On March 27, Br. Kaukab Siddique gave the khutba at Masjid
Jamaat al-Muslimeen. Muslims were told not to come into the
masjid if they were not well. Security was in place because
of the growing situation of uncertainty.
The following is an outline of the khutba for distribution
to Muslims throughout America on line.
Text: The Qur'an. Chapter 105.
Seest thou not how thy Lord dealt with the Companions of
the Elephant?
Did He not make their treacherous plan go astray?
And He sent against them flights of Birds
Striking them with stones of baked clay.
Then did He make them like an empty field of stalks and
straw (of which the corn) has been eaten up.
Allah Almighty is the Creator and Sustainer of the
Universe. There is no one more powerful than Allah.
Blessings of Allah be on all the Prophets and Messengers
including Noah, Abraham, Mpses, Jesus and Muhammad who was
the last and the perfection of of Islam.
Muslims have been under oppression and are facing
genocide all over the world. They were like soft targets
facing the heavy and deadly weaponry of their enemies.
China put millions of Muslims in concentration camps.
China humiliated and abused Muslims and tried to destroy
Islam. Even the Qur'an was made illegal. Muslims were not
allowed to fast and were forced to swallow pork. No one came
to their help.
Muslims seemed so helpless. Their countries were
occupied, bombed and destroyed, be it Iraq, Syria,
Afghanistan, Kashmir, Somalia, northern Nigeria, Burma.
Ruthless dictators were imposed on them in Egypt, Saudi,
Iran and Bangladesh, with the support of the superpowers. It
seemed as if Islam itself would be destroyed. Palestine has
been occupied. All of Gaza is like a concentration camp.
Masjid al-Aqsa is desecrated.
The Qur'an gives us the story of the people of the
Elephant. This tyrant, with a powerful army with an elephant
in the forefront was bent on destroying the most sacred
center of Islam, the Kaaba itself. The Arabs, with their
lean camels were no match for the scary power of the
Elephant. It seemed as if the end had come for the very
basis of Islamic sacredness.
Then Allah sent countless little birds. The sky was
covered with them. They dropped tiny little stones on the
army of the oppressors. Coming down from a great height,
these tiny stones came with the power
of little missiles. The army led by the Elephant was wiped
out and looked like a cornfield which had been
harvested.
Part Two.
Now look at our condition. In all the arrogance and power
of the modern world something very TINY is being dropped on
us. It is so tiny that we cannot even see it and there is no
cure for it.
Suddenly a Chinese city of 20 MILLION was closed down.
Suddenly 80,000 Chinese Communists were sick and 3000 were
dead.
Not only was China closed down, all its contacts came
under tremendous blows of this tiny invisible disaster.
Italy had good relations with China and now the whole
country is under quarantine. Iran is miserable and is
begging for sanctions to be removed. Israel has closed down
the whole country, not letting anyone come in. From there it
went to Spain.
None of the arrogant ones are immune. The Prime Minister
of Britain, living without marriage with his pregnant
girfriend is infected. The Prime Minister of Canada 's
familiy is infected.
Hadith of Muhammad, pbuh, helps us to understand the
Qur'an. It says that those who see great wrong being done
and don't try to stop it, they too will be punished. We may
all be punished if we kept quiet, watching the evils of
pornography, the oppression of women, homosexuality, and not
saying a word against it.
Of course we must take all steps so that we do not
infect anyone nor does anyone infect us. Wash your hands,
going and coming. Do not come here or to any gathering if
you are not well. Eat healthy food to improve the immune
system and exercise regularly.
No one has the right to close down a masjid. It is
haram. Muslims are listening to kuffar and not listening to
Allah. Those who want to pray together after precautions,
let them pray. Many mosques have shut themselves down though
there were no instances of infection. Three people die in a
city and the kuffar shut down the whole city.
Remember that we all have to die. There are no
exceptions. No one is immortal. Precautions are good but
fear and panic are not part of Islam.
Help the local businesses. There is no need for America to
collapse. Seek forgiveness and repentance. We must save this
country which has many good people in it.
May Allah forgive our sins and shortcoming and save us from
the punishment of jahannum. Ameen.
PAKISTAN
Molana Nasir Madni:
Islamic Scholar teaching Women's rights and gently
criticizng Imran regime attacked.
On Match 16 a popular Islamic scholar Nasir Madni was
abducted by a gang of ten near the Kharian area. He was
stripped, beaten with sticks and pipes, videotaped naked and
threatened not to complain. He uses humor and the local
language, Punjabi, to teach Islamic rights of women
including inheritance. He emerged strong from the beating
and found out that he has widespread support in the public
though he is not part of any group or organization.
A private TV show interviewed him and soon the news was all
over the country. The regime kept quiet for a week but
under public pressure, the police arrested 6 people
including the suspects. A week later Imran mumbled some
unclear sympathy.
Molana Madni was criticizing sufiism [he is ahle hadith] and
joking about religious big wigs who say, recite so many
kalimas and then blow on those who are sick [even with
Corona.]
Jamaate Islami sent a delegation to show sympathy for
him.

Imams arrested for trying to lead prayers on Friday
March 27: The Pakistani government arrested the Imams of 38
mosques in Karachi, 14 in Hyderabad, and 5 in Punjab to stop
them from leading Friday prayers. However, most mosques all
over the country had prayers on Friday, including a group of
500 people in a major mosque in Karachi. The government is
trying to stop the Covid-19 virus but the people are not
obeying.

Stunning Blow for regine Forces

March 23: Boko Haram/Islamic State fighters attacked Chad
army's on the island of Boma [Lake Chad]. In a seven hour
battle, the Islamic fighters killed 92 Chadian troops.
The losses mounted when the regime sent reinforcements and
they were ambushed by the Islamic fighters. State TV showed
"burnt out armoured cars." President Idriss Deby, talking to
Reuters mourned such a big loss. The fighters captured the
regime's weapons and escaped in speed boats, the regime
military told AFP.
Nigeria: Also the same day, Boko Haram attacked a military
convoy which came from the northeastern city of Maiduguri.
The fighters killed 47 troops and made off with quantities
of ammunition.
SYRIA
Large Iranian and Hezb forces arrive in Western Irbid.
ISIS is resurgent in Eastern Syria says SOHR.
SOHR is reporting the arrival of large Iranian and Hezb/Shia
forces on the Irbid border preparing to attack the capital
city. Turkish forces are also arriving to stop the attacks.
SOHR is reporting that ISIS controls some 3,283 square
kilometers in eastern Syria and is active against both SDF
[supported by the U.S.] and regime forces [supported by
Iran]. The area of ISIS controlled is from northeast of
Palmyra to the desert of Deir ez Zor as well as in the
al-Sukhnah desert.
In the al-Hool refugee camp the women supporting ISIS have
taken over the camp and are organizing support for the
Islamic State. Videos taken by western reporters show even
children supporting ISIS and telling western reporters that
the Islamic State will finally win. The women say that the
death of al-Baghdadi in a U.S. airstrike has not broken
their determination.
In the northwest of Aleppo, Iranian and Assad artilliery has
been in action and was countered on a daily basis by Syrian
fighters supporting Turkey. In the northcentral Syria, in
the Ain Eissa area, Turkish artillery is pounding the
positions of SDF [which is supported by the U.S.].
Reports of attacks on Assad's troops are emerging from an
area west of Damascus and a few even in the Ghouta area east
of Damascus. The city itself is on lockdown due to the
Coronavirus.
The province of Deraa is in open rebellion against the Assad
regime but lacks heavy weapons.
In the province of Suwaida, gangs are fighting each other
leaving 6 people dead and others injured.
Libya
Heavy fighting reported. March 24-29.
Forces supported by Turkey on one side and by UAE on the
other side, are attacking and counter-attacking near and
around the capital city of Tripoli.
Iraq
U.S. withdrawing but not leaving.
The U.S. forces have withdrawn from the Mosul area and bases
in two other areas and have just gone further south into
Iraq.
Reports indicate that the U.S. may be preparing to attack
pro-Iran militia groups which have been firing rockets at
the U.S. bases. In each base, the U.S. is leaving heavy
weapons to be used by the Baghdad regime's Shia forces
against ISIS.

Was it Manufactured as a Weapon?

The only thing we have been told is that the coronavirus
came from Wuhan, China. But, the question is how did it come
into existence there. The Coronavirus Scare has yielded
various theories about it.
One point of view is that it was a Chinese biological weapon.
In a podcast, human rights attorney and anti-biological
weapons activist, Dr. Francis A. Boyle has stated that the
coronavirus is an advanced "man-made" version of SARS
(Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome), which he says is also
"man-made." Wuhan, China, where the first cases of the
coronavirus occurred, was allegedly produced at the Bio
Safety Level 4 (BSL-4) plant there. A source of past SARS
outbreaks, according to Dr. Boyle.
Dr. Boyle drafted the Biological Weapons Anti-Terrorism Act
of 1989, which Pres. Bush Sr signed into law.
Of course, the first known act of biological warfare was the
gifting of small pox infected blankets to Native Americans
by European Settlers in the 18th century. So, the idea of
governments spreading diseases is not new.
If coronavirus is indeed a "man-made" virus then the
worldwide government responses make sense. Many countries
have shut down their borders, completely.
These measures have all been efforts to curb the spread and
the effects of an alleged biological weapon. Or is it?
A Vox.com article (The Conspiracy Theories about the Origins
of the Coronavirus, Debunked) is critical of these
"conspiracy theories" and even states that scientists can
prove that the coronavirus is from nature, not made in a
bio-weapons facility. It warned that such talk leads people
to distrust health experts.
The article suggests that the coronavirus is a natural germ
that may have been transmitted from animals to humans. The
question researchers are searching for is who or what was
the intermediary that caused such a crossover from animal to
human. A Time article (1/22/2020) states that SARS was found
to have originated from civet cats sold at a market in
Guandong, China.
The Huanan Wholesale Seafood Market, which also sold the
meat of wildlife in Wuhan, such as bats and dogs, has since
been closed. The conditions there were very unsanitary, in
spite of passing an inspection in late 2019. Livestock were
housed and slaughtered next to meat already prepared to be
sold to the public.
Researchers are still in Wuhan investigating the role the
wildlife market may have played in humans contracting the
coronavirus. Some blame accuse China of taking too long to
alert the World Health Organization (WHO) of the coronavirus
outbreak.
According to the same Vox.com article, more dangerous
pathogens would be better suited as bio-weapons because
compared to those viruses (i.e. Ebola) the coronavirus is
not as transmissible and has milder symptoms. The world wide
death toll from coronavirus, as of this writing, is around 3
percent. A low number compared to to other disease
outbreaks.
The world governments should observe and follow Singapore's
example for how it handled their SARS cases and now the
coronavirus. They are China's next door neighbor and got the
brunt of the SARS outbreak but were able to contain it to
minimal cases after just four months.
China has banned the wildlife trade. Buying food from local
farmers is being touted as an environmentally-safe way to
operate eateries in the U.S. This is how consumers should
operate world-wide. Sustainable farming and buying food
locally is apart of the Sunnah. Besides incorporating humane
treatment practices, the distance traveled for seafood and
other (halal) meat is shorter, which decreases the risk of
contracting diseases. Plus, the food supply is not exhausted
through exportation.
Muslims can handle this Coronavirus Scare by keeping in mind
that Allah tells us "to be firm and patient, in pain (or
suffering) and adversity, and throughout all periods of
panic. Such are the people of truth, the Allah-fearing. "
(2:177)
Recently, an Imam had to point out that when it is time for
Allah to call us back to Him there is no way to prevent it.
Faith and following the cleaning practices in the Sunnah is
enough for us.

GAZA
Israel is using coronavirus to implement the deal of the
century and Palestinians are trapped between the pandemic
and Israel's brutal military occupation.
The global spread of coronavirus has necessitated movement
restrictions around the world, including in Israel and Palestine.
As the occupying state, Israel controls all entrances to and
exits from the occupied West Bank and Gaza. Last week, it
closed off Palestinian-administered areas under the pretext
of "limiting the spread" of coronavirus. Bethlehem has been
fully locked down for weeks.
It is clear to Palestinians that Israel is taking advantage
of Covid-19, exploiting the West Bank lockdown to accelerate
the annexation of Palestinian land, while allowing Israeli
settlers to attack Palestinian civilians - further
complicating Palestinian efforts to combat the pandemic.
Movement restrictions
The Israeli army is using the pretext of coronavirus to
impose further closures and movement restrictions on
Palestinians. This ought to be a matter of public health,
and the restrictions should apply equally to Israelis, as
anyone can get infected - but the Jewish settlers in the
occupied West Bank, who live just a few hundred metres from
the locked-down Palestinian communities, are not facing the
same restrictions.
Israelis apparently believe they can take advantage of the
current situation to implement the US "deal of the century".
Israel's imposition of restrictions on movement in
bantustan-like Palestinian areas is an early warning of how
things would work if US President Donald Trump's deal were
to be implemented.
For me, as a Palestinian born and raised under the Israeli
occupation, the new ban on movement brings back memories of
the curfews and siege imposed by the Israeli occupation on
the Palestinian territories, especially during the Second
Intifada, under the pretext of security.
During that time, the Israeli army locked down Palestinian
communities and turned our lives into an unbearable
nightmare, subject to severe repression.
In 2002, in my hometown of Qira in the northern West Bank,
my newborn daughter Lina got a viral infection that caused
severe diarrhea and fever for several days - but we couldn't
take her to a hospital or doctor, due to the Israeli-imposed
curfew.
A year later, we discovered that this untreated infection
had caused chronic kidney failure, and a kidney transplant
was needed to save her life. The current restrictions could
similarly cause serious problems for chronically ill
Palestinians, including my daughter.
Collective punishment
So far, more cases of coronavirus have been reported in
Israel than in the West Bank. More than 2,500 cases have
been recorded in Israel, compared with fewer than 100 in the
Palestinian territories. Yet, despite the unprecedented
health crisis and widespread social isolation measures,
Israeli police "have chosen now, of all times, to escalate
their abuse and collective punishment" of Palestinians in
East Jerusalem, according to the human rights group
B'Tselem.
The level of violence perpetrated by Jewish settlers has
simultaneously increased, with reports citing a campaign of
attacks against Palestinian shepherds and farmers. In the
Bethlehem area, where Palestinians live under strict
quarantine, settlers recently uprooted hundreds of trees
belonging to Palestinians.
The Israeli army also recently allowed Jewish settlers into
an archaeological site in the village of Sebastia in the
northern West Bank, despite a Palestinian Authority decision
to close down tourist sites and ban gatherings in an effort
to fight the coronavirus outbreak.
In the meantime, Israel has started building roads for
settlers near my home village south of Nablus - a clear
attempt to define bantustans and ghettos for Palestinians.
The settlers, under the protection of the Israeli occupation
army, do not miss an opportunity to cause more suffering to
the Palestinian people, using various pretexts and excuses.
In Gaza, which has registered just a handful of cases of
coronavirus, there are serious concerns over the capacity of
the healthcare system, which was already in crisis due to
the Israeli-imposed blockade.
Dirty and overcrowded prisons
Israeli authorities recently reported that four Palestinian
prisoners had been infected with coronavirus in an Israeli
prison, after contact with an Israeli investigator who had
Covid-19.
More than 5,000 Palestinians, including women and children,
are currently being held in Israeli prisons, which are
notoriously old, dirty, overcrowded, and lacking in basic
hygiene supplies. If Israel cares about prisoners' safety,
it should release them.
In 1991, during the First Intifada, I was arrested by the
Israeli army at the age of 17. Investigators tortured me for
39 days, using all means of physical and psychological
torture. I witnessed firsthand the solitary confinement
conditions in a very tiny, dirty cell without windows; my
health was neglected.
Palestinians today are trapped and fighting on two fronts:
one against the pandemic, and the other against Israel's
brutal military occupation.
Yet one positive outcome of the recent lockdown is that it
may draw attention to the daily movement restrictions that
are omnipresent in Palestinians' lives, but which most of
the world doesn't care about, or even know to exists.

Hadith of the Week
Abu Huraira, r.a. reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace
and blessings be upon him, said:
When Allah created Paradise and Hellfire, he sent Gabriel to
Paradise saying: Behold it and what I have prepared therein
for its people. Gabriel came and looked at it and what Allah
had prepared therein for its people. He returned to Allah
and he said: By your might, no one will hear of it but that
he will enter it. Allah ordered that it be surrounded by
adversity and he said: Return to it and behold what I have
prepared therein for its people. Gabriel returned and found
that it was surrounded by hardship. He returned to Allah and
he said: By your might, I fear that no one will enter it.
Allah said: Go to the Hellfire and behold it and what I have
prepared therein for its people. Gabriel found that it was
in layers, one above another. He returned to Allah and he
said: By your might, no one who hears of it will enter it.
Allah ordered that it be surrounded by desires and he said:
Return to it. Gabriel returned and he said: By your might, I
fear that no one will escape it.

'No Escapes:' Leaked Memos Reveal China's Manual for Mass
Detention of Uighur Muslims
A new leak of highly classified Chinese government documents
detail China's manual for running mass detention camps
holding hundreds of thousands of Uighur Muslims and other
minorities in the Xinjiang region. The International
Consortium of Investigative Journalists' Bethany
Allen-Ebrahimain, a former national security reporter for
The Daily Beast, obtained the "China Cables." The cables
include a nine-page memo sent out in 2017 by Zhu Hailun,
then deputy-secretary of Xinjiang's Communist Party and the
region's top security official, to those who run the camps.
The memo details a classified list of guidelines, personally
approved by the security official, which say the camps
should be run as high security prisons, with strict
discipline, punishments, and "no escapes." China's U.K.
ambassador, Liu Xiaoming, called the documents "pure
fabrication and fake news."
Other documents from the leak reveal how the Chinese
government uses mass surveillance and a predictive-policing
algorithm that analyzes personal data. One document shows
how the system flagged 1.8 million people simply because
they had a data sharing app, Zapya, on their phone. A memo
also says detainees will only be released from the camps
when they demonstrate they have transformed their beliefs
and language. "Promote the repentance and confession of the
students for them to understand deeply the illegal,
criminal, and dangerous nature of their past activity," the
BBC quotes the memo as saying.

CORONA VIRUS: TAWAKUL MISCONSTRUED!

Even though it is agreed by vast majority of Nigerian
scholars that the outbreak of pandemic of Covid- 19 is a
direct act of Allah, many in their usual deviance to change
have categorized the policy of government about stay at home
heretical, especially the ban of Jumat services in our
central mosques.
Whereas the most prominent scholars in Lagos, where the
highest incidence of Corvid-19 is recorded officially issued
formal notice banning people from coming to mosques, other
believe the noises of stay at home are echoed by scholars
and Ustazhes whose reliances in Allah are low.
Many congregations are being pumped into by security
operatives in Lagos and Ogun States. An Imam and his members
of congregation was arrested in Ikirun in Irepodun local
government area of Osun State, Southwestern Nigeria.
On the other hand, the advocates of stay at home (especially
Muslims speaking for Government) seem to be overdoing things
in this regard. An Imam of House of Assembly Mosque in Lagos
who doubles as a commissioner in Lagos State while warning
that the only way to put a stop to the spread of this deadly
disease is by staying at home went too far by subconsciously
stating that black seed cannot cure Corona Virus, the latter
being a death on its own. Here the Imam goofed and has been
taken up on social media with lines of refutations.
Nigeria has recorded 81 cases of Covid-19 at the time of
compilation of this piece with Lagos in the lead with about
65 people testing positive to the virus.
Nigerian government appears to be biased in enforcing the
law of stay at home, especially against Muslims. Some
prominent churches are allegedly breaking this rule by
holding services with impunity and nothing serious have been
done against them so far, while police are bumping into
mosques to arrest offenders.
Another twist to this outbreak in Nigeria is the bad wishes
of many people hiding under the covers of politics for the
president (Muhammadu Buhari) to test positive. Some are
stupidly accusing him of lie for testing negative while his
Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari tests positive. We have some
southern Christians on social media who displayed their
readiness to jubilate if the president test positive.
Many Muslims here need to be well tutored on the principle
of reliance and trust in Allah because self destruction is
looming with fatalistic ideologies.
It was rumored that Tabligh brothers vowed to hold their
weekly or monthly get- together or usrah at their Lagos
headquarters in Oluti last week,but for the lockdown policy
of Lagos State government.
One would think these people would learn from Malaysian
experience where many Tabligh members were infected.
The writer enjoys all Muslims to seek sincere repentance and
supplicate Allah to put an end to this test
