Hadith of the Week
Narrated Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said:
"If anyone of you sees a dream that he likes, then it is
from Allah, and he should thank Allah for it and narrate it
to others; but if he sees something else, i.e., a dream that
he dislikes, then it is from Satan, and he should seek
refuge with Allah from its evil, and he should not mention
it to anybody, for it will not harm him."
Sahih al-Bukhari 6985
[With thanks to Sis. Kristik}
New Trend of October 28 reached 20560 people through face
book on the Jamaat al-Muslimeen page.
There were more than 1100 "likes."
Among the articles:
Sis. Yasmin's article on hijab of the body parts.
Sis. Nadrat's critique of the Nobel prize given to a
Yazidi woman and the Israeli hand behind it.
Rallies for Kashmir in Pakistan by college students.
Islamic women supporting Islamic State helped defeat an
SDF attack in Deir ez Zor.
Palestinian Friday rallies and evil Israeli action.
November 15.
A senior police officer, Tahir Rawar, Superintendent of
police, was abducted from Islamabad and taken to
Afghanistan. His body has been found in Nangarhar province
[which is the stronghold of Islamic State.[Trump dropped his
biggest bomb, MOAB here.]
How did the killlers get him out of high security capital of
Pakistan all the way to Afghanistan and then killed him so
brutally???
November 4
Maulana Sami ul Haq, a senior Islamic leader and originator
at one time of Taliban, was stabbed to death in his own bed
in Rawalpindi.
A huge funeral prayer was held for him, attended by
thousands because he is much respected.
The government has been completely silent.
His angry family has rejected an attempt at post mortem.
Is there a connection between his murder and the horrifying
murder of top police officer?
November 16
In Quetta a senior ex-police officer has been shot dead by
killers who escaped.
There has been a explosion on a highway bypass in Karachi in
which two young people were killed.
Demolitions.
The government has demolished hundreds of shops in Karachi

Marriage amongst Muslim of South/Western Nigeria
by Kabir Oyemomi
Nigeria can best be described as a multi religious country,
thereby making marriage amongst Muslims difficult to be
perfectly in line with the dictates of Islam. Many Muslim
parents of both the bride and the groom will never allow
tradition eroded on account of understanding of Islam.
In Western Nigeria, which has predominance of Yoruba people,
there is notion that the dowry must be brought to the family
of the bride by the groom family. This is the area where
many young Muslims with understanding of Qur'an and Sunnah
find it difficult to have hitch-free marriage solemnization.
The parents of the groom demand for traditional gift items
which may be seen as against the way of Islam by these young
folks. For instance, when the writer was in his in-law's
house to ask for their daughter's hand in marriage, it was
made known to him that he must come with a hen, 47 tubers of
yam, kolanut, palm oil etc. One wonders why 47 tubers of yam
for example!
Another big thing is that even though we know that Islam
wants the bride to be presented dowry directly, the parents
lay claim to it.
Marriage in some places like Ilorin , which is populated
with mixture of Fulani and Yoruba is the funniest one! In
the family of ,say, 5 daughters, all of them must be seen to
perform marriage rights the same day. It is just that it is
not compulsory that all the brides join their husbands
immediately. Marriage is celebrated for weeks in Ilorin.
There are series of events for the solemnization of
marriage, even though there is hardly connection with this
and Islam.
Traditional marriage and Islamic marriage can hardly be
distinguished, except in a scenario where both the families
of the groom and bride have completely been guided by
Islamic rules ( that is difficult to find). Those that will
leave wholeheartedly by the rules of Islam in Nigeria won't
bother to be called with all sorts of derogatory names.
Khutba
Latest Khutba
Structures and Buildings become holy when People have faith
and accept their Creator.
The Kaaba itself was filled with 360 Idols before Conquest
of Makka.
Do not Despair because of the criminals ruling Arabia.
What do we learn from the Destruction of "Paradise" city by
fire storm.
On November 16, at Masjid Jamaat al-Muslimeen, Juma' khutba
was given by Br. Kaukab Siddique. He pointed out that this
masjid is open to all schools of Islamic thought which
accept finality of prophethood. The masjid is security
oriented and respects women.
All day rain and ice the previous day had made it necessary
to clean up the area, but the community responded well and
the Juma' went as usual.
Here is an outline of the khutba.
Text:
"But when they saw the (garden), they said: "We have
surely lost our way." [The Quran 68:26]
Text #2:
The Prophet, pbuh, entered Mecca and (at that time) there
were three hundred and sixty idols around the Ka'ba. He
started stabbing the idols with a stick he had in his hand
and reciting: "Truth (Islam) has come and Falsehood
(disbelief) has vanished."
[Sahih Al-Bukhari - 3.658 Narrated by Abdullah ibn Masud,
r.a.]
Faith [iman] is an internal condition, For the Prophet,
pbuh, the entire world had been made a place of worship and
prostration to Allah, as we know from hadith.
Structures and buildings become sacred according to the
faith and spiritual devotion we put into them.
Kaaba was built by Ibrahim, pbuh, and Ismail, pbuh with
faith and prayers to Allah but it was in later generations
desecrated by idol worshippers. In fact the unbelievers put
360 idols there.
The Prophet, pbuh, symbolically rejected the idols and
told Bilal, Ali and Khalid, may Allah bless them, to smash
the idols.
So, the holiest structure can be desecrated by evil
people. That is exactly what is happening in Arabia.
Criminals are now the rulers of Arabia and have named the
holy land after their family.
As the Islamic movement rises, all these idols will be
smashed, inshaAllah.
Part 2
Look at the horrible suffering of people in California
and southern Florida.
The entire city of Paradise has been incinerated. By now
63 bodies have been found but large numbers are missing.
I would not wish this on my worst enemies. People burning
alive! It is difficult even to imagine.
Then in deep southern Florida, another city has been
devastated. Usually storms slow down when they hit land but
this one kept going at 150 miles an hour.
This is not punishment from Allah otherwise nothing
would be left, Looks like some of the angels are warning
America.
Look at the norms of America today: liquor, gambling,
drugs, adultery fornication, homosexuality, open ended
support for Israel, bombing of Muslim countries, support for
brutal dictators...
Look at how prisoners are treated here, dehumanization,
cavity searches, justice based on expensive attorneys. Look
at what they have done to Aafia Siddiqui, Imam Jamil and
many others. The hidden genocide of the poor and the Black,
the
"slavery" of half naked women go on. Not one execution for
rape in a hundred years......
du'a: O Allah forgive our sins and shortcomings. Help us to
study the Qur'an and hadith. Give us unity on authentic
Islam.
PAKISTAN
MILLION MAN MARCH.
Unprecedented Crowds Rally to Oppose Blasphemy and
protectors of Blasphemer.
LAHORE, Nov. 15: Addressing a charged Tahafuz e Namoos e
Risalat Million march close to the Punjab Assembly champers,
the Mutahida Majlis e Amal (MMA) President Maulana Fazlur
Rehman, said on Thursday, that the world colonialism and the
rulers could not pull out the love of the holy Prophet(
pbuh) from the hearts of the Muslims.
He said that the Supreme Court order for Aasia Masih's
release was based on technical grounds and aimed at pleasing
the western world. He said that was why the European Union
and the British parliament had paid tributes to the Chief
Justice of Pakistan and the lobby behind the profane
caricatures was also happy. He said that the bogus ruler of
the country was standing with the west and the Zionists as
had been predicted by him long ago. He remarked that the
party staging mixed dances on roads could not be expected to
build a Madina state.
The million march was addressed by acting Ameer of the
Jamaat e Islami, Hafiz Muhammad Idrees, Hafiz Sajid Mir,
Ibtisam Elahi Zaheer, Maulana Allah Wasaya, Maulana Ameer
Hamza, Rana Shafiq Pasoori and others
The MMA president said that PTI legislators in their TV
programmes, were suggesting recognition of Israel. He said
that if Pakistan recognized Israel, it would have to back
out from its stance of Kashmir. He however said that the
Pakistani people stood by the Kashmiri and Palestinian
Muslims.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that the PTI government was
trying to alter the Islamic provisions of the constitution
and the Blasphemy Law. He said that the Madrissahs were
being targeted. However, he declared that the religious
parties would protect the madrissahs.
Acting Ameer of the Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Hafiz
Muhammad Idrees, in his address, said that Chief Justice
Saqib Nisar and other members of the judiciary should keep
in mind that on the Day of Judgment, they would get
redemption only through the intercession of the Holy
Prophet. He said, if the member of the judiciary continued
to tolerate the profanity of the holy Prophet, how could
they earn the holy Prophet's intercession.
Markazi Jamait e Ahle Hadith president Hafiz Sajid Mir, in
his address to the million march, noted that safeguarding
the Namoos of the Holy Prophet was not the issue of any
particular Islamic sect or any region and the respect of the
holy Prophet was dearer to every Muslim than his life. He
advised the rulers not to pick up a war with the Islam
lovers.
JI deputy chief Dr Farid Ahmed Piracha, in his address, said
that those dreaming of making Pakistan a secular and liberal
state would not materialize. He said the movement for the
enforcement of the Nizam e Mustafa was the continuation of
the Pakistan movement.
MMA Information Secretary Shah Awais Noorani, said that the
Prime Minister wanted to make them afraid with his threats.
He warned that if the rulers dared to cast an evil eye on
the mosques, madrissahs and the shrines, the government
won't be allowed to function.
Sheikh ul Quran, Maulana Abdul Ma'lik, said that
safeguarding the Namoos of the holy Prophet was the duty of
each and every Muslim and whoever was not ready to lay down
his life for the respect of the holy prophet could not be a
called a true believer.
Ahle Hadith leader Hafiz Ibtisam Elahi Zaheer said that if
someone dared to allow Aasia Masih to leave the country, the
holy Prophet's slaves won't allow him to escape. He said
that Chief Justice Saqib Nisar could not tolerate the insult
of the courts but he had made haste in releasing the women
guilty of blasphemy.
MMA Punjab chief Mian Maqsood Ahmed said it was the test of
the Prime Minister and the Chief Justice and it was to be
seen what they would do to safeguard the Namoos of the Holy
Prophet.

Yemen: A Complex Tragedy.
Genocide in Syria & Iraq being Covered up.
New Trend Research
A United Nations report has declared that the situation in
Yemen has reached catastrophic proportions.
The economy of Yemen is fragile and is about to collapse.
Over three years, nearly 10,000 people have died in Yemen.
Of these, about 6500 are civilians. Skeletal photos of
children are being posted on social media.
Analysis is important so that propaganda does not prevail.
Here are the facts:
Most of Yemen, including the capital Sana'a, is under
firm control of Houthis who are moderate Shias but are
supported by Iran through Hizbullah of Lebanon. Tragedy and
suffering on any big scale cannot happen in Yemen without
the involvement of the Houthis.
South eastern Yemen, a rugged, desert territory is
largely controlled by Al-Qaida's Yemen branch. The US
air force has been active for more than five years. Readers
might recall that American citizen Anwar al-Awlaki, a US
citizen who criticized US policies, was killed in a US air
strike. Later his son and many other Islamic "militants"
were also killed in ongoing US air strikes in the area.
The "government " which was overthrown by the Houthis is
clinging on to the western southwestern coast line of Yemen.
Saudi Arabia and UAE decided to re-instate this government
and have gradually advanced into the hinterland, The latest
Saudi advance has been at the port of Hodeida. The Saudis
have captured the port but are hesitant about advancing into
the thickly populated city because large scale casualties
may occur.
The Saudi air force is bombing the Houthis and in the
process has killed scores of civilians. The Saudi air raids
lack precision or the Saudi pilots are not good at handling
sophisticated jets provided by the US.
In one attack they killed a bus load of children.
The western media see a situation in Yemen which can be used
to squeeze and defame the Saudi regime which is no worse
than the regime of General Sissi in Egypt. The brutal murder
of Khashoggi, probably initiated by the Crown Prince of
Saudi Arabia, has uncovered the immoral and ruthless habits
of the regime.. The murder has opened up the gates of
propaganda against the Saudis.
The horror caused by the murder also helps Iran to remove
from the public eye the genocide committed by Assad in
particular and the Shias in general in Syria and Iraq. In
Syria, Iran and Russia devastated eastern Aleppo and the
towns of the Ghouta around Demascus. America, with tacit
acceptance from Russia, destroyed the IS city of Raqqa.
In Iraq, the Shia/Iran and
American-British-French-Australian bombing and shelling in
tandem destroyed the city of Mosul with 40,000 civilians
killed [as reported by the independent] and more than a
million civilians made homeless. [Not included here are the
5,000 or more IS fighters killed in action.]
Iraq is not mentioned in the news at all with hardly any
reporting on Mosul. Scores of women who supported IS have
been executed.
In Syria, the Assad regime's prisons have killed 65,000
unarmed opponents of Assad, including 10,000 and more women
and several thousand CHILDREN.
[In Syria, the US air force targeted women and children
related to IS who fled Raqqa and killed them in Mayadeine,
Deir ez Zor province.]
Now in Yemen, pictures of children who are only skin and
bones and hardly alive, are being publicized. We are not
told who took these pictures, where and when.
Readers may remember that similar pictures used to come out
of Somalia till the "Black Hawk" down incident.
After that people realized that Somalis are not helpless
people begging for food. More than half of Somalia is now
under control of al-Shabab.
Syria
Iranians Surprised. Assad loss in northern Hama. IS on both
sides of the Euphrates? Massacre from the air.
[Latest: A column of vehicles carrying troops from UAE were
seen joining the SDF Kurds who are facing stiff resistance
from Islamic State fighters in the Hajin area on the eastern
bank of the Euphrates.]
November 18. Iranian forces are facing a serious setback
owing to a ferocious attack by Islamic State fighters on the
west bank of the Euphrates river. Iranians fighting for
Assad softened up the IS position by shelling them for three days.
So on the fourth day, the IS attack forced the Iranians to
retreat.
Till now IS was seen only on the east bank of the Euphrates
where the US air force is bombing them.
November 17: Massacre on the east bank of the Euphrates
river. According to SOHR, US air force and its coalition
aircraft bombed a village known as Abu al-Hasan supporting
the Islamic State. Specifically 43 civilians were killed
living in the vicinity of the mosque. Those killed by the
air force include 17 children, 12 women, 7 youths and 7
others suspected of being IS fighters.{USA is denying it
killed civilians,]
The next day, November 18, IS counterattacked SDF Kurds who
were advancing under cover of the US air force. Heavy
fighting brought both sides to a stand still.
November 18. In the Syrian north, the town of Afrin which
was captured by FSA supporting Turkey is witnessing clashes
with fringe groups which have been creating lawlessness in
the city. Looks like Turkey decided to crack down to stop
the rogue behavior. Roads are blocked and heavy gunfire is
reported between the FSA groups and the lawless groups.
Curfew has been imposed on Afrin.
Northern Hama:
November 16. A mujahideen group [known as protectors of the
believers] attacked Assad's Shia forces in northwestern Hama
provinces, in an area known as Sahl al-Ghab. Twenty two of
Assad's troops were killed. This is the biggest loss for
Assad in more than a month. It's not clear whether those
killed were Iranians or Hizb Shia from Lebanon.
November 17. In northern Latakia mujahideen groups are
exchanging machine gun fire with Assad's Shia militias.
Assad's artillery is shelling areas held by Islamic groups
west of Aleppo city.
News Within the U.S.
Imam Musa Attacked.
Sabiqun movement has reported that
Imam Musa, the famous imam in Washington DC, was attacked
and beaten while he was reading the Qur'an in the
mosque.
Some of the blows fell on his head and so much blood flowed
that he needed medical attention. He is in good health, so
he survived.
Imam Musa is famous for his critique of Zionism and
imperialism.
[Br. Kaukab Siddique spoke to Imam Musa and assured him of
his support. Alhamdulillah the imam is doing well and is in
quick recovery.]
The attack was carried out by "insiders." Police seems to be
ignoring the crime.
16 Years of Corruption in Dartmouth College Uncovered.
[It's ranked among top 20 colleges.]
[Source BBC, November 16]
Dartmouth College is facing a $70m (£54m) lawsuit from six
women who claim the school ignored 16 years of sexual
harassment by three ex-professors.
They allege the Ivy League school allowed the tenured
psychology professors to harass, discriminate against and
rape female students.
The federal lawsuit, filed on Thursday, names Dartmouth
trustees as defendants, not the former professors.
The college denies the claims and will respond in court, a
spokesman says.
What are the allegations?
The lawsuit says the elite school turned a blind eye to "bad
behaviour by these professors for more than 16 years",
having received many complaints about Professors Todd
Heatherton, William Kelley and Paul Whalen.
The six named women, and a seventh Jane Doe, allege the
professors had a clear bias towards hiring attractive young
women to work in their labs and treated female students as
"sex objects".
The three "predatory club" professors held meetings in bars,
invited students to hot-tub parties, sent lewd photographs,
groped and assaulted women, the plaintiffs say.
When students spurned their advances or refused to
participate in their "party culture", they were threatened
with academic consequences, the lawsuit claims.
University to pay $215m over abuse claims
'MeToo' and the scale of sexual abuse
Prof Heatherton has apologised for behaviour that he said
could have been taken the wrong way. His lawyer, Julie
Moore, said in a statement emailed to the BBC that incidents
involving him have been "grossly mischaracterised".
Prof Heatherton "categorically denies playing any role in
creating a toxic environment" and "is disturbed by the
graphic allegations", according to his lawyer.
He says that he never socialised or had sexual relations
with students, and also says he wasn't aware of the alleged
behaviour of the other two nor would have he have condoned
it.
Prof Whalen and Prof Kelley could not be immediately reached
for comment.
Plaintiff Kristina Rapuano alleges Prof Kelley forced her to
drink heavily with him while at a conference and raped her -
and then began denying her academic guidance if she rebuffed
his sexual advances.
Another plaintiff, Vassiki Chauhan, alleges similar
behaviour from Prof Whalen, saying he pressured her into
drinking with him and then forced himself on her.
The lawsuit also describes an unnamed student who reported
Prof Heatherton for groping her, only to be told by the
department chair to not "make a fuss". Prof Heatherton
received a promotion shortly after.
What's the background?
In April 2017, a group of female graduate students reported
the professors' behaviour to Dartmouth's Title IX office -
an office meant to handle gender discrimination in
accordance with US Department of Education rules.
But, the lawsuit alleges, the college then took steps to
silence the 27 complainants, including expulsion, handing
out unwarranted failing grades and publicly denouncing the
victims.
It also claims Dartmouth took no action against the
professors until last October, when the Title IX
investigation was leaked to US media, resulting in the New
Hampshire Attorney General opening a criminal investigation
as well.
The college then hired outside counsel to independently
investigate the matter, but that investigation was stopped
this July, when Prof Heatherton and Prof Kelley retired and
Prof Whalen resigned, according to the campus newspaper.

'As-Salaam Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuhu'
*Allah is the Light of the Heavens and the Earth*
The Parable of His Light is as if there were a Niche and
within it a Lamp, the Lamp enclosed in Glass, the glass
shining like a radiant Star, lit from a blessed tree an
olive tree neither of the East nor of the West whose oil
would almost give light (of itself) even though it had not
been touched by fire.

This Light, which HE has placed in the heart, love, faith
and the remembrance of God. It is the light that He has sent
down to His servants,
by which He gives them life, and by which they walk among
people. Its origin is in their hearts, but then HE
strengthens and increases it until it appears upon their
faces, limbs, bodies, even their clothes and dwellings.
people of this nature perceive it~ while others deny it

On the Day of Judgement, however, it will come forth by

proportion to either its strength or its weakness in their
hearts during their life in the world.
