Narrated 'Aisha, r.a.,: (the mother of the faithful
believers) The commencement of the Divine Inspiration to
Allah's Apostle was in the form of good dreams which came
true like bright day light, and then the love of seclusion
was bestowed upon him. He used to go in seclusion in the
cave of Hira where he used to worship (Allah alone)
continuously for many days before his desire to see his
family. He used to take with him the journey food for the
stay and then come back to (his wife) Khadija to take his
food like-wise again till suddenly the Truth descended upon
him while he was in the cave of Hira. The angel came to him
and asked him to read. The Prophet replied, "I do not know
how to read. The Prophet added, "The angel caught me
(forcefully) and pressed me so hard that I could not bear it
any more. He then released me and again asked me to read and
I replied, 'I do not know how to read.' Thereupon he caught
me again and pressed me a second time till I could not bear
it any more. He then released me and again asked me to read
but again I replied, 'I do not know how to read (or what
shall I read)?' Thereupon he caught me for the third time
and pressed me, and then released me and said, 'Read in the
name of your Lord, who has created (all that exists) has
created man from a clot. Read! And your Lord is the Most
Generous." (96.1, 96.2, 96.3) Then Allah's Apostle returned
with the Inspiration and with his heart beating severely.
Then he went to Khadija bint Khuwailid and said, "Cover me!
Cover me!" They covered him till his fear was over and after
that he told her everything that had happened and said, "I
fear that something may happen to me." Khadija replied,
"Never! By Allah, Allah will never disgrace you. You keep
good relations with your Kith and kin, help the poor and the
destitute, serve your guests generously and assist the
deserving calamity-afflicted ones." Khadija then accompanied
him to her cousin Waraqa bin Naufal bin Asad bin 'Abdul
'Uzza, who, during the PreIslamic Period became a Christian
and used to write the writing with Hebrew letters. He would
write from the Gospel in Hebrew as much as Allah wished him
to write. He was an old man and had lost his eyesight.
Khadija said to Waraqa, "Listen to the story of your nephew,
O my cousin!" Waraqa asked, "O my nephew! What have you
seen?" Allah's Apostle described whatever he had seen.
Waraqa said, "This is the same one who keeps the secrets
(angel Gabriel) whom Allah had sent to Moses. I wish I were
young and could live up to the time when your people would
turn you out." Allah's Apostle asked, "Will they drive me
out?" Waraqa replied in the affirmative and said, "Anyone
(man) who came with something similar to what you have
brought was treated with hostility; and if I should remain
alive till the day when you will be turned out then I would
support you strongly." But after a few days Waraqa died and
the Divine Inspiration was also paused for a while. Narrated
Jabir bin 'Abdullah Al-Ansari while talking about the period
of pause in revelation reporting the speech of the Prophet
"While I was walking, all of a sudden I heard a voice from
the sky. I looked up and saw the same angel who had visited
me at the cave of Hira' sitting on a chair between the sky
and the earth. I got afraid of him and came back home and
said, 'Wrap me (in blankets).' And then Allah revealed the
following Holy Verses (of Quran): 'O you (i.e. Muhammad)!
wrapped up in garments!' Arise and warn (the people against
Allah's Punishment),... up to 'and desert the idols.'
(74.1-5) After this the revelation started coming strongly,
frequently and regularly."
Comment by Kaukab Siddique: Notice the importance of women
here. The original revelation was narrated to Khadija, r.a.,
by the Prophet, pbuh, who encouraged and advised him. Later
in life he narrated it to Aisha, r.a.,, who narrated this
hadith and it reached millions. Note the friendly role of a
Christian. Also that a message of truth is always opposed by
the existing power structure.

Executions of JI Bangladesh leaders condemnable

LAHORE, Sep. 3; Ameer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Senator
Sirajul Haq, has said that the executions of innocent
patriotic citizens in Bangladesh was the murder of the
entire humanity.
In a statement here on Saturday, he said that the world
community had not accepted the trial proceedings of JI
central leader Mir Qasim Ali and if the Pakistan government
took up the issue at the world level, the executions of JI
leaders in Bangladesh could be stopped even now. However, he
warned that if Islamabad remained unmoved, it would have to
pay a heavy price for that.
Sirajul Haq said that the Hasina Wajid was totally under New
Delhi's control while India wanted to eliminate the
patriotic elements from Bangladesh before India's armed
invasion there.
He said the world had not given any importance to the
reports and statement of the Amnesty International, Human
Rights Watch and fifty members of the EU parliament because
those being executed were Muslims. However, he said the
situation could change if the Muslim governments and the
people of the Muslim countries exerted their pressure on
India and Bangladesh in this respect.

The Founder of Makka was an African Woman.
We must save American women from Oppression.
On September 2, Br. Kaukab Siddique gave the juma khutba at
masjid Jamaat al-Muslimeein in central Baltimore. Owing to a
violent crime in the nearby community, police blocked all
the neighboring streets after the khutba began; thus the
late comers to the khutba could not make it. After the
prayers, it took a long time to leave the area owing to
traffic jams.
Here is an outline of Br. Kaukab's khutba,

"Behold! Safa and Marwa are among the Symbols of
Allah...." [The Qur'an 2:158]
" ....She climbed mount Safa and strained to look. Seeing
nobody, she came down and started running and climbed mount
Marwa, ....thus she did seven times [while her child lay
dying}: Suddenly [the archangel] Gabriel appeared and struck
the ground with his heel, or pressed the ground with his
heel, and water gushed forth...Ismail's mother was amazed...

As the pilgrims approach Makka for the Hajj, let us
consider an often forgotten fact.
Ibrahim [Abraham] pbuh was commanded by Allah to leave
his second wife Hajira [called Hagar by non-Muslims] and her
baby, Ismail, in the desert of Arabia where Makka is now
located.
People wonder why the hills of Safa and Marwa in Makka
are praised so highly in the Qur'an. The answer is in
authentic hadith.
When her food and water ran out in the hot desert and her
baby lay dying, her faith in Allah surged and she did her
best to find a solution to the situation.. This is the
finest example of TAWAKKUL or dependence on Allah when there
is a seemingly hopeless situation.
The archangel Jibreel [Gabriel] gave Hajira, r.a., the
greatest living miracle, second only to the Qur'an, the well
of Zum Zum, which not only still exists but has slaked the
thirst of pilgrims over 3,000 years.
A passing caravan, amazed at seeing birds in the desert,
arrived at where Hajira, r.a., and her baby were located.
They SOUGHT HER PERMISSION to let some of them stay at the
place of the miracle. That's how the city of Makka was
founded with the permission of Hajira, r.a.
The lessons we learn are: depend on Allah's help even in
the worst circumstances, strive with all our energy and
ability, and learn that a woman can win great distinction
without the help of a man.
Islam teaches us to honor and respect women, not only
Hajira and Maryam but also Khadija, Ayesha, Sumayya, Umm
Ammara, Umm Waraqa, Ruqayya, Fatima and many others, may
Allah bless them all.
We have a duty to help the women of America get out of
the conditions of oppression now commonplace from coast to
coast.
More than 4,000,000 women are battered in America . Rape
is so common in this country that it is hardly news.
The latest is from Stanford University, a top level
American university. A man who raped a young woman was given
only SIX MONTHS in prison. Then, believe it or not, the
judge reconsidered and reduced the sentence to 3 months. The
judge said that because the girl was unconscious when she
was raped, it was not as serious as it would have been if
she were conscious!
In Saudi Arabia and Iran, rapists are executed after
proper investigation, because in spite of all their
problems, they do have Sharia there. When will Pakistan
start studying hadith and learn that the punishment for
rape, after investigation, is death.
Try to understand why the US, British and French media
are constantly claiming that Islam degrades women and are
picking on isolated crimes against women by Muslims. . The
western powers know that if women in the West know the honor
and respect Islam gives to women, they would embrace Islam
by the millions. Already women are coming into Islam in
spite of the smear campaigns against Islam.
Du'a: May Allah give us spouses and children who will stand
with us during the struggle for Islam.

Hajj and Eid al-Adha are Separate Events. Prophet, Pbuh,,

Eid al-Adha and its connection with Hajj [from of the
archives of Islamic Center of Leicester]
The relationship between Eid al-Adha and Hajj is a hotly
debated issue among Muslims all over the world. A small
minority of Muslims argue that Eid al-Adha must be
celebrated a day after the Wuquf (stay) in Arafa in an
attempt to centralise Islam and dictate the Islamic calendar
from Makka. The majority argue that Eid al-Adha is not
linked to the Day of Arafa or the rituals of Hajj but is a
separate Islamic event. Therefore Eid al-Adha must be
observed in accordance with local moon sighting.
Here is the simple evidence to support the majority view of
the Ahl al-Sunna:
When Eid al-Adha and Hajj were initiated.
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)
initiated the two Eids after observing that the inhabitants
of Madina celebrated their two local festivals. He
introduced the two Eids as the alternative Islamic
festivals. The Hadith recorded by Abu Dawud reports:
Anas ibn Malik reports that the Prophet (peace and blessings
of Allah be upon him)came to Madina and saw they had two
days of festivity. He asked, 'What are these two days?' They
said, 'We used to celebrate these days in Jahiliyya. The
Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said,
'Allah has replaced them with better two days: the day of
Fitr and the day of Adha.
There are some reports that the Prophet (peace and blessings
of Allah be upon him) offered the first Eid prayer at Madina
in the first year of Migration. The more authentic and
widely accepted report, on the other hand, indicates that
the first Eid prayer was observed in the second year of the
Hijra.
Hajj, on the other hand, was made obligatory in the ninth
year of Hijra. The Prophet sent Abu Bakr (may Allah be
pleased with him) as the head of the Hajj convoy in this
year . If Wuquf of Arafa (Hajj) and Eid al-Adha were so
closely intertwined then they would have been ordained by
Allah and the Prophet simultaneously.
Hajj Date Confirmation
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)
connected Eid al-Fitr with the completion of the month of
Ramadan, namely the first day of Shawwal. Eid al-Adha was
connected with the tenth of Zul-Hajj. There is no report
that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)
ever tried to find out the day of Hajj or Arafa during his
stay in Madina in an effort to make Eid al-Adha coincide
with day of Arafa or Hajj.
During the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah
be upon him) it was possible to travel between Makka and
Madina with ease within ten days. The Prophet (peace and
blessings of Allah be upon him) never dispatched anybody to
find out exactly when was the day of Arafa so as to connect
the Eid with Arafa. It was quite possible for him to find
out when the Moon of Zul-Hajj was sighted in Makka as the
Hajj was performed on the 10th of Zul-Hajj. Ten days were
sufficient to establish the exact sighting date in Makka.
This historical fact proves that the day of Arafa is not
directly connected with Eid al-Adha. Eid al-Adha is
connected with the 10th of Zul-Hajj and not with the
observance of Hajj.
After Hajj became obligatory.
Even after the Hajj was made obligatory, Eid al-Adha
remained an independent institution. There is no report that
the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) made
any conscious effort to find out the Day of Arafa or to
correlate Eid al-Adha with the Day of Hajj or 10th of
Zul-Hajj in Makka. Had it been a significant religious issue
to link the Adha with Hajj then the Prophet (peace and
blessings of Allah be upon him) would have made efforts to
search for the Day of Arafa in Makka. Instead he went with
the local sighting of Madina.
Practice of Muslims since the Prophet's (peace and
blessings of Allah be upon him) time
The Muslim Ummah for the last fourteen centuries has been
following this tradition of separating the Eid al-Adha from
Hajj. History tells us that no Caliph or scholar has ever
tried to search for the Day of Arafa in Makka and connect
Eid al-Adha with it. Actually doing so would have been an
unsurpassable challenge as Islam is spread across the world
and it would have caused undue hardships for the Ummah. That
is why the classical jurists have not worried about this
issue at all. They seem to be content with the local moon
sighting and connecting Eid al-Adha with the locally agreed
upon tenth of Zul-Hajj, rather than Makkan tenth of
Zul-Hajj.
Differences between those performing Hajj and those who
are not.
The scholars of Islamic Fiqh have clearly established a
distinction between the rules and rituals of the Hujjaj
(pilgrims) and rules and rituals for the non-Hujjaj.
For instance Mina is actually classed as part of Makka and
falls within its city limit. As such Eid al-Adha is Wajib
(incumbent) upon all those in Mina and yet no Hujjaj who is
present in Mina on the tenth of Zul-Hajj offers the Salah of
Eid-ul-Adha. If Eid al-Adha was the celebration of Hajj and
was so closely linked then one would expect the actual
people who have performed this spiritual journey to offer
the Salah of Eid-ul-Adha - but they do not.
Furthermore, the sacrifice of Eid-ul-Adha is Wajib
(incumbent) upon all those who posses enough wealth to
satisfy the least condition of Nisab. However, such a
sacrifice is not required by the Hujjaj in Mina according to
most Fuqaha (jurists). The sacrifice made by the Hujjaj is
not the result of them being Sahib al-Nisab but rather by
them combining Umrah with Hajj in the Hajj of Tamattu or
Qiran. If the Umrah is not combined with Hajj, then even
this sacrifice is not required.
Conclusion
Hajj is the key pillar of Islam and an event of great power
and spirituality but this is for the Hujjaj (pilgrims) who
are actually performing the Hajj in Makka and the
surrounding areas. It is clear that no attempt was been made
to directly intertwine Hajj and Eid al-Adha in Islamic
history. Eid al-Adha should be marked on the locally agreed
upon 10th of Zul-Hajj rather than Makkan 10th of
Zul-Hajj.

behaviors and habits.
Teach your child common sense, standards, and address right
from wrong when they are young. You will have a far easier
time when they are teenager.
The positive behaviors that a teenager learns as a child,
will be the foundation for behaviors for the rest of their
lives.
The foundation or basis for the relationship between a
teenager and parents are laid during the child's earliest
years.
Train them, coach them and set limits for them.
Consequences alone are not enough to discipline children
effectively.
You cannot punish children into better behavior, expecting
them to be behaved.

ISIS Defense of Sirte Inflicting Heavy Losses on pro-West
Forces. More than 300 killed 3000 wounded among attacking
forces backed by US Air Force.
July 31 to September 4: Every week western sources issue
statements claiming that the pro-west military and militias
have captured most of Sirte and are about to capture
districts three and one.
Then the casualty figures come out. The pro-west forces are
being slaughtered by the ISIS mujahideen although ISIS is
only using snipers and a few truck bombs. The snipers seem
to be well trained.
The US air force joined the fighting three weeks back and
has been bombing the Islamic State fighters every day with
the result that IS cannot win. There are also reports that
some IS groups have left Sirte and joined forces with
remnants of Gaddafi loyalists in the desert.

Aleppo crumbling under Daily bombing
From August 30 to September 3, Islamic fighters of Jund
al-Aqsa, Al-Nasr and other FSA groups outflanked regime
forces west of Hama. The mujahideen captured village after
village and reached within 11 km from Hama. The
Alawite-Shi'ite fighters fled in panic at this unexpected
advance. Heavy Alawite losses including a veteran Brigadier
General killed. Russian air strikes stopped the
offensive.
Around Damascus suburbs, the regime is trying to force
opposition populations, entire populations, to leave through
indiscriminate bombing, barrel bombs and long range
shelling. Food, water and electricity is largely cut off. It
worked in Darayya from where everyone left. Its now being
tried on other suburbs. Assad does not mind that the cities
are smashed and empty
as long as they are under his control. Shias cannot fight
their way in but wants to make everyone leave for Idlib
province which is under Islamic rule [al-Nusra and
others].
Hizbullah is again advancing on Aleppo and has reached the
supply route from where food for the population can be hit
by artillery and cut off. Mujahideen are preparing a
counterattack.
Turkey, after helping FSA to capture Jarabulus has sent in
20 more tanks with another FSA column to attack from south
west of Jarabulus against IS.
Turkish tanks are remaining in Kobane and are receiving
construction machines despite Kurdish protests.
Islamic State is fighting Alawite troops in the desert west
of Homs.
IS has also inflcted losses on Communist Kurds northwest of
Aleppo. Kurds had two sets of funerals for their troops, 15
and 10.
In Bokamal, extreme southeast Syria, IS executed 5 spies who
were helping uS air force in targeting.
US air strikes against IS are proving deadly,. In one
strike, Mohammad al-Adnani was killed, top leader and voice
of IS second only to al-Baghdadi.
Kurds are carving out a secular "state" of their own from
Qamishli down.to Hasakeh and Kobani but are facing Turkish
advances.
IRAQ
American bombing continues but no success against IS on the
ground. A British expert was killed in a bomb explosion in
Ramadi. Kurds have not been able to advance against IS for 2
weeks.
In the south IS attacked near Karbala and north of Baghdad.
The Baghdad regime admitted on September 4 that Shi'ite have
destroyed a Sunni village near Kirkuk after looting it.

Serious Blow at Court System in Northern Pakistan
September 2. A breakaway branch of the Pak Taliban blew up a
court in Mardan, killing 12 and wounding 52, mostly police,
lawyers and their clients.
Jamaat-ul-Ahrar's spokesman, Ehsanullah Ehsan, vowed to
stage more attacks in a statement sent to Reuters. "We
appeal to civilians to remain away from law enforcement
installations and these un-Islamic courts. We will target

gunmen to attack a Christian community near Warsak was
foiled by Pakistani forces which killed all 4. The Mardan
attack is very disappointing for Pakistani military which
had just announced that it had wiped out the "militants" and

There is growing support in Pakistan for the Islamic State
[IS] and Pak military has announced the arrests of 150 of
its supporters.

Key

New York City - Many people sing the one stanza of the
Star-Spangled Banner. However, according to Community Cop
Show panelist Michael Greys there are four stanzas to the
Star-Spangled Banner. Francis Scott Key wrote was inspired
to write this song during the War of 1812. He was a slave
owner and just like many American symbols, this song did not
represent non-Whites living in this society at that time or
any other time. The Constitution and the signing of the
Declaration of Independence was not created with non-Whites
in mind and these documents have never really been altered
to do so in an all inclusive way.
Francis Scott Key was an owner of enslaved Africans.
According to Michael Greys, the British Royal Army promised
runaway slaves, who formed the Colonial Marines, that they
would give them freedom if they helped them fight these
insurgent Americans. It was during the Battle of Bladensburg
that Key, serving as lieutenant, and his men encountered
this Black battalion and barely escaped with their lives.
After the war, true to their word, the British sent those
Blacks who helped them fight, to Canada where they set up
their own territory (Of course, Canada is stolen land).
Francis Scott made reference to this in the third stanza of
The Star-Spangled Banner:
"No refuge could save the hireling and slave
From the terror of flight or the gloom of the grave,
And the star-spangled banner in triumph doth wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave."
After Francis Scott Key finished licking his wounds and his
ego had somewhat healed, he wrote the above lyrics, which
are an angry put-down directed at those former American
slaves who helped the enemy.

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Points Out The Hypocrisy Of The People
Attacking Colin Kaepernick
Last week, San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick
started a media firestorm when, prior to a game, he refused
to stand during the national anthem. Naturally, there were
those who saw it as un-patriotic, a slap in the face to the
men and women serving in our military and risking their
lives on a daily basis and an attack on the very idea of
America as a shining city on a hill.
But there's a counterpoint to that argument. Kaepernick, who
is bi-racial, says the reason he refused to stand was to
protest black oppression in this country. He became just the
latest in a string of professional athletes —
including several NBA players such as Carmelo Anthony, Chris
Paul, Dwyane Wade, and LeBron James — to speak out on
the highly-politicized issues plaguing the black community
today.
There's an argument to be made that Kaepernick's protest and
others like it (flag burning, for instance) are themselves
an act of patriotism, a fulfillment of our First Amendment
right to free speech. After all, the ability to openly
criticize your government, free of consequence from said
leaders, is a foundational American value.
That, of course, doesn't mean entirely free from
consequence. For Kaepernick, there was clearly great
personal risk involved. He's quickly become a pariah in the
eyes of a large portion of the population, and there's
already been talk that he could potentially be released by
the 49ers.
NBA legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, a staunch and outspoken
Civil Rights proponent throughout his career and beyond,
believes we should celebrate Kaepernick and that there is
great hypocrisy involved in how the conversation has hinged
on a debate about free speech rather than his initial
protest about black inequality in America.
Here's what he had to say in a piece he wrote for the
Washington Post on Tuesday:"What should horrify Americans is
not Kaepernick's choice to remain seated during the national
anthem, but that nearly 50 years after Ali was banned from
boxing for his stance and Tommie Smith and John Carlos's
raised fists caused public ostracization and numerous death
threats, we still need to call attention to the same racial
inequities. Failure to fix this problem is what's really
un-American here."
There's reason for optimism, however.

Timothy Peltz is being held on $1 million bail on charges he
sexually assaulted a girl - starting when she was just 3
years old - over a 10-year period.
In an unusual chronology, the I-Team has learned that the
alleged abuse began shortly after Peltz' own baby daughter
died shortly after birth.
During the years that the sexual assaults are said to have
occurred, Peltz worked as a deacon at a Roselle church and
also wrote and recorded gospel music.
On his YouTube channel, Tim Peltz is seen and heard singing
gospel songs that he wrote, calling himself "a poet for
Christ." In one posted performance, he belts out the Bears'
fight song. His most recent congregation was at Living Hope
Bible Church in Roselle.
According to DuPage County prosecutors, the Wheaton resident
began molesting a little girl 13 years ago when she was just
3. Prior to the alleged abuse, Peltz' own daughter Abigail
died 13 days after birth, according to the death notice. In
Peltz' book of "Inspirational Poems for the Soul" he wrote
that Abigail "had many medical problems" and he dedicates
the book to his dead daughter.
In DuPage County Court Thursday, authorities said Peltz
admitted the assaults began 13 years ago when the girl was 3
and he blamed the young victim for being too
affectionate.
Prosecutors said the assaults stopped when the girl was 13
"because she was able to physically resist," but began again
within the past several months. Police said the girl
eventually reported the assaults to her mother, who filed a
complaint.
In Peltz' mugshot he has a lengthy red scar on his neck.
According to his Facebook page, that scar is the result of
recent neck "fusion" surgery. He claims to be unemployed,
but says he is looking to find work.
In his book, Peltz' first chapter is a parent's prayer that
calls children "a heritage from the Lord." DuPage
prosecutors said Peltz threatened the young girl that one of
them would get in trouble if she disclosed the abuse.
