Breaking News: July 26. [Situation by 1 AM Egyptian time
July 27.]
Huge Islamic Rallies Support Morsi, Counter
Sisi-Mubarak-Baradei pro-West Crowds
Tahrir Square is full of the military's organized rally.
These are basically ousted tyrant Mubarak's supporters. At
mosques in Cairo and around the country, hundreds of
thousands are protesting against General Sisi's coup and
supporting the Muslim Brotherhood and President Morsi.
General Sisi's plan that his secular crowds would drown out
the Islamic rallies has failed miserably. Even without TV
coverage, radio reports indicate that the Muslims are
supporting Morsi and condemning Sisi as a traitor and agent
of Israel. Sisi is now desperate and is accusing President
Morsi of breaking out of jail with the help of Hamas, a
bogus story, one of many the military is putting out.
As the pictures on western TV screens show, the Tahrir
Square rally is a show enacted by the military and Mubarak's
gangsters, with full TV coverage and fireworks, just like a
July 4th celebration in America. Helicopters and planes
flying above!
In Alexandria, the Mubarak' gangs are quite violent and have
killed five Muslims..
Earlier on July 23, Mubarak's military backed gangsters
attacked unarmed Morsi supporters killing 11 people at
Cairo University. Earlier still the military killed 51
Morsi supporters at Fajr prayers.
Meanwhile the Salafis who earlier opposed Morsi under Saudi
influence are supporting the Muslim Brotherhood as the hand
of the military became clear.
Muslim Brotherhood is unarmed and peaceful but mujahideen
groups in the Sinai are challenging the military's power.
After a series of mujahideen attacks in the Sinsi on Sisi's
military, Israel has agreed to let Egypt send two more
battalions into the Sinai. [New Trend has a report
indicating that Sisi informed Israel several days before the
coup. He is a traitor without a doubt. Readers can get a
copy of the report from New Trend.]
Thank you Muslim sister:
Congratulations to Mona al-Qazzaz, Muslim Brotherhood's
hijabi representative, who calmly destroyed the arguments of
the army coup supporters in Egypt, in an interview on
CNN.

Iraq: Al-Qaida trying to Topple the US-Installed Regime
July 21: Organized attacks on prisons in Taji and the Abu
Ghraib [the notorious prison]
led to the biggest prison breaks in history. Between 5000
and 7000 prisoners were freed including more than a 100
Al-Qaida fighters who had been sentenced to death. The
Baghdad regime admits only 500 escaped. Abu Ghraib prison
was set on fire.
Al-Qaida attacks are becoming daily events. In the attack on
July 25, at Mosul, 9 police of the Baghdad regime were
killed and 2 wounded. Wide areas of Iraq are reported to be
under al-Qaida's control from where Iraqis are helping the
Syrians fighting against Assad.
The regime commits atrocities against Sunnis which makes the
situation worse.
Breaking News #3
Syria: Islamic victory secures Western areas of Aleppo
province
On July 23, Islamic fighters secured the western entry point
to Aleppo known as Khayr al-Assari. Heavy fighting involved
both Assad's Alawite troops and Iranian forces who are now
on the retreat.
On July 22 Islamic fighters enlarged their control south
east of Aleppo by capturing the villages of Obeida and
Hajrah. However, the Islamics allowed food to be taken to
one of Assad's left over forces in a corner of Aleppo who
are besieged.
On July 25, a bomb attack in the Jaramana district of
Damascus killed 7 and wounded 62 of the Druze supporting
Assad.

Three Key decisions by Abu Bakr, r.a., the First Caliph of
Islam
Rulers are not above the Sunnah of Muhammad, pbuh. Equality
is Islamic.
-
"O people, I have been made the protector of your matters
though I am not better than you, but the Qur'an has been
revealed and the Sunnah of the Prophet has been established.
He taught us and we gained knowledge. O people, I am a
follower of the Prophet, not an innovator. If I do good,
help me. If I go wrong, straighten me out. " [Abu Bakr,
r.a., text in Tabaqat of ibn Sa'ad, Vol. 1, p.129,
translated from Urdu.]
Do not place graves in mosques: reject grave worship
-
When the Prophet, pbuh, passed away, the question arose
where he should be buried. Some said he should be buried in
the mosque, others said he should be buried with the sahaba,
r.a., who had passed away. Abu Bakr, r.a., quoted the words
of the Prophet, pbuh, himself and accordingly this hadith
determined the most important burial in the history of
Islam. Abu Bakr, r.a., said: "I heard the messenger of
Allah, pbuh, say, "where a prophet's soul is taken away,
that's where he is buried." [ Sunan of Ibn Maja, kitab
al-Janaiz.] So the prophet's, pbuh, bedding was picked up
and his grave was dug right there.
No concentration of wealth in ruler's family.
-
After the Prophet, pbuh, passed, his daughter Fatima,
r.a., came and demanded that the Caliph Abu Bakr, r.a., give
her the inheritance from her father. In reply Abu Bakr,
r.a., quoted the Prophet, pbuh: "Our inheritance is not
distributed. Whatever we leave is sadaqa charity for
everyone." Abu Bakr, r.a., added: However, the family of the
Prophet, pbuh, can eat and drink from the inheritance. By
Allah, I will not change the sadaqa charities the messenger
of Allah used to give and I will do in this matter what the
messenger of Allah, pbuh, used to do." [ Sahih of Bukhari,
kitab al-Maghazi, section on battle of Khaybar.]

A Reminder from Nadrat Siddique
Destruction of Red Mosque and Hafsa Women's Seminary
Indicated US takeover of Pak Military
July 2007 marks the anniversary of the siege of Lal Masjid
(Red Mosque) in Islamabad, Pakistan. The Musharraf
government, an overt puppet of the U.S., labeled its
opponents, who were based out of the mosque and an adjoining
madrassa, with the usual pejoratives. Then they moved to
eliminate them. The mosque was attacked with tanks and heavy
weaponry, as the government tried to force a surrender. In
the process, the mosque leader, Abdurrashid Gazi (shaheed)
and his mother were murdered by puppet Paki army fire.
Pakistan: Nawaz Sharif decided to continue the war in the
north: July 23, 2013.
Malala was used to cover up the Suffering of Islamic women.
Here is the sequence of events.
by Kaukab Siddique, PhD
Benazir Bhutto and Nawaz Sharif were supported by the US but
General Musharraf reversed the roles and opened up Pakistan
to help the American takeover. His military benefited
greatly as he removed potential supporters of "political
Islam" from the military.
When the US invaded Afghanistan to take revenge for the
mujahideen attacks on 9.11, General Musharraf sent his
troops in large numbers into the frontier areas to seal off
support for the Taliban who were very popular among
Pakistani masses.
About 100,000 of Pakistan's troops were withdrawn from the
border with India and placed on the Afghan border. In the
fighting which followed about 3,000 Pakistani troops and
5,000 Pakistani tribesmen were killed.
The FBI set up headquarters in Islamabad and operated in
Pakistan and entered Pakistani homes with the cooperation of
Pakistani intelligence services. This situation became very
clear in the search for the killers of Daniel Pearl, the
Israeli who entered Pakistan with a US passport.
Musharraf was so emboldened by the lack of resistance by the
Pakistani population that he decided to tackle the only
source of Islamic resistance which was in Islamabad itself:
The Red Mosque. Here a firebrand preacher Abdur Rasheed
Ghazi had organized a seminary for Islamic women which
attracted several thousand young women and girls some of
whom were survivors of the devastating earthquake in the
north.
Jamia Hafsa, the women's seminary named after the daughter
of the second Caliph, Umar ibn al-Khattab, r.a., decided to
carry out an Islamic cleansing campaign against Musharraf's
corruption within Islamabad, It was an entirely peaceful
movement but the women would carry long sticks known as
lathis to keep predatory males away who often want to prey
on defenseless women in Pakistan. The Hafsa women would go
to stores selling porno movies or semi-nude films or erotic
songs and remind the owners of the Hereafter and the Fear of
Allah. Some of this preaching, which would attract crowds,
was successful. One shop owner took out all his videos and
movies, put them on the sidewalk and set them on fire. [This
was presented by the BBC as "militant Islamic women
snatching tapes and setting them on fire."]
Then the girls and women in burqa found that a procuress was
being used to provide women to Musharraf's officials right
in Islamabad under Musharraf's nose. The girls complained to
the regime and met a stony silence. Then they started
preaching to the procuress, telling her that she was
violating God's Law and threatening dire consequences. She
laughed at them and reminded them of her contacts with the
"higher ups" in the government. Finally they kidnaped her
and kept her quite unharmed till she signed a confession
naming her contacts and her activities.
The girls then went after the regime which was demolishing
mosques in areas through which Musharraf traveled out of
Islamabad. As part of their protests they took over a
library and would not leave.
The point the young women were making was that General
Musharraf was violating God's Law. He had no writ from the
people of Pakistan and no one had given him permission to
support the USA.
At the instigation, it said, of the US and Israel, Musharraf
started conducting raids on the Red Mosque and Jamia Hafsa.
Some of these attacks were terrifying but they had the
opposite effect. The young men in the Red Mosque [Lal
Masjid] armed themselves.
Abdur Rasheed Ghazi's sermons in the Red Mosque were
bringing support from the oppressed people of Pakistan. To
counter him, the regime brought the Imam of the Ka'aba who
imputed that these activities of young women were unIslamic
and they should not be coming out of their school. Abdur
Rasheed Ghazi, who knew several languages including Arabic,
was not impressed by the Imam of the Ka'aba and gave
blistering khutbas to counter the Saudi move.
Gradually the regime tightened the police and then military
encirclement of the Red Mosque and Jamia Hafsa. Musharraf
got in touch with the religious establishment and learned
that the maulvies felt threatened by the development of a
mosque in which women played a central role. Musharraf also
fooled the Muslim political parties to hold a meeting in
London during which time he launched his military offensive
against the Red Mosque and Jamia Hafsa.
The people supporting Abdur Rasheed said they had the right
to have light sweapons to defend the mosque from physical
attack. When one of Musharraf's elite commando officers
broke into the women's seminary by breaching its wall, he
was killed.
Musharraf could have starved the people in the mosque into
submission. Instead he decided on a full scale military
invasion. The young people resisted with their small arms
but were slaughtered by Musharraf's elite forces using heavy
weapons. Even phosphorous was used and among those killed by
this forbidden explosive was Abdur Rasheed Ghazi's mother.
He went down fighting. May Allah grant him jannat
al-Firdous.
AFTERMATH
It took Pakistani political parties quite a while to realize
what had happened, that in the capital city of a country
founded on Islam, a city named Islamabad, military force was
used to destroy a mosque and a seminary full of ba-hijab
Islamic women.
But the people of Frontier understood what had happened. Red
Mosque and Jamia Hafsa's tragic end ignited the pro-Sharia
movement which was against a secular Pakistan, The Sharia
movement had been there for years but now it took specific
form. Huge crowds came out to support Maulvi Fazlullah and
others organized the peaceful takeover of the beautiful area
known as Swat. Sharia courts were set up to quickly settle
disputes which had been in the secular courts for years. The
message of the Red Mosque spread like a wild fire in all
areas of Frontier province.
An organization which emerged, though it is a collection of
many groups, is now famous or notorious as the Tehreeke
Talibane Pakistan [TTP] mostly from the poor masses and
peasants.
When the movement reached Buner, the US complained to
Pakistan that the Islamics were now only 76 miles from
Islamabad. CNN and the entire US media took this rheme of
"great danger" to civilization. The Pakistani military then
did to Swat what it had done earlier to the Red Mosque and
Jamia Hafsa. The ENTIRE POPULATION of Swat was evicted to
create a free fire zone for the military. Anyone who
remained could be killed. In the intense fighting which
followed thousands of Pakistani troops, civilians and
mujahideen were killed. The military killed at least 30,000
people including 3,000 mujahideen and lost 6,000 or more
troops.
There are mass graves in the area where the army has carried
out "extra judicial executions."
The people were up in arms [small arms] all over Frontier
province. The regime went after them, cuttingn off food
supplies using air strikes and heavy artillery. Maulvi
Fazlullah was trapped and barely escaped across the Frontier
into Afghanistan where the Taliban are successful. The army
destroyed medressas and mosques run by Fazlullah and the Pak
Taliban but were not able to silence his short wave radio
which had a large audience of women.
The army then went into Hangu, Adam Khel, Khyber and finally
South Waziristan. America was insistinf that it should go
into North Waziristan also but protests by Jamaate Islami
stopped it. The Tehreeke Talibane Pakistan [TTP] has not
only survived but seems to have infiltrated into various
parts of the "settled" areas of Pakistan, especially Punjab.
Their methods are often quite brutal but not anywhere near
the methods of the army. It has now many branches, one of
the most notorious being "Punjabi Taliban" who terrified
General Kayani [Musharraf's clone] by attacking the military
headquarters in Rawalpindi.
The way to peace in Pakistan is by way of communication with
the "militants." If they want Shari'a, why not withdraw the
army, let independernt media go in and let them have Sharia.
Now that Imran Khan's party and Jamaate Islami have won
seats in Frontier areas during the recent elections, the
chances for peace are brighter.
However, Nawaz Sharif is following the American line: Peace
with India, war with his own people.

tendency finally ended a career which had started in 1943
and made her one of the best known journalists in

Weiner, Spitzer .....
Sense of Power over women or Just a Jewish Thing? A "Muslim"
woman? Huma Abedin speaks.
From New Trend's media monitor.
July 23: Anthony Weiner [Democrat of New York] is once more
in the news. Remember he was caught sending out pictures of
his sexual organ on the Internet? He resigned from Congress
but now he is doing it again and to pre-empt the story he
held a press to admit that he has been sending out nude
pictures of himself to a 22 year old woman. This could
influence his position in the New York mayoral race.
His wife stood by him, supporting him with cute smiles. Her
name is Huma Abedin, in other words a Muslim at least in
name. Her marriage to a Jew is HARAM in Islam. Its a serious
violation amounting to apostacy. Earlier she worked for
Hillary Clinton when right wingers charged that Muslim
Brotherhood had infiltrated the US top leadership!
Huma Abdein said about her Jewish husband" "I believe in
him."
That's the kind of thinking on Islam which goes on in
America.
The right wingers also claimed that Sharia was going to be
imposed in America. [Help!]
Earlier, Spitzer, Governor of New York state resigned when
he was found to have been using state funds for the favotrs
of a high class prostitute, $4000 an hour. His poor wife
stood by him.
The corruption at the top became the talk of the town when
years backPresident Clinton had himself "serviced" by a
Jewish woman in the Oval Office. Hillary Clinton stood by
him like Huma Abedin and has been part of the American
leaders' exploitation of the defenseless American people.

Kuwaiti Sulaiman Abu Ghaith in New York Court
Iran Detained him for 10 Years in Collusion with the US.
Kidnaped, Tortured by US.
Non-Violent "Crime." Spoke in Support of Osama and 9.11
Attacks.
Sheik Osama bin Laden's son-in-law on Friday asked a New
York court to throw out terrorism charges against him,
partly on the grounds he had been tortured on the flight
that brought him to the United States.
In a motion seeking the dismissal of the case, lawyers for
former al-Qaeda spokesman Sulaiman Abu Ghaith also claimed
US officials had colluded with Iran over his detention there
for more than a decade after the 9/11 attacks.
The move marks the first salvo of a landmark legal battle in
which Abu Ghaith's lawyers will seek to challenge the US
government's conduct in the "war on terror."
Prosecutors declined to comment on the dismissal motion.
They have three weeks to respond, and the judge then has two
weeks to set a date for a ruling or a hearing on the issues
raised.
Abu Ghaith was kidnapped by US agents in Jordan at the end
of February and flown to New York. He was indicted on March
1 on a single count of conspiracy to kill US nationals.
Abu Ghaith, a 47-year-old Kuwaiti national, is best-known
for his incendiary statements alongside bin Laden and Ayman
al-Zawahiri in the immediate aftermath of 9/11.
In a speech cited by the US government indictment, Abu
Ghaith only defended the attacks as hundreds of millions
people worldwide do and warned Americans the "storms shall
not stop, especially the airplanes storm."
The defence team argues Abu Ghaith has effectively been
declared guilty -- on the basis of his "mere association"
with bin Laden -- of a crime that carries a maximum sentence
of life imprisonment.
They deny that his fiery rhetoric reflects direct
involvement in any plot to kill Americans.

*Canada allows spy agency to use information obtained

22 Jul 2013 Canada has given
the country's spy agency permission to use information
extracted from suspects through torture, despite claims that
it would never use such data, Press TV reports. Canada's
intelligence services, including the Communications Security
Establishment Canada (CSEC), have recently been given an
annual budget of about *400 million to use and share
information extracted through the use of torture, despite
the Canadian government saying it does not condone such
acts. In a directive, issued in December 2010, the Canadian
Security Intelligence Service was given permission to employ
such information in cases where it claimed 'public safety is
at stake'. The move is part of a broader, 'Five Eyes'
intelligent sharing network involving the United States,
Britain, Australia and New Zealand.
Our Mexico
IN MEXICO, WE DEMAND BLACK INVESTIGATION IN YOUNG MALCOM X
DEATH
by S. Green
Greetings Family, It's not only honorable but also we must
be driven by virtue US the Conscious Black (or the so-called
Black People) alive in the world today to understand clearly
the gravity and magnitude of the circumstances that led to
Malcom Shabazz Latif's violent assassination
-
Possible Racism,
-
Possible Assassination,
-
Possible Genocide to Annihilate the Black Race as they
did to the American Indians,
-
Crime
Malcolm Shabazz Hajj's death, still, becomes a monumental
reference point (as many of the likes of Martin Luther King
have been) to what we face now and later as black people
especially when our promising leaders are laid to waste, as
here.
We are numbed by the facts that follow. Silence.
WHY BOTH THE GOVERNMENTS OF UNITED STATES AND THE GOVERNMENT
OF MEXICO REMAIN SILENT ABOUT:
-
Mexico: A FOREIGNER HAS BEEN MURDERED ON THEIR SOIL but
show SERIOUS LACK of TRANSPARENCY. They have assaulted
peaceful demonstrators and disbanded the efforts.
-
USA, LACK OF INTEREST IN THE MURDER OF THEIR CITIZEN IN
ABROAD,
-
DEATH OF A SON OF A GREAT LEADER IN WORLD HISTORY RECORDS
AND FAILURE OF HONORING MALCOLM X IN SUCH A TRYING TIME,
-
WHAT MOTIVATED THEM TO MURDER A RIGHTEOUS MAN, MEETING
SUCH A VIOLENT END,
and
-
ARE WE SAFE AS PERSONS OF AFRICAN ORIGINS LIVING IN
MEXICO?
To this, we add WHY the failure of black leaders to
intervene WITH FULL FORCE in persuading the undercurrents
that are eroding SECURITY OF our state as black people
worldwide. In Mexico, we are faced with critical challenges
set along these lines each day. I'm led to believe that
every Blackman or woman walks on these edges each day. Where
do we go from here?
This death machine is bigger than we are as people,
INDIVIDUALLY it seems because after 500 + years, we have not
moved an inch towards true human civilization.
We call upon Cynthia McKinney and other leaders in her
light, being advocates and a friend of this movement in
general to come in person to Mexico and help unravel the
facts before they are buried too deep. We call on all Black
people to realize this and act according to capacity with
their individual reach, be it SIGNING PETITIONS.
We call on world individuals that are concerned with these
issues TO MOVE swiftly in confronting these demons that
affect our daily lives and well-being on earth.

Iran's Hand in US Occupation of Islamic lands. Now Iraqi
Shias want USA Back.
With violence rising, some Iraqi leaders who bade America
good riddance in late 2011 are now asking Washington for
help. "The Iraqis sort of kicked us out," says Katzman. "A
lot of the [security] programs we hoped to continue, they
basically discontinued. Now the Iraqis are getting nervous
because of AQI, and they want us back again."
Could it happen? Last month, Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman
Martin Dempsey did suggest that the U.S. consider sending
"teams of trainers" to help Iraq fend off what he called a
"re-emerging" al-Qaeda threat.
But while it's possible the U.S. will offer help at the
margins, Iraqis shouldn't expect an American cavalry.
Leaving Iraq is one of Barack Obama's proudest
accomplishments, and the President clearly has no desire to
undo it — possibly even at the cost of seeing Iraq slip back
into chaos.

RE: Asqfish visit to Cairo
Disrespectful Behavior of Upper Class Egyptian Women even in
Mosques.
I just read the report on Asqfish visit to Cairo, Egypt. I
can relate to her frustrations with the disrespectful
behavior of the women in the mosques. Unbelievable!
When I worked at the hospital there was a mosque on the
second floor. There was a code the Muslims used to get
inside. There was a young sister, who worked in the hospital
lab, who would go into the mosque during her lunch break to
eat! Not pray, eat! She would also talk on the phone in her
language. I thought she might be Pakistani but, I was not
sure. I made comments to her about it before but, to no
avail. Afterwards, I would just ignore her, completely.
Never spoke to her out of disgust!
My feelings were that if she were in her country she
wouldn't act this way in the mosque but, I see from the
story that this is not true! I thought that Islam fell to
the wayside with Muslims engaging in such disrespectful
behavior because they were in America but, why would they
wait until they came here to behave that way. They started
behaving like this beforehand.
I love being in the mosque because it can be so silent it is
deafening. It is such a peaceful and relaxing environment.
Being around these "Muslims" is so frustrating!

Afghanistan:
A Slightly Funny Report: Entire Police force Captured.
New York Times. July 25
KABUL, Afghanistan — The few hundred people of Kala Khel, a
village in southern Afghanistan, on Thursday got some of the
best news they had heard all year: the entire Afghan Local
Police unit posted to the hamlet had disappeared the night
before, apparently betrayed by two of their own and abducted
by the Taliban.
The police, villagers said, had been beating people and
stealing from them nearly every day since they arrived five
months ago, and few in Kala Khel seemed sorry to see them
gone. "People are happy they have been kidnapped," said
Mahmadullah, a villager who uses a single name.
The abduction, and the villagers' apparent indifference to
the fate of the men, is another stormy chapter for the
Afghan Local Police. The militia force has found itself the
target of frequent Taliban attacks, as well as criticism
from human rights advocates and ordinary Afghans, who say
some of the militias are made up of nothing more than common
criminals, village toughs and sometimes even Taliban
sympathizers.
The American-led military coalition began raising the
militias three years ago to protect remote villages and, it
was hoped, give Afghans a stake in fighting the Taliban. In
some areas, the militias have indeed given the fight a local
imprimatur, persuading villagers to stop aiding the
insurgents and start helping Afghan and coalition
forces.
Elsewhere, though, the local police have earned a thuggish
reputation. That appears to have been the case in Kala Khel,
where the local 14-man unit was sent to protect a stretch of
unpaved road that bisects the village, in Zabul
Province.
The officers arrived five months ago and quickly began to
take what they wanted, bloodying anyone who got in their
way, villagers said. "They were not good — they are
illiterate and morally corrupt people," said Hajji Asham,
one of a handful of Kala Khel residents reached by phone on
Thursday.
The abuse worsened after the Taliban began attacking the
post, apparently using the village as a staging ground and
for cover.
Villagers said no one in Kala Khel aided the Taliban. But
the local police, perhaps not without reason, appear to
believe villagers did support the insurgents.
"Anytime they were attacked from anywhere within the
village, they would go there and beat people and confiscate
their belongings, especially motorcycles," Mahmadullah
said.
The latest beating was meted out on Wednesday, he said. The
victim was a farmer whose tractor accidentally collided with
a motorcycle ridden by a local policeman. After being
beaten, Mahmadullah said, the farmer was fined $30, a vast
sum for most Afghans.
One of the problems seems to have been that the local police
unit was made up of people from different areas of Zabul and
other provinces. In general, the most successful local
police units have often been drawn directly from the
villages they patrol.
Afghan officials said that they were investigating, and that
what exactly happened had not yet been determined.
Villagers said two policemen spiked the food of their 12
colleagues with crushed sleeping pills. The Taliban then
came in and took away the near-comatose men along with a
pair of police pickup trucks and all the weapons in the
post. The sleeping-pill ploy is often cited by Afghans in
cases of infiltration or betrayal, though hard evidence
backing it up is rarely produced.
The Taliban, for their part, claimed responsibility for the
abduction, which they said was aided by two
infiltrators.
Qari Yousuf Ahmadi, a Taliban spokesman, said the original
plan was to kill the policemen outright. But "the cowards
did not resist," he said, so the Taliban "blindfolded them
and led them away to a safe location."
He said the men would be tried under Islamic law and then
the Taliban would "punish them." He did not elaborate.
Pakistan
Army Assault on Islamic village: Retaliation on Shi'a
Village Supporting Army
On July 24, Pakistan launched air strikes and heavy
artillery attacks on a village in Bara area of Khyber near
Afghan border. Many were killed. Pakistan has collected the
bodies of 20 "Taliban suspects" [in the words of Dawn daily]
[in other words, civilians] after the bombardment.
On July 25 Shi'a village in Parachinar area near Afghanistan
was bombed by "suspected Taliban." Government sources say 39
were killed and 140 wounded.
[The government does not try to explain these attacks. An
investigation could reveal the army's use of Shi'ites to
track and kill Islamic opponents of the military.. editor]
