying to emerge
as Muslims. The treatment of women is almost like that of
women in the east but is changing. There is need to help UK
Muslims in practical ways, not iust talk, he concluded.
Sis. Ashira, who is the administrator of the Jamaat masjid
in Baltimore, talked of her visits to Ethiopia and a masjid
in particular over which Muslims and Christians have fought
for years and which is now in peace, with neither side
winning, and diplomacy, not conflict is in process.
Sis. Nadrat spoke briefly about the mosques in the
DC/Maryland area which have a tradition of supporting the
government, often in a humiliating way that is not allowed
in Islam. They cooperate with oppressors in an ongoing
process.
Sis. Aisha spoke very well about a masjid in New York named
after martyr Malcolm x (al-Hajj Malik Shabazz). This masjid
stayed open in the months of Covid 19 pandemic and provided
food to hundreds of people whom the pandemic has rendered
jobless. When all the churches and other mosques were
closed, this masjid was serving the community big time.
Other nationalist groups, like Bosnians, keep their mosques
closed and open only to their national groups. Sis. Aisha is
very critical of White supremacist ideas which have even
percolated into mosques and churches.
Sis. Khadija brought a message from her husband Abdul Hakeem
Mumin who is imam of the Muslim community in the large
prison system in Jessup, Maryland. He leads several hundred
Muslims, mostly converts, in prayer on juma. The number has
gone down drastically owing to restrictions related to Covid
19.
Imam Mumin is concentrating on young people who are
seriously interested in Islam. He could not speak directly
to the shoora owing to an in incident in the prison.
Sis. Khadija, in addition to her amazing dedication as a
wife and mother and business owner, is doing a great job of
connecting masjid jamaat to the masjid community in
prison.
Br. Abdul Shakur, member of shoora committee of masjid
Jamaat, spoke about the endeavor to keep the masjid open
during the pandemic. It was successful though social
restrictions were implemented.
The brother has found creative ways of raising funds for
this masjid, located in the heart of Baltimore. He also
helps with resources for funerals of people in the city who
cannot afford it.
The shoora meeting ended with a prayer by Br. Salahuddin
urging Muslims to try and bring their mosques up to near the
standards set by the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon
him.
PAKISTAN
These incidents could be serious. Imran khan getting
frustrated.
August 5. In a Jamaat e Islami rally for Kashmir in
Karachi, a grenade was thrown at anti-India protestors. One
person fatally injured, 30 injured. Rally did not break.
Near Eid, on the Afghan Pakistan border, Kabul regime
troops fired with heavy weapons at people who had gathered
to receive gifts from Pakistan. Numerous casualties.
Imran Khan has taken two bold steps regarding India: one
is a map showing all of Kashmir as disputed. New part is
showing Junagarh and Manavader acceding to Pakistan as they
were supposed to do in 1947.
Imran has shown that he is upset that Islamic countries
have failed to show support for Kashmiri rights.
Imran has reached out for friendship with the Dhaka
regime in Bangladesh. (Probably a serious error.)

Kashmir.
Pakistani rulers claim they don't know what is happening
to Chinese Muslims. Large sums of money is passing from
China to Pakistan.

Silence of Black Politicians
By sis. Aisha (Jamaat al-Muslimeen)
New York City - Apparently, the NYPD is undergoing
'Operation Stand-Down' or something similar. Stand-down is a
military term for relax. They have not been making that many
arrests in communities of African-descent. According to the
Community Cop Show panel, this is highly irregular. This is
believed to be NYPD retaliation. This happens often when
there are protests against deaths in police custody. In
July, illegal fireworks were out of control in some
neighborhoods. In Harlem, the streets were littered with
firecracker wrappers. There is a video of people setting off
multiple explosions of fireworks and cherry bombs as a
legion of police officers stood by and watched!
Speaking of police, I have been watching some of the
NBA/WNBA games. The WNBA players are wearing the name of
slain EMT employee Breonna Taylor, who was murdered as she
slept during a police raid. None of the officers have been
charged in her death. However, the same old measures have
been taken: Police firings, legislative changes, a wrongful
death lawsuit, etc. But, so far these officers have avoided
jail time.
No-Knock Warrants are a serious violation of human rights.
This has allowed police officers to just barge into people's
homes without announcing themselves. In Breonna Taylor's
instance, the accused drug-dealing perpetrator lived 10
miles from her residence.
Wearing victims' names on sneakers and jerseys is a great
gesture but that is all it is: A gesture. Since these
professional players have corporate backing, does that mean
these multi-billion dollar leagues will provide the same
amount of lobbying for social justice as they did for
legalizing sports gambling? I believe I know the answer to
that question. Do you?
The silence of Black politicians during these police
misconduct incidents, over the years, as well as now, should
be noted. The American political system is a well-oiled
kuffar machine. The race of these politicos does not even
matter because no one expects them to challenge oppression,
especially White supremacy or Zionism. They love spewing
rhetoric that tugs on the voter's heartstrings.
The "efforts" of so-called White liberals and weak Black
leaders to repair social wrongs with programs such as
affirmative action, busing, and other efforts to
desegregate, still reinforce the fact that White people are
in power and in control of all of the resources. Even the
phrase, "Black Lives Matter" reinforces the fact that White
life has always mattered. Ultimately, if we accept this
power structure, we have to go through the White
Establishment to achieve any level of success in
America.
After segregation laws were struck down in the South,
El-Hajj Malik Shabazz (aka Malcolm X) warned Black Americans
about America's deception. He told Black people that it made
no difference that the Black man could now sit at the same
table as the White man when the White man still had more
food on his plate while the Black man ate scraps. In other
words, the changes had been cosmetic. It is still that way,
now.
Unless the goal of these movements shifts from changing
racist attitudes to changing behaviors then, there will be
no justice.

Why the Wrath of God on Beirut
By Hussain Khan, Tokyo
During Ramadhan thoe Saudis and other Arabs who did not want
to do fasting, used to go to Beirut to avoid fasting and
enjoy free life in that city. Once I went to Beirut in a
flight from Jeddah. All women in the flight were clad in
Burqa in Jeddah. When I came out of the plane at Beirut. I
was surprised to see that no women was clad in Burqa. All of
them were in Western dress with skirts.
My 2nd surprising observation was in a Coffee shop. There
were cabins for the clients. I took coffee in a cabin. When
I got up in the cabin to go out, I was surprized to see in
the other cabin that a man and women were enjoying sex
freely. Cabin walls were so low that the persons in the
adjacent cabin could easily see inside the other cabin what
is going on there. I had never seen such a scene of open
Zina anywhere in the world.
I could therefore understad why such devastating explsion
took place in Beirut that has ruined its economy for the 2nd
time. See the details of this wrath of God in the 2nd column
of Oriya Maqbool Jan.
75th anniversary of atomic bombing
Hiroshima and Nagasaki: 75th anniversary of atomic bombings
It has been 75 years since the US dropped atomic bombs on
the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki on 6 and 9
August, leading to the end of World War Two.
The recorded death tolls are estimates, but it is thought
that about 140,000 of Hiroshima's 350,000 population were
killed in the blast, and that at least 74,000 people died in
Nagasaki.
The nuclear radiation released by the bombs caused thousands
more people to die from radiation sickness in the weeks,
months and years that followed.
Those who survived the bombings are known as "hibakusha".
Survivors faced a horrifying aftermath in the cities,
including psychological trauma.
The bombings brought about an abrupt end to the war in Asia,
with Japan surrendering unconditionally to the Allies on 14
August 1945.
But critics have said that Japan was already on the brink of
surrender.
Following the end of the fighting in Europe on 7 May 1945,
the Allies told Japan to surrender by 28 July, but the
deadline passed without them doing so.
Watch stopped at 8:15
On 6 August 1945 at 08:15 Japanese time, an American B-29
bomber plane dropped an atomic bomb on Hiroshima. It was the
first time an atomic bomb had ever been used in a war.
The Hiroshima bomb contained the equivalent of between
12,000 and 15,000 tons of TNT and devastated an area of 13sq
km (5sq miles). Three days later, the Americans dropped
another atomic bomb on the city of Nagasaki.
Japan surrendered unconditionally on 14 August. The
following day, Japan's Emperor Hirohito was heard on the
radio for the first time ever in a broadcast in which he
blamed the use of "a new and most cruel bomb" for Japan's
unconditional surrender. He added: "Should we continue to
fight, it would not only result in the ultimate collapse and
obliteration of the Japanese nation, but would lead also to
the total extinction of human civilisation."
Massive protests disrupt Times Square celebration of hate
and bigotry
Broad coalition exposes Hindu nationalist front
organizations in the US, and their agenda of normalizing
human rights abuses in India
August 5, 2020
The "Coalition to Stop Genocide in India", a broad coalition
of Indian Americans and US based civil rights organizations
and activists today organized a massive rally at Times
Square, in order to protest the celebration of the
destruction of the Babri Mosque in India. The celebrations
were organized by an entity that calls itself the American
Indian Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), a front for several
Hindu nationalist (a.k.a. Hindutva supremacist)
organizations in the US.
Protesters in large numbers held placards and chanted
slogans to highlight massive human rights abuses in India,
by India's ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led by Prime
Minister Narendra Modi. For some who had gathered to
celebrate the construction of the Ram Temple in India on the
ruins of the Babri Mosque, the protests were a reminder that
normalizing hate and bigotry would not go unchallenged in
the US. The Babri Mosque was demolished by Hindutva
supremacist forces in India in 1992, based on a campaign of
hate, bigotry against the country's Muslim minority and
misinformation about the mosque's origins. This is part of a
larger and sustained campaign of historical revisionism that
Hindutva relies on, in order to advance its virulent
worldview.
The Babri Mosque was demolished by Hindu nationalist
militias as part of a political campaign by the BJP party,
where the leader of the party Advani led a rally to demolish
the mosque. The campaign was accompanied by the killing of
hundreds of Muslims across India, both before and after the
demolition of the mosque.
"Sadly, far-right extremists in both India and the United
States have especially taken to demonizing and denigrating
Muslims. I condemn any attack on an individual or group
because of their faith and stand with my Muslim siblings
here in my district and in India as they fight for dignity
and human rights," said New York City Councilmember Daniel
Dromm. "I also thank all the Hindus and others who have
taken a stand against dog-whistle propaganda cloaked as
cultural celebrations," added Mr. Dromm.
"Islamophobia has escalated to the level of ethnic cleansing
in numerous countries, including India. From lynchings, to
pogroms, to the cultural genocide exemplified by the
establishment of a temple on the site of a demolished
mosque, anti-Muslim bigotry is government policy in India,"
said Mr. Nihad Awad National Executive Director of the
Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR). "The Muslim
world and the international community must unite in
opposition to the far-right Modi government before its
fascist, Nazi-inspired ideology causes further damage to
religious minorities," Mr. Awad added.
Mr. Brad Lander, another New York City councilmember said,
"We all have a responsibility for speaking out against
Islamophobia, whether it comes from our country, or even our
own community." Mr. Lander further added, "As a New Yorker,
and as a progressive Jew, I stand with our Muslim neighbors,
here in NYC and those in Kashmir and throughout India who
are facing nationalist and Islamophobic hatred and
violence."
PROPHET* (ﷺ) SUPPLICATION FOR THE 'UMMAH' IN EVERY
PRAYER*~{ALHAMDULLILAH}
'Verily,There has come to you a Messenger from amongst
yourselves.
It grieves him that you should experience any injury or
difficulty.
He is anxious over you; for the believers,
he is full of pity, kind, and merciful."
{Source~ 'Qur'an'~ Surat At-Tawbah~9 (The Repentance) A #

'A'ishah {Radiallaahu'Anha} narrated....
"Once, when I saw the *PROPHET* (ﷺ) in a good mood I
said to him...
"O Messenger of Allah...supplicate to Allah for me"
so, he said... "O Allah! Forgive 'A'ishah her past and
future sins, what
she has hidden as well as what she has made apparent."
So, I began smiling to the point that my head fell into my
lap out of joy!
PROPHET (ﷺ) said to me 'Does my supplication make you
happy'?
to which I replied:'And how can your supplication not make
me happy'?
*PROPHET* (ﷺ) then said... "By Allah, it is the
supplication that I make
for my 'Ummah' in every Prayer.'

China Uighurs: A video gives a rare glimpse inside internment.
As a model for the massive Chinese online retailer Taobao,
the 31-year-old was well paid to flaunt his good looks in
slick promotional videos for clothing brands. But one video
of Mr Ghappar is different. Instead of a glitzy studio or
fashionable city street, the backdrop is a bare room with
grubby walls and steel mesh on the window. And in place of
the posing, Mr Ghappar sits silently with an anxious
expression on his face.
Holding the camera with his right hand, he reveals his dirty
clothes, his swollen ankles, and a set of handcuffs fixing
his left wrist to the metal frame of the bed - the only
piece of furniture in the room.
The video of Mr Ghappar, along with a number of accompanying
text messages also passed to the BBC, together provide a
chilling and extremely rare first-hand account of China's
highly secure and secretive detention system - sent directly
from the inside.
The material adds to the body of evidence documenting the
impact of China's fight against what it calls the "three
evil forces" of separatism, terrorism, and extremism in the
country's far western region of Xinjiang.
Over the past few years, credible estimates suggest, more
than one million Uighurs and other minorities have been
forced into a network of highly secure camps in Xinjiang
that China has insisted are voluntary schools for
anti-extremism training.
Thousands of children have been separated from their parents
and, recent research shows, women have been forcibly
subjected to methods of birth control.
In addition to the clear allegations of torture and abuse,
Mr Ghappar's account appears to provide evidence that,
despite China's insistence that most re-education camps have
been closed, Uighurs are still being detained in significant
numbers and held without charge.
It also contains new details about the huge psychological
pressure placed on Uighur communities, including a document
he photographed which calls on children as young as 13 to
"repent and surrender".
Israeli Artillery Bombs Agricultural Area in Central Gaza
Israeli occupation's artillery bombed today an agricultural
area and an outpost near the city of Deir el-Balah, in the
central Gaza Strip, with no reports of casualties, according
to the Palestinian news agency WAFA.
Artillery tanks stationed along the Israeli perimeter fence
surrounding the Gaza Strip fired several missiles into the
said area, causing damages but no human casualties.
The Israeli army regularly opens fire on Palestinian
fishermen, shepherds, and farmers along the fence separating
besieged Gaza Strip from Israel, if they approach the
unilaterally declared buffer zone.
Gaza, with a population of 2 million, has been under a
hermetic Israeli siege since 2006, when the Palestinian
group Hamas won the democratic legislative elections in
occupied Palestine. Since then, Israel has carried out
numerous bombing campaigns and several major wars, that
resulted in the death of thousands of people.
SHEIKS WHO RECEIVE 'BULLETS' FOR DEFENDING ISLAMIC MONOTHEISM
By Abdulkabir Oyemomi
Hammering on the tussle between true callers to Islam and
fraudsters in Islamic regalia in Nigeria is premised on the
knowledge that if people are not properly educated on the
subject matter, majority of Muslim ummah will languish in
unworthy servitude and slavery with the belief that they are
seeking good face of Allah.
Many Nigerian Muslims hustling beyond our borders have being
the worst victims of these thieves that parade themselves as
men of God. These unsuspecting people tend to erroneously
take these rogues as intermediaries between them and their
Creator, hence the subterfuge of the former to make them
commit millions of Naira and show them the exit doors out of
the fold of Islam as they are led to Shirk( the unforgivable
sin before Allah). These false clerics domicile here in
Nigeria but prey or many in the USA, UK, France and many
other western countries. These people have all sorts of
abracadabra to cow their victims into their webs of fraud.
Problems ensue when some true scholars came out boldly to
show their evil to people, which fact results in them losing
'customers'.
At the center of this is the renowned Sheik Abdmojeed Imran
Eleha who happens to be a product of Markaz Arabiyah and
Islamiyah, where many of these false clerics ascribe their
knowledge to. It may be wrong to say that Markaz breeds them
to become fraudsters and innovators because a number of
Markaz graduates are on sound Dawwah. Sheik Eleha is being
vehemently verbally attacked by these people because he
warns that people should shun Shirk in any form to avoid
being under the evil spell of the fake Alfas.
Bro Saheed Shittu lives in the UK but his background has to
do with center of Lagos. He used to be one of Lagos hard
guys before submitting to whims of Islam but 'once a soldier
is always a soldier'. Bro Saheed Shittu is the hardest
villain against fake and rogue clerics in Nigeria. He uses
media to attack them and succeeds in making many people free
from the captivities of these clerics. He is no doubt the
biggest headache of these thieves. After failing severally
in their spiritual attacks against him, they devised a way
of putting him behind the bars on the ground of defamation
of character, but Saheed holds sway because he has his facts
and figures. Bro Saheed is however admonished by many good
scholars to be modest in his calling against Ahlul Shirk and
innovators.
Sheiks Abdulghaniy Jumm'ah, Rauf Ballo, Sahid Amza are
perpetual bullets takers in defense of Sunnah and warning
against innovation and innovators.
Our Du'a is for Allah to provide ways of livelihood to these
scammer clerics so that people would be able to divorce
Islam from fraud.
