BRIEF ANALYSIS of the NEWS by New Trend [3 items]
U.S. Regime & Israeli: Two faces: Same Coin:

November 11, 2006: The U.S. vetoed a tame UN resolution critical of Israel's slaughter of Palestinians in Gaza and calling for a cease fire. It was a signal that the U.S. is solidly behind Israeli terrorism.

November 12: Israeli terrorist Ehud Olmert arrived in Washington to plan for further moves in the Middle-East.

Iran and Syria: Part of U.S.-Israeli Moves:

Leaked segments of a report touted as the blueprint on U.S. pull out from Iraq implies that the U.S. and Iran-Syria will work together. The plan is supported by the Democratic Party [Israel's B team] which won the Nov. 7 elections. Bush is not rejecting it.

The U.S. has worked for long with Iran, be it in Afghanistan or Iraq. Iran supported the sanctions and embargo against Iraq. Iran also helped the Northern Alliance in Afghanistan against the Taliban.

The spoiler was Israel which used Bush to make an issue of Iran's nuclear program. Thus at one level, the U.S. threatened Iran to please Israel while in Iraq, the U.S. and Iran worked hand-in-glove. Iran's nuclear program is years away from any nuclear weaponry.

Why did Israel attack Hizbullah and Lebanon? The hidden agenda is becoming quite clear. Israel was meant to defeat Hizbullah easily [it couldn't] and reduce Lebanon to a beggar nation [which it did]. The purpose was to help the U.S. deal with Iran, not as a friend, which it is in secret, but as subservient. Israel tried and failed.

In Iraq, the plan now seems to be: Let Iranians come out openly and wage an offensive against al-Qaidah and other Islamic resistance groups. As the Iranian intervention, with seasoned troops, increases, the U.S. will slowly reduce its presence. Even small reductions or withdrawal to bases will be presented as "our troops are coming home."

Seasoned Shi'ite death squads known as the "Badr brigades" trained in Iran are carrying out a systematic slaughter of the Islamic resistance support base in Baghdad [the Sunni population] where thousands have been killed in execution style murders. The U.S. is complicit or is turning a blind eye.

A systematic assault program against the masses of people who support the resistance has been on since the mysterious destruction of a Shi'ite shrine in Samarra. After the shrine attack, within 70 hours, just about every Sunni mosque in the Baghdad area was attacked in a planned, synchronized pattern. Ali Sistani, top Shi'ite cleric kept quiet till the damage had been done.

As we noted last year, Iran has put $1 billion into Iraqi "security" with full U.S. approval. The puppet Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki visited both Washington, DC and Tehran and was welcomed as a great leader in both cities.

Earlier in western Iraq, the U.S. destroyed the city of Fallujah and five other Sunni cities, along with their mosques and Islamic schools. Iran watched the carnage, fascinated.

SUDAN: Zionist Diversionary Tactic:

November 13: The morning NBC TV program had Muslim apologist Prof. Akbar Ahmed making a fool of himself. He was subjected to a catechism. Are there 72 virgins in heaven for the martyrs of Islam? Of course not, he said. [NT comment:Come now, Prof. Every Muslim knows that according to the Qur'an there are Houris in Paradise. The professor was being dishonest. Perhaps not 72; some Hadith indicate the martyr's wife might be a Houri, a pure companion.] If Ahmed had been a man of courage, he would have countered with: Where is Hitler's order to carry out the Jewish "holocaust?" Why is David Irving in prison.?

After putting the professor on the defensive, when he piously declared that no one should be killed, NBC put on a propaganda piece about Darfur where supposedly Muslims are killing Muslims. Kristoff of the New York Times painted a terrible picture of Darfur and then demanded that MUSLIMS should DEMONSTRATE AGAINST Sudan.
[CAIR, the "Muslim" bootlicker group wants to do so but the Jewish coalition "supporting Darfur" wouldn't accept CAIR.]

So dear Muslim, forget about Palestine, Iraq and Afghanistan. Instead go demonstrate against Sudan. Master is calling.
[The media show no more coverage of SOMALIA where Islam is in triumph. Remember how the Jews used to show pictures of flies buzzing on near-dead Somali children? Now, no more Somalia!]

Getting the Word out about Imam 'Umar's Stand Against State Terrorism

On November 3, 2006 after Juma' prayers in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Br. Sulaiman Solano from Texas gave information cards to 100 Muslims. These cards list the government's attacks on Imam Warith Deen Umar [of Albany, New York] and his family. The U.S. government trashed his apartment [in the Bronx} and invaded his home [near Albany] with dogs and tried to intimidate him by seizing his computers and his passport and bringing a bogus case against him. Yet the Imam stood firm.

The distribution of the cards took place after Br. Kaukab said in his khutba that in Imam 'Umar we have at least one Imam in America who is not running away, not compromising in spite of frontal attacks by the Zionist government of the USA.

$2 million: Just the Icing on the Cake
Research on ISNA President Ingrid Mattson, Turkish "Moderate" F. Gulen and Big Money from Anti-Islam Think Tanks and Corporate Entities.

November 12, 2006. Prof. Suleyman Kurter, prominent Turkish-American Islamic scholar and Jamaat al-Muslimeen leader from Milwaukee, Wisconsin has produced some astounding research on the efforts being made to undermine the integrity of Islamic work in America.

Anti-Islam forces produce a Christian missionary magazine from the Hartford Seminary in Connecticut. This is a well-established, almost a century old magazine which has worked steadily against Islam. When its first issue appeared, it insulted the Prophet Muhammad, pbuh. In recent decades it changed its blatantly anti-Islam approach and became more sophisticated.

The Editor, Dr. Abd Rabie, a secularized Arab, is an Israeli citizen. Dr. Ingrid Mattson worked as his assistant. Recently she became President of ISNA [the so-called Islamic Society of North America] which supports the U.S. government. Sources say that "Muslim" Zionists have taken over ISNA.

Fethullah Gulen is a Turkish purveyor of "moderate Islam" which fits right into the Bush administration's plans. Gulen has made deep inroads into Turkish Muslim groups. He teaches "love" [almost like Christianity] as the central doctrine of Islam. He condemns armed opposition to U.S.-Israeli aggression and rejects Jihad.

Recently the Hartford Seminary published a COMPLETE ISSUE of its magazine in praise of Gulen, including a defense of Gulen's visit to the Pope.

Prof. Suleyman Kurter has not only uncovered the slinky-sneaky activities of these people, he has found the funding sources for these subversive actions.

If Mattson or Gulen would like to contradict Prof. Kurter, we would like to publish their statements. If they choose to ignore these damaging discoveries, we will publish more information because Prof. Kurter's research in this area is ongoing.

Part of the game of Gulen, ISNA and other such groups is the claim that Islam is {only} one of the "Abrahamic religions." It's a subtle attempt to end Islam's claim as THE TRUTH and as a DISTINCT religion which must be respected in its own right and not as the alleged offshoot of Judaism and Christianity.

Here is the latest: Gulen's group has donated $2 million to the missionary institution known as the Hartford Seminary:
http://www.courant.com/news/local/hc-ctgift1110.artnov10,0,5157880.story?coll=hc-headlines-local
"Hartford Seminary will receive a gift of $2 million from a Muslim community in Turkey....
The donor, Ali Bayram, a Turkish scholar and representative of the Muslim community made up of followers of Turkish theologian and religious leader Fethullah Gülen...."

The case of Ahmed 'Abdel Sattar
Amy Goodman of Democracy Now! A Blind Spot for Islam and Muslims.

[Why is the American Left silent about Ahmed 'Abdel Sattar, American-Egyptian political prisoner opposed to Hosni Mubarak the tyrant of Egypt, while vociferously supporting attorney Lynne Stewart in the same case? Ms. Nadrat Siddique, veteran human rights activist, took up the issue with Ms. Goodman. To date, Democracy Now! has not responded, nor done a single story on one of the most high profile political prisoners of the century.]

Dear Amy,

In this time of corporate media and embeds, I have long regarded your show as one of the last bastions of independent journalism, and you, as personally restoring dignity to the word "journalist." While I appreciate and agree with your pointed analyses and views on most issues, I am very disappointed by your failure to cover the railroadings of MOST high profile Muslim political prisoners, previously Imam Jamil El-Amin and the Virginia Seven, and now notably, Ahmed Abdel Sattar.

All proceedings in Ahmed's case were held in New York, where his wife and children also live. You are based out of New York, yet you did not bother to interview any of them.

You might consider that a government which lies about WMDs, spies on its own citizens, and engages in McCarthy-style labeling, blacklisting, and jailing of opponents just might have lied, labeled, and blacklisted--in order to jail--in this case as well. The government spent tens of thousands of dollars to railroad Ahmed, and held him for 4.5 years, while creatively building a case against him. Sadly, Democracy Now!'s excellent coverage of Lynne Stewart was sorely juxtaposed by its corporate media-style blackout of the railroading of Ahmed Abdel Sattar.

You might also consider that defense lawyers are not the only ones whom this trial was meant to terrorize. The Egyptian dissident community is ever more terrified of speaking out against the considerable abuses of Hosni Mubarak, after observing the jailing of yet another outspoken and courageous Egyptian patriot. Democracy Now missed a prime opportunity to educate its listeners on the U.S. government's silencing of foreign dissidents on U.S. soil.

Ahmed is not so different from the Filipino dissidents, assassinated on U.S. soil during the Marcos reign; or Orlando Letelier, murdered at Sheridan Circle in Washington, DC; or Alex Odeh, blown up as he worked in his own office. They are/were all courageous dissidents who fought to wrest their countries from imperialist domination, whether under Mubarak, Marcos, Pinochet, or Israeli apartheid—and paid for it with their lives or, in this case, their liberty.

I am hopeful that you will investigate this case independently, and not simply swallow the U.S. government's characteristic unsavory labels ("Islamic fundamentalist," etc) and fear mongering to obtain the conviction of yet another innocent Muslim.

Sincerely,
Nadrat Siddique

[Dr. Kaukab Siddique gave two Juma' khutbas during Ramadan, one in west Baltimore, one in central Baltimore, an Eid Khutba on October 24 in southern Pennsylvania, and two juma' khutbas in Shawwal, one in Wisconsin and one in central Baltimore.]
[In Ramadan Dr. Siddique led Tarawih prayers 3 times, the number proven from Hadith, and spoke briefly between rakats on the words of the Qur'an.]
[On November 20, he will be speaking on "JIHAD as Taught in the Qur'an" at Lincoln University.]
[These are the main points of his most recent khutba on November 10.]

TEXT:' "O mankind! Your Lord is ONE and your father is one. Listen! No Arab is superior to a non-Arab and no non-Arab is superior to an Arab: no "red" person is superior to a Black person, nor is a Black person superior to a "red" person, except in Allah-conscious behavior [taqwa]. Have I conveyed the message?" They said: Surely you have, O messenger of Allah. Peace and blessings of Allah be on you.' [Hadith in the Musnad of Ahmad ibn Hanbal.]
[From the Farewell sermon of Muhammad, pbuh, where he had an audience of more than 100,000.]
