HADITH OF THE WEEK
Abi Bakra, Allah be pleased with him, narrates about Prophet
Muhammad, pbuh): He said:
Your blood, your goods and your honor are as much protected
and safe (forever) as is this day (of Arafa) in this month
(of Hajj). Be aware and those of you who are here (today)
should pass this on to those who are not here.
(Sahih of Imam Bukhari)
Dear Muslims: asalamu alaikum
What do these men have in common?
-
Suhail Webb
-
Tarek Ramadan
-
Hamza Yusuf
-
Zaid Shakir
-
Syed Sayeed
-
Nihad Awad.
Answer: They condemn the Islamic State [IS] as un-Islamic
and anti-Islamic.
What else do they have in common?
-
They do not question the legitimacy of Israel and its
right to exist.
-
They did not condemn or oppose the occupation of
Afghanistan.
-
They did not condemn or oppose the invasion of Iraq.
-
They did not condemn or oppose the show trial and
execution of President Saddam Hussain.
-
They did not support the defense of Gaza by Hamas.
-
They did not oppose or condemn General Musharraf's
assault on the Red Mosque and the Women's Seminary Jamia
Hafsa in Pakistan.
-
They did not condemn or oppose the displacement of the
ENTIRE population of Swat and now North Waziristan in
Pakistan by US backed generals.
-
They are silent about the drone attacks on Pakistani
villages.
-
They did not condemn or oppose the unjust imprisonment of
Imam Jamil, the Blind Shaykh, Dr. Aafia, Tarek Mehanna,
Lynne Stewart, Ahmed Abdel Sattar, Masoud Khan, Ziyad Yaghi,
Dr. Kifah Jayyousi, Dr. Ali Timimi and all other Islamic
political prisoners.
-
Following President Obama's lead, they have supported
the homosexual movement directly or indirectly, in some
cases remaining vague in others giving outright support to
the "gay." lobby
-
Their silence about police brutality against poor and
black people in cities across America is deafening.
Overall it is fair to say that these individuals are
insensitive to the suffering of the Ummah both within
America and globally.
They have been busy trying to fulfill the Zionist,
Imperialist agenda for an "American Islam" or what they like
to call "Moderate Islam."

What Cilantro Can Do For You
Cilantro is a phenomenal herb that is packed with vitamins
A, K, & C, minerals such as iron, calcium, and magnesium,
and has more antioxidants than most fruits or vegetables.
Cilantro is a remarkable heavy-metal detoxifier and is able
to remove mercury and aluminum from where it is stored in
the adipose (fat) tissues. Cilantro is also able to mobilize
mercury rapidly from the brain and central nervous system by
separating it from the fat tissue and moving into the blood
& lymph where when combined with a blue green algae such as
spirulina it can be removed safely and effectively from the
body. Cilantro & blue green algae used together is a winning
combination and a natural miracle that has given tremendous
relief to those suffering from mercury poisoning & toxicity.
Cilantro also contains an anti-bacterial compound called
dodecenal which has the ability to kill salmonella bacteria
and prevent salmonella poisoning. Cilantro is highly
beneficial for Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease,
Arthritis, Diabetes, Viral and Bacterial Infections,
Hepatitis, Colitis, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorders, Autism,
Tourette Syndrome, Infertility, and Bell's Palsy. Cilantro
is also very helpful with autoimmune disorders such as
Fibromyalgia, Addison's Disease, Guillain-Barre syndrome,
IBS, Multiple Sclerosis, and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.
Cilantro is known to support the stomach, spleen, adrenals,
thyroid, pancreas, bladder, and lungs. It is also highly
beneficial in reducing LDL (bad) cholesterol and raising HDL
(good) cholesterol. Cilantro is often juiced with celery and
apples for a medicinal and healing drink. Juicing cilantro
is one of the most effective ways to get at least one bunch
or more of cilantro in you a day. Cilantro can also be added
to smoothies, salsas, salads, guacamole, soups, pesto,
tomatoes, beans, and veggie dishes. If the green flavor of
cilantro does not appeal to you, yet you still want to
receive its health benefits, consider using cilantro
tincture or extract which can be found online or at your
local health food store.
How Shi'ism Began
The Murder of Usman, r.a., Compiler of al- Qur'an; Greatest
Sahabi [except 2]. Beloved of Muhammad, pbuh.
by Kaukab Siddique, PhD
On Muharram 1, hijri year 24, the Companions of the Prophet,
pbuh, gave the oath of allegiance [baiya] to Usman ibn
Affan, r.a.
On Zilhijja 18, hijri year 36, he was murdered.
His 12 years as Caliph were years of victory for Islam when
the armies of mujahideen reached as far west as Morocco and
as far east as central Asia [Tabaristan etc].
Led by his commander for the navy, Muawiyya, r.a., the
Muslims, defeated the combined navies of Christendom in one
day. It is reported that the ocean ran red with the blood of
the European army.
The Prophet, pbuh, saw his piety and commitment to the faith
and arranged the marriage of his daughter, Ruqayya, r.a.
with Usman, r.a..
When the chiefs of Makka oppressed the Muslims, Usman,r.a.,
and Ruqayya, r.a., did the first hijra in the history of
Islam to Ethiopia in Africa thus creating the Islamic link
with Africa. It was a very tough journey and on the way
Ruqayya, r.a., had a miscarriage. Her health problems
continued after they returned from Ethiopia. He was always
there for her, caring and compassionate.
After Ruqayya, r.a., died, the Prophet, pbuh, arranged the
marriage of his second daughter, Umm Kulthum, r.a., with
Usman. She too was in bad health and years later she passed
away. The Prophet, pbuh, said if he had another daughter, he
would have married her too to Usman, r.a., because of
Usman,s, r.a., compassion and love. [Fatima, r.a., the third
daughter, was already married to Ali, r.a.]
Why were the shias able to murder Usman, r.a.?
Three important reasons are available in the authentic early
histories:
-
The Islamic armies were stretched out hundreds of miles
away from Medina.
-
Many prominent Muslims, including Ayesha, r.a., had gone
for Hajj.
-
There was a campaign of rumor mongering and slandering
against Usman, r,a., Sahaba, r.a., had often differed with
each other but never fought each other. They thought the new
controversies were normal in an open society and NEVER
thought that anyone with a Muslim name would try to kill the
blessed Caliph who had the love of the Prophet, pbuh, as
part of his credibility.
When the shias realized there was no armed force to defend
Medina, they entered the city and besieged the mosque and
the home of Usman, r.a. The Shias numbered about 6000,
including groups from Egypt parts of Iraq. From the people
of Madina, 600 people came forth to defend of Caliph. He
told them NOT to fight. He said he did not want Muslim blood
to be shed for his sake.
When the rebels closed in on him, he tried to dialogue with
them. He told them that they did not have the right to
remove as Calipn because they had not made him the Caliph.
When they pressed into the mosque and his home, he saw that
they were intent on killing him. He told them that a Muslim
can only be killed for three reasons and unproven
accusations of misrule were not one of them.
Finally,on Friday, while he was continuing his fasting from
previous days, a group of the Shias leapt on him and killed
him while he was reading the Qur'an he had compiled. A slave
he had freed, fought the attackers and gave his life.
Nailah, the wife of Usman, r,a,, put up her hand to stop the
sword blow coming down on him, Her fingers were cut off.
There was great suspicion at that time that Ali, r.a., was
behind the shia attack but he vehemently and repeatedly
denied any involvement. Among the assailants was Ali's step
son. Another man became famous as commander of Ali's army,
named Ashtar, was among the assailants.
Suspicions were raised by the killers declaring Ali, r.a.,
as the next Caliph.
Nailah cried out to the Muslim Ummah that could they allow
such a dastardly crime to be committed. She cried out to
Muawiyyah, r.a,, and showed him her fingers which had been
cut off. The fingers were hung on the gateway to the central
mosque in Damascus. Thousands of Syrians rallied to
Muawiyya, r.a., for the cause of Usman, r.a.
Ayesha, r.a., who was in Makkah for the Hajj called for the
murderers to be punished. An army gathered around her. Thus
came about the wars between Muslims which followed.
As Usman, r.a., had told his assailants, if you kill me, you
will never be able to pray togethert.

authentic narratives.]
JAPAN
President of Muslim Association of Japan, Also An Expert In
Political Science And Shari'ah, Dr. Hasan Ko Nakata, Phd.
Joined Dawlah Islamiyyah (IS)
Professor Dr. Hasan Ko Nakata, Phd. an expert in Political
Science and Shari'ah was one of 9 Japanese nationals who
reportedly joined Dawlah Islamiyyah (IS).
Hasan Ko Nakata, who was the President of the Muslim
Association of Japan reverted to Islam in his third year at
the faculty of Islamic Studies at Tokyo University. Before
that, he was very acquainted with the Christian religion. It
was no surprise that during his earlier years at Tokyo
University, he joined the Bible study group. It was there
where he got familiar with the studies of Comparative
Religion
He studied the subject of Comparative Religion in
Christianity, Judaism, Shinto, Buddhism and Islam. When
weighing and comparing for about a year he felt that the
teaching of Islam is the most comprehensive. "I found that
it was Islam which is the most comprehensive, rational and
consistent system of life, and finally by Allah SWT's mercy
I decided to embrace Islam," he said. He thus added the name
"Hassan" in front of his original name. He had looked into
the tariqat of Naqshabandiyah and Syaziliah. "However, I was
not a good student," he said.
After getting his degree, Hassan wanted to explore into
Islam deeper. But there had not been any master program on
Islamic Studies in Japanese Universities. It was also
difficult to get Islamic books in Japanese language.
Fortunately, not long after that, Tokyo University opened a
master program on Islamic Studies. ''I became the first and
the last Muslim student in the field of Islamic Studies at
Tokyo University for 25 years,'' said this Proffesor.
After finishing his master at Tokyo University, he continued
his doctorate study at Cairo University. His dissertation
was on the Political Thinking of Ibn Taymiyah (al-Fikratu
al-Siyasatu 'inda Ibni Taymiya). He explained in that
dissertation the uniqueness of the political thinking of
Ibnu Taymiyah in the history of political thinking and his
influence on the contemporary political movement, which
includes Hizbut Tahrir. After passing his doctorate, Hassan
became a researcher at the Japanese Embassy in Saudi Arabia
(1992-1995). No wonder he could speak Arabic fluently.
His activities in da'wah in the Country of Sakura can be
classified as prominent. The characteristic of the Japanese
people which is indifferent towards religions drove him to
find a way so as to be able to propagate Islam. Moreover,
there were very few dai'e's with quality.
The only best way to spread Islam in Japan, according to
him, is through the personal influence of the workers of
da'wah who have a broad and deep knowledge about Islam with
a good personality, as well as an understanding of the
Japanese culture.
He, together with the Japanese Muslim who are the minority,
conducted various efforts, which included translating a
number of classical books such as "Tafsir al-Jalalain",
"al-Siyasah al-Syar'iyyah of Ibn Taimiyyah" and "Zad
al-Mustaqni' al-Hujawi al-Hanbali", as well as publishing
monthly magazines that were disseminated for free to all
Japanese Muslims and throughout the world as an information
and communication media.
Hasan Ko Nakata had served as the President of the Muslim
Association of Japan while teaching Islamic Studies at
Doshisha University, Kyoto. A majority of his students were
in fact Christian. Being the principal for four years at
Doshisha, Hassan managed to lure four of his students, who
were originally atheist, to convert to Islam.
His name stood out in Indonesia when there was an
International Khalifah Conference organized by Hizbut Tahrir
at the Utama Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, Jakarta, August
2007. He was one of the speakers of the akbar activities
which struck the world at that time. Before that, not many
Muslims of Indonesia knew of a Japanese intellectual whose
attention on the da'wah of Islam is so great.
Earlier, Hasan believed in the conception of Hizbut Tahrir
in terms of the establishment of the caliphate, however with
the passing of time and review of thoughts, Hassan Ko Nakata
changed.
The impossibility of the establishment of the caliphate with
only da'wah and thoughts without the true jihad (Qital) just
like Hizbut Tahrir became the main reason for Hasan Ko
Nakata to make hijrah to Darul Islam. Allahu Akbar!!!

Curfew Imposed in Khyber: Pakistani Jet fighters Attack
Islamics. Ground operation Launched.
In the Akakhel area of Khyber, on October 16 Pakistani jet
fighters supplied by the US attacked the Lashkare Islam
group loosely linked to Pakistani Taliban. The bombing went
on all day and killed 21 people alleged to be
"militants."
On October 17, Pakistani ground units led by artillery and
tanks attacked Islamic villages in the Bara area of Khyber
killing 9 "suspected" Islamic militants and injuring 10. The
army has taken measures to crush civilian support for the
mujahideen, Here is how Dawn reports it:
"Curfew has been imposed in the area and people are not
allowed to either enter or leave Bara. Security forces have
also blocked all routes leading to Bara and have surrounded
its Malikdinkhel, Akakhel and Sipah areas." In retaliation,
there was a bomb attack on a militia set up by the Pakistani
military in which 5 militia tribals were killed and 4
injured.

An Impressive Effort to Alleviate Muslim Poverty in Gujarat,
India
Asghar Vasanwala
Dear friends,
I am so grateful to you all especially those who responded
to my Qurbani appeal and pledged goat sacrifices this
Eid-ul-Adha. We sacrificed 155 goats and distributed its
meat among poor Muslims living in slums. Please view
following pictures of meat distribution in various villages
in Panchmahals District, Gujarat.
Story of Muslim poverty is the same everywhere. Politician
and media boast about Shining Gujarat but no shining rays
fall on these poor Muslims. Many Muslims leaders wear
Islamic attire and boast they know the way to heaven but do
nothing uplifting these poor. It is a shame that rich
Muslims do not pay any attention. Mullahs do not emphasize
on education, jobs, business, and poverty in Jumma Khutba
and in other
gatherings. They make Dua and tasbeeh/rosary as if it was
enough for changing condition on ground that Allah will come
down and do it for them. Rising prices, lower wages, lack of
education, discrimination, etc. have made it worst for these
poor Muslims.
Please note that as such Muslims insists on keeping women
secluded and imposing hijab etc. however when there is help
or charity receiving program they push women forward; men
feel too proud standing in charity line. You can see in
following pictures almost all waiting in line, are
women.
Past and present Governments have totally failed advancing
Muslims the way they advanced Dalit class. Muslims are given
bad names so that public feel Muslims deserve it and not
feel any guilt. With 16% of Indian population living in
backward condition, India cannot become 1st rate
country.

Woman says she was attacked at a police station in Uttar
Pradesh after going there to seek her husband's release
http://www.theguardian.com/world/2014/jun/12/indian-police-gang-rape-uttar-pradesh
An Indian woman has said she was gang-raped by four officers
at a police station, the latest in a string of sex attacks
in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The woman said she was
attacked when she went to the station overnight on Monday in
the Hamirpur district to seek her husband's release.
"At 11.30pm when there was no one in the room the
sub-inspector took me to his room and raped me inside the
police station," the woman told CNN-IBN. She filed a
complaint with a senior officer on Wednesday over the
attack, which allegedly occurred when she refused to pay a
bribe to secure the release of her husband. Virendra Kumar
Shekhar, a police official from Hamirpur, said: "The
procedure will be followed. The victim has filed a complaint
and the guilty will be arrested soon."
Sub-inspector Balbir Singh said a criminal case had been
lodged against four officers from the station.
The case is the latest in a string of rapes and murders in
Uttar Pradesh, India's most populous state, where the chief
minister, Akhilesh Yadav, is under growing political
pressure over his handling of law and order.
Last month, two girls, aged 12 and 14, were gang-raped and
lynched in their village. They were attacked after going
into a field to relieve themselves at night because they did
not have a lavatory at home.
Their families refused to cut the bodies down from the tree
for hours in protest, saying police had failed to take
action against the attackers because the girls were from a
low caste.
The prime minister, Narendra Modi, , in his first comments
on the issue since the hanging of the girls sparked public
outrage, on Wednesday urged all politicians to work together
to protect women. Modi warned politicians against
"politicising rape", saying they were "playing with the
dignity of women" in his first speech to parliament since
sweeping to power at last month's election.
India brought in tougher laws last year against sexual
offenders after the fatal gang-rape of a student in New
Delhi in December 2012, but they have failed to stem the
tide of violence against women.
Also on Wednesday, a 45-year-old woman was found hanging
from a tree in Uttar Pradesh. Her family said she had been
raped and murdered. A police officer said five men were
being questioned over the incident, which occurred several
kilometres from her home in Bahraich district. "They [her
husband and son] have alleged that the woman, before being
strung up from the tree, was raped and murdered by these
men," the district superintendent Happy Guptan told AFP.

US Bombing challenged by al-Zawahiri's Initiative to Support
Islamic State [IS]
by Richard Spencer [Middle East Correspondent]
[Courtesy British daily Telegraph of October 17, 2014]
[Please excuse the language used by the British paper ...NT

Al-Qaeda's leading terror franchise has presented a new
challenge to the American-led coalition in Syria and Iraq by
calling on the group to back Islamic State of Iraq and the
Levant despite the two groups' fierce rivalry.
The call by Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula is doubly
significant because its leader is believed to have been
appointed as "general manager" or chief operating officer
and deputy to Al-Qaeda's overall head, Ayman
al-Zawahiri.
In the past year, Zawahiri and the head of Isil, Abu Bakr
al-Baghdadi, have clashed openly and the two groups have
fought each other in Syria. But America's decision to bomb
not only Isil in Iraq and Syria but also a group of Al-Qaeda
fighters accused of planning an attack on the United States
has drawn the two rival jihadi organisations closer
together.
"We urge all Muslims to back their brethren, with their
souls, money and tongues, against the crusaders," a
statement released on Friday said. "We call on anyone who
can wear down the Americans to strive to do so by military,
economic or media means." The American decision to bomb an
outpost of Al-Qaeda's official faction in the Syrian Civil
War, Jabhat Al-Nusra, caused outrage in the rebel cause.
Many rebels were already angry that after refusing to
intervene militarily on their side against the Assad regime,
the US was nevertheless prepared to bomb Isil positions. The
attack on Jabhat Al-Nusra, which had fought closely
alongside other rebel factions, including pro-Western ones,
was seen as an outright betrayal of the anti-Assad
cause.
Now the United States is having difficulty finding rebels to
train and arm in accordance with the broader plans outlined
by President Barack Obama to support the "moderate" cause in
the war.
On a recent visit to the region, Gen John Allen, the retired
US army officer put in charge by President Obama, made
contact with the rebels' political leadership recognised by
the US and its western allies, but not the Free Syrian Army,
its military wing. He said that recruiting the rebel army
would not happen immediately and would require a "holistic
approach". "At this point, there is not formal co-ordination
with the FSA," he said.
His words cast fresh doubt on America's long-pledged
commitment to bring about the downfall of the regime.Without
support for secular and non-jihadi Islamist rebels, the
battle for Syria has become increasingly one between the
regime on the one hand and extremist groups like Isil and
Jabhat Al-Nusra on the other.
Some more moderate rebels are holding out in the south, and
in Idlib and Aleppo provinces in the north-west. But the
rebels in Aleppo are all but surrounded by the regime, while
continuing to have to fight Isil on their eastern front.
In a further development, the monitoring group Syrian
Observatory for Human Rights reported that Isil had been
able to fly three Russian fighter jets captured from the
regime. Though they have not been used in operations, the
Observatory said the MiG jets were being flown with the help
of defected Iraqi air force officers.
The United States said it had picked up no radar signs of
the planes, but the Observatory said they were flying at low
altitude to avoid detection by the regime. The world's
attention has been focused on the Kurdish city of Kobane on
the Syrian-Turkish border, where air strikes have helped the
Kurdish YPG militia hold off an Isil advance.
But elsewhere, Isil forces have been strong in recent days.
Kurdish advances in the north of Iraq seem to have halted,
while Isil continues to make ground in Anbar province close
to the capital Baghdad.
As for Syria, despite events in Kobane, the United States
insist that it is of secondary importance to events in Iraq.
If Jabhat Al-Nusra, which now plays a leading role in
fighting the regime, including seizing territory on the
border with Israeli-occupied Golan, joins forces with Isil,
it will present a huge challenge to both the regime and
American plans. Analysts said the new statement did not
resolve the ideological issues dividing the two - Al-Qaeda
still objects to Isil's declaration of a "Caliphate" with
Baghdadi at its helm. But it specifically rejected declaring
Isil non-Muslims or heretics, as many of its opponents do,
saying they are "no such thing". Instead it insists they
are "brothers". "We urge all mujahidin to set aside their
differences and inter-factional fighting and move instead
against the crusade targeting all," it said.

YEMEN
Sanaa (AFP) - Suspected Al-Qaeda militants have captured a
town in southwest Yemen in a deadly attack seen as a
countermove to advances by Shiite rebels sweeping across the
strife-hit country.
Rival groups are seeking to exploit a power vacuum in
impoverished Yemen, which has been in a political deadlock
since the Huthi Shiite rebels took control of the capital
Sanaa last month.
Al-Qaeda's Yemen-based franchise, considered by the United
States to be the deadliest branch of the extremist network,
has vowed to fight the rebels in defence of Sunni Muslims.
Its militants stormed the town of Udain overnight, setting
fire to the police headquarters and attacking the offices of
the local government, a security official and local sources
said Thursday.
Five policemen were reported dead. The offensive came just
hours after Shiite rebels overran the provincial capital of
Ibb located 20 kilometres (12.5 miles) to the east. Yemen,
a key ally in US efforts to combat Al-Qaeda, has been
wracked by political turmoil and sporadic violence since an
uprising toppled strongman Ali Abdullah Saleh in 2012.
Al-Qaeda is active in several Yemeni provinces, mainly in
the south and southeast, where repeated government military
campaigns drove the network's militants out of key cities
they once controlled.
The push into Udain appeared to be in retaliation for the
Huthis' capture of Ibb, a local official said. Already in
control of Sanaa and the strategic port city of Hudeida, the
Shiite rebels on Wednesday appeared to have taken control,
unopposed, of the Dhamar and Ibb provinces, security
officials said. They have been taking advantage of the
political crisis in Sanaa to seize significant areas,
threatening the authority of the Sunni-led central
government. The Huthis have kept up their advance despite
the naming of a new prime minister on Monday by President
Abdrabuh Mansur Hadi in a bid to resolve the stalemate.
Steady rebel expansion -
The steady expansion of the Shiite rebels has increased the
threat of an open confrontation with Al-Qaeda. Deadly
fighting broke out Tuesday when the Huthis tried to expand
out of the town of Rada in central Baida and clashed with
Al-Qaeda militants.
Five rebels, six suspected Al-Qaeda militants and a civilian
were killed during the fighting in Rada, a security official
and tribal sources said Wednesday. Suspected Al-Qaeda
militants executed a local Huthi chief, Khalil al-Riyami,
who was apparently captured during clashes, local sources
said. Al-Qaeda gunmen were also spotted in Ibb and Taez, the
largest city in Yemen that lies further south. But a deal
has been reached between the local government of Taez and
representatives of the rebels who agreed not to enter the
city, helping to avert potential confrontations, a local
official said.
Photo: Supporters of the Yemeni Shiite Houthi movement stand
around the coffins of members killed five days
The Huthis, who have long complained of marginalisation by
Sanaa, were so far concentrated in the mostly Shiite
northern highlands in otherwise Sunni-majority Yemen. Huthi
militiamen stormed into Sanaa on September 21, easily
seizing key government installations, and they now man
checkpoints and run patrols across the capital in almost
total absence of the security forces.
Al-Qaeda claimed responsibility for a powerful suicide
bombing that killed 47 people at a gathering of Huthi
supporters in Sanaa earlier this month.
An unknown assailant on a motorbike late on Wednesday hurled
a grenade at a Huthi post in the capital, killing two people
and wounding two others, rebels said.
November 30 'deadline' -
Attempting to seize the opportunity of weakening state
authority, thousands of supporters of the separatist
Southern Movement continued a sit-in they started Tuesday in
the main city of the south, Aden, demanding renewed
independence. "We have set a deadline of November 30 to be
handed control of military and security institutions in the
south," said Southern Movement activist Adib al-Issa. If
this does not happened, he warned, "they will be seized by
force". The south was independent between the end of British
colonial rule in 1967 and its union with the north in 1990.
A secession attempt four years later sparked a brief but
bloody civil war that ended with northern forces occupying
the region.

Sub Topics - which I hope can clear your doubts and answer
some of your questions. This is based on my personal
experience and may differ from others.
HEALTH CARE SYSTEM FOR WOMEN AND CHILDREN.
I will mainly discuss what I know and understand. As I
always mention in my previous notes, I'll cover about my
city - Tabqah and Raqqah as I'm not sure of any other
provinces.
-
If you have been diagnosed with any disease, let it be
whether you're under treatment\medication or not, please do
not forget to bring along all your documents and papers
including your medication so you can further the treatment
here, later.
-
If you are currently suffering from any sort of severe
symptoms, I would like to advice you to take a complete
check-ups including scans if it's necessary - since it would
be helpful.
We do have lists of investigation procedure but my sincere
advice would be to get it done before you travel.
-
For chronic diseases such as renal disease (and you're on
dialysis), I'm not sure about hemodialysis in local hospital
as it has been always the main target — I would advice you
to switch into peritoneal dialysis so you can get your
treatment done at home.
-
If you're on waiting list for cataract or any sort of
minor surgery, make sure you get it done first and explain
to your doctor that you're traveling to
"world-third-country". This to make sure that your doctor is
aware of the risk of infection and he/she will prescribes
you with broad-spectrum antibiotics.
-
For pregnant sisters, we have monthly ante-natal check-up
such as echo, blood test and urine test. You can either book
your ante-natal check up in clinic or in the hospital. You
don't have to buy or bring your supplements or folic acid
meds — it's available here.
-
If you're a mother and your child is currently under
vaccination — I'm sorry. Personally I never liked the idea
of vaccination so I have no idea about it. Few months ago,
we had 40 babies died due to vaccination that was given by
the UN - just a reminder.
-
The hospital runs as usual. The staffs are just as
amazing as everywhere else. We have surgeons and other
specialist too. As far I'm here, I have referred my
Muhajirah friends for appendicectomy, tonsillectomy and
thyroidectomy. All the OP went well.
-
Cesarean is very common here. So don't worry regarding
complicated pregnancy such as big babies or breech.
Conclusion : Al Hamdulillah - I can't brag they have the
best health system, but it's not as as messed-up as many
thinks about.
(This is from my personal experience. It may differ from
other Muhajirah).

Syria, Kobani.
Huge Surprise for US/Kurdish Alliance after Killing 70
Islamic State Fighters
October 19: As we go to the press, the Islamic State [IS] is
in control of more than half of the border city of Ain
al-Arab [known as Kobani to the Kurds]. Not only are the
Islamic fighters deep in the city, but are firing mortar
shells at the border crossing into Turkey from where
supplies for the ypg [Communist Kurds] have been coming in.
Some shells landed in Turkey. [Turkey has admitted that
those Kurds who fled to Turkey have the right to back to
Kobani, obviously to fight.].
During the week under review, October 12 to 19, the US air
armada carried out the most ferocious bombing of IS targers
which has can only be compared to "Shock and Awe" against
President Saddam Hussain and Tora Bora against Shaykh Osama
bin Laden.
Bombing was most severe on October 14 with 21 air strikes
with bombs so big that the explosions showed up as mushroom
clouds. The Islamic casualties were heavy, 70 killed. The
bodies have been taken to a nearby town.
The bombing provided cover for support to be brought in to
the Kurdish Communists but, more seriously, THREE BRIGADES
of FSA fighters [trained in Jordan and Saudi Arabia by the
Americans] were brought into the defense of Kobani. [FSA are
secularized Syrians supporting the US.]
[The three brigades were mentioned only in passing by the
BBC and various news services.]
After October 12, the Islamic fighters seem to have
understood the US pattern of bombing. They would withdraw
and the US would bomb and bomb, plastering those areas of
Kobani were IS was supposed to be entrenched. The next day
the IS would re-emerge and continue their house by house
advance. At one point it appeared that the Kurds and the
bombing were forcing IS to retreat from the entire city.
Not only IS refused to withdraw from the city but evaded US
bombing cleverly enough to bring in its own reinforcements
from Raqqa 60 miles away. Islamic fighters and even their
families wanted to go in and fight the Communists. OAP
reports that a 15 year old insisted on going with his father
and was killed in the bombing.
IRAQ
Baghdad Surrounded from three sides as IS advances: Kurdish
forces blocked.
According to US news sources and wire services, the Islamic
State forces have gradually created a cordon around Baghdad.
Shia forces armed by the US and militias armed by Iran are
going out of Baghdad to fight the Islamic forces. At one
point the Shia militia forced ISIS who had crossed the river
to retreat, They and the Sunni population went with them and
then blew up the bridge. [Detailed reporting by Ben Wedeman
on CNN on October 17.]
On Ocober 18, Iraqi military tried to advance on Fallujah
but was beaten back. In the north too where Peshmarga had
taken the border crossing of Rabia, ISIS has fought the
Kurds to a stand still.
IS is softening up Baghdad with martyrdom operators and car
bombs with ongoing casualties. American jet bombers with
help from Saudi, UAE and Bahraini jets are bombing advancing
IS units, forcing them to spread out and advance in
scattered formations.
EGYPT
Attacks in the Sinai on troops Guarding the pipeline to
Israel
On October 19, Reuters reported that 7 Egyptian troops were
killed and 6 wounded in an attack by the mujahideen using a
remote controlled bomb which destroyed the armored vehicle
the troops were using. Two of those killed were
officders.
Earlier on October 16, an attack on police killed 2
officers. An rpg was used in the attack.
Both attacks were on forces guarding the pipeline to
Israel.
Speaking to Reuters, a spokesman of Ansar Bayt al-Maqdis
which is resisting General Sissi, said that the group is
becoming more effective after getting instructions from
IS.
Our America
Scholar, teacher: Stripped Naked, Forced to Desecrate the
Qur'an. Horrific Injustice. Why Was Aafia Siddique's Appeal
Withdrawn?
by Sis. Karin Friedemann [Boston]
"With the attention and celebration that greeted the
selection of Pakistan's Malala Yousafzai and India's Kailash
Satyarthi for the world's most coveted peace prize, one
would think that the American establishment has a special
regard for young, accomplished (and committed) Muslim women.
An honest review of the record would show that quite the
opposite is true," writes Mauri Saalakhan of the Peace and
Justice Foundation. "While Malala Yousafzai is being
celebrated for her accomplishments and yet unfulfilled
future potential, Aafia Siddique is wasting away in a
maximum security prison cell on a military base in the land
of 'liberty and justice for all!'"
On October 9, 2014, Dr. Aafia Siddique's family issued an
announcement that US District Judge Richard Berman, without
any warning, had ordered the case closed for the appeal of
her conviction.
Aafia's sister, Dr. Fowzia Siddiqui told Al-Jazeera that she
is convinced that "coercion tactics" were used to make her
withdraw her appeal because according to their last
communication, Aafia said she was "determined to fight her
case."
Aafia, who is being held in solitary confinement, has not
been allowedphone calls to her family in Pakistan since
initiating her appeal.
"We have not been allowed [in-person contact] with her at
any time. There is a prison rule that she gets to speak to
family for 300 minutes per month - as long as the family
pays for the call. We did get that order, and the only time
that was implemented was when there were worldwide
demonstrations - at those times there were calls. But since
filing the appeal they have kept Aafia completely
incommunicado," stated her sister.
"This is not Aafia's decision. I know because my last
conversation with her was that she was visited [in her
dreams] by our prophet Muhammad, saw, and he was pleased
with my efforts and the appeal. She said it is for this
reason I consent, and if we don't connect again DO NOT
believe any statement to the contrary on my behalf."
"Since then we have had absolutely no contact with her. I
know she did not withdraw of her own free will. She has been
coerced. God knows how much torture [she's been forced to
endure], complete solitary and manipulations.... It
horrifies me to even think about what she has been forced to
go through."
Previous reports about her treatment at Carswell included
stripping her naked and forcing her to walk on the Quran in
order to be allowed to attend hearings - one reason she has
held back from the appeal until receiving spiritual
permission. Therefore it makes no sense that Aafia would
withdraw her appeal now. She has nothing to lose by
appealing.
Reuters reports that Aafia wrote a statement, "I refuse to
participate in this system of total injustice that has
punished and tortured me repeatedly, and continues to do so,
without my having committed a crime." She wrote that she
wanted to be sent home to Pakistan through diplomacy, not
through the legal system.
The openly hostile judge, the very same judge who sentenced
her in early 2010, is reported to have ordered the case
closed. Even if the appeal had continued, he likely would
have ruled against her, he said. The Nation, Pakistan,
reported that US District Judge Richard Berman stated he had
"allowed" Dr. Aafia Siddiqui to withdraw what could be the
last appeal of her conviction on charges of attempted
murder. Berman claimed that Siddiqui, who is serving an
86-year sentence in a prison medical centre in Texas, had
'clearly and unequivocally' stated her intent to end the
appeal.
According to Salman Khan of the Free Aafia Movement, the
ruling came as a shock as they had hoped that the
application for a retrial would receive a fair judgment.
Despite vehement attempts to protest his inclusion, he said
they were unable to have him removed from proceedings.
"Just to reopen the trial costs $150,000, and then to remove
him it would have cost us a further $100,000," Khan
said.
In 2003, Aafia was wanted by the FBI for questioning for
possible ties to al Qaeda and was detained by Pakistani
authorities. This tiny woman was named as one of the FBI's
most wanted "terrorists." She was handed over to US agents
and held incommunicado in Afghanistan for five years.
Siddiqui was never charged with links to terrorism. The FBI
agents, US soldiers and interpreters said that as they were
about to interrogate her at an Afghan police compound in
Ghazni, Afghanistan, she supposedly grabbed a rifle and
began shooting at them. None of them were wounded, but she
was shot in the abdomen when they "returned fire." At her
trial, Aafia's lawyer argued that there was no evidence the
rifle had been fired. No bullets, shell casings or bullet
debris were recovered.
Before the US brought her captive to the US, Siddiqui's
family says Aafia was raped and tortured at the US
military's Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan. Aafia has become
a popular figure in her home country of Pakistan, which has
influenced a wide variety of Islamic fighting groups to
attempt to win her release. It is hard to think of any other
woman in the world who is so deeply loved by millions of
people around the world.
In 2011, Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan took a Swiss couple
hostage and said they could be freed if Siddiqui were
released. In Afghanistan, the Taliban asked for her release
as part of a deal to free US Army Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl.
ISIS proposed swapping American journalist James Foley for
her, but the US refused and allowed his execution.

The khutba at the mosque by an Arab brother was about the
life after death when one is in the grave. Very eloquent. It
was connected to the funeral of a young man at the
mosque..
UNIVERSITY of DELAWARE after Juma: It was "Homecoming," so
the streets were crowded. The university is almost all
White. Crowds of young women, more than half naked, some
with their boy friends. The skirts have become so small that
they are like underwear.
Also, there were Muslim women, students, all wrapped up in
beautiful hijab. Quite a contrast. May Allah bless the
hijabis. They were walking in groups.
There are two restaurants which attract Muslims, one
Bangladeshi buffet and one Pakistani. Both good quality
though the Pakistani one looks disorganized. A hijabi woman
runs the Bangladeshi one.
Dr. Omar Abdel Rahman: Hafiz-e-Qur'an. Top Islamic Scholar
in Prison: America's Shame
by Nadrat Siddique
October is the month that Dr. Omar Abdel Rahman, Ph.D from
Al-Azhar and hafiz-e-Qur'an (he memorized the Qur'an by age
11) was convicted on bogus terror charges.
Blind, diabetic, and a non-English-speaker, he has
languished in prison for 19 years. He was convicted on
absurd conspiracy charges, based almost entirely on the word
of very highly paid informants, in what is believed to have
been a favor by the U.S. government to the Mubarak
regime.
A leading critic of the Egyptian dictatorship of the time,
his words have since been echoed by leading figures of the
Arab Spring, and accepted by many U.S. politicians. In his
first public speech, Egyptian President Muhammad Morsi vowed
to bring Dr. Abdel Rahman home. However, the Hafiz-e-Qur'an
remains a political prisoner, while his limbs are in danger
of being lost to diabetic gangrene.

American rabbi calls for all-out war against Islam, 'to
exterminate it, utterly and absolutely'
A Jewish rabbi Shalom Lewis from Congregation Etz Chaim in
the Atlanta suburb of Marietta, Georgia, called in his
sermon celebrating the Jewish new year for genocide of all
Muslims and a total global war against Islam worldwide,
according to the website Mondoweiss.
At the same time, the Jew named Shalom Lewis said that it
was time for a "holy crusade" against Islam "to exterminate
it, utterly and absolutely".
The website reminds that 3 years ago, this same rabbi
demanded to finish off Islam, once and for all. The website
notes that the Jew openly calls for the mass murder of all
Muslims, and not only "Islamists" or "terrorists". He
believes that "all Muslims are guilty". "Most Muslims are
not terrorists - but it does not matter", said the Jew.
"There are one billion Muslims in the world and authorities
agree that 5% are committed Islamists who embrace terror and
wish to see, by any means possible, the Muslim flag flying
over every capital, on every continent. Thanks Jehovah, it's
only 5%. Now I could sleep soundly. But wait, let me figure
this out, 5% of a billion is... 50 million Koran-waving,
Allah Akbar-howling Muslim murderers out there planning to
slit our throats, blow us up or forcibly convert us... ",
the rabbi scared his flock.
"Geneva is over. We are all on the front lines, like it or
not. The battlefield has no boundaries and the war, no
rules. All are vulnerable, and so we must recalculate our
strategy, re-examine our tolerance, re-energize our resolve
and unequivocally identify the evil doers. Let us not be
silenced by meaningless rhetoric", called Shalom Lewis.
According to the Jew, "Israel" today is at the forefront of
the democratic world and "is fighting for all of us - for
our values, for our principles, for our civilization. God
bless Israel and God bless the United States of America",
rabbi pathetically said.
In his sermon, the Jew also scared Europe where "Muslims
start feeling at home".
"They are not interested in respecting great democracies of
Europe. They want the Sharia law and Islamic culture to be
ascendant, and with their birthrate, the ballot box and
their disdain for the West, in time they will get it...",
the rabbi threatened.
"We love ethnic communities. Chinatown, Little Odessa, Greek
town, Little Havana, Lower Eastside, Little Italy, but what
is spreading across Europe is not charming, quaint
neighborhoods enjoyed by locals and camera toting tourists
in search of a charming restaurant. These are beachheads for
invasion", declared Shalom Lewis.
"The Muslims are coming. The Muslims are coming!", he
threatened in his sermon, calling for all-out global war on
Islam.

Police Barged into their home: Ongoing Oppression: A
sample
[Via Nadrat Siddique]
Michael Wiggins-Bey and his wife Annette Berry are members
of the Moorish Nation. They were living peacefully in the
Parkville home they have inhabited for two years, when
without warning, on May 15, 2014, 6 - 7 Baltimore County
police broke their door down and unlawfully entered the
premises. Michael was beaten, tazed, and had a police dog
sicked on him. Annette was also beaten. They were locked up,
but later released on condition they not return to their
home.
As a result, they... have been effectively homeless
(relatives took them in) for months. They have no access to
their possessions, including cell phones, laptops, and other
items needed to launch an effective defense.
Michael has been charged with 17 counts: These include
burglary (of his own home), theft (of his own property),
numerous counts of assault (of the officers who assaulted
him); animal cruelty (for attempting to fend off the German
Shepherd- police dog which was biting him); and other bogus
counts. Annette faces 5 counts, including assault (again-
of the officers who assaulted her). This page will be used
to provide updates on their case, as well as to rally
support for them as their trial date approaches. Currently,
the next hearing is set for October 21.
