Masjid Reception for Sis. Ashira on her Return from
Ethiopia, Africa. Helping Needy Families.
On June 10 in Baltimore, an iftar reception was held to
welcome back Sis. Ashira Naim, the administrator of Masjid
Jamaat al-Muslimeen. She is back after a five month long
trip to Ethiopia.
The shoora committee members of the masjid and various
activists and family members attended the iftar. Brief
speeches were made to welcome the sister and to emphasize
the need to help the needy in Africa.
As one speaker pointed out, Ethiopia was the land of the
first hijra in the history of Islam where the Companions of
the Prophet, pbuh, led by his son-in-law Usman and his
daughter Ruqayya, r.a., took refuge from persecution by the
pagans and were welcomed by the Christian ruler, the Negus,
who later embraced Islam.
Sis. Ashira mentioned her resolve to go back to Africa and
to enlarge her charitable activities.

On June 10, Jamaat al-Muslimeen gave a 4-page in color
document to 100 Pakistani Americans after Juma at Masjid
Fatima in Catonsville, an upscale town west of Baltimore in
Maryland.
Almost the entire congregation is Pakistani and the sermon
is given in Urdu. The bidah they are following is that the
khutba [In Arabic] is extremely brief, less than 5 minutes.
Their real message, full of weird undocumented stories, is
in the form of a long waaz [sermon]. Today the imam told the
story of a "slave girl" [bandi] in Urdu who loved God so
much, she kept praying till she died.
[Where do they get these weird stories? It is not in any
authentic book of hadith. Slavery is forbidden in Islam.

3150 Arrested in Search for "Militants"
[Reported by BBC and wire services.]
On June 10, security forces raided towns across Bangladesh
and arrested 3150 "suspects."
It appears that the regime is looking for unknown people who
have killed bloggers who were blaspheming the Prophet, pbuh.
Two people openly initiating the homosexual movement with
the support of the US embassy were hacked to death. Several
Hindus have also been killed along with a couple of
secularists.
No one knows who is behind these attacks but they come after
the Dhaka regime started executing elderly Islamic scholars
who were convicted in absurd show trials. More than a
hundred young people have been killed by police while
demonstrating against the executions of elderly leaders.
Several hundred were wounded by the police. Many more have
been arrested.
Bangladeshi Muslims seemed quite helpless. Even the Prophet,
pbuh, was being insulted by the bloggers. Then the secret
attacks began. Some of the attacks have been attributed to
al-Qaida and/or the Islamic State but this cannot be
confirmed.
Turkish Pres Promptly Leaves US Amid Reports of Perceived
Snub at Ali Funeral
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan cut short his trip to
the United States today after being denied permission to
participate in critical aspects of Muhammad Ali's funeral,
according to a report published by Turkey's Dogan news
agency.
Erdogan traveled to the U.S. to partake in Ali's funeral
services. He decided to leave after reportedly being denied
the right to drape a piece of ceremonial cloth on Ali's
coffin during funeral prayers. Before arriving on U.S. soil,
funeral organizers had removed him from the list of
potential speakers at Ali's funeral, citing a limitation of
time as the cause for his exclusion, according to Dogan.
Adding to an air of discord surrounding the Turkish
president's trip was a short quarrel that allegedly occurred
between U.S. secret service officials and Turkish
presidential body guards over a matter of standing room. A
request for comment by ABC News to the U.S. Secret Service
was not immediately returned.
Erdogan, who has made the promotion of his Muslim heritage a
central part of his legacy as president, highlighted Ali's
Muslim faith yesterday at a dinner with several American
Muslims.

Comparisons with Malcolm X and Imam Jamil al-Amin are
natural and one can see right away what's wrong with the
tremendous media build up of Muhammad Ali.
Muslims are buried the day after they die or at the most the
day after that.
For most Americans, burial is expensive. If a person is not
rich, keeping the body for a whole week is prohibitively
expensive.
The supporters of Muhammad Ali broke the first law of Islam
by delaying the burial for reasons which have no basis in
Islamic law.
The people who wanted their bodies to be saved forever were
the pharaohs who are the epitome of paganism and evil power
according to the Quran. Some of that paganism exists in

The sport of boxing is not encouraged and definitely not
supported by Islam. When Muhammad Ali started scoring boxing
victories, his supporters completely abandoned their
objections to boxing. When he became a Muslim, his
supporters started claiming that these were victories for
Islam. It was a self-serving argument which has no basis in
Islam. Poor Muhammad Ali had to pay for this fame as for
most of his later life, he was incapacitated, probably, by
the hits he had endured. In his final fights he had lost.
Did that mean Islam was defeated by kufr? They had no
explanation.
War: For his opposition to the Vietnam war, Ali Muhammad
deserved all the praise for his impressive stance and the
punishment he endured. But there is no Vietnam war now and
hasn't been for about 45 years. In fact America and Vietnam
are friends and President Obama recently visited there.
So Muhammad Ali's Vietnam story is not only not relevant but
has been overshadowed by his attitude to war in the recent
decades.
When America encircled Arabia and occupied Iraq, what did
Muhammad Ali have to say? NOTHING!
It's true that in the 70s he spoke kindly about
Palestinians. After all, they are humans. But then Israel
invaded GAZA again, and again, and again.
What did Muhammad Ali say? NOTHING!
What about the sanctions on Iraq with a million slow deaths
including 500,00 children. Anything from Ali? NO! Surely he
could have sent a message through his family. Some of them
are Muslims.
What about the bombing and occupation of Afghanistan?
Zero.
When the occupation of Afghanistan became an occupation by
ALL of NATO, did the embers of Ali's conscience ignite?
Absolutely not!
What about Libya? Gaddafi was crying out for help, screaming
that al-Qaida was strangling him. Muhammad Ali's parent
organization, the NOI [although he left it, I think in 1975]
was deeply disturbed. [I didn't like Qaddafi but what was
done to Libya was one big war crime.] Even then nothing of
significance came out of Muhammad Ali. Perhaps he did say
something but I can't find it.
"Moderate" Muslims or Collaborators?
The funeral rites on June 9 and the procession on June 10
were marred by the emergence of the lowest of the low from
among the cronies and bootlickers of the American power
structure. Leading the pall bearers was Hamza Yusuf. At
every step of the American war against Muslims, he has
supported imperialism. How low is this disgusting camp
follower of the White House is his claim that if Muslims
don't believe the Jewish story of the holocaust then even
the Qur'an cannot be believed. This quisling's claim was so
shamelessly pro-Jewish that it was published in the Jewish
paper known as Tikkun. The editor of this Zionist
publication was invited to the funeral.
The prayers were led by a Zaid Shakir, a traitor if ever
there was one. This fellow opposed Muslim protests against
the cartoons of the Prophet, pbuh, drawn by the most
obnoxious anti-Islam blasphemers. He went to the extent of
expressing satisfaction on the execution of Saddam Hussain
[Shaheed] on EID ul ADHA. How despicable are people who
executed the leader of a nation on his holiest day. No
decent person can do that and this dastardly bootlicker of
imperialism expressed his satisfaction.
Other lesser toadies were also there, among them Naim Baig,
the current leader of ICNA, who is on the record as saying
that ICNA was in bed with the FBI for decades. The former
President of ICNA, Zahid Bukhari, is on the record as saying
on his own resume that he worked with the US State
Department [when America was spilling Muslim blood around
the globe].
Further down the food chain was CAIR's Dawud Walid. This
scum's organization handed over to the FBI FIVE young
American Muslims who had travelled to Pakistan with lawful
travel papers. Via the FBI, they were arrested in Pakistan,
tried by a Pakistani anti-terrorism court INSIDE a prison
and have disappeared.
Even an ordinary decent person should not have such
treacherous characters leading his final rites in the name
of Islam. [The entire final rites were projected by Ali
himself before he died, we are told.]
I too admired Ali's earlier, MUCH EARLIER, opposition to the
Vietnam war but for me the final straw which broke the
camel's back was his exploitation and violation of the
rights of women and the Islamic laws about relations between
men and women.
Should a womanizer be treated like a celebrity or a hero?
Certainly not in Islam. I rest my case.

celebrity for Muslims.
Hamza Yusuf has the Muslims so much deceived that some of
them might not believe that he equated faith in Islam with
faith in the holocaust. It was published in TIKKUN. It was
also posted on Hamza Yusuf's web site from which he removed
it after noticing our criticism. Here is the key quote from

transmitted from multiple sources. Tens of thousands of
Jewish and other individuals who survived the death camps

the horrific events. The numbers and details of such events

scholars, but questioning whether the events took place at

this as their religion is predicated on the same
epistemological premises as many major events in history,
such as the Holocaust. To deny such things is to undermine
Islam as an historical event. That a "conference" examining
the historicity of the Holocaust should take place in a
Muslim country hosted by a Muslim head of state is
particularly tragic and, in my estimation, undermines the
historicity of the faith of the people of that state."

I was helping my brothers at the masjid by directing traffic
and I witnessed an accident. One brother hit the other
brother's car from the back and when I approached them to
see if I could do anything to help, the brother told me,
"Don't worry about it; it's nothing. He is my son." A
thought came to mind: If we treat one another like we treat
our own families, we will be in good shape as an Ummah.
During the month of Ramadan, we are hungry during the day
and we are blessed when we break our fast at sunset. But the
poor people around the world are hungry during the day and
they don't break their fast at sunset. Some of these people
are children; they go hungry for a long time.
During the month of Ramadan, people are at the masjid every
day for a month and interactions causes friction and
fractions. Sometimes people lose focus. People need to
remember that patience is the key and Ramadan is about
patience. People need to remind themselves that this is the
month of blessings, the month of patience.
When people lose their internet or cannot find Wi-fi for a
few hours, they become very sad. But when the Qur'an is
abandoned for weeks and months, people do not feel sad.
Use the power of Ramadan to manage, organize and restrict
the usage of the Internet.
This month of Ramadan, lend a hand to your brothers. You
don't need permission to help someone else. You don't need
permission to help your masjid.
Your masjid is an Amanah, a trust. Keep it clean. Clean
after yourself, clean after your children, clean after one
another. Remember that the reward will be multiplied during
the month of Ramadan. Cleaning is half of faith and a
righteous deed.
During the month of Ramadan, do not waste. If you get a
bottle of water, do not just take one sip and leave it
behind in the masjid. Keep your bottle of water with you.
Drink it and when you finish, try to remove the air from it
and dispose of it in a recycle can.
This month of Ramadan, be alert. Remember all the time that
you are fasting. Remember that all the time you are
worshipping Allah (SWT). If you have such mindset, then you
will be successful.
It is a simple equation: the more you work on your fasting,
the better outcome you will have. You will achieve the
objective of fasting with Taqwa.

Pakistani Regime Recognizing US Double Standards for the

LAHORE, June 10; Ameer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Senator
Sirajul Haq, has said it was for the first time in the
country's history, that the Foreign Ministry had strongly
protested over the US double standards in her dealings with
Pakistan. He was talking to the media outside the parliament
house on Friday.
Sirajul Haq said that Islamabad's Foreign Policy had never
been independent and sovereign and had always watched the US
interests. Pakistan, he said, had suffered tremendously in
the US war on terror. "We have lost thousands of our troops
and civilians and the country's economy has suffered losses
more than 100 billion dollars. Despite that, the US has
always shown distrust in Islamabad and had been trying to
humiliate us," , he added. He said, it was high time that
the US was told point blank that "if our interests were
harmed, nothing good should be expected from us ether."
Sirajul Haq impressed upon the government to refrain from
selling out the country's honour and sovereignty to the US
who had always deceived Pakistan. "We don't want a war with
the US but at the same time cannot surrender our
independence and sovereignty", he declared.
The JI chief stressed that the strategy of protecting the US
interests should be given up. He said that a comprehensive
debate should be held in the parliament on the foreign
policy and it should be reframed in accordance with the
nation's aspirations.
Sirajul Haq said,' The US herself has admitted that her
friendship as also her enmity were not good". "We want
relations with the US on equal footing" he said. However, he
said the US was dreaming of India's hegemony in the region
but declared that this would not come true.
He stressed upon the government to strongly oppose NSG
membership for India and make it clear to Washington that if
the US did not give up India's support, the balance of power
in the region would be disturbed and it would suffer from
chaos and anarchy.
Sirajul Haq said that India's aggressive designs were no
secret. India had not recognized this country till now.
India had attacked Pakistan several times. India was
occupying Kashmir by force for that last six decades and was
shedding the blood of Kashmiris.
The JI chief said that Pakistan at present did not have a
Prime Minister or a Foreign Minister. The boat of the
country was in troubled waters and without an oarsman, he

Libya
Attack on Sirte, ISIS Stronghold, Leads to Heavy Casualties
for Pro-West Forces. Appeal For International Medical Help.
100 attackers killed, 400 wounded.
May 30-June 12. Columns of pro-western military forces,
supported by Libyan jets and western surveillance aircraft,
attacked Sirte, the ISIS stronghold , on the Libyan coast.
The attack was with overwhelming force but as it drew closer
to Sirte, the ISIS resistance.
The attacking forces took a village on the coast and then
captured the eastern side of Sirte. However, the fighting
intensified and resulted in extremely heavy casualties for
the attackers. The fighting is now at a stalemate.
Some idea of the extent of losses suffered by the attackers
can be gauged from this statement from CNN
"The offensive that has lasted almost two weeks has left
more than a hundred fighters dead and about 400 others
wounded, the Government of National Accord said, calling on
the international community to provide urgent medical
support to Libyan security forces."
Syria
Meinbig Corridor to Turkey Encircled: Hundreds of ISIS
Fighters and Civilians killed in US Air Attacks.
Assad's forces Unable to Advance. Bombing and Shelling of
Aleppo, Damascus Suburbs Continues.
IS Attacks Zainabia District of Damascus. US and French
Special Forces join the Kurds.
June 12: SDF forces, Kurdish Communists and Syrian
secularists, have moved behind a steady crescendo of US air
strikes to encircle Meinbig, from which there is a corridor
to Turkey. If Meinbig is captured by the Kurds, the Islamic
State will have only one town left in its control on the way
to Turkey from where resources from around the Muslim world
are smuggled in to ISIS.
Families of ISIS fighters are moving from Meinbig to El-Bab,
which and all the way to east of Aleppo remains under IS
control.
American air force is taking a heavy toll of ISIS mujahideen
and the civilians supporting them. According to SOHR, the
air force has killed 223 Islamic fighters and 41 civilians,
including 16 children and 10 women. As IS withdraws to its
defense line around Meinbig, the Communist Kurds have
suffered only 28 killed.
The bombing by USA is making it difficult for ISIS to bring
up reinforcements. Observers say, there is nothing ISIS can
do to stop US air attacks.
Aleppo too is under indiscriminate daily air attacks by
Assad's air force along with Russian jets. In one month, the
assadis and the Russians have killed 264 civilians in Aleppo
including 38 children and 26 women.
Hizbullah and Iran are shelling Aleppo with long range
artillery which has killed 47 civilians including 20
children and 4 women. FSA is holding Aleppo's eastern side
while the western side is held by Alawaite militias and a
part by Kurdish Communists who are being shelled by FSA
resulting in numerous losses including civilians, both
Alawite and Kurdish.
Fighting around Damascus is continuing with various suburbs
held by FSA, al-Nusra and Palestinians supporting IS. The
Assad regime keeps bombing them but is unable to dislodge
them.
The latest is an IS martyrdom attack by three fighters in
the Zainabia district of Damascus with heavy Alawite
casualties. [June 11]
The Hizbullah-Shiite-Assad advance towards Tabaqa in the
direction of IS capital al-Raqqa has been stopped by hard
core IS resistance. No advance for a whole week
Fighting also continues in Lattakia in the northeast of
Syria and Deir ez Zor in the southeast. No big advances by
either side in spite of bombing by the Russians.
Islamic State Takes Responsibility for attack on Homosexual
Nightclub in Orlando

Islamic State's Amaq news agency said on Sunday that the
Islamist militant group was responsible for the shooting
that killed at least 50 people in a massacre at a gay
nightclub in Orlando, Florida.
"The armed attack that targeted a gay night club in the city
of Orlando in the American state of Florida which left over
100 people dead or injured was carried out by an Islamic
State fighter," Amaq said.
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Omar S. Mateen, the Florida resident
suspected of killing 50 people at a gay nightclub in
Orlando, Florida, called 911 before the shooting and swore
allegiance to Islamic State, NBC News said on Twitter.
In a posting on its web site, MSNBC said Mateen swore
allegiance to Islamic State leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.
The gunman killed 50 people and injured 53 in a crowded gay
nightclub in the tourist hub of Orlando, Florida, early on
Sunday before being shot dead by police, authorities said,
in what appeared the deadliest mass shooting in American
history.
The shooter was identified as Omar S. Mateen, a man that a
senior FBI official said might have had leanings toward
Islamic State militants. Officials described the attack as a
"terrorism incident" though cautioned that the suspected
Islamist connection required further investigation

Corrupt Justice System Does What Was Intended: Grant
Leniency for Rape

Brock Turner, a former Stanford University student/swimmer,
was sentenced by Judge Aaron Persky to only 6 months in
prison for raping an unconscious woman at a pool party. He
moved the victim's limp body to a location behind a
dumpster. Two men on bicycles intervened when it became
clear to them that a rape was occurring and not an act of
exhibitionism. Turner, who is 20 years old, was convicted in
March 2016. Both the victim and Turner's father provided a
12 page and 20 page statements, respectively. The father
drew people's ire by supporting his son and referring to the
rape as "20 minutes of action." Very dismissive.
In spite of the victim recounting her horrific ordeal, which
ended with an hours long gynecological exam, the judge gave
Brock Turner only 6 months! Judge Aaron Persky stated that
he does not believe that Turner is a threat to society but,
he will still have to register as a sex offender. He cited
Turner's age and lack of a criminal history as reasons for
giving him such an incredibly light sentence. He never
considered the suffering of the woman.
Currently, there is a petition to get Santa Clara County
Superior Court Judge Aaron Persky removed, Over 191,000
people have signed the petition, so far. Judges in
California can be removed easily since they are elected by
voters. The issue with the justice system is that, whether a
judge is using his own discretion or following a mandatory
sentencing law, White convicts seem to be able to wriggle
through the same net meant to entrap non-Whites. For
instance, possession of marijuana is not an offense that
requires jail time or even an arrest. Most laws handle
marijuana possession with the issuance of a ticket. However,
many Blacks are arrested and detained, while their White
counterparts get ticketed.
Hopefully, the people's efforts to remove this judge will
happen and, if it does, it will send a very empowering
message to other people that they can do the same and do not
have to settle for unjust sentencing.

For some hidden reason, President Erdogan of Turkey was
suddenly removed from the list of speakers. This insulting
treatment of a head of state is unknown around the world. He
had actually arrived in America and was suddenly
unlisted.
The excuse for his removal was even worse, that the
organizers had found some other speakers and therefore there
was just no space for Erdogan.
What was behind this shameful behavior came out very briefly
in the speech by the Rabbi who heads Tikkun magazine,
supposedly a liberal Jew, great friend of Hamza Yusuf. He
was being cheered by the crowd for saying nice things about
Palestinians and Muslims in America should not be mistreated
for the behavior of a few, when he suddenly came out with
this:
"Tell the leaders of Turkey to stop bombing and murdering
their Kurd minority. Tell the US to stop sending military
supplies to Saudi Arabia, which is the sponsor of some of
the most hate-filled teachings in the Islamic world and is
one of the most repressive regimes on the face of the
earth."
Just think about this. Turkey is facing terrorist attacks by
Communist Kurds and he is blaming Turkey. Erdogan is very
sensitive to the terrorist activities of the Kurds and he is
hurt by US support for the Kurds.
So, the Rabbi might have been active behind the scenes to
have Erdogan removed from the list of speakers.
Also Erdogan was bringing a cloth with Quranic inscriptions
from the Kaaba to place on the bier of Muhammad Ali. So we
have the attack by the Rabbi on Saudi Arabia. One of the
most repressive regimes?
What about Israel which has expelled the entire population
of Palestine?
What about Syria, murdering its own people city after
city?
What about Generak Sissi slaughtering a thousand unarmed
demonstrators in broad daylight.
Hate filled teachings? The Saudis distribute the Qur'an. Is
that hate filled? If the Saudis hate Americans, why would
there be 30, 000 Americans working in Saudi, its
intelligence services and military organized and supervised
by Saudi. What about the mosques established in America by
the Saudis? These are the mosques which NEVER speak against
America. Is it hate to say that according to the Qur'an it
is the true believers who will go to paradise?
it is no exaggeration to say that the Zionists are preparing
the grounds for destroying Saudi Arabia.
The oil is not so badly needed now with America and Russia
flowing with their own supplies.
New Trend strongly disagrees with many aspects of Saudi
Arabi, particularly kingship, but when a Jew starts claiming
that Saudi Arabia is most repressive and Turkey is murdering
the Kurds, Muslims need to wake up and pay heed to the
machinations of their worst enemies.
Attempts are being made to link Saudi Arabia with the 9.11
attacks with the recent "revelationjs" that two Saudis
talked to the hijackers.
Also, the Zionists are preparing to openly link Turkey to
the "genocide" of Armenians. It has been done quietly till
now but preparations are now underway to come out big
time.
This is what they dont want you to see. Bush gave the
highest honors to Muhammad Ali. Is that a hero of the
