An American Muslimah re-arranges her life, with Muhammad, pbuh, as her
role model. Highly motivational. Please

Babar Ahmad, symbol of British oppression of Muslims, is about to be
extradited to the U.S. to face the oppression of Blair's pappy. Please
scroll all the way down

Smile a little: The diarrhea of censorship on TV
Watch the major media! It would seem that America has no one who can
discuss serious issues. No Islamic scholars, no African-American
intellectuals, no Whites like Ramsey Clark appear on the TV screens.
Ever seen
Dr. Abdulalim Shabazz
on TV? Instead you have the Zionists
INTERVIEWING EACH OTHER. These featherheads were supposed to be
entertainers and hosts. Now they pose as philosophers.
Glenn Beck rolls his eyes, shakes the folds of fat on his face, makes
stupid statements about Iran on CNN Prime. He gets promoted to be a
commentator on regular CNN! [His gem: Ahmedinejad is a dictator!]
Larry King has an hour all to himself and carefully leaves out Muslims and
African-Americans and anyone who would rock the Zionist boat. Glenn Beck
interviews Larry King!
Lou Dobbs [CNN's roly poly "I know it all" man] showed his hatred for
immigrants. Lo and behold! he was promoted to be a philosopher
about immigration.
It's a sign of our times that O'Reilly has the highest ratings. He brings
in the opposition, though only to knock them down. CNN pretends that there
is no opposition.
Watch what India and Israel are up to:
An Israeli military delegation led by Gen. Moshe Kaplinsky started a tour

PAKISTAN: The link between Hasan al-Banna and Quaid-e-Azam Mohamed Ali
Jinnah. One Islam, One Ummah.
New Trend has just received the May 2007 Special Issue of
Tarjumanul Qur'an, published in the Urdu language from Lahore,
Pakistan. It's a 401 page book in memory of the 100th anniversary of
Hasan al-Banna [shaheed] the founder of the original Ikhwan-ul-Muslimeen
[Muslim Brotherhood]. [Special edition by Abdul Ghaffar Aziz and Saleem
Mansoor Khalid under the supervision of Prof. Khurshid Ahmed and
Muslim Sajjad.]
The book is studded with gems of great value for readers interested in the
inside story of the Ikhwan. Of special interest are the letters which
al-Banna wrote to Mohammed Ali Jinnah, the founder of Pakistan, as well
as information on a meeting between the two. The most astonishing aspect
of the book is a photo of the Qur'an which al-Banna presented to Jinnah
and which is now available in a special collection at the Mausoleum of
Quaid-e-Azam in Karachi, Pakistan.

TOP NEWS: Hamas Victory: Israel's Hand Emerged Through Fatah but was
Broken. U.S. Islamic Leader calls for Trial of Dahlan
June 12-14, 2007. An all out battle between the Islamic resistance movement
Hamas and secularist Fatah has led to a complete Hamas victory. The last
strongholds of Fatah have fallen. Gaza is now in Islamic hands. On June
14, Fatah's central command center was captured. Mahmoud Abbas, backed
by Israel and Arab governments, is calling on his elite guard forces to
strike back in the West Bank.
The sputtering skirmishes between the two sides exploded into open battle
when Israel-backed elements in Fatah tried to kill the elected
Prime Minister of Palestine, Ismail Haniyeh, and to carry out a
coup against the elected government.
Ever since the Hamas election victory, Israel has consistently tried to
strangle the will of the Palestinian people. Gaza was turned into a
large concentration camp which the Israelis would enter at will to kill
Islamic activists and their families.
Meanwhile Israel pampered the criminal elements within Fatah and
organized and armed them. The U.S. gave $40 million to Fatah. When
Israel sensed that Hamas had been softened up, Islamic activists were
being killed without a Hamas response, Israel gave the go ahead signal
to Fatah criminal elements.
It was a serious mistake by Israel. The Islamic fighters, though
OUTNUMBERED 5 to 1, hit back and smashed Fatah's military capability
in only 4 days of heavy fighting.
Israel has suffered a serious setback.
One reason for the setback was that the saner elements within Fatah did
not support the attempted coup.
COMMITTEE to TRY Dahlan for crimes against Palestine:
Jamaat al-Muslimeen [USA] leader Imam Badi Ali has set up a
Committee to Try Dahlan, the Fatah leader who is alleged to be
working for Israeli intelligence [Mossad] and U.S. intelligence [CIA].
Dahlan is very seriously involved in carrying out the Israeli agenda
in Gaza.
Recently Dahlan was allowed to speak at length on Egyptian TV and radio
to do propaganda against Islamic movements. He claimed, for instance,
that a TV host on Al-Jazeerah was a member of the Muslim Brotherhood.
As a result the host was removed.
Imam Badi Ali points out that Egyptian intelligence services have been
active in helping Israeli attacks on Islamic activists in Gaza. Dahlan
should be put on trial to remove Israeli disruption within the
Palestinian communities, Imam Ali said.

June 10, 2007: Imam Warith Deen Umar as Example of Civil Resistance
During the anti-Israel demonstration in Washington, DC, a card produced
by Jamaat al-Muslimeen was distributed. It describes the attacks of the
U.S. government on Imam Warith Deen Umar, one of the most distinguished
imams in America.
First the Zionist-FBI regime tried to intimidate Imam Umar by raiding his
apartment in the Bronx and trashing his prayer area and desecrating
the Qur'an.
When the regime saw that it could not intimidate Imam Umar, it attacked
his home and tried to provoke him. The regime's bandits took dogs into
the Imam's Islamic home and tried to intimidate his wife and his daughter.
[We are continuing the distribution of this card. To help, write to the
Jamaat address, above, and send a donation for postage.]

Fishy "Attack on Shi'ite Shrine" Story: "Inside Job" Say First Reports:
Why Bush Worried? Sunni Mosques get no Publicity
From New Trend's Think Tank
June 13, 2007 First reports of the bombing of the Askari Shiite shrine in
Samarra, Iraq stated clearly that it must have been an inside job.
[Repeatedly mentioned on MSNBC Tv 8 to 10 AM Eastern Standard Time. Ten
security guards have been arrested]
The first reports added that the shrine had three rings of security:
Shi'ite troops inside the shrine, Shi'ite and Sunni troops outside, and
then an outer ring of U.S. troops. No infiltrator could possibly have
brought packages of dynamite inside the structure, attached them to the
minarets and then triggered the explosions WITHOUT ANYONE NOTICING. This
had to be an inside job.
The Shi'ite rulers installed by the U.S. in a fake "election" use these
provocations to carry out massacres of Sunnis, analysts say. In 2006,
nearly 100 Sunni mosques were attacked and 140 Sunnis killed. This time
too, hardly had the news come out when the Al-Ruba'i mosque, a major
Sunni mosque in eastern Baghdad, was set on fire. A smaller Sunni
mosque was also set on fire within the hour.
Curfew was supposedly imposed by the apostate al-Maliki but on June 14,
UNDER COVER OF CURFEW, 9 Sunni mosques were attacked.
The Zionist media faded out the first reports of an "inside job" and
proclaimed that this was an attack by Sunnis on Shias, "most probably
by al-Qaida militants." Till now there is no such evidence.
Our analysts say that the U.S. media conceal important facts about the
situation of mosques in Iraq:
Almost all Sunni mosques in western Iraq have either been destroyed or
desecrated by U.S. occupation forces. These include mosques in Fallujah,
Ramadi, Tal Afar, Haditha and other towns.
For a photo of U.S. troops, in battle gear, camping in a Sunni mosque, go
to our web site:
newtrendmag.org
,
click on NEWS, "Go to" PICTURES, #6.
During these years of desecration and destruction of mosques by the U.S.,
the Shi'ite leadership, including Iran and Sistani, kept quiet.
The U.S. government's immediately defends the Shi'ite shrine. Bush went
to the extent of mentioning it in his annual speech. This time too,
June 13, he specifically condemned the bombing. This gives the
impression that the U.S. is deliberately instigating the Shias and
giving them the "go ahead."
For the sake of peace, Shia leaders should condemn the bombing and
destruction of Sunni mosques by the U.S. and urge their reconstruction
by Shias and the U.S. Also, an international commission should be set
up to investigate the repeated bombing of the Samarra shrine.
Remember that the U.S. used artillery to damage the mausoleum of
Shaikh Abdul Qadir Gailani and the tomb of Imam Abu Hanifah. Then too,
the Shias did not restrain their American allies. In these graves, real
saints are buried while in the Shi'ite shrine there is no verifiable
evidence that any imam of the Shias is buried.
Iraqi Shi'ites committed a strategic error by siding with the U.S. in
its occupation of Iraq. Sistani seems to have no idea that he is on
the wrong side of history. Observers say, like his fellow sectarians
in the time of Mongol onslaught, he is supporting anti-Islam forces.
It's a blunder because the Islamic world is fighting the occupation
armies and there is no sign of retreat.
Letter: Re: Muslimah uncovers Informant in JFK plot.
When will the Muslims learn that all this entrapment was authorized by
U.S. Congress in 1974, and President Jimmy Carter initiated the first
notorious STING operation code-named ABSCAM conducted by the FBI on
February 2, 1980. Since that time the law enforcement folks have ruined
the lives of many a people, including many Muslims and one named John
Delorean by President Reagan and Margaret Thatcher, through DEA and FBI,
but finally he was acquitted by the jury in 1986. It ruined his marriage
and family with devastating effect. And did we forget the entrapment of
Matgaret Trudeau in a Disco Club in New York City to not only give a
bad name to Canadian Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau by ruining his
marriage too, in order to punish him for having friendly relations
with Cuban President Castro.

Letter: New Trend Accused of Name Calling: Re: Tariq Nelson
You undermine your critiques with name calling and inflammatory language.
You also seem to take statements out of context and then completely malign
the character of people. You also accuse people of working for Zionists or
buying into Zionist view point without evidence supporting the claim. One
example is that you accused Tariq Nelson of working for Zionists. What
evidence do you have for some claims? You did not produce any convincing
factual evidence. Instead you use the Z word to discredit any individual
you do not agree with.
It closes off any openess for exchange and dialogue. Also, I find that
labelling irresponsible and counterproductive. Do you understand that
accusing Muslims of being a Zionist supporter or spy can endanger
their lives?
The journal does not seem to be about reporting stories that are
overlooked in the Western media. That is where you could do the most
service to our community and it would be great if it did that.
Instead, the opinion pieces are often conflated with news pieces. What
seems to stand out the most is that your journal is about pressing a
singular view point, supporting conspiracy theories, and attacking
people whose political stances differ from yours. Sure you give them
a small space to response, then in the end your journal offers the
final word.

Letter: Re: Lieberman: Warmonger Calling for Attack on Iran:
U.S. Jews at Work
I think it should be pointed out that Joseph Lieberman is not only a
Congressman, he is also a trained rabbi. He is also a dual citizen of
Israel. I spoke with a woman that is in charge of people that mass on
Congressmen pertaining to issues about Israel. She confirmed this. So
it should be no surprise that Lieberman is in favor of turning Iran
into glass. These wars are about Israel, not Al Qaeda, terrorists, or WMD.
The woman that I met was in charge of a large group (mass) of people
that continually meet with every member of Congress when there is an
issue pertaining to Israel. They swarm the Hill not missing a beat when
there are issues that might hurt Israel, and reverse any bills or issues
that might be negative towards Israel. They try and persuade the Congress
to vote in favor of everything that would benefit Israel. I met this
woman while on vacation in the Dominican Republic. She was a converted
Jew, she said and her husband was Jewish. The point of this is that
the Jewish community in America, has loyalties to Israel-a foreign
country, over any loyalties to the U.S. They have their own government
in New York City, near the U.N., in which many members of Congress and
former Presidents have talked and made unconditional promises to back
Israel. This is common knowledge and reported repeatedly in the papers.

An American Muslimah re-Arranging her life
Why follow everything the Prophet [pbuh] did?
[Part I.]
by Sis. Rahgeer-e- Saleha
I am no expert yet this question has come up many a time from friends
and family.
The answer is of course in many places in the Qur'an. The succinct one
that comes to mind is in Surah Ale Imran: 31 Allah (swt) says " O Nabi
tell the people that if you truly love Allah then follow me in what I
do (i.e. Prophet Muhammad pbuh) and Allah will love you and will forgive
your mistakes as He (swt) is supremely Forgiving and Raheem"
But then the question, why not follow him only in his religious practices
why in everything he ate, did or did not do and in his daily behavior?
As I understand it, (please correct me if I am mistaken) Allah sent us
Prophet Muhammad (saw) for a reason. He was a human being who had human
needs and emotions. He could have sent us a saint or an angel who would
not have all the attributes and vulnerabilities of a human being.
He (SWT) did this so that we could follow the example of a human being
and learn how to live with all the daily challenges of life and yet be
subservient to Allah.
Since Islam is a way of life, Prophet Muhammad's (saw) way of living is
the way to emulate for a Muslim. Understanding each and every one of his
actions may become possible if one researches each aspect separately in
detail and with the most recent scientific resources. As it is almost
impossible for an average person to research all the sciences of food,
sleep, sociology, medicine and human behavior, many of Prophet
Muhammad's (saw) behaviors may be incompletely understood, or not
understood at all. Allah made it easy for an average person to get
closer to Allah by following Prophet Muhammad as everyone may not have
the ability to do all that research prior to understanding why. This
levels the playing field for all.
MY TAKE ON THIS:
Personally my "gegenhalten" attempts at following the Prophet have
resulted in the evolution of the positive aspects in my life. Even
though I have wanted to share these thoughts and feelings with you, I
have not been able to organize my thoughts well enough to express
them verbally.
I personally started my path to follow the actions of the Rasool
(pbuh) with Salah. This was something that the Prophet (saw) did
with love; it was his time with Allah. I on the other hand had always
done salah as something I crossed off my to do list as "done" so
that I could go on and do more fun stuff without feeling guilty. I stuck
it in between my other activities, which were a priority for me. At that
time of salah I may not have been dressed for it or in a mood for it
or in a place for it and it was more a necessary chore rather
than a priority.
The major difference in how I did Salah before and now was a
change in attitude:
-
Previously I did salah to get my credits up with Allah
-
Now I do it like a phone call to chat with Him (swt), tell him how I am
doing and ask him for advice and help (For advice He (swt) has commanded
us to go to His book or He guides me and makes the path easy to take)
-
Previously I fitted Salah when I could, in my daily activities
and many times it did not fit in my lifestyle, as I may be at a place
at Salah time where it was unclean, or public or noisy or not
conducive to making that phone call to Allah, or even if I did I could
not confide in Allah at that time.
-
Now I try to plan my day around Salah. I do my daily work
around Salah times. I try to make sure when I put on my
clothes in the morning that they are clean and tayyab and that
I would be able to pray in them and that I have appropriate head
covering, available. As an extra I have a small back pack ready at
all times in the car with my hijab, traveling prayer rug, a
compass, Tasbeeh and a small book of supplications. I really do
not need all of this, but if I am stuck waiting in line or in an office
or on the plane, I can read and memorize some new adkaars or do
Dhikr instead of reading something mindless to while away the time.
-
I accept my dinner invitations based on: before or after Maghrib, unless
I am sure I can pray where I am going, without tension.
-
Previously I could not wait to finish my prayers so that I could go do
what I needed or wanted to do
-
Now I look forward to my next prayer and feel forlorn, if I cannot pray
it at the optimal time (start of the prayer time).
[To be continued, inshallah.]

British Muslim of Pakistani Descent:
Symbol of British Oppression of Muslims,
may be extradited within days to the U.S.
Babar's father Ashfaq Ahmad Campaigning for his release
Preliminary Information:
Background
Babar Ahmad is a British citizen who was born and brought up in
South London.
In December 2003 he was arrested by Anti-Terrorist Police who broke
into his house in a pre-dawn raid. He was then brutally assaulted in
front of his wife. He sustained over 50 injuries to his body, two of
which were life-threatening. During this attack Babar was placed in
the prayer position and asked, "Where is your God now?"
After six days of intensive investigation he was released WITHOUT CHARGE.
Babar filed a complaint against the police officers who assaulted him.
Despite photographic evidence of his injuries, independent medical
reports and eye-witness statements, the Crown Prosecution Service
decided that there was "insufficient evidence" to prosecute any of
the officers involved.
On 5th August 2004 Babar was re-arrested on an Extradition Warrant from
the United States of America. He is currently held as a British Political
Prisoner at Woodhill Prison, Milton Keynes awaiting Extradition
proceedings to commence in November 2004.
These are the allegations now made against him.
The Objectives of this Website
Since his re-arrest Babar has been demonised in much of the media. In
Terrorism cases, the notion of "guilty until proven innocent" is commonly
applied and only one side of the story is portrayed.
This website is run predominantly by Babar's family to fulfill the
following objectives:
1) To act as an information resource providing case facts, excerpts of
legal documents and medical reports, photographs and news relating to
the case.
2) To humanise Babar Ahmad and to show him as a normal, professional
and kind human being rather than a "terrorist".
3) To enable the public to form a more balanced and fair opinion on
the case of Babar Ahmad.
Under the Extradition Act 2003 Babar cannot challenge any of the
"evidence" against him in a British Court of Law. As a British Citizen,
he should be entitled to an open fair trial in the UK. If he is
extradited to the US, he will face the same Human and Civil Rights
abuses that many experience at the hands of the US Government.
This website also contains information regarding the current UK
Anti-Terrorism Laws and how they affect Civil Liberties.
Campaign Supported by:
Stop Political Terror, Muslim Council of Britain, Islamic Human Rights'
Commission, Campaign Against Criminalising of Communities, Imperial
College Students' Union, Liberty, Muslim Association of Britain, The
1990 Trust, Respect, Islamic Shariah Council of Great Britain, Stop
the War Coalition, and many more organisations and individuals.
